WOOOO, WOOOO, WOOOO

Donatello sprinted towards his wall of monitors as the security alarm in the old lair was triggered. Donnie feared that it was the Foot, or one of Baxter Stockman's creations like the mousers or something even more of a mystery.

"What is it Don?" Donnie could hear Leonardo's voice coming closer but the second Donnie realized what tripped the alarm he scattered to cover his shock. He quickly fumbled around his desk, shuffling papers and miscellaneous mechanical trinkets to distract himself and calm his beating heart.

"Uh, it was just some rats Leo. No worries," He called from over his shoulder as he clicked, popping open a new window. Donnie couldn't believe what he just saw, it was Raphael with Cassidy flung over his shell. What shocked Donnie the most was when his hot headed brother ducked and bit Cass twice on the back of her thigh before they both disappeared into Raph's old room. Donnie was stunned, curious and slightly jealous, especially with the certain tensity in the air. Donatello has always had the easiest time when it came to mating season. Raphael and Mikey struggled the most, both being more sensitive with their feelings and wants holding little regard for those around them.

Donatello continued to fumble about his desk, curiosity getting the best of him. He craned his neck back to look towards the den to see if there were any prying eyes. Michelangelo was facing the opposite direction playing video games while Leo must have headed back towards the dojo. Donatello looked back towards his monitors, his thirst for knowledge driving his actions forward. He clicked back towards the footage of Raphael's old door. The door in question was closed and Donnie felt a sense of relief but he was soon frozen by what he heard. He turned the volume down on his headset but a delicious tingle rippled through his body. The quiet gasps, moans and deep guttural sounds ricocheted through his head phones and his mind was cooking up any and all possible scenarios. Donnie could only imagine what his older brother could be feeling and experiencing. Clicking out of the surveillance window, another alert grabbed his attention. It was Evelyn. She was online and messaged him again about possibly meeting up once she got back from Spring break. Donatello groaned, not out of annoyance but out of his need to be close to Evelyn. He adored this woman who captivated his mind and how he wished that he and Evelyn could share what Raph and Cass do. He was happy for his brother, don't get him wrong, but there was no denying he longed for what could never be. A sad truth indeed.

Raphael and Casey rode through the busy streets of late night New York when it began to rain. The neon lights of bustling businesses mirrored within the rain filled puddles across the asphalt. They rode for over an hour before the rain became too much and they turned down a narrow alleyway.

"Ugh man! I've missed this, missed us!" Casey all but shouted into the empty alley, his head thrown back after removing his helmet.

"Didn't know that's how ya felt about me Case, sorry to say, I am taken," Raphael smirked as removed his own helmet before shaking the water from his leather jacket. Casey and him both hovered underneath a small awning outside a vacant business when they heard the familiar scuffle of some rowdy individuals.

"Ay, sounds like the fun's not over with," Casey smirked before heading towards the mystery sound, grabbing his bat and mask along the way. Raphael growled in excitement thinking, how can this day get any better? Both men made their way towards the sound that was about to turn this night on its head.

"He was so gentle…careful…passionate" Cassidy sat cross-legged on top of the lumpy mattress as April was sprawled against the wall, feet extended to each of her sides as if to enclose Cassidy in safe space.

April had a shit-eating grin on her face as she leaned against the brick wall, her arms gripping the pillow to her chest.

"That's good to hear…they are all gentlemen…but," April wiggled her eyes and Cass paled slightly at what April could be cooking up.

"Listen Cass they are like my brothers, I love and adore them all but…I am curious…"

"About…what it looks like?" Cassidy felt shy all of a sudden, adjusting her seating position atop the mattress before laying on her side, her fingers playing with the covers. April giggled before laying beside Cass, playing with her hair.

"You don't need to tell me girlie, but know that I am always here to talk," April smiled, tapping Cass's nose with a 'boop.' With a strangled giggle, Cassidy locked eyes with April as her face became beat red. She continued to play with the fabric that dropped over the mattress, tracing over the small, geometric patterns of the gray comforter.

"Well actually…."

