Pinky and Happy led their large group to City Hall, intimidating anyone who happened to cross their path. As they got closer, the anticipation of what was about to happen tickled Pinky's mind. Part of him was excited, one part was in disbelief that this was happening, and another part of him started to worry. What would happen if the plan failed? Would they all be locked away forever? Would Pinky accidentally ensure that he never saw Brain again?
As if he could sense Pinky's worry, Happy placed a brief hand on his shoulder. "It'll be okay."
Pinky smiled at his friend's reassurance, and they marched on.
Soon enough, the group came upon City Hall, where many of Hamington's citizens were eagerly waiting for their mayor to speak. A few of them noticed the masked group and noticeably became anxious. Some seemed to purposely ignore the group. Everyone else was so absorbed in the hype of the press conference that they didn't notice them at all.
The group spread out into their separate teams and mixed into the crowd. Pinky looked around, wondering when the Snowman would come out. The plan couldn't start if he wasn't out. He took notice of the security that seemed to have increased upon the group's arrival. "Poit."
Happy patted Pinky on the back. "I'm going to E-Team's location. Good luck. Remember, we have your back." Pinky waved as his friend disappeared amongst the people in the crowd.
Pinky turned to face the podium ahead, where Snowball would eventually walk out, and waited. And waited. And waited. He's sure taking his time. This time was allowing Pinky to become disoriented and fuzzy. There were so many people here. Everyone's words and movements blended together, and every outline doubled.
Pinky squeezed his eyes shut, breathing in and out carefully. I can do this. I have to. For Brain. He re-opened his eyes and was pleased to see that much of the crowd's movement had reduced significantly. They even began to quiet down. And they had all started facing in one direction.
Pinky followed suit just in time to see Snowball walking up toward the podium. Snowball smirked down upon the crowd with an icy glare. He tapped on one of the microphones and cleared his throat. "Hello, Hamington! It is I, your rightfully elected mayor! Thank you all for coming tonight." He turned to a few cameras and waved as much of the crowd applauded his arrival.
When the cheering ceased, Snowball began his speech, and Pinky moved.
Snowball addressed his distaste for the masked individuals but overall dismissed their presence. He had 'more important topics to discuss.' While he droned on about his plans for pest control around the city, Pinky got closer and closer to the building.
Right up on the building was a line of police tape that separated the people from it. Pinky looked left and right before ducking under the tape and heading down a set of stairs that led to a door. The door was unguarded. The D-team musta' got 'em already.' Pinky cautiously approached the door and gave it a push, and to his relief, it opened. He walked inside and moved down the hall.
Sweat dripped down the side of Pinky's face as he swept his mind for instructions. Okay, Happy said to go up the first set of stairs on the right, first. He found the stairs and focused on the next set of directions he had been told.
After a while, Pinky was worried he had gotten himself lost but beamed when he saw a door labeled, 'Oversight.' Behind this door was the outside world and the direct path to Snowball. Pinky paused where he was, waiting for the signal. Bye. They forgot. You're gone crazy, clown.
Pinky tapped his foot and hummed nervously as he waited and waited. And then he heard it. The first shot.
Pinky ran through the door and paused to take a moment to observe the beautiful chaos of the people below. There were people scrambling as they fled and people who were frozen in time. Guards were rushing the scene, and Pinky watched with excitement as each and every one of them was quickly restrained by masked teams. Pinky also heard a commotion from behind him, back inside the building. E-team was making sure Pinky had nothing to worry about.
"Where are my guards?! What's happening?! Get me outta here!" Snowball shook at his podium as he looked around desperately for assistance. There were no guards to protect him, though. The only other people near him were solely concerned for their own safety. He turned and headed towards the door that led inside but stilled upon seeing Pinky.
Pinky smiled and waved. "Hello, Mr. Snowman! Narf!" He pulled out a rope and knife from his pockets. "Let's make this quick, yeah?" He's so scared of this crazy!
Snowball backed away slowly, attempting to think of a way out of whatever was going to happen to him. He frowned when he determined that his only hope of escape would be to jump down into the crowd. He glanced back and forth between Pinky and the drop and went for it.
