It was Venus of a conflict upon arriving to Planet Z, by Team Heavyturbo, by the hornets, by the defense grid, and the entire planet itself were against her. A red flag had arisen regarding the entire day, narrowly losing the planet, narrowly getting arrested, narrowly being uncovered as a fallen Space Ranger. Her armor was dented by the damage that had been undertaken proving that she had the evil emperor's back to the point that the grubs removed her from the enemy list.

Matt-hun relaxed in the throne room chair, slumping, pressing a button, the helmet deactivated disappearing off her face. She looked on toward the entrance of the damaged throne room, that had once been filled by Rangers and shooting hornets and brainpods and grubs all attacking her. The memory was a mere irritation and a anomaly. She leaned her head back with a sigh. The evil emperor has some 'splaining to do. She rubbed the side of her head before straightening up.

"Where is Evil Emperor Zurg?" Matt-hun asked.

"He went to Morph, Agent Z." was the reply by a brainpod.

"For a evil plot that he hatched up at random." Matt-hun assumed.

"No, he went to get back the toys that you let get stolen." the brainpod folded their arms, grudgingly.

"Hmm. . ." She got up from the chair then folded her arms. "He will love what the cat brought in."

She ghosted Warp out of the uniform setting him on the floor. Warp's eyes slowly started to open, his eyes beginning to open, while she stepped back, in shock, gaping, as the Space Ranger lifted himself up. He got up to his feet rubbing the back of his neck, his eyes at first droopy, then grew wide awake. He turned around then paused in his tracks.

"Lemme guess. . ." Warp said. "Zurg sent you to get me out of there and hold me captive instead of letting me go after that De'jaciia fellow."

"Space Ranger, huh." Then Matt-hun added. "Very retro style."

"Yeah," he set his hands on his hips with a smirk. "Wait a minute-" he looked toward his suit then back with a glare. "It's not retro!"

"Regardless, your suit is old fashioned." She taunted him, walking past him approaching the suit as Warp glared back at her. "Having to take it apart piece by piece, taking precious time, having to repair small pieces of it instead of the entire thing when it holds damage, Phoenix, the wrist lasers!" She held up the arm, flipping open the compartment, then up toward Warp, who was starting to shake with anger, his eyes seeing red. "Unfortunately, it's out of date-"

"Okay, lemme just ask you one small and very simple question." he shook his hands then stretched his arms out. "Where is Islo of De'jaciia?"

"Who?" Matt-hun asked.

"The cyborg who portrays Zurg in that Buzz Lightyear of Star Command series." Warp replied.

"Oh!" Matt-hun exclaimed. "They died nine centuries ago!"

"They are this tall," he waved his hand, one hand on his hip, glaring. "looks exactly like him," The Space Ranger folded his arms. "really gets into character on set."

He approached the younger woman.

"And I mean really gets into character!" Warp added. "gets reported on constantly as Zurg," he lifted his arms out into the air then stretched them sideways apart. "I have to come to set," he lowed his arms gesturing toward the ground. "every time that he is guest starring because the people who live there are just unaware that he's a actor who's method acting and Netflix doesn't give a crater about them and just leaves them in the dark."

She gaped as she listened to his rant taking small steps away from him.

"W-w-Warp Darkmatter." She took several steps back as she recognized him.

"So it's the future then." Warp's brows furrowed then sighed lowering his gaze.

"You and Buzz Lightyear are legends." Matt-hun said, walking around him, admiring him. "Giants." She paused in her tracks along his side. "Ghosts of the most glorious age there was."

"We used to be." Warp's voice was quiet as he lifted his gaze setting his hands on his hips toward her. "Who are you?"

"Agent Z." Matt-hun said.

"That's stupid." he slapped his forehead then dragged his hand down his face with a groan. "A man died with that name." he glared back at Matt-hun. "Should have gone with a far better name."

"I like the ring of it." Matt-hun bore a grin under the helmet. "It's like Zorro," she used her fingers like they were swords making swish noises as the Space Ranger stared at her like she had no brain cells at all. "it's like Men in Black," she turned toward the greatly appalled Sapce Ranger. "Agent J and Agent K."

"Where . . ." he sucked in a breath then exhaled. "is De'jaciia?"

"Zurg is a full time thing, Darkmatter." Matt-hun said.

"So is being his nemesis." Warp set his hands on his hips.

"Why would they want to pretend to be him?" Matt-hun asked.

"The fun of it, mind control, or been brainwashed." was the Space Ranger's reply with a shrug. "The usual."

"I can believe for the fun of it," Matt-hun said, setting her hands on her hips before adding. "No disrespect, but he has been here for twenty years." she flashed her ten fingers up. "It would have worn off by now."

"They've been here for TWENTY years!" Warp exclaimed. "And you've been using that name FOR TWENTY YEARS?"

"It had been twenty years about three weeks ago." His jaw fell in shock at the reply. "Last that I saw him was three weeks ago."

"THEY'VE BEEN GONE FOR THREE WEEKS AND THAT HASN'T RANG ANY ALARM BELLS?"