"Raph, we gotta call Leo," Casey yelled

"We got this!" Raphael pummeled his way through the growing onslaught of foot ninjas.

"Raph!" Casey growled as he was kicked in the gut and thrown back against the rooftop shed. Raphael's adrenaline was pumping as he saw red. They had fallen into a trap as his blood washed down his body with the rain.

"Argh!" Raphael yelled again before he clicked the distress button on his belt before he was hit by a thick dart with a mysterious purple liquid seeping into his bloodstream. The world went dark. The last scene was of Casey yelling and making his way towards him.

"LEO!" Donnie yelled as the distress signal from his red-banded brother echoed through the lair.

"MIKEY!" Donatello rang out again as he gathered his brother's location before grabbing his tech and fastening it to his utility belts.

"What is it Don," Leo called, having received the distress signal as well, both him and Mikey walked into the main part of the den to meet up with Donnie. Mikey had a slightly worried look on his face. Each of the brother's were slightly worried because it was unlike Raphael to send out a distress signal. Being one of the most stubborn of the brother's, if Raphael got into something he'd also be the one to end it. This known fact was a worry for the brothers but also a worry for April. April knew that Casey went out tonight with Raph and April also knew that the two were known for finding troubles quickly.

"It's Raph," Donnie locked eyes with Leo, then with Mikey before each brother left to do what was required for them to leave and get their brother. Leo disappeared to the weapons wall while Mikey disappeared into the dojo then deposited his items into the truck in the garage. Donatello was getting all the necessary tech ready for the night.

"Donnie," he turned towards the small, quiet plea of Cassidy, who now stood atop the balcony that led to his brother's rooms. He couldn't quite meet her eye, he was worried for his brother and also worried about what this could do to Cassidy.

She gripped the metal rail with worry, both her and April heard Donnie yell for his brothers, worry etched in his voice. Her heart plummeted as soon as she heard him say Raph's name, the metal of the rail now dug into her palms.

"It'll be okay Cass. I'll call if we need anything. In the meantime…" Donnie trailed off as he finished faceting the last few pieces of tech to his belt and shoving a few items into the deep pockets of his cargo pants. Donnie looked back up and locked eyes with April before nodding his head in a distant motion to where April moved. Walking down the steep metal steps before following Donnie into the garage. That alone, the defining silence plummeted Cass's heart farther, she gazed down towards the den again to meet the baby blue eyes of the orange-banded brother.

"Cass, c'mere," Mikey beckoned, to which Cassidy reluctantly let go of the metal rail before she made haste down the steps. Cassidy was trying not to think of what could have brought Raph to click the distress signal but the second that Mikey wrapped her up in his strong arms, her vulnerability reared its ugly head.

"He's a tough one Cass," Mikey cooed as he squeezed her tighter and all Cass could muster was a small chuckle in response. Michelangelo knew that her chuckle did not meet her eyes and he was worried that she would seclude back into herself. He couldn't stand to see her like this and if his brother was okay, he'd kick his shell himself for putting her through this.

"Alright Mikey, time to head out," Leo called from the entrance of the garage, making a slow nod towards Cassidy before he turned back into the garage.

"That's my cue babycakes, think of us?"

"Always Mikey," Cass offered as she watched him make one final wave before he bounded towards the exit. Just then, April walked back into the den, her eyes were hard and staring forward. The two women in question looked to one another before each, in their own right, stepped to the other and embraced in a hug. April was the first to let go,

"Alright, let me show you what we can do to help," April said before she made her way towards Don's wall of monitors where blue, orange and purple signals were headed to the flashing red signal on the map. Multiple screens showing what seemed to be tracking vitals, times, locations and coordinates. Cassidy's mind was going a million miles a minute but she shut it off, she was to remain focused on the task at hand. Which, currently, was to make sure their boys came home safe.

"Ugh! You are fucking HEAVY!" Casey huffed as he attempted to lift Raphael into a sitting position. The large brute was out cold, Casey took the needle out of Raph's bicep and tucked it away in his jacket before calling Donnie.

"Don!"

"Casey, we got Raph's signal, we'll be there in 3 minutes," hearing Don say that gave Casey some hope as he watched five more foot ninjas land atop the roof.

