September 28, 1998. Raccoon City, Colorado. Night.

It was pouring rain in Raccoon City. The town of Raccoon City used to be a populous city filled with many people. There used to be this pharmaceutical company named the Umbrella Corporation who used to manufacture medicine and medical supplies to the various citizens of Raccoon City. It used to be one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies out there. Then one day, the Umbrella Corporation unleashed a virus called the T-Virus out into the world, turning the once human friendly citizens of Raccoon City into zombies you would see in a George A Romero movie. All of the uninfected people of Raccoon City were evacuated from the city. It was abandoned for many years.

That was until a bravo team called S.T.A.R.S. (Special Tactics and Rescue Services) were sent to a place called the Spencer Mansion that was located in the outskirts of Raccoon City. The Spencer Mansion was a mansion that was built George Trevor of Trevor & Chamberlain and completed in 1967 as a private mansion for Dr. Oswell E. Spencer, Earl Spencer, who himself later marketed it as a company retreat for Umbrella Pharmaceuticals employees. In reality, the mansion was used as a façade to hide an illegal bioweapons research operation being conducted in the mountains.

Two S.T.A.R.S. members; Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine went inside of the Spencer Mansion. They found a whole bunch of zombies hiding in the mansion. They killed all of the zombies. They eventually found a secret underground facility that was funded by the Umbrella Corps hiding underneath the Spencer Mansion. After activating the lab's self-destruct system, Chris and Jill reaches the heliport and manages to contact Brad for extraction, at which point they both may be confronted by Tyrant one last time. Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield escaped from the Spencer Mansion along with Barry. That was 2 months ago.

In the middle of Raccoon City, there was a male anthropomorphic raccoon laying on the concrete ground. The raccoon had on all blue clothing: blue hat, blue shirt, and blue boots. A weird shaped cane layed beside him. The raccoon's name was Sylvester "Sly" Cooper. He was a master thief who came from another world. A world that was populated by anthropomorphic animals instead of humans. Sly Cooper, along with his two best friends, a turtle named Bentley and a hippo named Murray, along with a vixen Interpol agent named Carmelita Fox went on a time travel journey to save Sly's ancestors from being wiped from existence. They traveled through different points in time, from Feudal Japan to Ancient Arabia. The Cooper Gang dealt with a mysterious villain named Cyrille LeParadox, a skunk who was intent with fucking up the Cooper Clan's history, no matter how dire it may be. Sly and LeParadox fought with one another on top of a blimp that was just about destroyed.

Before Sly could comprehend the situation further, he was teleported from a blimp in Paris, France in his world to Raccoon City in the human world. Sly slowly woke up. It was pitch black out. It was raining pretty hard. Sly looked around him. There was no one there. Absolutely no one. Sly felt scared. He called out for anybody to respond to him. When the raccoon received no response, he just decided to walk around the city. Maybe Sly would find something open at this time of night. He saw the Raccoon City Police Department nearby. He walked up to a courtyard. He saw a human girl standing in the courtyard. The girl had light brown hair that was tied behind her head. She wore a red leather coat over some pants. She had an pistol out.

This woman's name was Claire Redfield. Claire was the sister of a S.T.A.R.S. member named Chris Redfield, a man who along with another S.T.A.R.S. member Jill Valentine investigated the Spencer Mansion on the outskirts of Raccoon City a few months ago. Chris and Jill were presumably reported to be missing. Claire was trying to look for her brother to see if he was in Raccoon City. That was when she met a rookie Raccoon Police Department officer who on the first day of his job. They didn't really get to talk to each other that much.

Sly walked over to the courtyard. He saw Claire. He climbed over the fence effortlessly like it was nothing. Sly scared the shit out of Claire. She aimed her handgun at the raccoon. The raccoon backed away form Claire.

"Woah there. Easy now. I'm not here to hurt you or anything." the raccoon said to the human girl.

"Who the hell are you?" Claire asked the raccoon.

"My name is Sylvester Cooper. Most people call me Sly." the raccoon said to Claire. Claire was a bit surprised to hear a raccoon speak to her. She'd only heard animals talking in Saturday Morning Cartoons from Hanna-Barbera that she used to watch as a little kid. She didn't expect to hear a raccoon speak to her in the flesh. It was surreal.

"You can talk?" Claire asked Sly.

"Of course I can talk. Why wouldn't I be able to talk?" Sly said to Claire.

"Animals don't usually talk in real life. Nor do they stand on two feet like humans do." Claire said.

"Point taken." Sly said.

"My name is Claire. Claire Redfield." the woman in the red coat said to the raccoon.

"Can we talk indoors someplace? My fur is getting soaken wet out here in the rain." Sly said to Claire.

"Sure." Claire said.

Claire and Sly started walking. They got out of the courtyard. They started walking toward the Raccoon City Police Department. There zombies roaming around this area. Zombies that used to be normal people, if it weren't for a giant pharmaceutical company named Umbrella who hadn't released a deadly virus out into the city. The T-Virus turned the normal citizens of Raccoon City into zombified creatures that were beyond salvation. They had no thoughts or feelings of any sort. All they knew what to do was bite people. Luckilly Claire came prepared. She had a gun on her; an SLS-60 pistol that shot six rounds. She could use it to blow a zombie's head off.

There were a bunch of zombies heading toward Claire and Sly. Claire took out her gin and shot the zombies in the head. There were 2 of them. Sly was shocked upon seeing Claire Redfield killing zombies with a gun. He'd never seen zombies before, never even heard of them. Once Claire got rid of all of the zombies, she and Sly headed toward the Raccoon City Police Department. They both headed inside. The inside of the main hall of the police department was nice. it had a desk. It had a statue which held three holes that were for medallions. There were two sets of stairs that lead to the upper floors of the police station. There was a receptionist area. Sly and Claire began to talk to each other.

"So, where are you from, Sly?" Claire asked the raccoon.

"I'm from Paris, France." Sly said.

"You came form halfway around the world?" Claire questioned.

"Yeah." Sly said. "Where am I?"

"Raccoon City." Claire Redfield said.

"Why is it called Raccoon City?" Sly asked Claire.

"I don't know and quite frankly I don't care. All I'm doing is looking for my brother Chris." Claire said.

The raccoon and the human woman continued to explore the Raccoon City Police Department. They would soon encounter zombies. The raccoon thief's world was about to be turned upside down in a terrifying way.