"Sometimes he's gone for a month or two terrorizing some poor civilization." Matt-hun said.

"Have you checked your voice mail?" Warp asked.

"No." Matt-hun scowled, glaring, back at him. "He never leaves a voice mail!"

"Do us a favor . . ." it was his turn to glare. "and do it."

She tapped on a holographic representation of her communication system on her arm, flipping through, tapping, above the armor that cover her arm. Warp looked in surprise at the technology that was quite advanced, more digital, less physical. There was no small screen where one could see they were talking to as part of the arm. The ex-Space Ranger turned off the holographic setting.

"There's nothing." Matt-hun commented.

He squinted at her before speaking.

"Get me to Star Command." a look told him that there was more than one Star Command. "I don't give the ashes of a fallen planet about who you are or what you are," he grabbed her by the shoulder. "Get me to them!"

The ex-Space Ranger bore a big grin beneath her helmet linking her hands behind her back

"Fortunately for you, we have a Space Ranger commander suit that's at your size that was used to slip in a fake commander after framing Commander Fairflight. Blend in."

"Sneaky." Warp said, admiringly.

"My touch." Matt-hun said.

"YOU FRAMED A COMMANDER?" Warp abruptly exploded.

He was visibly cracking before her eyes.

"The dark side is fun." Was all she said then she held her hand out. "Help you in exchange, we find out if it is Zurg and why he came here."

Warp looked toward her hand then back.

"We have a deal." Warp took her hand and shook it with a smirk.

The Galactic Alliance had performed every type of torture method imaginable for a android of Zurg's making to cause him to say yes, yes, yes, that he would leave and go back to his time. The only sound that he made was sweet spine chilling laughter, terrifying, even after they put him through simulation after simulation, trying to wear down his determination. His determination only withstood it like a tardigrade that remained against all odds, like a cockroach, like another insect called the mountain stone weta that froze itself to survive in the frigid temperature.

The federation president arrived to the station in which the evil emperor, remained, menacingly, becoming part of a station in Star Command museum. Zurg had his arms folded, standing in the center of the room, in a smaller replica of his throne room normally found aboard his dreadnought.

"What did you see when you looked at Warp Darkmatter?" was the question.

"Warp Darkmatter and Buzz Lightyear." Zurg replied.

The federation president bore a smile in return.

"You should be aware that your beloved Space Ranger dies during a Saturday barbecue." the federation president said.

The emperor glared upon the federation president.

"Lie!" Zurg accused.

There was only a smirk in response.

"It's part of our history." the federation president said as he stepped closer toward the station then tapped on the forcefield. "You replace Captain Darkmatter with a android," he tapped on it once. "a clone," Twice. "a alternate," and a third time before shrugging. "something like that."

"That can't happen." Zurg noted. "That wasn't me, I am right here in the future!"

"And there is a impostor in the past." the federation president said.

"I've seen the ending of Buzz Lightyear of Star Command and pictures of Warp Darkmatter as a old man."

"That was fan art, Evil Emperor Zurg." the federation president said as the emperor turned away thinking it over. "Wishful thinking!"

"It's better than being killed by him. Evil Buzz Lightyear coming!" Zurg repeated, taking steps forward, stretching his arms out then drew them back. "Soon!" He shook his closed servos for emphasis. "The future is ready for him!" he shook his index finger. "The past is not!"

"We got that part handled neatly." The federation president said.

"Lies." Zurg turned his back to him, folding his arms, not believing it for one second glaring down at the federation president. "His chaos is specialized, you can hear it, heading your way, unable to do a thing but watch it happen." His voice fell soft. "It's a lot worse than Venus."

"He arrived in the tower just yesterday and we killed him." the federation president added.

"All talk, no body, no proof, troll." he shook his claw in the air then turned in the direction of the federation president with his arms folded with a long condescending laugh. "Evil Emperor Zurg is well versed in this."

"Mira is attacked by a worm and dies." the federation president said.

Zurg knew her well enough, she wouldn't be alone in that moment, she would be ordered to ghost into Warp Darkmatter.

"Lies." Zurg stated.

"Booster becomes a dinosaur and dies during chaos." The federation president said.

"Lies." Zurg repeated.

"Ranger XR died a long time ago," the federation president folded his arms. "we're using a copy of their memory processor." XR was watching the event unfold before a two way mirror with their arms folded beside Ida and Neon. "Actually pretty messed up."

"Lies." Zurg called it out.

"Buzz Lightyear returns and he dies because of you, again." The federation president said. "Because of that, you wander the path of madness into the chambers of evil at it's finest, through your unfamiliar madness leaving destruction behind in your wake, and Ranger Parsec is dispatched to destroy you with the Galactic Alliance ordering Star Command to do so."

"Another lie." Zurg dismissed with a flick of his hand.

"He said you were the worst villain." the villain took sincere glee tapping his claws together to the words, thrilled, to hear it. "Star Command considered you the same way after Buzz Lightyear died."

