Hosu
Tenya was currently in full Hero attire and walking with his mentor Manuel. "I'm normally one of the Heroes that are waiting around for a call to come in, but things have been so hectic lately that I've been out and about around the clock."
"So, you're using street patrols to suppress crime." Iida reasoned.
"That's right!" Manuel responded. "I have to say, I didn't expect Ingenium's little brother to intern at my office this week. You're going to be a big help around here."
"He must be around here somewhere." Tenya thought. "I could be chasing a ghost in my time here, but I can't help wanting to pursue him because I can't forgive him for what he did to Tensei!"
Bar Hideout:Night…
Tomura, Kurogiri, the man whose voice alone comes through the monitor, and Piccolo were all waiting for Stain to give them an answer. After a few days with no contact, the Hero Killer had decided to see if it was worth joining.
"I get it." Stain assessed. "You must be the ones who attacked U.A. Now, you want to recruit me to build up your little group again."
"It'll be great." Shigaraki stated. "You've got so much experience."
"And what's your mission?" Stain questioned.
"For now, I really want to kill All Might." Tomura casually answered. "I like to destroy anything that makes me angry. A good example are those two brats there."
He showed a picture of a green haired boy and a black, spiky haired boy.
That answer did not please Stain. "I was a fool to think you could offer me anything. It turns out you're the type of person I hate most in this world." This answer confused Shigaraki. "The goals of your league are that of a child." He gripped the hilt of his blades and got ready to attack. "What meaning is there to kill him if you don't have real convictions?"
As Stain began to unsheathe his blades, Kurogiri stated his concerns to the man behind the screen. "Master, should I step in?"
"Let it happen." The man replied. "It's possible this is the only way he'll learn anything. He needs to think about the ways he must grow. How he can mature. Only then will he reach his potential."
"I'm in agreement." Piccolo crossed his arms. "It's about time the brat got a lesson beaten into him." He looked at Stain. "Do whatever you want; however, I will step in if you go for the kill."
With everyone's position on this encounter set up, it was time to let the event play out. Tomura didn't hesitate as he went for an attack. When he moved to where he saw Stain, the Hero Killer was already gone. Shigaraki heard Kurogiri grunt in pain, so he turned around.
He saw the void man had received a cut on his arm, and the Hero Killer was licking the blood from his weapon. Tomura turned around and attempted to grab Stain; however, the blade user easily avoided the attack before moving behind the boy.
As Shigaraki turned to face him again, the Hero Killer had taken a jagged knife out and forced the blade into the hand covered boy's right shoulder. While Tomura was distracted from the sudden pain, Stain pushed forcing the boy to the ground.
He then took a second, jagged blade out and held it to Shigaraki's neck. "So, you want me to be a part of you crumbling, little league; however, you won't accomplish anything if you don't have conviction and desire. Without those, you'll always be an aimless weakling who achieves nothing. That's how you got here."
"Hey now, you're being a little rough, aren't you?" Tomura tried to play it off calmly. "Kurogiri, take this guy back."
"I'm sorry, but I can't move." The void man struggled but was completely paralyzed. "It must be the Hero Killer's Quirk at work."
Piccolo remembered seeing that during the battle against Ingenium a few days ago.
"The word Hero has lost all meaning in this society." Stain preached. "The world is overrun with Fakes and criminals like you who chase petty dreams. They must all be purged."
The Hero Killer was about to go for Shigaraki's face, but Tomura grabbed the blade with his hand. "What do you think you're doing?" He sounded serious for once. "If you touch this palm, I'll kill you."
His actions backed up his words as the blade by his face was cracking from the decay. While Stain was surprised in this moment, it was more because he noticed something faint in Tomura's eyes.
"You sure talk a lot, Hero Killer. Conviction? Maybe I don't have anything as loaded as that. If I had to choose a desire though, yeah, it'd be killing All Might. If this world wants to worship trash like him, I'll destroy their beloved Symbol of Peace and crush them while they're in shock."
Stain was slightly stunned at what he heard but quickly snapped out of it when he jumped off Shigaraki.
He held his blade defensively, but the boy kept talking while scratching his chin on impulse causing blood to trickle down his arm. "You know, I was feeling pretty good for the past month and a half. Then, you go and do this. You should learn not to play with knives."