Pinky was surprised when he saw the Snowman jump but was quick to act. He leaped forward, slid across the stone floor, and reached his hand out and grabbed. Pinky grunted as the weight of the man pulled on his arm. He looked down to see Snowball hanging from his grasp by an ankle. Pinky carefully grabbed the other ankle, slipped onto the heels of his feet, and backed up, dragging the man back up with him.
Snowball had been bracing himself for impact but was shocked to instead end up dangling over the chaos. When he looked up and saw that Pinky had grabbed him in the nick of time, he gasped. He attempted to struggle as he was pulled back up, but it was useless.
Once the Snowman was back up top, Pink hurriedly tied the man's ankles together and moved on top of him. Oh, he don't look too happy now, does he?
Snowball waved his hands and pleaded. "Stop this, please! Why are you doing this? If you let me go, I'll give you whatever it is you want! Money? Do you want money? Or high-standing position, perhaps?" He was prepared to say anything it took to gain back his freedom.
Pinky opened his mouth but paused as the sound of more gunshots rang out. He waited for the bangs to stop echoing before he spoke. "Oh, I'm afraid I don't want any of that. I just want you! Narf!" He went ahead and bound Snowball's wrists together. Then he pulled out duct tape from his pocket, cutting off a piece with his knife.
Snowball panicked more at the idea of being unable to try to talk his way out of the situation. "Wait! Please! Maybe we can talk this through? There's got to be something I can exchange in place of myself!"
Pinky giggled. "Afraid not. Troz!" Pinky slipped a piece of tape onto the other's mouth and unnecessarily dusted off his hands. He was glad to have the Snowman silenced, a little offended that the man didn't seem to recognize him as someone he's been rude to on the streets. Oh well.
With Snowball successfully restrained, Pinky approached the podium, taped on the larger microphone, and cleared his throat. "Hello, people of Hamington! Narf!" It's me! Pinky!"
The scrambling of people below halted, and much of the noise stopped, though there was still a little bit of yelling and crying. Pinky smiled and waved at his masked supporters before continuing. "I know you all were expecting to hear a speech from Snowball, but you're actually going to hear some words from me. Troz! Snowball will not be your new mayor. Starting today, someone else will be Hamington's mayor! Oh, and I know you'll just love him when you meet him! He'll be giving his speech here tomorrow, so everyone is expected to be here!"
Many people seemed confused, but Pinky only shrugged and kept talking. "Today is the day that people stop being mean to me and to people like me. Today is the day people like me take control instead! I'm tired of the angry faces around this town! Now, you can either join us with a smile or…" Pinky walked over and dragged Snowball up to where everyone could see. "...we can make you smile another way!"
Pinky took his knife and slipped into Snowball's mouth. The man closed his eyes and trembled violently in anticipation of the pain he was about to experience. Pinky made his first gash and watched intently as the icy man wrestled and cried. Then he made the second gash.

Brain pouted and grumbled, eyeing the door to his cell aggressively. Where are they? If they didn't get here soon, Brain was going to piss himself. It was two hours past when they would typically take him for an afternoon bathroom break. Do they think this is funny making me wait? Oh, these people were going to get it bad.
Feeling slightly defeated, Brain laid on his side and closed his eyes, figuring a nap may help take his mind off his need to go.
After a few minutes, with his eyes closed, Brain smiled to himself as he envisioned what he desired to dream about.
In his vision, he was roaming about a glorious castle, admiring the art of ancient Romans and Greek painters. He was an enthusiast for works from that era but never could afford to own even fake pieces of such art. But now, he could. He couldn't wait to get out of here and decorate his castle. He was certain that the servants Pinky had most definitely acquired while he's been locked up would have finished building one by now. Wait. Did I ever tell Pinky I wanted a castle? … Oh, I'm sure it's a given.
He imagined the statues of himself he was going to have built lining the halls of his castle. He'd have statues of Pinky made, too, of course. Pinky.
