Weiss-O'

"Gods, I hate that character. She's so random and I can't see anything."

"You just gotta be aggressive and stop me from setting up, sis."

"How am I supposed to stop you setting up if I can't SEE you setting up?"

Peeking over her book at the sister's, Blake chuckled to herself as she listened to what was a rather common argument between the pair. Though the game changed regularly, the arguments had remained the same for the past year. They would play together, Yang would win, and Ruby would be sore about it. It was still a rather strange sight to see. Usually the team leader always took loses graciously, congratulating the other person and talking excitedly about what had happened; but when playing against Yang, she was the complete opposite. She supposed that it was just a sibling thing, something that she was unable to understand, but she was also confident that Yang's smug taunts didn't help matters much.

"Then maybe we should take a trip to the opticians." The blonde grinned predictably. "Glasses might help you finally beat Pyrrha's marksman score in the training room."

"Crescent Rose is bolt action, Miló is Semi-automatic." Ruby replied pointedly. "Pyrrha has a huge advantage, eyesight has nothing to do with it."

"Then maybe it's your reaction time. You do feel a liiiiiittle slow tonight."

"Gah! Just hit rematch, will you!"

Dropping her book to her lap as the two returned to the fight, Blake watched with interest. Though Yang often won a majority of the time, the constant taunting usually gave Ruby enough incentive to claw out the occasional victory. Unfortunately, it was not the case that time. Three minutes later, the match ended with the same result as the last. Though Ruby did her best to manoeuvre her black-clad scythe wielder around, Yang's white-clad character was simply laying far too many items around the arena for the younger girl to handle. Eventually though, it had come to an end as Yang's character performed an incredibly uncomfortable looking crouch to dodge one of Ruby's blows and landed a finishing blow.

"Argh!" Ruby groaned in frustration. "What was that!"

"I think it's called a crouch."

"Crouch! That isn't a crouch. She's just sticking her butt in the air."

"Exactly." Yang chuckled. "It's the best kind of crouch."

"It's not even poss-"

As the two continued to argue, Blake heard the bathroom door open and watched Weiss walk out into the room. With her knee-length hair down and dressed in a long, white t-shirt and a pair of blue silk shorts, the girl already seemed ready for bed.

"Are those two still arguing?" She asked, scowling over at the pair.

"You expected anything different?"

"No." The girl replied smartly. "Though we do have a leader who has inspired me to hope for things to be better."

"Well I'm pretty sure this is a hopeless situation." Blake chuckled, earning a disappointed look from her friend.

"WHAT?"

"I fear you may be right?" The heiress smiled, pulling a book from a nearby shelf and walking over to her bed.

"A human body cannot bend like that, Yang. Not without a semblance."

"Please, we do much more than that." Yang replied.

"Oh so you could do it?" Ruby fired back.

"Ok, well not me. But… Blake." Blake let out a low sigh and Yang turned to face her. "You do all that Ninjary shit. You could do this, right?"

She looked at the screen to see the character doing the incredibly uncomfortable crouch that she had seen earlier. With both her legs completely straight and shoulder length apart, the woman was lifting her ass into the air while bending at the waist with her arms crossed on the floor in front of her. There was no denying that it was indeed a sexy pose, and she was sure it was intended to be, but while there was no doubt in her mind that she could do something close to it, the actual move that was being pulled off was far from what she was capable of.

"No." She declined firmly. "As Ruby said, my spine can't bend like that."

"Hah!" Ruby cheered victoriously. "See! I bet even Weiss couldn't do it."

"Please do not drag me into this." Weiss responded from her bed.

"Come on, Weiss." The reaper pleaded, her silver eyes taking on the usual puppy dog quality they always did when trying to persuade someone. "You've just gotta tell Yang you can't do it."

"You know they won't shut up 'till they sort this out." Blake reasoned.

A small sigh left the heiress, and she pinched the bridge of her nose. "Fine. If it will make you leave me alone. Let me look."

