Short ten: When Flare Stays Up Late

The Paw Patrol Lookout was standing under a beautiful night sky with the next shot showing Flare playing video games on the couch. He was clearly tired, but he was also trying as hard as he could to stay awake, as he was currently tackling the final boss of the game. After dodging what looked like a quick and hard to dodge stinger stab, he landed a triple slash on the boss and finished him off. This made Flare ecstatic beyond all belief. It took him weeks, but it was worth it. He was able to beat the final boss in the game. "Yes! I finally beat Angel May Die 4 on Hell and Hell mode!"

Flare cracked open another cherry soda and chugged it down, letting out a burp as he did, which made him giggle in response. As he watched the post final boss cut scenes in his game, Marshall was revealed to be watching him from nearby with a smile. He knew it was late, but he and Flare still had time to get a full sleep. Flare couldn't believe how big of an achievement he'd just made. He just had to tell the others tomorrow morning. "Just wait until the others hear about this. It's gonna blow their minds!"

The game then auto saved Flare's progress for him, leaving him to raise his fists into the air before falling onto his side. He then rolled onto the floor before letting out a cute little puppy yawn and falling asleep. Once Marshall was sure Flare was unable to stay up any longer, he went into the living room and picked his little brother up. He then started carrying him over to his room, but not before getting a look at his game. The credits were about a quarter of the way done, so Marshall felt he'd come and turn off Flare's game for him after he put him to bed.

Marshall went down the hallway as he looked at his sleeping brother's face. He couldn't help but smile at the sight of it. Flare's sleep smile was just too adorable. As Marshall carried Flare into their room, he got a good look at the ladder that led to Flare's bunk. As always, he knew he'd have to be careful when climbing up this ladder with only two legs. He stepped on it carefully and used one of his front paws just in case, making sure to hold Flare with his other paw.

Once Marshall got up to Flare's bunk, he moved his blanket and laid Flare down gently before picking up Princess Chocolate, who was next to the pup's pillow. Even though Flare was asleep, he could still feel Princess Chocolate and happily hugged her when turning over slightly. Marshall then tucked Flare into bed while making sure his blanket was right up to the puppy's neck. After kissing Flare on his forehead and making his brother feel even more happy, Marshall went down the ladder and left the room quietly. Someone had to clean Flare's mess up after all.

When Marshall went out into the living room, he saw that there were a bunch of ants surrounding Flare's snacks. He wasn't entirely sure how he was going to deal with the ants, since he knew he had to in order to clean Flare's mess. He figured that using cleaning spray would be the best method, so after inspecting the parts he felt he would have to spray the most, he turned around to head to the kitchen and get it. As he did however, his butt was shown as he unintentionally released...

PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT

...a loud and bassy thirty second fart onto the ants, making Marshall stop in place and killing all of them with a green cloud of spoiled cheese that made the Dalmatian's butt vibrate. Marshall looked back to find that he'd just surrounded the entire living room with his gas, and blushed bright red as he turned his head back forward while looking back at it. He was just relieved that no one else was in the living room to witness that expulsion of his. And that they wouldn't come in to see what it was, since everyone was so used to sleeping through Chase's farts by now.

Marshall still went to the kitchen, but this time, it was to get some air freshener, which he found right next to the cleaning spray in the pantry. It was thankfully on a shelf that was high enough for him to reach without jumping, so he wouldn't risk wiping out and waking anyone up. He made his way back into the living room and sprayed the air freshener, making his best attempt to block out his fart scent. After about a minute of spraying, his lingering fart odor had been perished.

After Marshall took out his fart odor, he cleaned up Flare's mess; starting with taking his snacks to the trash. He then moved onto the cans, picking them up a few at a time and heading on over to the recycling bin to throw them out. Good thing they had one by the trash can too, or Rocky wouldn't be happy at all.

Marshall looked back into the living room one last time and saw that it was completely clean now. He decided to go ahead and save Flare's game and shut off his console before heading back to bed. That way, Flare wouldn't lose the victory he'd worked so hard to attain. It wasn't always easy being an older brother, but Marshall always managed to make it work the best he could. And he knew that any amount of struggling he'd have to deal with when it came to Flare, was worth it.