"Can't get enough of 'ol Casey Jones huh!?" He bellowed before he left Raph and ran towards the dumb ninjas. Casey thought that they'd get better but they were more of a hindrance now.

"Come to papa!" Casey looked over as he saw Mikey tuck and roll, taking out two ninjas in the process.

"Hell yeah!" Casey yelled as another wave of soldiers littered the roof as Leo and Donnie both showed up. Donnie sprinted over towards Raphael where Casey was brought back to give Donnie the needle that Raph was hit with.

"Don, this was shot into Raph's arm and it knocked him out, what ya think?" Casey yelled to Donnie as he protected the red and purple banded brothers.

"I think it's from Stockman, the color is unmistakable. I won't know until I run some tests." Donnie tucked the needle away into his protective case inside one of his pockets. He checked over Raphael's vitals and his brother was still breathing but something was off. Donnie couldn't quite figure out what it was but there was something interfering with his readings which concerned him.

"GOONGALA!" Casey screamed as he ran back into the fight, helping the blue and orange clad brothers in knocking down the onslaught of warriors. This alone baffled Casey, the foot hasn't been this persistent in awhile and he was at a loss as to why they ambushed him and Big Red.

"Casey Jones." A foot soldier called from behind him before he was knocked over the back of the head causing his vision to blur before he rounded on the black-clad ninja.

"That's my name, don't wear it out!" He grunted as he delivered a heavy swing of his own with his trusty hockey stick.

"Where is Cassidy Holloway." Casey froze. How do they know that name? Casey growled as he lunged forward again, bringing an end to the warrior's life. Raph is going to be pissed if he finds out about the Foot knowing that Cassidy exists. Casey suddenly felt all too warm as a slice slid across his midsection. Looking down, he gripped his stomach as the deep crimson covered his fingers. Grunting, he carried on, knowing damn well he wasn't going to go out like this. He battled on, alongside the brothers, questions filling his thick head.

"DONNIE!" Leonardo yelled out, bringing the purple terrapin out of his reverie as he whipped around to face his blue brother. Once meeting his eyes, he was brought back to the reality of the ambush as unyielding waves of foot soldiers flooded the clustered roof. A deep groan echoed out into the brisk night air and Donnie looked back towards his largest brother. Raphael's eyes fluttered open, amber eyes focused on his genius brother before he heard one of the soldiers mutter a name. Cassidy's name. His heart dropped and he was instantly filled with a blinding rage. He lifted up, barely able to stand but made his way to hit anything or anyone in his range.

"Raphael! We're on the move!" Leonardo growled out as his hand gripped his brother's shoulder, signaling to him that it was time to go.

"Let's fall out!" The blue clad brother ordered as Donnie leapt towards their truck in the alley below. Raphael stumbled but he allowed Casey and Michelangelo to help him down towards the truck while Leo scanned the area before following suit. They gathered into the truck, Donnie sending a message to April to get the needle room ready to patch up any injuries.

"It's Donnie," April called from the couch as she felt her phone vibrate and her watch glow purple. April stood from the couch and headed towards the needle room, causing Cassidy's heart to plummet.

"What can I do?" Cass stated, wanting to be helpful in any way that she could be.

"Grab the extra wrappings, medical tape and staples from the top drawer in Don's lab. That's where he keeps the extras." She called as she busied herself with clearing the metal medical table, moving the leather strappings around before moving it towards the center in the small room.

Following orders, Cassidy grabbed the necessary items from the top drawer of the large flat file drawers in Donnie's lab. Taking two, large, deep breaths before she righted her shoulders and walked back towards the needle room. Her mind was made up, she was going to do what was needed to help this family that is so near and dear to her heart.

