Blazepanzer here...and...yeah...the rewrite for Archery Team Antics is finally ready! Or...the first chapter anyways. I didn't like how sloppy many of my older fan-fictions were turning out, so I decided to take them down and rewrite them. I'm also just uploading when I can from now on, so no set upload dates. I'd always end up uploading stories and chapters on days not the tenth or fifteenth.
Real quick, this story is from now on going to be separate from Her Reluctance, a different take on the original which was more or less a prequel to Her Reluctance. The events of the original Archery Team Antics will remain in the new "Her Reluctance" Fanfic, so they won't be lost.
Anyways, I've got a couple of other projects I'm almost ready to release with, two new Girls und Panzer fan-fictions, as well as the Rewrites for "Her Reluctance" and "The Quiet Life." Consider this...a bit of an appetizer for the new content.
Anyways, enjoy! :Note: Blazepanzer does not own Girls und Panzer!
Takio closed her eyes. Well...the club is shut down, and it's not on here anyways, she mused, before letting out a small sigh and opting to chose the Archery Club as her elective. Not my first choice...she frowned. But none of the other clubs interest me.
Standing up, Takio let out a small sigh, and turned in her paper, before returning to her seat. "Wonder what the others will pick?" she whispered.
Hanoashi let out a small smile as she picked Archery. Well, it's not Sensado, but personally I think Archery is a good course. Besides, I've always admired Nishmari's archery team. I just hope that I can learn how to fire arrows that gracefully.
Glancing at her side, she noticed a girl with black hair and blue eyes eyeing up her paper, before glancing away and scribbling her mark on Archery as well. Huh, I wonder what that is all about? Is she indecisive about what club to join? Not that I mind, I haven't exactly made any friends here given...
She shook her head. You're lucky enough to be attending here on a full scholarship! She scolded herself. Yes, Father is dead and he's been deceased for two months now, but you're married now and his family insist on you participating in a girl's academy, so get over it! Make some friends, stop being such a damn glum all the time!
Rising up she walked up to the girl. "So, you're joining Archery too?" she asked politely.
"Ehh! You saw?" The girl gasped.
Hanoashi shrugged. "Nothing to be embarrassed bout."
The girl glanced downward. "Sorry...it's just that...all of my friends want to do different things and I...wanted to do Archery. But...I'm a bit nervous about it, so I was wondering if anyone else was choosing it."
"Hey, I get it," Hanoashi smiled indulgently. "Would...you like to be my friend?" she added.
"Really?" she gasped, smiling.
Hanoashi nodded. "My name's Hanoashi Kato...er...Hanoashi Nishisumi."
"Nishisumi...Nishisumi...I've heard of that name somewhere before..." Ayumi mused.
"I...uh...married into the family. It was...one-sided, but..." Hanoashi trailed off, not too sure of how to explain it.
"You didn't want to get married?" Ayumi mused.
Hanoashi shook her head. "No...it's not that, in fact being a stay at home spouse and mother is my dream job. It's...just that I kinda wanted to choose who I'd be married too...and it was somewhat of a pity marriage."
" Pity marriage?"
Hanoashi shrugged. "My husband...he took pity on me when he overheard me telling his mother that I had no where to go and suggested that he'd be willing to marry me. I accepted, and one thing led to another."
"You're not wearing a ring," She noticed.
Hanoashi shrugged. "Don't like the sight or felling of something stuck on my hands or fingers, so I opt not to wear one. He understands."
"Alright class, it's time to begin!"
Hanoashi bowed gently before turning to her desk.
Rose glanced out the window. I wonder how Saki is doing? I mean, it's great that she has so many friends, but from what she tells me, they all want to join different clubs.
Sighing, Rose turned her attention to her work, though she couldn't help but worry about her sister. Actually, Saki was Rose's second cousin, but her parents died in a shooting, so as a result her parents took her in. Unfortunately, that's when Saki had started becoming quiet.
Not that she could blame her since Saki had spend several days recovering from a gunshot would. Thankfully, it was mostly shrapnel damage, but that very same bullet had been the one to take her father. In the past Saki had been quite the cheerful kid, very talkative. But now...Rose was about the only one she'd talk with much.
I just hope I can make some friends today, Saki prayed. Me and sister.
Hanoashi sighed as she laid back in her desk. She had finished her work and checked it over twice, something she had become very efficient in since her dream career, aside from being a wife, was to become a High School English Teacher.