"I see your nature." The Hero Killer stated sounding almost impressed. "It seems our goals fundamentally oppose each other; however, this wasn't in vain. We agree that we need to destroy the present."
"I'm over this." Tomura stated annoyed. "Leave. Drop dead. I'm the kind of person you hate most, right?"
"I was testing your motives." Stain explained as he sheathed his weapon. "People always show their true colors when they're on the verge of death. It's abnormal, but there is desire. A warped sprout of conviction in you. How will it bloom in the end I wonder? Maybe I'll let you grow. If you don't turn out well, I'll take care of you later."
"You think you could get rid of me?" Shigaraki questioned.
Kurogiri was finally able to move. "I-I'm free."
"Kurogiri, someone as crazy as this would be nothing but a problem for the League of Villains." Tomura stated. "I can't believe I trusted Piccolo to find me someone useful."
"Please reconsider." Kurogiri recommended. "This man will be a great asset if he joins us. I'd say this was a success."
"My business here with you two is done, but before I leave…" Stain turned to Piccolo. "What is your conviction?"
Nobody moved for a few seconds as it was dead silent.
Then, Piccolo calmly stood and walked over to the Hero Killer. "I'll look you in the eyes and let you judge me." He maintained eye contact with the man. "My desire is to end the life of the Hero, Crane Master, and tear apart the society he values because he ended the life of my father."
"I see." Stain began. "You have a personal grudge against the man who killed your father, and believe your reasoning is justified by that fact. You also think that boy could be the answer to your second desire, but he needs to grow.
That's why you sought me out because you believe I can do this." Piccolo nodded, so Stain turned his attention to Kurogiri. "My business here is done. Now, you'll return me to Hosu." He licked his lips. "There are still several False Heroes I must attend to there."
"As you wish." Kurogiri opened a void next to Stain. "This will take you to a deserted section of the city. You will be free to do as you wish; however, should you change your mind and decide to join us, we will be in Hosu for the next few days."
Stain didn't answer and just walked through the portal leaving the three alone once more.
Piccolo looked at the boy. "Brat, if I were you, I'd reconsider my stance on that man." He walked away. "You need him if you want to accomplish anything."
Tomura silently stewed on those words, but his eyes did drift ever so slightly to the area from which Stain left.
Outside: Dawn…
Goku, Sen, Ojiro, and Hiryu all stood before their two mentors yawning as they'd been awoken just thirty minutes ago. The four students had been told to be ready and outside in their Hero costumes on the double. For some reason, there was a large milk truck before them.
"I didn't even know people still got milk this way." The students thought.
"Today we embark on your internships together." Roshi informed before grabbing a wooden crate from the truck and setting it on the ground. "Before we begin, there is something you four should understand about being Heroes."
"What is that?" Sen asked.
"When a Villain threatens the innocent, it is your duty to defend." Roshi informed. "These days, far too many Heroes want to accumulate power for the wrong reasons. Through those wrong reasons, Villainy slips through the cracks of Hero society.
Do you four understand?" The four boys nodded. "Very good. Now, I've taken the liberty of looking through any physical tests you boys have been involved in since entering U.A., and Ryukyu had these made through her contacts."
The Dragoon Heroine opened the box Roshi had grabbed revealing four, purple turtle shells of varying thickness and sizes. "These turtle shells are to always be worn by you four unless a crime or villain attack is happening. So, put them on."
The four boys moved to grab the shells only to stop upon realizing they were much heavier than they initially assumed.
"Gah, what's the deal with this?" Hiryu asked.
Ojiro was wide eyed. "These shells are heavy."
"These shells are useful tools for training." Roshi declared as the boys did end up putting them on as requested. "Now, with that out of the way, we want you boys to each grab a crate of milk from this truck. Every morning, all this week, it'll be our jobs to deliver milk."
Before they could ask, Ryukyu spoke up. "I always do this training with my interns, so people know when this comes to town." She and Roshi grabbed a crate themselves. "Now, let's get to it unless you boys have any more questions."
They each grabbed a crate before following their mentors throughout the city.
"Okay, I get the shells, but why are we delivering milk?" Hiryu asked. "For that matter, why are we delivering milk in our Hero costumes?"
Ryukyu and Roshi stared at the interns to see if any of them understood. Eventually, they determined that Goku and Sen seemed to, but neither obviously wanted to say anything as they were the mentors.
