"Hey Kirito! This is Agirl!" Leafa shotted at her brother who had strumpled out of the house. He looked depressed because of Asuna breaking up with him. Kirito ignored his sister and the stranger lingering outside their house and, continued back inside to weep in foreight over the loss of his beloved Asuna.

"Kirito!" Leafa yelled again in vain. But he did not hear her. I sighed disaprovointedly.

"That's your brother?" Agril questioned. "What, does he have, a log up is ass or something?" A chuckled a little and starred at Leafa as she ran toewards the reterive her brother.

"He's being a real bitch" I yelled back.

Leafa ran over and grabbed Kirito's wrist. He flinched and, piushed her off of him, causing her to fall off of the step. Before she fell, Agirl jumped over forward and, caught her before she fell. He held her in his arms because she was so delicate she might have fainted but I'm not sure, and then he glared up at Krito with anger.

"Dude," he yelled madly. "She's youre sister. What are you doing?!"

Kirito said nothing. He didn't kno what to say back. Looking at Agirl with madness, he walked back into the house and SLAMMed the door with a lock. Leafa wiped away tears and ran to the door, slamming her fists against the door, pounding it to let her in but it wouldn't. She kneeled in fron t of the door and crying. Agirl stood in shock.

"Xander please stop!" she cried while yelling. "Kirito you can't do this to me again! Please! Mom and dad left and trusted me to help ou please!" She couldn't stop crying and, the tears rolled down her face and even though she was crying hard she looked so beautiful and pretty. Her eyes sparkled in the light and they were green like emerolds in the sun.

Agirl didn't like drama so his drama-avoiding senses kicked in and he decided he should probably just leave, because he didn't have a sister so, he didn't know what Leafa and Kirito waere going through. He walked down the street and, passed Klein. The two fisthumped and then Klein ran towards Leafa's house to comfort the cring girl. He went to help her up, but instead found himself locked in a tight embrace.

"So…" Klein said sneakily. "Ice crea, or would you rather not…?"

"Kirito won't let me inside," Leafa sobbed. "I'm worried about him"...

"It's understandable to be worried' Klein rashionalized. "But if you can't get in, where would you go? Do you have house keys?"

"No…" Leafa malfunctioned. "My parents never used it. I think I just need to talke a walk and imagine everything going just fine".

"That could help," Klein spoke. "Do you want me to come or would you rather go yourself?"

"Do you mind coming?" I asked woefully. I sunk my head and my bangs fell over my face with meloncoly. I could tell Klein felt bad for me but I didn't feel like hiding my feelings anymore. I was always covering up my feelings and pretending to be okay for other people. Sometimes it's just Too hard to say I'm Fine! And SOMETIMES I just have to be sad ok? People are always saying that being sad means your being overdramatic but its hard to cover up when your sad if your always pretending your not sad if you are. Anyways I was looking at the ground because I didn't want to look Klein in the eyes because I was embrassed for being depresed.

"Oh, no." It's fine.

"How was the guild?" Leafa, inquisited happily.

"You know," Klein began. He had a solum note to his tone. "The normal, I guess. You and Kirito weren't there… Lisbeth got sick or something… Agirl skipped again. In fact, I passed him on the way to your house".

"I was talking with him while we were texting. He seems sweet..." she said trailing off thinking about Agirl who had left only moments before.

"He's an interesting character" Klein gopped. (AN: GEDDIT BC THEYRE IN A STROY) "Are you alright?"

"Uhhh eah…" Leafa sighed. "Just trying to think happy thoughts… You've got to be kidding me" she said as she noticed that, Asuna was coming into view.

"Hmmm well" Asuna said snarkily. "If it isn't the famous Miss Leafa! Look at you, becoming confident enough to talk to a cute guy. Miss me yet?" Asuna had on her red and white white knight's uniform so she was wearing leather white pants with red detailing on it with a white cape and red attachments, on her sleeves and such. Her chestnut brown hair was almost blonde in the sunlight, but nowhere near how platonium Leafa's was.

"Only missing a year or two of this game where I could've dated other girls," Klein sizzled.