Brain stopped smiling, and his lip began to quiver. He missed Pinky. Brian was confident that he would be rescued by the taller man any day now, but it was becoming more and more challenging to go on without seeing him. It made him lonely, sad, and so, so angry. The ruler of the world, and he was being forced to go without seeing his Pinky. It was torture. Brain let a few tears slip out. Torture. Yes. That's what I'll do to them. Brain made a final decision about the fate of those who had kept him locked away.
Memories of Pinky flashed through his mind. Every laugh, every sheepish look of uncertainty, his tics, his eyes, and his saint-like smile. Brain took in a shaky breath. Was Pinky smiling? How many more days was he going to go without seeing it?
Then, memories of their more intimate moments played. Brain had never felt so vulnerable yet safe with someone before. No one made him feel the way Pinky did. A sob escaped from Brain's mouth. He felt pathetic, but he could no longer hold in his sudden sorrow. He was beginning to really feel the effects of being separated from his favorite person in the world.
The desperate feeling enveloped him as he began to fall asleep.
….
"Pinky! Hurry! Over here!" Brain panicked as the castle shook in response to the earthquake. He looked over to his lover, who was in the middle of the room, right underneath a chandelier. Pinky made eye contact with Brain, but the chain holding the chandelier snapped before he could move.
Pinky looked up. "Poit."
"Noo!"
…
Brain's eyes snapped open with a gasp as he shot up straight, catching his breath. He looked around his cell and sighed with relief. It was just a dream. The ground underneath him shook, and a few pieces of loose stone bits fell from the ceiling. …Maybe not?
The shaking stopped, and Brain carefully made his way onto his feet. He stood still, uncertain of what to do. Was that an earthquake?
Suddenly, the door to Brain's cell opened, and Deja rushed in, quickly slamming the door behind her as she leaned her back up against it. She looked absolutely terrified.
Brain arched a brow. "What's going on? What's happening?"
Deja looked at Brain and put a finger to her mouth, praying that he would silence himself.
Brain wasn't sure what was going on, so obliged the silent request. Doesn't seem like it was an earthquake, I guess.
The building shook again, and the sound of an explosion echoed throughout.
Deja collapsed to the ground and crawled away from the door to the middle of the room. She whispered under her breath. "What the fuck is going on out there?"
Brain was becoming increasingly concerned. What was happening? Had a gas leak occurred?
There were a few eerie moments of silence before…
*Knock, knock, knock-knock knock*
Brain gasped. That knocking pattern….
There was a blast as the door burst open. Smoke hid the scene before Brain, but he smiled.
From the smoke walked in his beautiful Pinky with the most gorgeous smile ever.
Pinky saw Brain and ran over to him, engulfing him in a needy hug. "Brain! It's you! Oh, I was so worried you wouldn't be here! This was the last room left to check! Poit! Oh, but you're here!" Pinky didn't even try to stop his tears from escaping. Brain was here, in his arms.
Brain reciprocated the hug, clinging to Pinky like a lifeline. "Pinky! I knew it! I'd knew you'd come for me!" Brain looked over at Deja and smirked at her. Her eyes were blown open in disbelief.
Pinky ended the hug too soon and pulled out a set of master keys. "Gimme just a sec, Brain, and I'll have you unchained. We got these off the janitor. He was very cooperative." He undid Brain's chains and stepped back.
Brain got up and then slowly walked over to Pinky. He grabbed him roughly by the collar and brought him down into a passionate kiss.
Pinky let his eyes shut as he took a moment to enjoy the sensation of his lover's lips on his own. It had been too long without the other's kisses, and it felt incredible.
Soon, the room filled with armed people wearing masks. Brain broke the kiss and eyed them with suspicion.
Pinky noticed Brain's concerns and grabbed his arm. "Don't worry about them. They helped!" Pinky pointed to Deja and addressed the masked men. "Go ahead and put her with the rest of the asylum workers for now. I'll have Brain decide on what to do with them later." Pinky pulled Brain along and down the hallway towards a giant hole in the wall that led outside. "I've got a surprise for you!"
Brain let himself be dragged along.
They walked through the hole in the wall, and Brain was pleasantly surprised to see a line of masked people on either side of him, saluting. He could see fires in the distance, he heard sirens and screaming, and it was music to his ears.