"Even more lies." Zurg had a long laugh, warmly, at the comment causing the federation president to clench his teeth. "The impostor doesn't care about Buzz Lightyear." He shook his hand. "Wrong way to toy with me."

"Star Command is destroyed." Zurg rolled his optics. "And Morph gets attacked after Warp Darkmatter is killed. You do nothing."

"Space Rangers bounce back and defeat the threat." Zurg tapped his claws together like they were a mouth back at the federation president. "Yadah yadah yadah." he lowered his claws rolling his optics. "They evacuated Star Command after the hull is destroyed."

"Commander Nebula dies ten years after Buzz Lightyear in the line of duty saving the impostor."

"More lies." Zurg said.

"The Galactic Alliance is dissolved after that." the federation president tried, again.

"Carelessly bad lie trying to change my mind." Zurg admired the determination of the federation president. "Get someone better at lying to torture me."

The federation president glared back at the evil emperor then had a reluctant sigh.

"Then you leave us little to no choice but to make you a animatronic by erasing your programming and putting in a new one."

"Good!" Zurg clapped his servos together.

"That isn't a good thing, Evil Emperor Zurg!" The federation president announced.

"Being a villain beings doing terrible things and people knowing you did it."

The evil emperor loomed back, his arms extending, laughing with a evil vibe.

"This is evil."

His audio synthesizer glowed yellow.

"I love being evil!"

Zurg's voice sounded happy as the federation president's darkened features relaxed then stepped back.

"Because you get to see the shadow of a being that once lived every time that you go here!"

There was only a incredibly pained look on the federation president's features at the prospect then walked out of the hallway.

Warp strolled down a hallway donning the outfit that had been left handed over to him, leaving his space suit back at Planet Z. It was hours after the visit by the federation president to Zurg's station. The articles of clothing felt warm, decent, and comforting, kind, thick, as if he were being actively hugged. It was different from the uniform that he were familiar of his time then tapped on the badge as directed earlier by Agent Z. A advanced Space Ranger suit replaced the casual wear.

It felt quite colorful and light compared to the more familiar heavy armor. He admired Alliance Plaza, grinning. No one paid mind to him, paid attention to him, there were children actively playing 'Chase The Ranger!' with a child dressed up as Zurg firing a water gun and other children wearing a child version of the uniform made of cardboard. He followed the directions on the signs leading to where the actor largely believing that they were the evil emperor would go. He walked in avoiding all of the holophotographs, weaving on past the civilians, and other Space Rangers, exploring a place that he had only been to a few hours ago.

He walked into a section that was being redirected, a strange machine, parts not visibly connected, disconnected, freely floating. It was a very strange sight to observe so the Space Ranger walked on in the other direction. He was sneaky, doing it behind the machine's back, whistling, casually, until coming to a halt once seeing a very familiar figure that looked nothing like the costume that the actor wore. He didn't have a dress, in fact, his lower half was detached to that familiar build which Warp had gotten used to close to four years.

"How did you find out-"

"How did you find out-"

"Stop repeating after me!"

"Stop repeating after me!"

"You first!"

"You first!"

"I will not-"

"You, first, Warp Darkmatter!"

"A thousand years in the future and still can't get you off my back!"

"Wherever or whenever you will go, you will find my presence, Warp Darkmatter. A given for spoiling my evil plans!"

"I'm here for Islo of De'jaciia, the cyborg you abducted, the guy who went here, you made them go insane!"

"De'jaciia is back at Planet Z."

"In the past!"

"Always has been."

"Why would you do that?" Warp stretched his arms out in a moment of outrage. "They're worse!" his features darkened has pointed a finger back at the emperor with his other hand set on his hip. "They're doing it for sport!"

"La la la la, can't hear over history claiming that they had the best defeat!" Zurg said, giddy.

"Have you even read the history books about how it happened?" Warp stretched is arms out.

"Don't need to." Zurg said, content. "Our battles are over." he waved his claw quite dismissively, rolling a optic. "Go home, fight for your era, be sneaky!" he folded muscular like his arms against his chassis as as Warp's features grew even more shocked. "Go through the hard fight, and come out, bruised, drained, and triumphant."

"That's not a fair fight!" Warp argued. "Fighting against a impostor!"

"The most easiest task to be given." Zurg commented.

"No matter how I do it; Everyone believing there is peace! Evil gone for good! It's wrong! And it doesn't feel right!"

"It's evil!" Zurg clenched his claws.

"But, it's false peace! It's not real! There is no resolution! And that's not even evil!"

"It's all you ever wanted!" Warp clenched his teeth at the reply. "To have a existence without being terrorized -" Warp's features grew cold, his hands clenching, at the words coming from Zurg. "-by Evil Emperor Zurg ever day."

"That. was. a. private. conversation." Warp said.

"No. Not private on Karn." then Zurg added. "Your exact words to Ozma." then shook his helm. "Why do you even care about the matters of losing your greatest headache, Warp Darkmatter?" the curiosity in him grew. "Why do you CARE?"