Klein pushed past Asuna and her block of mionions. Leafa tried to follow him but was blocked by Asuna. She rolled her eyes.

"Klein, I'll meet up with you, okay?" Leafa said softly. Her eyes were still watered, from the tears but she looked at him softly and, he was okay with her handleing this on her own.

"What do you want?" Leafa said to Asuna deadlily.

"I want youre brother back," Asuna said cruelty. She flipped her hair and glared through Leafa intimitadley.

"Get los," Leafa exclaimed. "He would NEVER do that to himself" she put her hands up in the air expressively and she wanted to slap Asuna but she didn't want to be rude so she just shooted daggers at her.

"Oh really?" Asuna replied. "You seem sure about that? Then why don't I show you this text I recieved from him, today? I'm actually on the way over to your house right now, to… talk to him". She flashed her phone in front of Leafa's face and you could see the reflection of the screen in her horrified yet beuaitiful green eyes.

"I'Oh…" she continued. "And if you get in the way, I promise you, I'll make your life miserable. Buh-bye now" she waved with cruelty and stepped off. (AN: god isn't asuha such a bitch! I hate heir :(

"Wow. What a fantasticic, show," Klein said sracastic.

"Please tell me that did not just happen," Leafa sighed.

"That's gonna keep happening until she leafs this hellhole- 'scoose me, I mean Sword Art Online" Klein poked with, a hearty laugh.

"You got that right" I retorted with a giggle.

"As long," he began seriously. "As you keep a good group of friends, you'll get through your last two years. For eample, don't use Agirl as a role model. I mean, he's cool and everything, but he tends to avoid human interaction alltogether. And he knows it and, he's bald".

"I don't blame him" Leafa wept. "I wish I could live in a world, where it was just me and my books…" Leafa wasn't always as popular and famous as she was now because before she adapatered and learned how to be good at the game, the only thing she really cared about whas books.

As hard as it was for some people to believe, she didn't have many other friends outside of all of the raid parties and game related stuff. Leada was kind of an introdvert like that. But it was Good because she liked being that way…. It was what made her different!

But it also meant that when Kirito left her for Asuna and ignored her like right now she was especially lonely because she didn't have anyone. Now there was Klein and now Agirl though. They were the only ones who really got it, you know? Diabel was a little dumb and Lisbeth didn't understand and Krito was mad at me so those were the only people who she could talk to because she only liked books not people.

"Yeah?" Klein asked, looking up at her as they both walked among the sidewalk. They strolled in silence for a bit, hearing only their own footsteps against the pavement. Finally, Klein broke the silence akwardly. "So you said you've been asked out. Who was it?"

"Ummmm a kid in some of my raid parties from last year.. I can't remember his name though" she pondered.

"And you…?" Klein questioned, feeling a stuble blush spreading across his scruffy face. He ran his hands hrough his dark red hair and looked up at Leafa sheepishly. "Have you liked anyone ever?"

"I mean, I kinda like this guy currently," I mentioned shyly. "But I know it's never going to happen so I try to ignore it". I looked at the gorund with a bit of a whimper and let my bangs fall in front of my face. Even though Leafa was a great player she was still self-conscience about romance… because she didn't think she was pretty enough for guys sometimes and that they would never like her back even though she was amrt and caring and worked at the animal shelter during most of free time not clearing floors and fighting monsters.

"Aw. That's kind of sad," klein cuckled. "That's how I felt about Asuna but then it did happen". Klein's face contoured from feelings of bittwrsweetness to saddness to a hint of anger. Leafa watched as he seemed to go through the stages of grief all over again, just thinking about how Asuna had borken his heart in half like she did to Kirito.

It was hard for Leafa to imagine what Klein and Asuna's relationship would have looked like. Klein was such an intellectual nice guy who could understood emotions in a way that Leafa admired. Asuna on the other had was viciosu and cruel and could only hurt people. For the two of them to get together was something that Leafa would have nevr expected. Maybe she though That Klein didn't know that Asuna was evil when they started dating?