Getting up from her bed and dumping her book on Blake's bed, she walked over to the holoscreen and inspected the character Yang was pointing at, shifting her body from side to side as she did. After a few seconds she pulled away and gave a small shrug.

"It looks incredibly impractical." The girl answered and moved back over to her bed. "But it wouldn't be difficult."

"Wha-"

"Bullshit!" Yang fired back.

"Exactl-" The redhead rounded on her sister. "Wait, I thought you said it couldn't be done."

"I was being contradictory."

"Contrarian." Blake corrected her.

"Yes, that." The blonde gave her a thumbs up before rounding on Weiss. "You're telling me you could do that pose?"

"Yes." Weiss replied simply.

"Well I don't believe you." Yang countered.

"Me either." Ruby agreed.

"Maybe she should prove it." Blake chimed in, earning a suspicious look from her friend. "What? You seem sure you can, they seem sure you can't. Easiest way to prove them wrong is to do it."

"Yes, and I'm sure that is the only reason you would all like me to do such a depraved pose."

"Not me." Ruby shook her head earnestly. "You're my partner. That would be weird."

"And I'm dating Melanie." Yang replied.

"I won't deny it." Blake admitted uncaringly.

"Gods, you're such a pervert." Yang guffawed, picking up a pillow and tossing it at her. Dodging it was effortless. "Go back to your books."

Sticking out her tongue at her partner, they all looked back to the centre of the room where Weiss was stood with her arms crossed. Finger tapping against her upper arm, Blake could tell the girl was thinking about it.

"Come on, Weiss." Yang continued. "Help me win this thing."

"Hey!" Ruby poked her. "You just admitted that you didn't think someone could do it."

"So,? That wasn't the…"

"Yes it was."

"Nuh uh."

"Alright!" Weiss snapped, causing the squabbling sisters to fall silent. "If it will shut you both up so I can enjoy my book in peace, then fine."

Fixing them both with a glare, Weiss dropped to her knees and leaned forward. Crossing her arms in front of her and resting her chin on her forearms, she pulled her knees inwards slightly and separated them before effortlessly straightening out her legs, pushing her rear into the air and completing the pose. It had taken her less than a few seconds, and almost no difficulty at all, to perfectly mimic the pose the two girls had been arguing over.

As uncomfortable as the position looked, Blake couldn't help but admire her friend's body. Her long, toned legs exposed by the shorts and showing off the muscles she had sculpted through years of training. The tight, albeit small, swell of her cheeks. Her flat stomach slightly peaking out as the shirt rose up slightly. The way her hair spilled out on the floor around her and made the room look as if it were carpeting in snow. It all looked incredible. She looked incredible.

"See," the posing girl said without any sign of strain, "easy."

"Godsdamn." Yang exclaimed with a low whistle.

"That's so cool." Ruby added.

"Yes, well…" The girl unfolded her arms and pushed herself back up into a standing position. "You all seem to forget that I am a gymnast as well as a dancer, a singer, and a huntress. Something you all should be practising too."

A smug look was sent towards the sisters, and they both let out a small groan.

"Now, can I go back to my book?"

"Yes, yes." Yang replied with a dismissive and disgruntled wave. "Should've just kept bluffing."

Seeing Ruby stick her tongue out at her sister as they returned to the holoscreen, Blake picked up Weiss' book and gently tossed it over to her.

"One day they will learn that I always win." The girl remarked with a sly grin, snatching the book out of midair. "Did you enjoy the show?"

"Very much so." Blake smirked. "Always love to see them proven wrong."

"Mhm." There was a disbelieving tone to her friend's voice. "I am sure that is all you enjoyed seeing."

Blake definitely caught the teasing smile that pulled at Weiss' lips as she turned around, and felt a similar one pull at her own as watched the girl walk away. Returning to her own book as Ruby and Yang looked for a new game to play, she let the image of what had just happened replay in her head.

Maybe Ruby and Yang's bickering isn't so bad after all, she thought to herself.
