Chapter 3 Goodbye Aang

The day to say goodbye to the avatar had come as Katara said Zuko Mai Izumi. And hugged the three of them as tears rolled her cheeks her and Aang's children walked over Bumi the oldest bowed saying uncle Zuko Aunt Mai cousin Izumi. As Kaya piggybacked baby Tenzin as Toph said breathe sugar queen. And Katara hugged the blind police chief saying you haven't changed. And Toph said it's good to feel you Katara. And she nodded sniffling And sat down as Zuko was the first one to speak saying i first met Aang because I was tasked with hunting him down to regain my honor and throne but I realized he was more then the Avatar he was like a little brother to me sure we had our share of disagreements with each other sure if we were at each other's throats he was our best friend. And wipes his eyes on his sleeve as Mai sighed saying i first met Aang when my little brother Tom-Tom accidentally grabbed momo's tail and I was on Auzla's side at the time and I knew Aang was the key to winning the war but as time went by he was the best man at Zuko and my wedding. And was the first one to hold Izumi bye bye Aang. And Izumi hugged the casket that held Aang. As Toph said Twinkle toes I told you to stay put but you had to go fight Amon you never listen but you were the best student and friend to this stubborn blind police chief and former pro earth bending wrestler could ever have bye buddy. And next was Sokka as he stoically walked over but tears danced in his eyes as he said my sister and I were first to meet Aang and the others and I was 16 and Katara was 15 and Aang being the kid he was and the avatar he had time to blend fun with duty and i will never forget that he was brave and fought many battles and he always knew how to make friends. And he touched the airbender's tattoo on Aang's forehead as he let tears roll on to Aang's lifeless cheek.