Or on other hands maybe, Asuna had been good at one point. Leafa thought of Asuna's flowering chestnut brown hair and glittery eyes and soft features. Like Leaf she was delicate and beautiful, maybe there wasa side to her that Leafa had never seen. Yeah that sounds right I thought to myself wiesely. Asuna had been good at one point but like everyone she wanted MORE and let the greed consump her and then she became evil like when luke skywalker joined the dark side.

Leafa realized, that she was thinking for too long and, never responded to Klein who was still speaking with misery. "Maybe it'll happen to for you" he added slomly with a hint of laugh.

"Who is it?" he asked curiously. Even though he was sad he forced a smile at Leafa so that she wounldt be depresed about Kirito. "I could probably do something to help".

He probably could do something to help, " I reflected interiorly. (AN: c klein donst not lik leafa so hes just mad at asuna and dats why he was angry before dis. hes a GOOD GUY)

"Well before I tell you," I began, slowly. I was an intellectuallity and I knew that if I said it right off the bat who I liked that Klein might judge like me so I had to do it slowly. "What do guys like, in girls?" I asked, quirking my head cutely at the question.

"Hmmm…" he thought for a momet because, sometimes people need a moment to think if their not as smart as someone like Leafa whose a top player in SAO. "That's a difficult question. It really depends on the person. Some guys like the more athletic girls, soe like girls that are more artistic or musical".

Klein girnned. "For infance, I like girls who won't use me. But again it, really depends".

"Well," I giggled happily shinking about the guy I had in mind. "I mean, he's on the football team, so I guess more sporty?" (AN: aND ITS NOT KRITO U SICKO)

"Perhaps" said Klein introspectuvly as he rubbed his scruffly chin. "But opposites attract, so he might be going for something different. So what's his name?"

"His names Ryan… he's a senior" I blushed. Leafa hadn't told anyone abou the crush yet except for Klein, just now and it was a little embrassing. She didn't know Ryan very well or, much about him but the way he made her feel, was something special that she didn't feel with anyone else not even with her brother or Klein (AN: u know wut i mean -_-).

Reardless of how Leafa felt though he also already had like 5,000 girls around at all times and she was kind of hopefless even though, she was pretty and kind and asrt and a good player in SAO. Sometimes guys just don't care, about that kind of stuff no matter how hard, you try and you just have to accept that they're going to like the other girls even though, someone like Leafa is better.

"I've seen him around," Klein nodded. "He is shingle".

"With 50,00,000 others girls after him" I murntered wistfuly.

"Well, sure, but you're one've them" Klein said sweetly. "Just talk to him".

"I mean I guess I could I just, get nervous around guys" I said mervously because Klein was a guy. Which Asuna clearly remembers… Leafa thought malicely. Even though Leafa and Asuna didn't know each other very well Asuna knew excatly how to shut Leafa down and make her feel worthless and stupid (AN: which she is not! sned leaga ur support in da comments ୧( ॑ധ ॑)୨ because we kno even dat even if asuna bullies her she inst stupid & is a good preson) That was why Asuna tried to embarase Leafa before with Klein and her pose of minions.

"Yeah" Klein agreed since he knew, how cruel Asuna could be about Leafas self-conscienceness. But he had faith in Leafa, becase he knew how kind she was and any boy would realize that in a second. "But it's still worth a shot. What's the worst that could happen?" he consorted.

"Total embarrassment Asuna my brother freaking out etc" she listed counting each, of the reasons on her fingers (there were three) and shook her head disaprovointedly. The more she thought about the things keeping her and Ryan a part the more stupid she felt for bringing it up to Klein.

"Good point" Klein said, not comfroting her at all. At this point they are walking toward the guild in the center of town and football training is going on in front of them because the field is right outside the guild so Heathcliff could moderate practices ang games for cheating.

"Well look at that" Klein snickled raising an eyebrow at Leafa and, nodding toward the field in front of them. Leafa punched his shoulder, but hearder, than she meant and Klein fell over from the impact of her strength. She offered him and hand and helped him off of the pavement. He looked a little injuried by t he laughed it off because he didn't want Leafa to know how strong she was (AN: its NOT dat he dosent want her to be confidant hes just embrased (((\(@v@)/))) abt it bc shes so strong and he fell!).

"You've hot to be kidding me" Leafa said jokingly as she extended an arm to help up Klein.

