The Hidden Twin Chapter Two
Aubrey flinched, waiting for the curse to hit her, but she felt nothing. Cautiously, she opened her eyes. "No!" She cried. A boy with the same dark hair as Sammy fell into a heap in front of her. "Sammy?"
Katie stared, open-mouthed as a boy charged and in the last second, dove in front of the killing curse. He looked just like Sammy.
Sammy struggled against the bonds Voldemort had put him in, and finally broke free. Voldemort had collapsed when the killing curse hit the one who looked just like him. Another innocent death. His mind refused to think logically. Too much blood on your hands. Sammy just sat down and began to sob quietly.
Lily ran over to Aubrey and began to reassure the terrified girl. James went to Sammy to see what happened. They all got together, and looked at the body that had saved Aubrey.
Voldemort woke up and looked impressed, he had finally defeated Potter.
The members of Hogwarts were confused as to who had died. Professor Sprout was to first to know. She jumped to her feet and sprinted forward, ignoring the people trying to hold her back, with all the Hufflepuff trailing behind. Ernie got one look at the body, and screamed in rage.
"Okay, Voldy. You asked for it. This has just gotten personal." Ernie charged, filled by all the Hufflepuffs and Professor Sprout. Only Justin Finch-Fletchy stayed behind.
"What was it that Harry said. Oh, yeah. Love, Friendship, Family, any sort of emotion." Justin grabbed Harry's hand.
"Harry, if you're still there, or can hear me, we need you. Come back, okay."
Minerva McGonnagal stepped up. "Justin, he's dead. Nothing can bring him back."
"Prove it." Everyone looked in shock. A Hufflepuff, talking back to a teacher? That never happened. "I need to concentrate."