"Because Buzz Lightyear did." Warp shot back, coldly. "And that made the whole difference in the galaxy."

"Frankly, I am bored of that century." Zurg turned away shaking a servo back at the Space Ranger. "This is a entirely different ballgame." His servo clenched for emphasis, his optics lighting up, scheming. "And challenging."

"Do you understand what you've done?" Warp asked, his shoulders slumped, scowling, disappointed and exhausted in the villain. "Because it really looks like you screwed up." then raised his smooth voice for emphasis. "AGAIN."

The emperor synthesized the sound of a huff.

"Sucker up, you'll live." Zurg said, demeaningly.

Warp's eyebrows twitched.

"What the consequences are?" Warp asked. "Do you know what they are? Asides to false peace?"

"They have to recast me in that Netflix show," The evil emperor shrugged as he turned back in the direction of the younger man. "You used to like challenges like these." The evil emperor pointed a lone claw at the Space Ranger then withdrew it. "plenty easy," he stretched his arms with a evil laugh. "requires your complete attention, whole mind, just to solve for good." The evil emperor linked his hands behind his back. "You should be pleased."

Warp was genuinely shocked at what he heard, his eyebrows had risen, his mouth gaping, shoulders slumped.

"This is . . ." Warp's shoulders straightened as he folded his arms glaring back at the entity. "unlike you."

"Wrong!" Zurg tipped his thumb upside down, gleefully, then folded his arms turning away as the Space Ranger squinted at him. "It is."

"What are you running from in the past that is so terrifying?" Warp folded his arms.

"Boredom, Darkmatter." Was the dark reply with his back to the Space Ranger. "Something you'll never understand."

"That's clear between us." Warp acknowledged.

Warp turned away then proceeded to walk down the hallway with his hands in fists.

Matt-hun came to a pause at the end of the hallway. She stood at the entrance of the tunnel system with her arms folded, she had only recently read a message left by Zurg that had been made five years ago about this day regarding his absence. The reason why he had arrived, Warp didn't get a clear answer, it was being kept back, Matt-hun realized it was for a good cause, he needed to keep the memory of Buzz Lightyear intact. That there was one Buzz Lightyear and that he were always a good man.

She watched as the system came to life, moving, twirling, wind brewing, electricity cackling. The portal opened then a figure in a uniform all too familiar but lacking the dress that she had first seen the evil emperor walking in.

"I am Supreme Commander Buzz Lightyear."

More like Emperor Buzz Lightyear. The exact words of Zurg repeating in her mind. Matt-hun had her hands linked behind her back.

"Matt-hun Nebula, ex-Space Ranger, concerned third party."

"Where is he."

"Evil. Always. Wins."

"What are you going to do?" he stepped forward with a smirk. "Fight me to death?" the dim lighting lit up certain features of his face. "I win."

"No, got a better idea." Matt-hun aimed a strange purple and red gun at him sporting a grin. "A little favor for Evil Emperor Zurg."

She pressed the trigger then the evil Lightyear became stone, unable to move, unable to speak, fully conscious, anger building, struggling to move. He watched as the ex-Space Ranger approached him, slowly, taking her time, then set the weapon into the holster along their uniform. She pressed the symbol of Star Command twice then it changed before his eyes to the uniform theme that she were most associated to.

"I am moving you to a black hole to be thrown back in time and demonstrated to Evil Emperor Zurg that you're dealt with. . ." she twirled her index finger at him, proudly, admiring her handy work. "with the brainpods and grub's help-" the brainpods glared at the paralyzed evil Buzz Lightyear with their arms folded. "-in making sure you make it to Planet Z in this state."

Matt-hun snapped her fingers.

"Take him away, hornets!"

The hornets lifted the statue down the corridor.

"Handling the Galactic Alliance's greatest headache just like that."

She turned toward the hallway.

"The dark side is fun!"

She sang swinging her hips from side to side to side.

"The things you can accomplish being a villain." She raised her singing voice with the weapon swung over her shoulder, reprising the song, this time to a far more pleased tone. "In the short span of time upon being thwarted by a Space Ranger!"

Ida arrived to the museum for a quick tour and observation of the repairs. The damage had been done, it had been repaired, it had been fixed. Even though the damage to the museum had been replaced, they could still see the damage. XR admired the old section of the museum while Ida went to the room that was part of the evil emperor's station. They came to a pause in heir tracks observing the evil Emperor had a visitor in the form of Agent Z.

"I fixed your problem by making him a stone statue and sent him back to the past." was the finishing comment.

"No." Zurg said.

"No?"

"It will not work on me."

"What will not work?"

"This. . ." he twirled a claw. "lying."

"Evil Emperor Zurg, there is no lying." the agent sounded anoyed.

"Evil Buzz Lightyear, if sent back to the past, would return restored."

"The technology that was used on him makes that impossible!"

"He is Buzz Lightyear."

"Fought him?"

"Associates of mine have."

"Then we can fight him."