"Hope. Now's your chance" he said with no joke in his tone and completely serious facial expression. She barely saw this much siriusness in his words but it was apparent that he meant business. Leafa took a couple of steps forward, then stopped and turned around to face Klein who had stopped walking and had a wide grin sctetched across his placid face.

"I don't know man…" Leafa yelled casually. "You do realize both Kirito and Auna are probably going to be there right?"

Klein nudged her forward slightly. "Maybe Not" he said with a girn. "They're probably making out in his room".

Leafa walked forward a little bit with hesitation. She looked back at Klein would was still grinning at her with a little mischevious grin. She wasn't sure why she trusted him thismuch or why she even told him in the first place or how they even ended up in front of the football field But this was how this was about to go down it seemed.

"Fine" she sighed defeatdly. "But gie me a warning if you, see them…" She sighed again and then brushed off her clothes before walking onto the sideline to watch Ryan practice. Klein watched her back as she watched away and smiled, but then went to sit on the highest level of the bleechers. Agirl who had been, watching the practice before they got their, sat down next to Klein.

"Hey dude" he said with a wave. Agirl was a blacksmith within the game and because of that he and Klein were friends because Klein was a guild leader and needed to always stock up on materials for the guild. Agirl was a blacksmith so he could do that for him with all the surplies. They had a good friendship and they both lkked Leafa so it was a little complicated.

"Agirl!" Klein said excitedly. "Didn't get to talk earlier. What's up?" Klein motioned for Agirl to sit closer beside them as they watched the game practice happening below. Neither of them really knew how football worked because they weren't like the sporty type of guy and so they just watched them run back and forth but didn't really know how to scores goals or how the game startegy was working.

"Kayaba's on my tail again for skipping" Agirl said calmly but there was a little panc in his hitched voice. "I could really use, some help".

Agirl held out a folded piece of paper, to Klein who unfolded and inspected it. It was a fake doctors note with the doctor signature, line not filled out becase it was fake. Klein sighed and, looked p at Agirl.

"This is the lastt ime I'm going to do this for you," he sighed. "At least for now. Next time, maybe try going to the guild metting?" Begrudginly, he swiped up with his right hand ansd scrolled through his invention until he found a pen and after clicking it it martialized in his hand. With extreme accupuncture, Klein forged a doctor's signature and handed the note back to Agirl with a frown.

"Thanks, Klein" Agirl thanked. "I owe you, one for that". Opposed to his friends, gloom Agirl had a look of pure bliss on his smith face. Against his best wishes, Klein knew that there was no way Agirl would stay true to his promises. For whatever reason the blaskcmith just couldn't bring himself to come to the meetings even after all of the consensus that followed him skipping.

Meanwhile, Leafa stood on the sidelines of the field and watched as football practice continued. She spotted Ryan out of the corner of her eye. He was left tackle so his position was pretty easy for her to pick out because she kenw, a lot about football because of her brother being the cpatain. The two had spent hours and hours ant their home watching replays of football because Kirito had always liked the sport. Just thinking about it made Leafa well up with tears.

Even though Kirito was being unseasonable with her she took it, to heart. He was her BROTHER why would they have to fight, like this if he really care about her? Leafa felt her gut start to shurn as she thought about all of the good times, she had with Kirito and how they might not happen anymore because he was away. It was all Asuna's fault she thought! But that was beside the point.

From the feild Ryan saw Leafa standing on the sideline. "What's she doing here?" he thought to himself while taking down the right dedender, with a deadly tackle. He didn't know Leafa very well other then, her being one of the top players in the game and the younger sister of his fooball team captain. He had always thought she was… pretty, but never really thought about her much until this moment. There was something about her flowing blonde hair and the timid yet confident way that she stood that compiled him to walk away from the match and towards her.

His teammates yelled stuff like Ryan what are you doing but, he didn't care he just wanted… to see her and to talk to her and he didn't know why. Leafa saw that Ryan was walking toward her and with a sniffle wiped away her crystal tears.

