The dirt crunched below his yellow boots.
The feeling of hunger got bigger the longest he walked. Where once there was a prideful posture as he walked, now there was a hunched back and a wobbly movement that seemed to mock his regular walk.
He was really hungry, and the smell of blood fueled this feeling.
There was a lonely woman laying on the ground, she was wounded. One of her legs seemed to be useless as she tried to drag herself out of the area.
Perfect.
Caleb started running and he pounced on the poor woman. He started riping its limbs apart and ate every organ he saw. She was still screaming, Caleb hadn't got the chance to start eating the rest of her before he heard quick footsteps. He got tackled to the ground.
"Caleb! here you are, were you hungry?"
Caleb struggled to get out of his grip, grumbling and attempting to bite him
"You know you can get out of the house like this little Cay… you could get killed"
Andrew said as he strapped a muzzle on Caleb's mouth, he had been acting aggressively since the "accident", but Papyrus knew that his Cay-Cay was probably just scared, as anyone would be after being attacked by so many zombies. Caleb was so lucky to have him watching his back.
Everyone told him to stay away, that he was no longer Caleb, that he was dead. They were just mocking him. Of course, they would be. They were the ones who didn't allow him to reach out to his father. The teacher had evacuated the area with only two kids, they tried to stop him from saving him. They tried to stop him from saving his only family, his only happiness…
Andrew took Caleb in his arms, he was still kicking. He was trying to bite him, but of course; It was impossible, he had the muzzle in the way and it made Andrew think that he was nuzzling his neck.
Oh, Cay-Cay… you're so sweet, don't worry we'll be home soon. I made your favourite dinner!
Caleb kept struggling.
They arrived home and Andrew took Caleb to his bedroom, it was still as clean as he left it before his child got sick. Andrew chained and placed him on the bed, he made sure Caleb's chains were long enough for him to move around the room without getting close to the door or the windows. He had no idea how he freed himself before, the ropes were just fine, and the "shackles" too. He decided to ignore the thought and went to Caleb's wardrobe, he picked up a red shirt and a pair of loose trousers. He was going over to Caleb to try and change his clothes when he got tackled down by the youngest. He had freed himself from the chains again, Andrew was glad he didn't forget to put on the muzzle today.
After dressing up his son. Andrew tied him up again and left the room, closing the door behind him.
No matter how much intent there was behind the knots in his wrist, they were too loose, Andrew didn't want to hurt his child's wrists. Just stepping on the rope attached to the cloth around his wrist was enough to make them fall off.
Caleb reached out for the door, he was so hungry.