"Hanoashi, would you mind sharing the briefing about Ooarai since everyone else is done with Math homework?"
"Yes Sensei," Hanoashi rose, and began to speak.
Okay...Ooarai was founded in 1949. Initially, she had been designed as a agricultural/Sensado Hybrid Academy, but due to Nishmari eventually adopting it's own landbaised High School and the growing Ooarai population facilitating the need to separate the male and female students, it lost a lot of it's student body, and dropped it's Sensado Academy in 1991, selling it's twenty tanks. While forbidden from using it's full arsenal due to the boy's exclusion rule, the girls who participated in those matches where considered some of the most fearsome on the field in the day. Today, Ooarai has six main areas of education,With a maximum capacity of 1,200 in the General studies, 800 in the Navel Studies, 750 in the Engineering studies, 500 in the Nursing studies, 500 in the agricultural studies, 300 in the Fashion Studies, and 200 in the Fishery Studies, for a rough total of 4,250 students. Furthermore, Ooarai gives out twenty full-pay scholarships for those in poor families."
Hanoashi paused a moment before continuing. "Those students who perform well may be elected to join the Intelligence or the Operations department. Those who join the Intelligent department include Hall monitors, and Student investigators. Those joining the Operations course may be elected to join as members of the Student council, club presidents, Supply, or Teacher's Aid.
Anyone who joins the Engineer, Navel, Agriculture, or Fisheries Studies will have their school tuition waved as part of the government initiate of 1999, article five section two. Additionally, as they entail working for the academy, they will receive accommodation according to their apartment, and furthermore a small bonus check for work earned. Those who work in the intelligence or Operations department will receive a small check for time served depending on the work.
Students will have a choice between a short sleeve or a long sleeve uniform, and may wear which one they choose. Socks must be white or black. Stockings may match the skin tone of the wearer or a shade of brown. No other additions or alterations to the uniform are acceptable. Jewelry outside of a wedding ring is strictly disavowed. Girls may wear a bandanna, hair-clips, or ribbon in their hair.
All students will save those with scholarships must pass a test on this material prior to final admittance. Those with Scholarships will be asked to recite this for a grade at some point during their first year."
"Very good Hanoashi, very good. Practically verbatim too..."
"Th...Thank you Sensei," Hanoashi bowed, blushing slightly at the praise, though she was also proud of herself.
Just then the lunch bell rang. "Alright class, you may head on to eat, just make sure you're back on time."
"Mind if we eat together, you did ask if we can become friends after-all," the Black haired girl she was talking with before class walked up.
"Sure," Hanoashi smiled.
"Oh...my name is Ayumi Yamagou," the girl bowed.
"It's nice to be friends with you Yamagou-san," Hanoashi bowed.
"Oh...you can call me by my first name if you want," Ayumi smiled.
"Thanks, likewise you can use mine," Hanoashi smiled in return as they began to walk with her.
"You know...I never reme..." Ayumi began, but a third girl gave Hanoashi a quick shove.
"No one like a show off," the girl growled, before walking off.
"What's her problem?" Ayumi hissed under her breath, not amused.
Hanoashi for her part just stared at her, a tad bit frightened. The last thing she wanted was any kind of trouble.
"You alright Hanoashi-san?" Ayumi asked, gazing at her in concern.
Snap out of it! You not only commanded a tank, but a school's entire Sensado team in middle school! What's a little push to you? Hanoashi scolded herself, before nodding gently. "I...I'm fine, just a tad surprised is all." Pausing, the took a deep breath. "You where saying?"
"Oh...right, I never remembered where I heard your last name before...Nishisumi right?
Hanoashi nodded. "The Nishisumi school is renowned for it's Sensado program. My husband so happens to be the only son of Shiho Nishisumi, the Headmaster and Sensado instructor of Kuromorimine academy.
"Wow! So you're married to the inheritor of the school?" Ayumi gasped.
"No...I'm not," Hanoashi shook her head.
"But...you said that..." Ayumi trailed off, unsure of how to phrase her next words.
"Haru is indeed Shiho's oldest child," Hanoashi explained. "But...males don't have much in the Nishisumi family, it's a Matriarchy. A totalitarian Matriarchy. And because of that, Haru doesn't really have much of an inheritance or anything to do with the academy."
"But I'm guessing it must have been an arranged marriage, right?" Ayumi asked.