"If he had appeared twenty years ago before Warp Darkmatter got here then it would be a option." He turned his back toward her.

"You want me to send Commander Darkmatter back from whence he came?"

Zurg turned back toward her, his optics glowing, clenching his fists.

"Federation President, I don't believe a single word coming from your mouth. Visiting me. This late at night? Determined."

"It's me, Matt-hun Nebula."

Their heart raced at the name.

"No, you're not." Zurg said.

"How so?" Matt-hun struggled to not roll her eyes.

"She would have already taken me out." Zurg replied.

Matt-hun pressed her emblem then the suit reverted to casual wear.

"This is your time out." Matt-hun pointed back at the emperor, exasperated. "You know how it works, you ask to be taken out!"

"Demand, actually." Zurg stroked his 'z' emblem.

"You need this, being alone," she gestured around the room. "Having a pity party," she admired the room then leaned forward with a dark glare. "all to yourself."

"Very evil." Zurg complimented, proudly, his claws clasped together below his audio synthesizer.

Ida stared in shock from the two way mirror, slouched, their arms loose, slack-jawed, watching the Tangean hybrid ghost out of the building. Ida felt dizzy, staggering back, falling into the nearest chair. Everything fell into place, all the last twenty years, the comments, the actions, the rescue from time to time by Agent Z, being bested by the agent in combat and put into restraints before carrying on the mission. It had been obvious, they had been in denial, twenty years. And it crashed upon them like a tidal wave.

Ida departed out of the room, went to the bathroom, then puked. They washed their hands then dried them off with a sigh. They walked with a tremble wiping off tears, they knew, they had seen, they were aware of a friend had betrayed them and Star Command. It didn't make the heart ache any less knowing that she were alive, that she hadn't died, that she hadn't been fatally trapped after all, that her screams weren't the final sounds that they had heard flying away from the volcano on the way back to the Star Cruiser 21. These screams had haunted her for years, in nightmares, as distant noises that she could hear in the background, that they were working for Zurg after all this time.

XR was by her side, talking, fondly, about how he paid visits to old offices. She tuned him out, her heart full of ache, her sorrow, her pain, all the feelings unable to be seen. She wandered out from the museum, her mind lost in thought, contemplating what she had the authority to do, what she had to do, her mind lost in anguish only to be abruptly yanked back by a hand then shoved into a curved city bench.

"Watch it!" Warp warned the captain with a glare.

And Ida wasn't paying attention, she was lost, a look that the Space Ranger caught up on in concern.

"Are you okay?" Warp asked, concerned.

"Ida!" XR called, drawing the other Space Ranger's attention. "Slow down!"

"XR?"

"Warp!"

"XR!"

"It's good to see a familiar face after a couple centuries." XR said.

"You, too." Warp withdrew then leaned back. "Does Star Command know why he's here?"

"I'm a rookie, out of the need to know basis," XR apologized with a shrug. "can't help you."

"Do you know what they're doing with Zurg?" Warp asked.

"They're deleting him and turning the shell into a animatronic in two days." Xr was able to say.

"A animatronic?" Warp frowned, squinting, at the mere word.

"Yep." XR nodded.

"Which can be stolen and be a problem for someone transferring themselves in." Warp said.

"Yep." XR nodded, again.

"Do they have a security system?" Warp asked.

"They have Space Rangers stationed." XR grew a smile. "If you call that a security system."

"Then it's time that the past calls back for their Zurg." Warp stood up to his feet dusting his hands off. "You didn't hear that from me."

"Super illegal if I had. Stealing. Launching a counter attack. Attacking Space Rangers."

"I'll be getting some help." Warp smirked looking toward the night sky. "Kicking and screaming if need be."

"Could you tell Mira to play this with Booster tomorrow? Your tomorrow, I get blown up, getting repaired by the LGM, by a friendly fire by accident."

"That sounds like it were not by accident." Warp shifted toward the android.

"Maybe. . it wasn't?" Then XR shifted toward Ida as Warp raised his brows at once. "And this is Ida Heavyturbo," It was said with pride as the android lowered his arm. "Captain of Team Heavyturbo, Star Command's official mascot." he paused, placing a finger on his lips, concerned. "They found out something really troubling."

"It has to do with Agent Z." Warp said, after taking a really good guess. "Admire that kid, she kept it secret far longer than Buzz Lightyear did.

"Buzz?" Ida stepped up. "He betrayed you?"

"Resurrected," Warp shifted toward the Space Ranger with a smile. "Had a bad case of memory loss." his smile softened looking aside, fondly, at the past, at the last action that had been done. "Saved my life."

"Is the Netflix series true?" Ida asked.

"Which part?" Warp asked.

"All of it." Ida clarified, gesturing toward the moon orbiting the planet then folded her arms.

"It happened." he looked, apologetically, toward her then became curious. "Did they adapt the uni-mind episode as a special event?"

"A movie, actually." Ida said, fondly. "They all won another set of Galactic Oscars then went their way on different projects."

"Coil? Springer? De'jaciia?"

