It was late at night, Brainpod 65 added another cord connecting it to the section below the emperor's helm wedged between chassis and the helmet. It was a fairly thin cord in comparison to the others. With care, the grub that helped crashed into the brainpod's arms then set down to the ground. Brainpod 65 typed on to a white illuminating screen, glancing back and forth, the screen reading 'saving back up', the brainpod remaining still, hoping against chance of a nightmare ruining this desperate action and a chance.

The file was stored on the bulky device, thick, and quite large.

"It is done." Brainpod 65 said.

The grub approached brainpod 65.

"Pray that we don't need to use it." the grub was shaking like a leaf.

Brainpod 65 looked toward the grub.

"Pray that we do, on the contrary, my dear grub." Brainpod 65 patted on the grub's head.

Brainpod 65 turned away then departed out of the chamber followed by the tired grub that walked slowly.

The evil emperor made a fairly genius evil plot, eventually, one that could take down Morph, Jo-tan, and the rest of the Galactic Alliance. It all had to do with making a bug out of a hornet, sneaking them in to the main frame computer that kept all the data to the entire Galactic Alliance. The key to it all happening was Barlos Methane playing her part as required.

"Evil Emperor Zurg, Warp Darkmatter has been charged with treason and plead guilty." One of the grubs replied. "He can't stop you today."

"WHAT?" Zurg turned away from the walls of plans, surprise, disbelief, shock, radiating from his very being. "WHY?" He stared at the two small grubs. "THAT'S NOT POSSIBLE!"

"He confessed to being your mole, to the death of Buzz Lightyear, after being taken in for attempting to kill the federation president."

"No, he didn't."

"We all saw it."

"He would not. When did he do this? When did this happen?"

"He did it on the fourth anniversary. It was a very rough day for you so we decided not to tell."

"Grubs, get me the coordinates to the prison that he's been taken to." Can't lose him, too.

"It's maximum security."

"I have a disastrous evil plan to embark." he stretched his arms out, gleeful, then laughed, menacingly. "FREEING ALL THE CRIMINALS!"

The evil emperor moved through the tower with a evil cackle as he shot out commands to hornets. A lone grub stared there, between the others, exchanging looks. The grubs looked on sadly watching their friend proceed to embark on the evil mission. The lone grub rubbed their eyes with their sleeve starting to sob. It was quite a evil plot, simple, quick, and something that he would have done ideally in the old days when Buzz was around to inconvenience him.

The evil emperor boarded the craft, cackling, evil. It wasn't quite a long wait to arrive at the planet, he drew up plans, on what happened next, featuring abducting the judge the federation president, and Nebula, to drill into the point, of something that was true was simply not true. It was a desperate plan built off loss and fear of a dramatically changed environment. The evil emperor looked over the court trial, observing the Space Ranger look toward his team, who were shaking their heads, pleading, before he decided to end his career with a smile on his terms.

It was quite unlike the man that he had known for four years remade from the devastating loss, admitting it, destroying his career, upsetting those around him, saying things that he had sought-Zurg paused, lifting up, his claws clenching into fists. Warp Darkmatter had not confessed, it was plausible, someone else. He was currently held up somewhere by forces that were unknown. The only sure thing was to break out the impostor and question them where the real Warp Darkmatter was, if possible.

His ship arrived to the prison planet, his forces attacking, freeing the criminals, blasting cells open one by one. The evil emperor drifted through the corridor then spotted a cell that had the familiar figure outside of the chaos. The emperor stood at the door then the figure bolted out of the bunk bed then pressed on his arm, nothing, force of habit. Was it really him? Or just a programmed droid ruining his career for nefarious reasons? Zurg doubted that.

"Evil Emperor Zurg!" Warp announced, then added sarcastically. "What a surprise."

Inwardly, the evil emperor smiled at the familiar comment.

"Ah, Warp Darkmatter, how nice to see you in the middle of a plot." He aimed his plasma blaster in the direction of the Space Ranger. "Who killed Buzz Lightyear?"

"What kind of stupid question is that?" Warp asked with a pointed glare, his hands in his fists, with a defensive position.

"Which one of us lead him to the moon of doom?" He hovered into the cell as the ex-space ranger stepped back.

Warp felt around for equipment beside him with his free hand.

