Year 2138

Todoroki Household

Izuku Todoroki was content.

He wasn't happy in any sense of the word, but he wasn't feeling particularly sad either.

He was just content.

There he was seated on the couch, his legs tucked close and chin resting on his knees. His crimson red hair with flecks of snow white on it covering his forehead and stormy gray eyes, left pupil in the shape of an 'x' and the right pupil in the shape of an 'o'.

Next to him, on his left, sat his mother, Rei Todoroki. Her silky snow-white hair cascading past her shoulders as her tired gray eyes similar to Izuku's in color stare lovingly at her children.

On her left sat the only other person on the couch, Izuku's younger twin brother, Shoto Todoroki.

His hair and eyes were the opposite of Izuku, Snow white hair with flecks of red and his turquoise eyes, full of awe as he watched an interview of the #1 hero, All Might, on the TV screen.

"It is true that children often inherit their quirks from their parents…. but the most important thing is what you make of it. Regardless of your History, you decide how you use it. That's what I mean when I say, 'I AM HERE!'. Only you can decide to become a hero, no one else." All Might said before flashing a big smile and a thumbs up.

Shoto squealed in joy before turning to his mother with a hopeful look.

"Mom is what he said true. Can I really be a hero?"

Rei smiled kindly at Shoto and pulled him into a hug.

"Of course you can, Sho-kun. You can be whatever you want to be."

Shoto flashed a bright smile before looking down at his palms as they were coated in a small sheen of ice and frost.

Izuku smiled at the scene in front of him. The smile then turned into a mischievous smirk as he ignited his palms in a small fire.

"Yeah Sho, we will be the best heroes ever!" he yelled before he leapt at his brother and tackled him off the couch.

Rei let out a small giggle as she watched her 2 little boys roll around on the floor together, play fighting and laughing happily.

Yeah, Izuku was definitely content.

Year 2138

Todoroki Household

3 days later

Izuku was no longer content.

Not at all.

As a matter of fact, he was very, very angry

He looked relatively the same as he did 3 days ago. Well, if you ignored the bandages the completely covered bother his arms, from fingertip to just above his elbow.

Izuku was watching from the front porch of his house as his mother was loaded into the backseat of a car. She didn't put up a fight and simply allowed the 2 men in nurses uniforms to guide her into the car.

Next to him was Shoto who had his left eye wrapped similarly to Izuku's arms. He was no longer smiling either, he was crying now. Next to Shoto were his 2 remaining older siblings, Fuyumi and Natsuo, and next to them was their father, the #2 heroes of Japan, Enji Todoroki, AKA Endeavor.

Yes, Izuku definitely wasn't happy.

He was really, really, pissed.

His mother had thrown a pot of boiling hot water that would have been used for dinner at Izuku and Shoto. That's why they had the bandages on, to cover the burnt skin up while they healed.

But Izuku wasn't angry at his mother, no he still loved his mother a lot.

No, he was angry at the person who made her do that, even if it was indirectly.

Izuku was angry at his father.

After the car had driven out of sight, Enji turned around and started walking inside.

"Izuku, Shoto, come, we must get back to your training."

Fuyumi looked down sadly while Natsuo scowled at him. Shoto didn't move and just stood there, crying.

Izuku didn't move either, but unlike Shoto, his wasn't crying. As a matter of fact, he hadn't cried at all while watching his mother be taken away.

Izuku's head was facing the ground, his clenched fists had smoke wafting off them.

"Why?" Izuku said. It was barely above a whisper, but everyone heard him loud and clear.

Fuyumi, Natsuo, and Shoto looked at him in shock while Enji went stiff.

Enji turned around and started walking back until he stopped in front of Izuku

"What did you just say to me boy?" Enji growled while glaring down at his son

"Why on earth would I listen to what you tell me to do?!" Izuku yelled as he snapped his head up to glare back at him.

Before anyone could react, Izuku's head had been snapped to the side as the sound of a slap echoed through the air. Izuku was shocked as he could feel the stinging on his cheek and looked up to see that it was his dad that had hit him.

"You and Shoto are my greatest masterpieces. The ones who will surely surpass All Might. You do not get to question the reason you were created in the first place. Now come, we must train."

Izuku and Shoto were too shocked to fight back as they were dragged towards the Dojo they had in their house.

Fuyumi had her hands covering her mouth as tears started to well up in her eyes. Natsuo just glared at his father's back as his little brothers were dragged away.

"Who the hell does he think he is, hitting little Izuku like that." Natsuo growled

Fuyumi could no longer hold it back anymore, after everything that had happened recently. She sank to her knees and started crying as Natsuo did his best to comfort her.

Year 2149

UA High School

11 years later

Izuku and Shoto were stood at the front gates of the prestigious UA High School. They had grown a lot in the past 11 years, both now standing at a comfortable 5'9'' and were well built with lean but muscular bodies. Shoto's left eye was no longer covered in bandages which kept the burn scar that covered the upper left side of his face hidden. Izuku still had the bandages wrapped around his arms which were covering 2 burn scars similar to Shoto's that covered his arms.

"So….you excited?" Izuku asked Shoto before stifling a yawn

"No, this is stupid." He replied simply

"Well, this will be our first time going to school like normal people. Who knows, maybe it'll be fun."

"You don't believe that and you know it."

Izuku let out a snort of laughter before he put his hand in his pockets and walked through the gates.

The 2 Todoroki's were seated in a large auditorium with 100 other people, all of them competing for the 8 available recommendation spots. Shoto was seated straight, his arms resting in his lap. Izuku was seated to Shoto's right, farther into the row. He was slouched in his seat, his arm on the arm rest with his head resting in his palm. His eyes were closed, and he was letting out small noises.