"All three of them this time. Powerful movie about grief, about blame, about being reckless, being about amends, and trying to carry on when the entire landscape has drastically changed for the better or for the worse."

"Don't worry, it had the highest quality in the script and it turned out amazing!" XR announced stretching his arms out for emphasis. "You loved it."

"It wouldn't have been easy for Buzz if he survived that day and things went my way instead of his way." Warp confessed, looking toward the statue of the legend aiming his wrist laser at the statue of Zurg from across, as if they were still actively locked in battle, using the buildings as their final battle. "He would have been hurt."

"Would you. . ." Ida cleared her throat before processing to ask. "have regretted working for Zurg if things went your way?"

"No." Warp said then grimaced. "I pity you facing a hard decision like this." he gestured toward her with a hand. "Envy you and your friend, living what we should have had." then he shifted toward the small android as Ida walked away. "What's the message say?"

XR looked side, playing with his fingers, before replying,

"I-I-I miss them."

XR held out the device between his finger tips.

"Sure, XR." Warp took the item.

"Thank you." XR said. "Been waiting for seven hundred fifty-five years to have the opportunity to hand it over." XR placed his claw on the side of the Space Ranger's shoulder as his voice started to crack, emotionally. "Knew you were going to show up one day during a mission. . . . one last time."

It was Warp who brought the small android against his chest into a hug and let him cry then patted on the sobbing android's back.

"Just thinking about the day, that is set to arrive, it fills me with joy."

Zurg sang to himself turning away from the opening of his station with sorrow in his voice.

"Stuck in a day that's gray, ugly, and dreadful."

He rubbed his shoulder looking toward the replica of Buzz Lightyear on a series of holographic screens.

"Tomorrow. Just thinking about tomorrow. It's such a appealing stardate."

he looked toward a collection of small children in front of the station who stared at him then laughed, pointing at him, his optics glowed brightly red at them, then they fled with a scream.

"There'll be happiness, bet your bottom uni-buck on it," he rubbed his claws together, admiring pieces of himself, nostalgically. "Despite how lonely it is."

He turned in the other direction as the door to his station opened.

"Tomorrow! I adore you, cherish you, you're just a stardate away!" he clenched his claws together. "Then why does it frighten me so?"

He turned away.

"What if it all hits the cosmic dumpster? And I lose?" Zurg stopped singing. He turned back in the direction of the Space Ranger ahead of him then delivered a sharp punch to the chassis. "What if the chaos proves to be the undoing of those around me?" he punched out a half cyborg Space Ranger pinning them down with his foot. "Why do I fight it?"

He looked toward the back up as he resumed singing.

"Stuck in a day that's gray, ugly, and dreadful."

He swung the Space Ranger at the group knocking them out of the room.

"Just thinking about the day, that is set to arrive, it fills me with fear!"

His shoulders raised staring back at the Space Rangers that got back up.

"It's evil! Terrifying! Risky! What if it doesn't go my way?"

He clenched his claws against his chassis.

"Tomorrow, I hate you! Come what may, tomorrow! Tomorrow! Tomorrow!" Zurg grasped a Space Ranger by the head then his claws embedded into their head and smacked the ranger against the forcefield as the team leader spoke into the hovering light blue mechanism above their arm. "I. HATE. YOU."

He stepped aside dodging a Space Ranger.

"It's a day that's gray and lonely and frightening!"

He kicked back a ranger then performed a series of movies breaking several legs and arms.

"But, the stars will always be there!" he paused as Ida appeared in the doorway as his tone changed from sorrow to happiness. "The stars that makes life shine brilliantly!"

He erupted electricity from his claws then flung it after the Space Ranger.

"Hidden by the blue sky! By the orange sky! By the cloudy sky! By a colorful sky! By a building! That is why I must lift my chin up, and grin!"

He stretched his arms out, his claws briefly curling against his palm, defiantly before delivering a swing.

"Tomorrow that could mean forcing Evil Buzz Lightyear to appear!" Zurg clenched his claws then summoned a ball of electricity. "And face the full throttle of Star Command."

He landed a blow against one of the captains.

"They don't know," Zurg laughed, shifting toward Ida then tossed them into the chair. "I don't intend for them to know," he flung a electric ball against the third Space Ranger. "because it's my day to shine like the sun of tomorrow!"

He clenched his claws.

"His legacy, Commander Nebula's baby! All grown up!" Zurg stepped back, now speaking, not singing. The station walls fallen, tipping over, landing on his back, then flung on to the top of his base with a claw held out as a another team arrived. "Full of fighting spirit and advantage!"

He sent out a series of balls of electricity moving back.

"He can't be here to see this used to my advantage; he'll be laughing!"

Abruptly, a rookie appeared by his side slipping along cylinder object around his arm that clasped around his elbow and stifled his electricity.

"It's a day that's gray and lonely and frightening!"

Zurg resume singing as he tossed the rookie off his arm then struggled to take off the cylinder object.

"Tomorrow!"

