Cartoon Chronicles: Gravesfield Legends

Ahhh, the mystery.

It is fascinating to think about how captivating an unknown with no apparent solution can be, especially when the circumstances that originate it seem to have abandoned all sense of logic.

We are rational beings who always look for a solution to every dilemma... but at the same time, there is that small part, that strange internal longing to maintain the ambiguity of the circumstances.

It seems contradictory, but that's the way things are, and they are because of the desire for freedom of imagination. Being able to assemble in our mind the solution we want, no matter how fanciful it is, because if there is no answer, then what prevents us from doing it?

I guess it's like a small way to escape from everyday life, the mystery opens the doors for us to get as far away as possible from that corral, even if it's for a moment; and if you are here, it is because you are surely as passionate about this land of the unknown as I am.

Today I bring you something very special.

You know, I'm a big lover of stories. Throughout my life I have heard countless anecdotes that have come from here and there. Some from among my circles of contacts, others from people I meet on my occasional travels; investigating, and even one or the other I have experienced in my own flesh. Most of them with something in common, that particular element of intrigue; an unknown that to this day does not have a solution or at least one that is convincing.

All these stories I have treasured as a kind of "legacy" let's say, a library of culture from many places and many times that are not usually frequented.

I love to relate them whenever I have the opportunity, and I think that it is enough to keep their words bottled up among family or friends.

It is time to pass the torch, give everyone the opportunity to meet and enjoy them. Or well, those who want to stop and listen to them, of course.

Let me tell you about a place, a town lost in the forest whose past has condemned it to the oblivion of the world; but also, perhaps, it has opened the door to that horizon of the strange where the most incredible experiences are created.

Let that be my cover letter.

What who am I? Just a mere narrator of what lies beyond the visible mural; color and drawing.
