"I'm meeting Ruby, sweetheart, I'll come back later!"
The blonde waved at the faunus, who was laying over the bed with a book in her hands.
"You smell like strawberries." was her response.
Yang turned her face to Blake while she was getting ready to go out. "What?"
"I can smell it from here." -said the faunus-"Did you buy a new scent?"
Yang started smelling herself but failing to notice anything new.
"I don't know, babe. I'm using the same one, like I always do."
The faunus let the book aside and smelled the air.
"No, there's something different about you."
"I swear I don't go eating strawberries at night or something."
Blake got up from the bed and started to walk to where Yang was.
"I've never smelled this on Ruby or Weiss. It's something… nice. Sweet."
The blonde grinned at the phrase. "Babe, if you want to get close to me you just have to say it." With that, Yang took her partner by the hips and brought their foreheads together.
"You know it's not like that." Blake smiled softly. When she saw a pout from her girlfriend, she added: "But I do like getting close to you." The faunus pecked her lips briefly, making the blonde smile. After that, Blake gave Yang a confused look. The blonde noticed it and asked: "What is it? A little peck is not enough for you, kitty-cat?" She sent a wink to the faunus.
"You're right."
The faunus took Yang by the face and kissed her again, in a deeper way. The blonde was surprised but didn't deny the move. She expected a little blush from her girlfriend but instead of that she was blessed by something different. She loved kissing her partner, she could be doing it for hours. This time, tough, Blake seemed to focus just on her lips. No matter what she did, the faunus just wanted her lips, not her tongue. Yang slowly tried to break the kiss to find out her girlfriend didn't want to get away from her. The faunus bit her lower lip and attacked Yang's mouth again. The blonde was glad to follow.
Eventually, they broke the kiss when they needed air.
"Woah, babe, I didn't know you wanted this so bad." -said the blonde, panting- "Did I say I have plans with Ruby? I totally don't have them anymore."
"Yang, your lips taste like strawberries."
The blonde blinked when she heard the statement and licked her own lips.
"I don't taste anything."
"I kind of took everything you had on." -Said the faunus, slightly blushing.
Yang let go of her girlfriend after a "let's find out". She went to the bathroom and took the lipstick between her fingers. She saw a note under the item.
"Oh…"
"What is it?" -Asked the faunus, already sharing the same room, curious about the mystery they were about to resolve.
"I kind of borrowed something from team JNPR and… it seems very expensive."
They looked at each other.
"They probably forgot it here when we had the last party." The faunus came to the conclusion. "But…"
Blake snatched the lipstick from Yang and opened it, pointing at her girlfriend's lips.
"We should give it a use now."
Yang's eyes opened in excitement. She hugged her girlfriend around the waist, closing their distance.
"Strawberries turn my babe on? That's new!"
"Kissing your lips turns me on, Yang. That's just… a boost."
"God, I hope there's also tuna flavor."
"That would be weird."
They both smiled, knowing they had a very long day ahead.
