His arms were wrapped around her from behind. She couldn't feel more content anywhere else in the world. He was leaning with his back against the old well, her back was against his chest, and they were looking at the stars. She had been gone for three years, and being back with him, being back home, was the best feeling in the world. Now they were married, and together. He had built a hut hoping, or somehow knowing she would come back to him one day. Every night they came into this field and enjoyed being with each other. Just being grateful to finally be back together. For those three years she had missed seeing the stars. She would look up at the Tokyo skyline and the lights would make it almost impossible to see more than a few twinkling lights in the dark abyss. Here the entire sky was full to bursting with lights. And being in his arms while they enjoyed it, made it better.

As she looked into the sky his arms tightened around her middle in a sweet embrace. She squeezed his arms knowing that nothing would ever pull her away from him again.

Then a bright star streaked across the sky. Her hand raised and pointed at the same time he did.

She could hear his chuckle as they both pointed out the shooting star.

"Make a wish, Inu."

Then his voice was soft in her ear, "You're here with me. All my wishes have come true."

She couldn't hold back the smile, she knew she felt the same way. All her wishes had come true. So long as they were together, she would never need to wish for anything again. She had all she could dream of. No matter what happened next for them. They would be together.