Hanoashi nodded. "All Nishisumi have arranged marriages, males or females. As far as why she decided to choose me for her son...well...there's two reasons."
"Which is?" Ayumi asked, growing curiously.
"Well...I don't really talk about the first one. It's not bad, mind you, I actually did something really...good for her youngest daughter, but I was just doing what anyone should have done in that situation."
"And the second?" Ayumi asked.
"I...have prior Sensado experience," Hanoashi shrugged. "Barely." she added with a small hiss.
"You...don't seem to like Sensado then," Ayumi guessed.
"The sport? It's fine. But...there was a boy I liked back at Nishmari, but he choose another. Kinda joined Sensado to get his attention if you will. But the real reason why I hissed the word barely is because the Nishisumi don't have much stock in the co-ed league. Shiho made it very clear that she views my participation in the co-ed league no different than someone who binge-play's world of tanks."
"What's world of tanks?" Ayumi asked gently.
"A computer game," Hanoashi sighed.
"That's awful!" Ayumi gasped. "I mean...I don't know much about Sensado other than the fact it involves simulated tank combat, but it must have been tough, right? What...what role did you have?"
"I was a driver in my first year," Hanoashi admitted. "We didn't get to do too much because the first year, you cannot participate in the official tournaments, and you couldn't even do anything in the tanks for the first six months. Safety training and such."
"Did...you quit after your first year?" Ayumi asked as they entered the lunch room.
Hanoashi just laughed. "Nope, they placed me in command of a T-50 light tank at the end of the year, then the senors elected to make me the overall team commander the year after. Although it was only because our Deputy and Vice commanders where moving to different towns. I...was third best. Didn't do too well in my first year as team commander, but I came away with a championship in my last year."
"Wow, so you're a champion?" Ayumi gasped. "That's amazing!"
Hanoashi smiled a bit. "Yeah...I'm kinda guessing that's the whole reason I got this scholarship to Ooarai."
"But...surely if you're marrying into the Nishisumi family, Shiho would want you to go to an academy with a Sensado team, right?"
Hanoashi shrugged. "Upholding the family name...that did cross her mind, or so she told me. Some discussions were held about me going to Anzio or Koala academy." Hanoashi paused. "Salmon lunch please," she ordered.
"So...what happened?" Ayumi asked as she ordered a Rice and crisp lunch.
"Basically, Anzio wanted to know if I can cook. Which I can...a little," Hanoashi sighed. "But they wouldn't accept me if I couldn't cook complicated foods." Hanoashi laughed sarcastically. "I'd swear that academy must have stomachs for brains."
"And Koala?"
"Well...Shiho wanted me to join as Vice commander. You don't get a Deputy commander unless you have more than ten tanks with crews, which Koala has in terms of tanks, but not crews.
"And?"
"Well...let's just say they didn't want to give up their commander," Hanoashi smiled as she took her tray, quietly thanking the lady.
"Well...that makes sense, I mean who'd want to give up her command," Ayumi began as she also retrieved her tray and began to follow Hanoashi to an empty seat.
"They're commander is a literal Koala," Hanoashi muttered.
"Wait...what?" Ayumi gasped.
"Yeah...tell me about it," Hanoashi muttered as she clasped her hands together. "Thanks for the food."
"But...that's...you must be mistaken," Ayumi gaped, taking a bite of rice.
Hanoashi let out a small chuckle. "I'm not kidding," she then took a bite of her salmon.
"But...that's...you surely must mean the commander was fat...right? Or hairy...or had a really large nose..."
"Ayumi...when I said a literal Koala, I wasn't speaking in metaphors. As much as I'd prefer to be," Hanoashi remarked seriously.
"But aren't Koala's dangerous?" Ayumi gaped, her blue eyes round with chock.
Hanoashi shrugged. "Sensado is dangerous. Anyways, at that time I either had to mail in my acceptance for the scholarship or forfeit it, and not wanting to be a burden to my new family, I sent it in and here I am."
"But if the Nishisumi are so prestigious surely they'd want you to attend a better academy, right?" Ayumi asked as she took another bite.
Hanoashi shrugged. "Remember, Nishisumi Males virtually have no inheritance, so as far as I'm concerned, it's not a big issue. Besides, My father was basically living on fumes in terms of his health and savings, so I'm more or less used to living poor."
"Oh...I'm sorry," Ayumi glanced down, clearly feeling sorry for her.