"Hey! Where's your brother" Ryan yelled as he walked clser to her on the sidelines. He had dark brown hair that was a little wavy and he pushed it out of his face gently, with his left hand to reveal shining purple eyes that complimented Leafa's prefectly. His smile was almost, blinding and Leafa felt her heart drop to her chest.

"Umm…" she begat with a loss of word. Think of an excuse…. She intrevalized to herself while looking up at Ryan nervously. Her heart was beating uncontourably and with passion because she liked him and now she liked him even more. "... He's not, feeling too well today soooo… um, he told me, to come and tell you!" she said chipperly.

Ryan looked at her nervousness skeletally and quirked an eyebrow at her firtaciously. She suckered in a gasp of air and twirled her hair with her fingers.

"Yup, that's exactly what happened today" she manuvered with an innocent smile.

"Okay then," Ryan chuckled. "Will I see you after practice?"

"I'll be sure to stick around" I sang sweetly as I smiled and turned my back to walk towards the bleechers. Ryan remained where he stood for several seconds, standing in awe of the girl he had just met. She was like nothing he'd ever felt before and there was some part of him that knew she could be the pne?

Leafa walked up the steps and sat down next to Klein. She had a smile on her face wide enough that it and she was bouncing her legs excitedly. Klein smirked and raised his eyebrows knowingly.

"See?" he tellected, holding his hands out in front of him and then crossing them slowly. "Not so hard... You're staying here then?"

"Um.." she looked out over the field and, spotted Ryan again this time catching the ball and running, towards the goal heroically. As he scored the goal and knocked over the goalie his teammates lifted him up into the air all, cheering, and his smile was large enough that Leafa could see it even from this high up on the bleechers. After a moment of staring at Ryan's victory she realizes she never answered Klein's question and looked up at him. She blinked emptily. "I think so..Are you?"

Klein shurgged. "Depends. It seems like you're sorted out with Ryan… most of the football guys don't like me too much so I'm not onna stay much longer". He said the last part quietly, as if the football team could hear him even though they were so far away.

"Alright…" Leafa said distantly. She was still watching the tea, play memorizingly. Thinking about Ryan made her even froget about Kirito and Asuna for once. It was nice, because Kirito had been making her depresed recently and Leafa needed reasons not to be sad because she was always so sad all the time even though she told everyone she was okay and somtimes she just. Wasn't. And that's fine! Because she's human like the rest of us and she can be not okay.

All of these thoughts were running through Leafa's head when she looked over and noticed that Agirl the Blacksmith had also been sitting with htem. "Hey" she said sombrely.

"Afternoon" Agirl said friendlyly. "You've got some pretty high standards, eh?" he nodded toward Ryan but he didn't need to because leafa already got what he was talking about. She giggled embrassingly but with a hint of passion.

"I guess I'm just around the football players a lot cause of Kirito" she added intruivitly.

"Makes sense" Agirl thoughtfulled. He also watched the game for a bit but like before he and Klein didn't really get the hole football thing and beause of that he was kind of bored just watching it because (AN: even tho hes wise!) he didn't understrand.

"GTA?" he whimspered to Klein sneakily. Klein's ears pirked and he looked at Agirl with a grin of excitement and gamer angergy.

"Guess who's losing… not me" he yelled at Agirl with fervor. They both got up simultastically and began to sprint down the bleecher stairs like it was a game of tag. Leafa wasn't paying attention because she was daydreaming and it took her a second to respond. By the time she sat up both Klein and Agirl were already halfway down the path behind the bleechers.

"Wait, what guys!" I yelled down to them happily. LEafa ran down the steps and began to chase them. She was happy she had friends she could do stuff like this was. She used to be so lonely but looking at Klein and Agirl she felt happy that she could do kid things like this. She didn't feel so lost anymore like how she used to feel before all of the friends left.

"Klein thinks he can beat me in GTA. Pffft" Agirl called back to Leafa cheerfully but with undertimes of competition. Klein looked back at Leafa with a laugh and waved as the two of them ran off into the sunset.

"Alright have fun then?" Leafa said to herself because she was now standing alone without the friends. But just then she remembered… Ryan! She turned around to head back to the sidelines but... a familiar broad figure was already there when she turned around.

"Hi there…"