…..

Noises?

…..

Snores?

…..

Snores.

Izuku Todoroki was asleep.

In a place so full of tension one could probably cut it with a knife, Izuku Todoroki was fast asleep.

Shoto had a small, almost unnoticeable sweat drop as his brother's posture and slight snoring had drawn some eyes towards them.

Shoto didn't like when too many people looked at him. It made him nervous.

No one needed to know that though. No one other than Izuku.

Shoto was knocked out of his thoughts when he heard a snort of laughter.

He looked on the other side of his sleeping brother to see someone on the other side of his brother to see a girl. She was rather slim, with blonde hair and violet eyes. She had a small sketch book in her lap with a pencil in its binder.

"What's so funny?" Shoto deadpanned

The girl continued to laugh for a bit before she calmed down and answered,

"Sorry, sorry. It's just that, everyone here is so cocky and are constantly having dick measuring contests that it's hilarious seeing someone who cares so little they fell asleep."

Shoto blinked slowly as the odd girl continued to laugh before a small, unnoticeable smile crossed his lips.

Before he could say anything in reply, a literal wall of sound slammed into him with the subtlety of a drunk Godzilla.

"IF YOU'RE HYPED FOR THE EXAM, LET ME HEAR YOU SAY YEAH!?"

If you couldn't have guessed, Present Mic was at the stage to explain the rules of the practical test.

Shoto looked over to his right,

Izuku was still asleep.

He hadn't even moved.

Shoto has now given up

XOXOXOXOXOXOXOX

Shoto stood at one of the 2 city gates that were used for the recommendation exams. Everyone stood sparsely apart, sending scalding looks and glares towards anyone who met their eyes.

Shoto sighed.

Most of these overly confident idiots wouldn't even get to see the UA school uniform.

Except for maybe the tall and muscular boy with an absolutely humongous grin on his face, and the raven-haired girl with a ponytail and very, very, large ti-

Shoto cut off his train of thought as he looked away from the girl with a small blush on his face.

"ARE YA READY KIDS?!" Present Mic's voice blasted across the cityscape

No one answered, again.

"I LOVE YOUR ENTHUSIASM! WELL THEN GET TO IT YOUNG HEROES. DESTROY AS MANY ROBOTS AS YOU CAN IN THE NEXT 10 MINUTES. GOOD LUCK!"

Everyone took off as fast as they could, trying to get past everyone else to get into the city first. The tall muscular boy summoned as small tornado beneath his feet and blasting off at high speeds towards the city. The girl with the ponytail rode into the city on a motorcycle and-

Wait.

A MOTORCYCLE?!

'Where the hell did she hide that?' Shoto thought in incredulity.

He blinked as he processed the evident miracle he had just witnessed before he sighed in exasperation

He was right

This was stupid

These were Shoto's last thoughts as he froze over completely and shattered into microscopic shards of ice, no evidence he had ever even been there left.

XOXOXOXOXOXOXOX

Izuku let out a small yawn as he rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. He had been told what the exam was about. Destroy as many of the villain robots as you can in the 10 minutes of allotted time.

Robots that had shoulder mounted missile launchers with enough concussive force to blow a concrete wall into rubble.

Robots that had arachnid-like limbs and scorpion tails that could toss a minivan like a paper ball.

Yes, a very safe and controlled environment.

Good for the kids, y'know.

Izuku shoved his hands in his pocket as he stood amidst all the other examinees, his shoulders slouched, eyelids sagging, and a bored look on his face.

Izuku staggered half a step as someone bumped into his shoulder.

He looked up and saw a towering mass of muscle, he had a slightly yellow tint to his skin and yellow eyes. His nose was rather flat, and he had a scowl on his face.

"What do you think you're doing, you damned idiot?"

Izuku quirked an eyebrow in curiosity as he pondered the boy's words.

"Izuku Todoroki, why'd you wanna know?"

The boy's eyes widened before narrowing again.

"So, you think just cause you're related to a pro hero, you're all the shit? Unlike you, I didn't use my daddy's money and had to have a pro hero recognize my greatness."

Izuku snorted at the boy's words and this evidently pissed him off.

He raised a hand to strike at Izuku's head but was stopped as a pair of slender arms wrapped around his bicep.

"My, my. What did he do to earn the ire of a big, strong man like you?" a smooth voice said

Izuku watched in amusement as the giant lemon got smooth talked by this person and walked off with a dopey grin on his face.

Izuku walked up to the person who had helped him. He recognized them as the person who he noticed sitting next to him in the auditorium. Their long blonde hair now tied up into a ponytail, extenuating their dazzling purple eyes.

"I can't help but want to see his reaction when he finds out you're a guy." Izuku comments of handedly

The person who had helped him, now figured out to be a male turned around sharply to look at Izuku in shock.

"Ho- how did you-"

Izuku cut him off.

"How did I know you were a guy? I can sense body heat and men usually generate slightly more body heat than women."

The blonde simply stood in shock as they were given the starting signal and Izuku disappeared in a swirl of flames.

He shook himself from his stupor before pulling out his sketchbook. He opened up to one of the pages that already had a drawing on it. It was a sketch of a bird.

In an instant, the drawing jumped off the page and rapidly grew in size. Where there was once empty space, there was now a black and white bird that was big enough to carry 2 people on its back.

The blonde put his sketchbook under his arm and jumped onto the large bird's back and it promptly flew off.

'What an odd guy.' were his last thoughts as he flew into the city scape
