Chapter 103 Black Hole

Ash manages to defeat all three girls' Pokemon with just his six Pokemon, and he doesn't seem to care as he is being controlled by Team Meteor. Serena, Lillie, and Luna can only look in shock.

Serena: No way...we lost...

Lillie: But we have the number advantage...

Luna: So this is it... But this was only the natural outcome.

Zero: There is NO standing up to us anymore! With Ash on our side, we might as well be invincible!

Bennett is just staying silent, as he doesn't know what to say to Zero and he is a little sad that Luna lost.

Luna: Are you so sure of that? After all, my only role here is to soften Ash enough for my parents and my auntie to overcome. We will triumph as a family.

Serena and Lillie realize that they still have Delia, Radomus, and Serra, and now Ash's Pokemon are weakened, they can try to defeat Ash and free him from control.

Luna: If you will?

Gardevoir: Don't worry, dear Luna~ Even through Ash, there's no way we'll lose to these creeps~ Right, Master? Mistress?

Radomus: I suppose it's our turn after all. Miss Voclain, may I have the honor of this battle?

Serra: Last time a man asked me that, he left the arena crying.

Radomus: That's a risk I'm interested in taking right now.

Serra: Then let's hope you can satisfy.

Delia: Adam! What are you talking about? Even though she is my sister, you shouldn't have flirted with her!

Radomus: Don't worry, love. My heart is still yours.

Bennett: Seriously, Mother? I'm going to be sick here. And this situation is stacked. Ash, use these!

Bennett takes out the bunch of Full Restores and throws them at Ash, who manages to grab them and use them on his Pokemon.

Bennett: And, Zero, please actually do something already.

Zero: That's your cue, Ash! Go GET THEM!

Serena and Lillie frown because giving Ash the Full Restores to heal his Pokemon means that their damage for this battle has been down to nothing. Delia goes for Charizard, Mr. Mime, Zoroark, Delphox, Mega Absol, and Lunala to battle, Radomus has Clefable, Bisharp, Metagross, Alakazam, Espeon, and Mega Gardevoir to battle. Serra has Alolan Ninetales, Alolan Sandslash, Bronzong, Jynx, Glaceon, and Froslass to battle.

Serena: Ms. Ketchum has her own Lunala?

Lillie: No way...how was she able to get a Legendary Pokemon like that?

Luna: Mother, Father, and Auntie are very strong, I'm sure that they can save Ash from the darkness of control with their power combined.

But even though there are Legendary Pokemon helping out, Ash manages to win against every Pokemon with the 6 Pokemon in the team. Mostly because of the battle experiences and the strategy of never giving up causing Ash to unleash his Pokemon's full power. Serena and Lillie know that the six Pokemon have been Ash's strongest members of the team because of how much time they spent with each other and how they manage to overcome every obstacle in the way.

Serra: Just what is that Trainer made of...

Radomus: Providence, I suspect.

Delia: Ash is also the Alolan Champion, his skills are strong, but I didn't expect him to be this strong...

Luna: I see... So in the end, it still hasn't been enough.

Bennett: Ash performs even better than I expected. Perhaps I've underestimated that woman.

Zero: And it's all thanks to my PULSE! Zero, do not forget that I was the one who did the work. But it's okay, you helped a lot too!

Bennett: (Glares at Zero) And just what part of this are you proud of? None of this was necessary. You could have just put them to sleep from the start.

Zero: (Realizes that Bennett is right) Well, this was helpful to test-

Bennett: (Cuts off) Don't speak. The only thing that's been tested is your willingness to indulge.

Zero: I'm- I'm sorry, I don't understand...

Bennett: You've just been enjoying puppeting Ash around as an outlet for your frustrations with them.

Zero: That's- (Cuts off again by Bennett)

Bennett: Nothing is gained by battling now when we'll just put them to rest anyway.

Zero: But you said-

Bennett: I said to actually do something; not to waste time and jeopardize the PULSE's security in a 1-vs-6 scenario. I will take responsibility for the battle with Luna, but this fight served no other purpose than to stroke your own ego.

Zero: I just wanted to make sure Ash was fully under control...

Bennett: You wanted to feel that control. I assume because you've lacked autonomy over your own body for so long. Am I wrong?

Zero frowns and stays silent as he doesn't know how to answer, and the other girls are confused.

Lillie: What does he mean by that?

Serena: I have no idea...

Delia: According to Ash, that man there actually has two girls' spirits inside him, together, they are called ZEL, and they are the ones who created the PULSES.

Serena: How was that even possible? Three souls in a body?

Lillie: From the looks of it, he doesn't seem to have them in his body right now...

Bennett: And I read your file. You were just a grunt before joining with those girls, correct? Not an effective one either. They were your only chance to stand out, which is why you cling to them even now. The kind of behavior you've demonstrated today exemplifies your incompetence. You let your emotions get in the way of your outcome. Until you learn to set ambitions aside and truly focus on your self and your goals, you will never change.