"Was it you or me?" Zurg asked.

A plasma blast erupted so the ex-Space Ranger ducked.

"WRONG ANSWERS ONLY!" Zurg demanded, glaring, at the ex-Space Ranger.

The ex-Space Ranger was cornered, grasping the edge of the bunk bed, a idea seeded in his mind, then smirked.

"Warp Darkmatter would not confess to being the only cause!" Zurg insisted.

The prison security were halted in their tracks as they saw the evil emperor.

"Why?" Warp asked.

He was trembling in rage, ready to burst, his heat ray vision growing in strength.

"BECAUSE I, ALONE-"

He stretched his arms out for emphasis.

"-KILLED BUZZ LIGHTYEAR!"

Then he refocused his attention on the ex-Space Ranger.

"AND I DIDN'T HAVE A MOLE IN STAR COMMAND!"

Zurg fired his heat ray vision after the ex-Space Ranger who flung himself out of the way via the gap at the side of the bunk bed and made a run for it. Zurg chased after Warp, furious, exiting the prison chasing him into the mountain side. The ex-Space Ranger fled into one of the holes leading in. The Evil Emperor remained there, hovering, waiting for the ex-Space Ranger to get out -who had already done so behind his back - then proceeded to take Zurg's shuttle and go on to clear his name.

Nebula saw the video on the screen of the evil emperor chasing after Warp Darkmatter, furious. His words echoed, loud, and clear, full of rage, disgust, and emphasis. Mira, XR, and Booster were heading to Tradeworld to do a more thorough investigation following a trail regarding a mechanical copy of Warp Darkmatter being copied. It had only fifteen minutes ago came up prior to the news breaking.

"Craters." Ovus remarked with a grimace. "Not a Space Ranger and the Emperor still targets him."

"Would he have done the same?" Hikari asked. "If it were Buzz Lightyear."

"Course, he would." Ovus replied, confident. "Lightyear was his nemesis."

"Totally." Ty said then sighed, shaking his head. "Can't believe Warp ruined his life on the anniversary."

"Why would he do something like this?" Hikari asked, confused, shifting toward Ty. "Red herring?"

"Warp cheats and it hurts others on missions." Ty replied to Hikari. "He doesn't do red herrings."

A small 'oh' escaped from the commander as he saw the duo escape from view as his perspective changed. A lie, words out of shame, personal belief, all of these added up to a very compromised younger man haunted by the last mission with Buzz Lightyear. It surprised the commander that he would say something like that, but, the look of surprise on his features when being informed the real reason he was charged with treason after the fact was only a single emotion called 'confusion'. As if Warp had been unaware that he did that, as if he didn't do it.

It had been a very rushed trial, to prove the Galactic Alliance didn't deal well with traitors with favoritism. The LGM's part in the trial, Warp not paying attention to it consumed by something else, largely on the day that Buzz Lightyear had gone. It crept closer until the day that he took the stand. The commander closed his eyes in sorrow. It made that much sense, why he threw away his career, his life, and those around him for loneliness. The commander should have seen it coming, largely. He never saw it coming.

Close to five months had passed, the question lingering on the processor of the evil emperor. The device was created, the target in question, powering on with a bubble form ahead right in the dead center. It was as if looking through a window only a different environment could be seen through the portal in contrast to the environment inside the tower.

Zurg saw Ex-Ranger Darkmatter, in a dark brown trench coat, his orange pants standing out, hugging a familiar old woman who was holding him like she could lose him. He had visibly signs of wrist laser burns on his trench coat. There were visible fear in nana's frame in contrast to the calm, relaxed, and at ease, Zurg couldn't see her reluctance to let Warp go. The Space Ranger was heavily distracted in other matters that would very likely intrude in the interrogation.

"This is going to require time. . ." Zurg's voice was sinister, turning off the device with a simple press of the remote, then turned toward the small group and set his hand on his hip closing his hand into a fist and revealed three claws. "And it will feature three steps!"

He chucked the device into the nearest grub's hands,

"Later, visit, and ABDUCTION." Zurg smacked the palm of his servo with each letter. "Make it possible."

Then he pointed back at the brainpods.

"You have one month."

Zurg folded his arms looming over the small group that represented the brainpods.

"If it isn't delivered, someone is going to die."