It only took about ten minutes after Donnie's message before the boys filed into the lair. Raphael was stumbling alongside Mikey while Casey was being dragged towards the needle room. Cassidy felt a sudden sense of relief upon looking at Raphael but the second she saw Casey and his leather jacket stiff with dried crimson, she looked towards April. April was silent, but her eyes said it all. The pure panic was etched on her features before her mask covered her face as she followed Donnie and Casey into the needle room. Michelangelo deposited Raphael onto the couch before going to the kitchen and getting the water that Donatello needed. Leo paced about before heading towards the dojo. Raphael groaned as he leaned his head on the back of the couch, his body looking depleted and tired. Cassidy was unsure how to go about approaching him but as he rolled his head to the side, peaking his golden amber eye at her, she couldn't help it. She plopped beside him on the couch, her hands going straight to his shoulders before grasping down his biceps, inspecting all of him. No words were exchanged between the two as he sat silently and watched her. Feeling her tiny hands encapsulate his entire being, grazing over each available surface until she was satisfied. Her fingers scurried over a mysterious bump, her index finger swirled around the swollen skin. Her brows knitted in worry as she looked up at him, his side smile calmed her beating heart as his right hand came about and cupped her cheek. Cassidy broke their silence, grabbing the hand against her cheek to wrap her fingers around his own, wanting to keep his warmth as close as possible.

"Are you okay?"

"Am now," he garbled tiredly, his eyes becoming heavy as his thumb lazily stroked her soft cheek. He seemed too relaxed at this moment, almost peaceful. She felt his hand slack against her cheek as a soft snore escaped him as she watched his body visually decompress. Standing from the couch, she took the blanket from the armrest and dropped it over him as his snoring continued. Cassidy walked around the couch, kissing his crown before making her way towards the needle room. Once she broke past the threshold of the doorway she felt a part of her break inside at what she saw.

Donnie was covered in Casey's blood as the human male laid on the cool metal table, April gripping his hand as Mikey stood solemnly at Casey's feet. Donnie was bent over, needle in his hand as layers of dried gauze was strewn over the metal tray. He continued to stitch up the delicate flesh of their dear friend as April continued to stroke Casey's hand. Cassidy placed a gentle hand to April shoulder before dipping to place her cheek against her crown. She felt April shudder with a silent sob where Mikey leant forward and grabbed for April's other hand. The room was quiet, the only sound was coming from Donatello's steady hands as he finished the last few stitches over the large incision.

"He will be okay, we will keep an eye on the stitches. April you and I will keep watch over his wound to make sure no infections spread. It was a precise cut, it'll take time to heal due to it cutting through the top layer of muscle but he should heal well." Donnie concluded as he swiped at his forehead, putting the needle and thread back on the metal tray before removing his rubber gloves. Cassidy realized that Donnie had to tie two of the five fingers together to better fit his dexterous hands. It was silent until they heard a familiar yell.

"Argh!" Cassidy and Mikey were the first to bolt from the needle room back into the den. Raphael was leaning over gripping his left bicep, grunting in pain.

"What's wrong Red!" Cassidy questioned as she ran, kneeling in front of him, gripping his knees to gaze up at him. His beautiful amber eyes were scrunched in pain as he rubbed at his swollen arm. Donatello appeared, an empty syringe in his hand as he looked back over the couch to Leo and Mikey. Each brother nodded before they lunged at their largest brother.

"Argh! Get the fuck off me!" Raphael yelled as Leo and Mikey grabbed a respective shoulder and forced him to sit back on the couch.

"Don't let go." Donatello directed towards Cassidy who had her hands still gripped over the red-banded brother's knees to help keep him still.

"Breathe Raph." Donnie said as he slapped the lower bicep before sinking the syringe into the taught flesh.

Raphael's eyes went wide as the needle sunk into his skin but he was quickly brought back to reality as he felt the small woman between his thighs stroke the skin at his knees. His mind went blank as his head lifted, locking eyes with the small woman below him. No sooner did Donnie extract the needle from his brother's arm did the large terrapin throw himself off the couch and over the tiny woman. Shielding her away, a deep guttural growl left him as he bared his teeth. A small gasp escaped her before all she saw was a flash of green, feeling the stiff plastron against her cheek as his strong arms enclosed around her curvy form. Casting a deathly glare to his brothers before a deep sound, one resembling a diesel engine echoed through the lair. Raphael's eyes have gone black as he locked eyes with each brother in the room.

"Mine."