Zurg was knocked aside by a wrist laser blast leaving behind a burn.

"I adore you, cherish you, you're just a stardate away!" he clenched his claw as he dodged the oncoming blasts coming from the wrist lasers summoning a ball of electricity. "Then why does it frighten me so?"

Ida charged with the next cylinder and shoved it into his arms. He struggled as the captain stepped back, grimacing, looking down upon him, in disgust. He were lifted up by a pair of tall rookies then motioned out of the station. The evil emperor grunted struggled in a desperate bid to escape then directed to the back entrance of the museum and lifted into a strange transport machine.

"Tomorrow, I hate you!"

Zurg remained in the brightly lit transport, restrained, confined.

"Come what maaaaaaaaaaaay, tomorrow!"

Warp and Matt-hun were in a heavily cloaked dreadnought above the vehicle as a blue portal appeared distantly largely unnoticed.

"Tomorrow." Warp noted as he exchanged a glance.

"Your tomorrow is my past." Matt-hun noted as she looked up toward the dreadnought that was cloaked.

"And my future." Warp said then flew above the vehicle, distantly.

"Hanging on for tomorrow! It's a rich, glorious, epic, defining day!"

"How's tomorrow gonna be for you?" Matt-hun asked, her arms folded.

"I think it's going to be great." Abruptly, Warp sang. "Because that tomorrow, is the best tomorrow, where he is IN JAIL!"

"Tomorrow!" Zurg sang. "Tomorrow!" The vehicle came to a pause at a building. "Tomorrow!"

The door to the truck opened.

"When I'm stuck with dread, terror, and uncertaint-"

He was yanked out abruptly by a large dark arm then looked up spotting the Evil Lightyear.

"I look to my next evil scheme!"

Zurg rolled out of the way of the plasma blast.

"Full of certainty of terror, fear, and uncertainty to the victims!"

Zurg raised his arms up as Warp and Matt-hun appeared as specters in the distantly.

"TOMORRROW!" Matt-hun flew closer as the plasma blast struck the binds. "TOMORROW!" Zurg's optics darted back and forth then up toward Matt-hun who held a red glowing object between her fingers. "TOMMORROW!"

She flung it after him and he held his claw out catching it in his claw.

"What's that?"

"Your evil rock of doom!" he held the rock as Matt-hun stopped Warp. "Buzz Lightyear, this time, you shall not escape! AS PART OF MY EVIL PLAN!"

The evil Buzz Lightyear recognized the rock.

"Craters." was what he got in return. "The Rock of Ipseadan."

The Evil Buzz Lightyear crashed down the street as Zurg lifted himself up as the rock was consumed into him.

"Tomorrow!"

Zurg looked up toward the restrained Warp Darkmatter, screaming, trying to make him stop using the object.

"Zurg, you can't transfer wirelessly with that in you! Zurg! Drop it! Drop it!"

"Evil. Always. Survives."

Then Zurg proceeded to resume singing.

"Stuck in a day that's gray, ugly, and dreadful."

The emperor Buzz Lightyear leaped up into his feet then yanked out a car door.

"You're a better foe than I expected, Evil Emperor Zurg."

"Just thinking about the day, that is set to arrive, it fills me with fear!"

His shoulders were raised up as XR hid behind a car.

"It's evil!" he aimed his arm at the emperor Buzz Lightyear. "Terrifying! Risky!"

Zurg looked at his arm that was turning dark red with red lines then toward Warp Darkmatter and back as the emperor Buzz Lightyear flung the door at him.

"What if it doesn't go my way?"

Zurg sliced it in half easily by standing in the middle of it.

"Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow!"

The menacing emperor Zurg was consumed in evil continued approached as the emperor Buzz Lightyear fired plasma shots.

"What if it all hits the cosmic dumpster?" Zurg continued to sing, his hand lowered, both hands in fists, every shot deflected. "And I lose?" Zurg kept moving forward. "What if the chaos proves to be the undoing of those around me?"

Matt-hun flew up to the ship leaving Warp to fly down toward the direction of the evil emperor Zurg.

"Tomorrow! I lift my chin up, and grin!"

The evil emperor Zurg paused in his tracks then opened his palms cornering him.

"I'm not afraid of you, Buzz Lightyear." Zurg said.

"Neither am I!" the evil Buzz Lightyear grabbed hold on to the claw that had the rock and struggled.

And with the last verse, his entire being breaking up, he aimed his free claw at the forehead.

"You're always a stardate,"

A blaze of blue fire erupted from his hand burning him down.

"AAAAWWWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAY."

The figure that had once been the evil Buzz Lightyear turned into a shell of what it had once been, bumpy, lifeless, full of fire, coal, and pain on their features. Zurg stretched his arms, cackling, laughing, finishing the last verse, a piece of his mind breaking, as Matt-hun flew into him carrying a box, then his optics glowed blue, then she flew out with the box glowing red as Zurg's figure remained still behind her then collapsed falling into pieces. Warp flew down then picked up the rock from among the rubble as Ida and the other space Rangers arrived.