At the end of the path was a beaten-up police cruiser where they stopped just a few feet away.
Pinky giddily bounced back a forth on his heels. "Stay right here, Brain! And no peeking!" Pinky ran to the cruiser's trunk and removed his present for Brain.
Brain stood, staring straight ahead to avoid looking at where Pinky had gone. He jolted slightly when he felt a weight being added to the top of his head. A hand mirror shot in front of his face, and he marveled at the crown gracing his cranium.
"Do ya like it, Brain? Troz!" He's a king!
Brain turned and looked at Pinky in his eyes. "It's wonderful, Pinky."
Pinky bent down and kissed Brain on the cheek, and winked. "That's not all!" Pinky put a hand on the backdoor handle of the cursor and pulled it open, revealing a tied up, helpless Snowball.
Brain glanced back and forth between Snowball and Pinky. He finally stopped and pulled Pinky down into another kiss. "Pinky! God, I love you!" Brain made a mental note to make Pinky a crown, as well. He was his queen, after all. Well, I suppose we should get married first to make it official. It would be a grand wedding for all the world to witness! "You've made me the happiest leader of the world ever."
Pinky blushed. "Oh, Brain. I don't know about the world, but you are the leader of Hamington!"
Brain disregarded the comment, figuring Pinky must be too exhausted to think straight. Brain looked again at Snowball and pondered something. "Pinky, dear? What should we do to celebrate my rescue first? Do we have a little fun with our capture here, first, or…" He motioned for Pinky to lean down so he could whisper in his ear.
Pinky blushed deeply at what Brain had whispered to him. He glanced at the Snowman, then back at Brain. "Oh, Brain. The Snowman can wait. He's not goin' anywhere! How am I supposed to help punish him with that on my mind?" Crazy fuck.
Brain chuckled. "Fair enough." He looked at the masked individuals and took charge. "Please put him somewhere safe for now. It'll be a few hours before we're ready for him."
The men nodded, and a few of them got in the cruiser and drove off, letting Brian know that they'd have Snowball waiting for him at City Hall.
Brain and Pinky began walking back into the asylum, and Brain held out his hand. Pinky handed over the master key set with a half-lidded gaze, eager to have his ankles chained up.
They re-entered what was once Brain's cell, and Pinky was chained up rather quickly. Brain grabbed Pinky's chin, forcing eye contact. "So, I'm curious. How far along is my castle?"
Pinky blinked in confusion. Uh-oh. He didn't know he was supposed to do that. He smiled sheepishly. "Uh, I didn't get a castle built. Poit."
Brain was momentarily genuinely disappointed but brushed it off. He supposed being rescued was good enough. It did give him something to use, though. "Oh? Well, I can't let that go unpunished, now can I?" He licked his lips, his desire for his Pinky swelling up like hunger.
Pinky felt his skin bumble with goosebumps. "I suppose you shouldn't."
Brain unbuckled his pants and then blushed. "I'll be right back. I really have to go pee."
…..
A couple of hours later, Brain was on his back panting, while Pinky was on his side shivering from the intensity of their love-making. They let themselves have a few moments to gather themselves.
Pinky spoke through shaky words. "I-I don't know if I'll have the energy to do anything involving the Snowman, Brain. Not tonight."
Brain shot a finger in the air. "Agreed. No matter. We can deal with him tomorrow."
"Oh, you have a speech to give tomorrow, Brain. And there's someone I'm gonna want you to meet. He helped plan all this. You should probably make him like a knight or something. Or maybe a dutchess."
Brain sat up and put his hands on his hips. "What? Pinky, why are you just now telling me this?"
Pinky shrugged. "I just now thought about it. Narf!"
Brain rolled his eyes and crawled over to Pinky, wrapping an arm around him. "It's gonna be a busy day then. I also want to get people started on my - our castle." Brain groaned. There were also his ex-captors to deal with. "It isn't easy being leader, Pinky."
Pinky snuggled up close to Brain. "I don't doubt it, Brain. I'll be there to help you, though. I promise."
Brain smiled and sighed contently. "I know you will, Pinky. I know you will.