"Don't worry about it my friend, I mean sure, I miss my dad, but he did everything for me. And sure, not really knowing the man I married kinda sucks too, but he's been very kind to me, and it's what I've always wanted more or less.
Takio let out a quiet smile as the bell rang. It had been three days since she had filled out her paper, and now she was going to get to meet with the Archery team for the first time.
She wasn't nervous in the slightest. Rather, she felt excited. The more she had studied Archery and watched it's competitions, the more energized she felt about it. The more she felt that, dispute her previous love for Volleyball, she'd be satisfied in archery.
Still...the one part that saddened her was that she'd no longer be able to hang out with her friends like before. They had all ended up going to Ooarai due to budget constraints and their parents desire for their kids to graduate from a School ship as apposed to the land schools. Apparently a School ship graduation was worth twice as much as a land schools, or so she heard.
But now...given that Ooarai had disbanded it's volleyball team, and that she and her friends had chosen different clubs, that was impossible. For starters, they'd be at their chosen club for most of the evening, and what was left would be taken up largely by homework. There was the weekend, but she'd probably be asked to hang out with her club members, or at least the first years would probably hang out, and the last thing Takio wanted to do is to shun her new club-mates for the sake of old friends.
No matter how much that may hurt.
She quickly packed up and helped with the cleaning. Just because her class was abuzz with excitement over getting to meet their new club mates didn't mean they could neglect their duties. Not that it took long, everyone was so excited that they tackled cleaning with vigor.
Perhaps a little to much vigor for Hanoashi and Ayumi in the classroom several classes down, given they mostly just left. Those two just shook their heads, and began cleaning class.
Ayumi let out a small mutter. "I don't mind cleaning, but this is utterly ridiculous."
"Too right. Believe me, the other's will be hearing bout this tomorrow," their Sensei agreed as she began to help.
"It's not too bad for me," Hanoashi smiled as she cleaned diligently, a quiet smiled on her face.
"Er...what?" Ayumi gaped at her.
"I find house chores rather...fun," Hanoashi admitted sheepishly. To be honest, I'd have kinda liked to work part time until my first child...but..." she shrugged before returning to cleaning.
"Why don't you though?" Ayumi asked out of curiosity.
"Well...I need to focus mostly on school for the most part," Hanoashi shrugged. "That, and Haru, my husband, want's me to focus on being a housewife and mother when the time comes."
"That...sounds a bit controlling," her Sensei pointed out in concern.
"He's far from controlling," Hanoashi countered. "It's just that he want's someone who's good around the house and that enjoys housework. Aside from cooking complex meals, I'm perfect for the job, so I fit the bill so to speak."
"Well...if you say so," Her Sensei went back to cleaning.
Rose glanced around, still nervous. "It seems as though two of our club-mates aren't here yet." she noted.
A rather tall girl patted Rose's shoulder gently. "Like I told you, there's nothing to worry about."
"I guess Rikona...still..." Rose trailed off, unsure.
"I think I saw some of the students running off right after class. Perhaps they where among them and they have to pay punishment." Takio noted.
"You really think so Takio?" Rikona asked.
Takio shrugged. "That, or they stayed behind like responsible students and are cleaning class by themselves."
"Well...we'll wait ten more minutes, and if they don't show up after that, then we'll have to give them a demerit," their senor and club president, Samori, muttered. "Which isn't good considering Yuzu wants us to get you five tournament ready by the first half of the year."
"Why was that again?" Rikona asked.
"Apparently the ministry of education wants to double Ooarai's student capacity next year in light of some of the other academies closing down. But...they want to test us to see if we're really worthy, and for us that test is to see if we can greatly improve our tournament prowess."
"I heard a rumor that they considered restarting their Sensado program, right?" Rose asked.
"Considered, yes," Samori nodded. "But the only tanks we found that we could actually use were the Panzer IV, Porsche Tiger, M-3 lee, and a Type 3 Chi-nu. And you cannot enter the tournament with only four tanks. Furthermore, it wasn't economical to fix the tanks anyways, giving it'd take a lot of money, even with the town of Ooarai agreeing to pay 50% to bring the tanks back."
"What about selling the Porsche Tiger? They're quite expensive, right?" Rikona asked.