Serra: (Surprised to hear what Bennett has said) Did that missionary teach you that?

Bennett: No, Mother. That man has done little more for me than place me in footsteps my feet are not fit to fill. Even now, I understand that I cannot hope to fully live up to the title of Elite Four. In realizing this, I learned to step back and take a more serious approach to self-improvement. I believe the results should speak for themselves.

Serra: The results don't speak louder than you still sitting on the wrong side of the coin.

Bennett: Is it wrong to return one's debts?

Radomus: The end of a means does not make its meaning end. Are you sure you are not running from your own choices?

Bennett: Zero, this has dragged on for far too long already. If you truly want to make yourself useful, put them all to sleep already so we can move on.

Zero: (Frowns) Got it... You'll all be out of our way for good now.

Gardevoir: (Steps forward) You won't...

Luna: Gardevoir? You are already injured from that fight; there is no need to push yourself further.

Gardevoir: They would put Master to sleep... Toss him aside and never let him wake up again... Maybe dispose of him outright after what he did... I'll... (Yells) I'll never, ever let that happen!

She raises her hands and she is starting to form a giant shadow.

Serena: What is she doing...

Luna: As you may know, Gardevoir are fiercely loyal to their Trainers. It is said that they will do anything in their power to protect their Trainer, even if it costs them their own life.

Radomus: (Widens his eyes) Gardevoir-

Gardevoir: Don't try to stop me! This is what I need to do. For you.

Radomus: Rather than doing something dramatic- though I know you are such a fan of that- Let us have faith in the world and our other companions.

Gardevoir: Who is left?! Who can stop Ash? Who won't just be put to sleep?!

Luna: Gardevoir, please...

Gardevoir: No, this is the only way! I'll destroy that machine altogether! This is my purpose!

Delia: This is not your-

Gardevoir: Yes! It is! To make sure you lived on- All those years ago... This is what you asked me to do.

Radomus: (Turns to Delia) Delia?

Bennett: No harm will come to your master, Gardevoir. You have my word.

Gardevoir: You think we can believe you after everything?!

Bennett: He will sleep, and nothing more. When it is over, he will wake. I do not wish to see you hurt either.

Gardevoir: LIAR! After what you've done to Luna and Ash, and what Team Meteor intends to do after this... You want to make allowances now!? I'll never believe that!

Then the shadow on Gardevoir's hand becomes bigger and bigger.

Serra: (Gasps) This energy...

Luna: In the most dire of circumstances, it is said that Gardevoir can use all of its power to go so far as even creating a small black hole.

Gardevoir: That's right! No matter how strong that PULSE may be, I can erase it altogether!

Bennett: (Turns to the admin with panic) Zero!

Gardevoir: I can set this right... And I will!

Bennett: Let Cain go; seize her before it's too late!

Zero: On it!

Gardevoir: (Turns to Delia and Radomus) Mistress, Master- Whatever happens, please remember, I will always love you.

Bennett: ZERO!

Zero: I've got it!

But it turns out that the Black hole is getting bigger and bigger, and it is hard to control.

Zero: Are we too late?!

Bennett: Her energy is spiraling out of control... Everyone, get out of here!

Serena: What about Ash and the others?!

Bennett: There's no time- Ugh, Volcarona! Go already!

Just then, the black hole is finally done, and everyone manages to get out of the way, except for Ash, Cain, and Gardevoir, who have been swallowed by the black hole. Luna decides not to move as the black hole gets closer.

Luna: If you have ever walked into a class late, then you will know what it is like. Heads turn, eyes peel, You think of a thousand things that they did not, but feel them all the same. At that moment, you are the sole star in the sky. And they are trying to sleep. Expectation and anxiety are frequent guests at an otherwise unplanned tea party, And while their sugar sits untouched, the sun is setting far too slowly. Never soon enough, it will be time for them to go along their way. They will retire for the evening, home to their wives, to their children, Children who grow tired, Children who grow up asleep. But still, you must peel their eyes. There comes a time in every child's life when they must lay down their teaspoon, Pinch the corners of the fabric, And pull the tablecloth right away. Enough, She says, And follows the lights out. When there is only one path, there is only one way to go. And when, in the darkness, the path cannot be seen at all, Then you are free. For now, the time has come for me to follow my own infinity. Farewell, Mother. Farewell, Father. Farewell, Auntie. It has been like a dream.

Then Luna, with Shade appearing beside her, walks into the void, much to everyone's surprise.

And I'll end the chapter right here, as you can see, with Delia, Radomus, and Serra combined, Ash is still unbeatable. I know some of you might think I made Ash overpowered in this battle, but I want to do it because this battle is very important. And I have heard a lot of my friends that when they get to this part of the game, they have been in depression because of how hard it is to beat. I hope you like this chapter and the next chapter will be how Ash escapes the void.