"If you go after that Dreadnought," Warp clenched the blue glowing object in his hands, his hands on his wrist laser, stunning the group. "I am giving what is worse than what's on Venus, Space Rangers."

A rookie stepped forward and Warp acted, fast. He knocked out the rookies in five minutes. It was done effectively that they didn't have the time to response. Warp turned in the direction of Fairflight and XR then shook his head, gravely. He flew on after the direction of the dreadnought that vanished shortly afterwards.

"Brainpods, when did Zurg go to prison and be confined to a less lethal shell?"

It was a question, long after Warp left with a stolen Star Cruiser, Zurg in a box, wrapped neatly, neglecting to ask for the Evil Emperor's Toys. Surprisingly, they were no where to be found in the tower or where he had been kept. It was as if they were being hidden. She grimaced, there was a good reason, their role was not being found. It was the only way for history to unfold. Becoming lost toys.

"Thirty-five years after Buzz Lightyear's death." was the unanimous reply.

"Better have something for me to go after him and the necessary coordinates." Matt-hun eyed at the collection of brainpods.

The small group of brainpods exchanged a glance.

"We've been working on this for a short while for the coordinates, have the finest craft that won't be ripped apart, it's-"

"Indestructible?" Matt-hun asked.

"Unfortunately, it turns to dust after fifteen days-"

Matt-hun raised her eyebrows at once.

"-and it has the coordinates including the speed that one should go for the move. We've been preparing for a worse case scenario with that ugly ancient civilization."

"Sounds like a warship kind of making." Matt-hun noted lifting a brow.

"The material is made to be used in a very short period of time and in dire situations. Already has some skeleton crew."

"So it is a warship." Matt-hun said.

"It'll protect you." the other brainpod said.

"Better than a shuttle or a dreadnought ever could." Brainpod 13 agreed.

"Got it." Matt-hun bore a grin.

Matt-hun was handed the keys then turned away and ghosted through the wall as the brainpods watched her depart. The brainpods exchanged a glance, as another set their claw on the other's shoulder, gently giving it a squeeze. The brainpods returned toward the direction of the tower with the last one turning back toward the distant ship that was in the sky. If the brainpod could smile, they would have.

Quark awoke screaming that night clenching on to the hand me down toy, Woody Pride, tossing and turning, terrified, sobbing. The scream drew nana out of her cot drawing nana to his side. She held him close to her chest, letting his frightening screams dye down, until he were hiccuping. Chari and Hoichi were peeking out the corridor of the bedroom spotting that in the mean time Gamma had joined in the hug.

"U-u-uncle Warp-" he sobbed. "Died in my dream and it's all my fault!"

"How did he die?" it was a gentle question.

"A exploding moon!" Quark announced.

"Oh, a moon exploded?"

"And he were hit by cheese!"

"By cheese!"

"And it sawed him in half!"

"Cheese?!"

"It was a big wheel of cheese."

"Honey, dear, cheese is cheese," she patted on Quark's head. "you know what can rip his arm off?"

"What?"

"Tripping and falling on legos." She bore a big devious grin in response. "He dislocated a arm that way during a mission a couple years ago, only, they were much bigger. Nearly lost his arm because his arm fell into a hole, that needed to be pulled, to fix what Zurg did, can't remember exactly what he did that brought Warp to that hole and what it did."

"I love you, nana."

"I love you too." She backed out of the hug, seated on the edge of the bed, her hands in her lap. "Keep talking about that nightmare," the boy looked aside, his eyes searching back and forth, as if attempting to summon the memory. "Going away like whisps of smoke."

"It's getting hard to remember."

"it's fading away." Nana acknowledged, softly.

"Still hurts." He clenched his chest, briefly closing his eyes, pained. "It aches."

"The only way over the hurt in this house is talking about it like your scraped knee from yesterday."

"He died because of me and I died, too." The little shaken boy resumed talking, lowering his head. "I took him with me to the moon," he looked toward the toy cowboy that nana had given him only a few days ago. "stayed when it were said to be on the verge of destruction."

He looked down toward his small child like hands, seeing gloves, haunted, his eyes had the eyes of someone far older. Not a toddler.

"He would have left if I had flown away then and fired my way out." Quark started to cry, once again, his hands planted on his face. "I could't save him when he tried saving me." He shook his head, shaking his head, pained. "I couldn't. . . I couldn't."

Chari was the first to get out of bed then join the hug as did Hoichi and Oort. Quark cried and cried, getting the feelings off his chest, his figure shaken by sorrow as nana clung to the bundle of children. Nana squeezed her eyes close wrapped in a neat hug by the great grandchildren. It's time that we get Warp to adopt them all and have joint custody.

A/N listening over and over and over for Zurg's "Tomorrow!" scene to 2021 Annie really helped.

was the Darkmatter Rock of Ipseadan, but then it occurred to me that the darkmatter name on Ipseadan would be a negative thing to be associated to and also too much connection to Warp Darkmatter.