"We did sell it," Samori admitted. "But they had to pay for the expense of bringing it out of storage, and that mostly ate what we made out of the Panzer IV's sale. Truth be told, we had originally offered to exchange the Tiger with Shiho Nishisumi in exchange for three German tanks and the restoration cost of the other tanks we have, up to four in case we found another in repairable condition, but she already had a Porsche Tiger and said one per collector was more than enough. Something about honor among Tank collectors when it came to rare tanks like the Porsche. Hence our decision ultimately not to revive the Sensado team."
"Bummer, I'd have really like to been on a Sensado team again," Rose sighed.
"Me too," a new voice joined them.
"Sorry we're late," a second voice added apologetically.
Rikona turned around, her hart skimping a beat as she spotted the ginger haired Irish girl. Is it her? She thought excitedly.
"The whole class ran off ahead of us and left us to clean up," the black haired girl explained.
"That's kinda messed up," Samori muttered. "Anyways, I'm Samori Natchukanoishui. Just...call me Samori-Sempi or Samori-San if you like. I want our club to be serious about safety and work, but like a family if you will. Warm and friendly."
"Oh...It's nice to meet you," the ginger girl bowed gently. "My name is Hanoashi Nishisumi."
"Ayumi Yamagou," the black haired girl likewise bowed.
Okay...so she's Irish, her first name is Hanoashi...But her last name is Nishisumi. But...perhaps there is a chance...Rikona nodded her head in determination. "Um...Hanoashi, you wouldn't happen to be from the Katoni family, right?"
Hanoashi's eyes widened. "How'd you know?" she gasped, clearly surprised.
"I'm you're Cousin...Rikona," Rikona admitted.
Hanoashi took a step back, looking quite fearful and sad.
"Hanoashi...I've always wanted to meet you, but my father wouldn't let me before..." Rikona trailed off, not too sure of how to continue.
"The other Matsumino spoke ill of me and my father. Said my mother was no Matsumino for marrying him...why...why..." Hanoashi broke down, crying.
Ayumi glanced between the two, realizing that they had some similarity. Hanoashi was clearly Irish, with her dark green eyes, ginger hair, and slightly light reddish skin tone and freckles. Rikona looked mostly dutch, though she could see a few subtle Japanese features on her. But she had a similar eye structure, though Rikona's eye color was a light lime green and her hair was a darker shade of medium brown.
"Hanoashi...Cousin...I want to know you," Rikona steeped forward cautiously.
Hanoashi gazed at her, clearly uncertain about Rikona's offer, but she nodded after a breif moment, a small smile forming on her face. She simply extended her hand in response.
Rikona took it gingerly, smiling. "Why are you so afraid of me?" she asked gently.
Hanoashi simply hugged her in response. "I...It's just that you're the first from my mother's side of the family who really cared about me. I mean, mother cared deeply about me and all...but the others...and...I never knew you existed." she explained, tears falling down her cheeks.
Rikona gently wrapped her arms around the Irish girl. "Don't cry cousin...I'm here for you. And I'll never abandon you, no mater what the others Matsumino think."
"Th...thanks," Hanoashi whispered. After a bit they separated, Hanoashi whipping her tears. "Sorry...it's just..."
"I know cousin...I know," Rikona whispered.
"Will your dad be alright with us hanging out though...I mean they treated me rather vilely and I don't want them hating you too," Hanoashi asked, the uncertainty clouding her eyes again.
"Father..." Rikona glanced away. "He's alright with us hanging out...but he..." she sighed. "He said that I'm an adult now and that he doesn't care if I find and hang out with you."
"But he wasn't that kind about it, was he?" Hanoashi asked bitterly.
Rikona sighed. "I'm sorry..."
"No, don't be. I...I'm glad to have someone in my blood family I can talk to. Every since father died two months ago..."
"Wait...two months ago?" Rikona gasped, shocked.
Hanoashi nodded. Yeah...he...scummed to damage from his smoke inhalation."
"Hanoashi...I was...was told he died with your mother," Rikona whispered.
"No...mother died from third agreed burns when I was six. I...saw it...so much damage..." Hanoashi's body shook at the memory. "I...I'm guessing the others said something otherwise."
"Yeah...something like that..." Rikona glanced away in shame.
"Well, it seems as though you two have some catching up to do," Samori chuckled. "But for now, we really ought to be getting to the club, after all we've got to get your student uniforms ready given our club wears a special Ooarai uniform."
"Special Ooarai uniform?" Hanoashi asked, curious.
"It seems as though some of the clubs wear special uniforms," Takio smiled.
"Neat," Rose gasped.
