As they approached I-74, east of the quad cities, the team found a sign that said "Peoria". "Whatever Peoria is, it's a place I've always wanted to come to." Nick said. It was already 8:30 A.M. "We'll be in Galesburg in half an hour." "I have cousins that live in Galesburg." Gideon said. "They live at 578 Irwin Street. Wanna come and meet 'em?" "Sure, Gideon." Judy said. "What are their names?" "Mavis & Max Grey." Gideon Replied. "They will be pleased to meet you guys."
About half an hour later, the team took exit 48 for Galesburg. "We need to turn right onto east Main street." Gideon informed. Once the intersection with Main and Farnham was in view, Gideon found a gas station. "Next, we need to turn right onto North Farnham street." Gideon informed. Nick tapped his left foot impatiently as the stoplight was still red. When the light turned green a few moments later, the team's car turned onto North Farnham street. The team's F12 Berlinetta went at a steady pace of 45 miles per hour up to the Farnham Street Rail Bridge (which goes from 267 North Farnham street to 390 North Farnham street), then Nick floored it as they crossed the bridge. Nick then eased off the speed as he slowed the car back down to 45 miles per hour. As the team approached East Losey Street, Nick quietly chuckled about something on the route. "What's so funny?" Judy inquired. "Next, we have to turn left onto East Losey Street." Gideon Informed. "So that's why he was chuckling." Judy said. As the team's f12 berlinetta turned onto East Losey Street, Gideon found that Irwin street was right around the corner. "Finally, we have to turn left onto Irwin Street." Gideon Informed again. As the team's f12 berlinetta turned onto Irwin street, Gideon recognized the second house on his side of the car. "That's my cousins' house." He said. "It has a black 2007 gmc topkick c4500 Ironhide edition, & a yellow 2014 Lamborghini Aventador LP720-4 50th Anniversary edition in the driveway." "I'll park in front of the house." Nick said.
After Nick parked the car, Nick & Judy walked out of the car, and let Ben & Gideon out of the car after. Gideon led Nick, & Judy to the door, & proceeded to knock. A few moments later, the door opened. "Hello, Gid." Mavis said. "Goodness, you've grown." Mavis was a tall, slim fox who had glasses like Gideon's own mother. She was always happy to see Gideon for Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. "Hi, Mavis." Gideon replied. "I've come here with 3 new friends. This is Judy Hopps." "Hi, Mavis." Judy said. "Nice to meet you." "Nice to meet you too Judy." Mavis said. She bent down and kissed Judy's forehead, causing Judy to blush. "And, this is my friend, Nick." Judy said. "Hi, Mavis." Nick said. "Nice to meet you." "Nice to meet you too Mr." Mavis began. "Wilde." Nick finished. "Nick Wilde." Nick and Mavis hugged in a tight embrace. "My friend, Benjamin Clawhauser is out by the garage." Nick said. "Who's he?" Mavis asked. "He's a cheetah that's a little on the chubby side." Nick said. "It's because he eats a lot of donuts each day. But I think he could go on a diet pretty soon so he could get slimmer, and gain bulk." "Hi, Mrs. Grey." Ben said. "I'm Benjamin Clawhauser. Glad to meet you." He held out his paw to shake Mavis' own paw. "Glad to meet you too Ben." Mavis said. "Hey, Maxie. Gid's Back with some new friends." A few moments later, Max walked out the door, and into the garage to see Mavis, Gideon, and 3 other mammals that looked like who Mavis was talking about. "Hey Gid." Max Replied. "Long time no see. Wow! You've gotten much bigger since we last saw you." Max was a fox, just like Nick. He had hair on his head, and blue eyes, just like Gideon. But he was about as slim as Nick was. "Hi Maxie." Gideon said "I have a few friends to show you. This is my friend, Judy." Gideon said. "Hi Judy" Max said. "Nice to meet you." "Nice to meet you too Max." Judy replied. "I'm the daughter of Gideon's business partners, Bon & Stu Hopps." "Well." Max said. "You're…" "One of the top bakers of the tri-burrows." Gideon finished. "Me and Sharla own a real nice bake shop over in bunnyburrow. Have you ever watched my Minecraft videos?" "What's Minecraft?" Max inquired. "It's this super fun game where you can build whatever you want." Gideon answered. "You should try it." "Eh. I'll look into it" Max said. "And this is Judy's friend, Nick Wilde." Gideon Said. "Greetings Mr…" "Wilde." Nick finished "Nick Wilde." "I'm about as tall as you are Nick." Max said. "And who's this big cheetah that's right next to you Nick?" "This is Benjamin Clawhauser." Nick answered. "the two of us have been very good friends for about 2 years." "Hi, Mr. Grey." Ben said. "I'm Benjamin Clawhauser. Glad to meet you." He held out his paw to shake Max's own paw. "Glad to meet you too Ben." Max said. "How about we all take a group photo together?" "Yeah." Nick said. "A group photo would be great to share family memories." "Tell ya what," Max said. "I'll go get my tripod, and we can share this photo on your social media pages." "Great Idea Max." Mavis said. About 2 minutes later, Max came out of the house with his tripod. Nick grabbed the tripod, set it in front of the house, and put his phone in the holder. "Okay everyone." Nick said as he got the camera ready. He ran back to the rest of the group when he pressed the button on his phone so he could take the picture in about 10 seconds. "Smile, everyone." Nick said as the camera was about to take the picture. "Click." The camera on Nick's Phone perfectly captured everyone in the photo. "This photo is going up on my social media pages." Nick said. "It was nice to meet you two." "Bye!" Judy called. The team then crammed in the car again. This time, Judy was in the front seat. Then, the red f12 berlinetta drove off as Gideon's Cousins waved goodbye to Gideon and his 3 new friends, unaware they'll see them again for Nick and Judy's wedding. As the team went onto I-74, Judy saw that the f12 berlinetta was low on fuel. Up ahead she saw a sign for exit 51. This exit was for a place called Knoxville. "Guys," Judy said. "We're low on fuel. Fortunately, there's a loves stop up by the Interstate." Judy pulled the F12 up to an available fuel pump, filled the tank, & paid for the fuel service. Judy went into the front seat of the f12, and continued on the way to Peoria.