"So...is the uniform just for the club or the entire school day?" Rikona asked.
Samori just chuckled. "For the school day if you like," she admitted. "Of course you can just wear it in the club if you want to, but most of us tend to wear it school-round. One of the perks of being in a uniformed club as we call it."
"So, I'm guessing not all of the clubs have uniforms?" Rose asked.
Samori shook her head. "No, just us, the Akido, Kendo, and Ninja clubs," she paused, sighing. "The Volleyball club did have it's own uniform...but...it was disbanded due to a steroid scandal last year."
Takio glanced down sadly. "That's the club I wanted to join..." she trailed off, before glancing upward. "But to be honest I've been really looking forward to Archery the more I learn about the sport!" she added, sounding more cheerful.
"It's a good sport," Samori smiled indulgently. "Just as long as you work hard, do your best, and stick to the safety regulations.
"Right' we're at the supply depot, it'll be a bit before it's our turn, and then we'll head on over and meet our club-mates." Samori informed after they had walked for a few minutes.
"So, what are the uniforms like?" Hanoashi asked.
"Basically what I'm wearing. There's little difference between this and what we wear during our practice. You'll be starting out with the ole club scout bows, but once you get that down you'll be allowed to pick a disciple."
Hanoashi got a good look at the uniform, it was a mid-sleeve dress tunic, with what looked like a plastic chest guard. It kinda reminded her a bit of the uniform Akagi wore in the Kancollie collection Anime she watched with Haru.
"Discipline?" Rikona asked, tipping her head curiously.
Samori nodded. "There's four different disciplines you can choose from, Crossbow, Compound, Recurve, and Longbow. Suffice it to say, you'll be allowed to try out each kind before you have to pick, though you still have to prove yourself with the cub scouts first. But it's not too hard."
"Sounds like a lot too chose from," Hanoashi remarked.
"Well, it's just four, but you'll get to try them out before you have to make your final decision," Samori smiled. "Now, it looks like it's our turn, just go in two at a time."
Hanoashi shuffled up to Rikona, feeling more comfortable with going in with her.
"So, you've got a nickname," Rikona smiled as she nodded and walked into the measuring room with her.
"Blaze. For my Red...now Ginger hair. Used to hate it, but now I love it." Hanoashi smiled. "You?"
"Meh, not really," Rikona shrugged.
"Huh," Hanoashi mused as her bust was measured. "Brest size DD huh?" The supply girl muttered.
"Double G cup, Nice," The girl who was measuring Rikona smirked as she got done with her measurements. "Betcha get a lot of guys round ya with those honkers, huh?"
Rikona just sighed.
Hanoashi shot her a sympathetic glance. Guess you've dealt with that huh? Thankfully, the co-ed academies are less likely to mess with that, but the non-Sensado male academies are...lustful. Ten dimes the girls around here are too.
"Right ladies, It'll take about a couple of days for your uniforms to come in, you may opt to wear them in school or switch out as you need to. You'll get three, so yeah. And if they don't fit, let us know right away!" One of the girls called.
"Thank you very much," Hanoashi bowed, before following Rikona out of the room.
To her surprise, she noticed that the actual amount of students seemed to have increased.
"Seems like more joined Archery," Rikona noted.
"Everyone here?" Hanoashi inquired.
"Well, we're the first to get our uniforms, so yeah," Rikona shrugged.
Awesome," Hanoahsi whispered.
"Right," Samori smiled. "Now, as for what you'll be doing tonight...You'll be having a sleep over with some of your teammates!"
Hanoashi found herself quite surprised at this. A sleepover! Cool, but why...oh...to get to know our new teammates. I remember suggesting the same thing when we got new Sensado Strudents.
"Welp, team up with whomever you like...although considering Hanoashi and Rikona just discovered each other, I kinda think it'd be best for just those two for tonight! Anyways, have fun!"
Hanoashi glanced at her older cousin. "So...your house or mine?" She didn't notice that Rikona had a slight look of worry on her face for a brief second.
"Your place," Rikona smiled.
"Sure! I...uh...only have one bed but I have several sleeping bags, I could use one and you the bed."
Rikona shook her head. "I actually kinda like sleeping on the floor, so let's both use a bag. If...that's alright?"
Hanoashi smiled indulgently. "Sure!" the ginger haired girl could feel herself getting more and more excited by the moment. I get to have a sleep-over with my cousin!