Roshi eventually spoke up. "Look around you and tell me what you see."
The hero hopefuls did so and saw the civilians that were out at this time. A few of them were waving towards the entire group with large smiles on their faces.
"They're waving?" Ojiro hesitantly answered.
"Close but not quite." Ryukyu answered. "They are happy. While we don't always go out in costume, it has a purpose. Whether it be exercising like this or going on patrol, it gives the civilians a sense of peace."
"To know that the heroes are always around if they need to ask for help makes them feel safe." Roshi added.
All four students, whether they understood or not, took the information in.
"What about criminals and villains?" Hiryu was still a bit skeptical. "If you're always going out on patrol, a smart one would simply learn your schedule. Then, they'd act."
"That's why I have my sidekicks." Ryukyu giggled. "I also don't just have them do one patrol at a certain time. I have multiple. Of course, there are other Heroes in the area who can help cover any areas we miss. Hero agencies do talk and communicate with each other for a lot of things."
That answer satisfied everyone, but especially Hiryu.
Ryukyu's Gym: Later…
After delivering milk, the interns were escorted to Ryukyu's gym. It was located underground and was massive in size. There were separate sections for exercise machines, sparring dummies, and some punching bags. Currently, none of them cared about that.
The interns had been told to surround the Retired Hero and come at him with everything they had except their Quirks. This was meant to be a test of just how skilled they were in combat while Ryukyu stood back to watch. The four students observed Roshi carefully.
Then, Goku was the first to move. He charged at the martial arts master telegraphing he'd throw a punch only to feign into a kick at the last second. Roshi effortlessly caught the leg, picked him up by it, slammed him into the ground, and threw him at Hiryu.
Both ended up sprawled out on the ground. This prompted Sen and Ojiro to charge him together. Roshi read their movements before avoiding the punch and kick, respectively, thrown his way. He then moved swiftly elbowing Ojiro in the stomach and hurling his body into Sen.
Goku and Hiryu charged him together and threw punches at the same time. Roshi spun around kicking Goku's arm into Hiryu's sending them both crashing to the ground. This is how training proceeded for a full hour. None of them could land a hit no matter how many of them attacked.
Every time more than one of them did charge in, Roshi would use one of them like a weapon against the other. He knew how to effectively transfer any momentum they threw his way into another. Eventually, Ojiro, Sen, and Hiryu were laid out while Goku was on his knees.
"Technique is important as I've just demonstrated." Roshi finally stated as he relaxed his stance. "For those with less combat centric Quirks, it can be the only thing which saves you against a Villain. For those with combat-oriented Quirks, it can only accentuate you.
For the remaining five days you four have, we will spend hours, after milk deliveries, drilling as much of my martial arts into you as possible. For now, take a break. Then, we will be moving onto training your Quirks."
All the students groaned in relief at not immediately having to jump into something. In this moment, all of them could agree that Roshi was a monster when it came to martial arts. Even Goku, who came out of it the best of them, agreed.
"Ryukyu!" A familiar voice called out causing the interns to look towards the Dragoon Heroine as a blue blur zoomed up to her. "It's good to see you! What have you been doing? Oh, is that Muten Roshi! Hi Roshi! Oh, is that Goku to! Hi Goku! Who are those other boys?"
The woman that was blasting question after question towards Ryukyu was in fact Nejire Hado. She immediately ran over to the interns and began invading each of their personal spaces, even Goku, as she spoke rapidly.
"I'm so glad you decided to intern here Goku. There's so much I can teach you about Quirks like ours." She ran up to Ojiro. "Oh, your Quirk has something to do with that tail, right? It looks strong."
She ran up to Hiryu. "What's your Quirk? Oh, I like how you have your hair in a pony tail." She then ran up to Sen. "You look kind of plain compared to the rest. Does that have something to do with your Quirk?"
All four boys were now standing with Ojiro, Sen, and Hiryu unsure what to make of this. Goku just smiled, but before he could say anything, their upperclassman was grabbed by the scruff of her neck. It was Ryukyu who looked like she was holding a misbehaving kitten.
"Nejire, what did I tell you about personal space?" Ryukyu admonished her.
Nejire smiled sheepishly at that. "Sorry Ryukyu, but I'm curious about all of them and super excited that Goku is actually here!"
Ryukyu sighed as she set the girl down and addressed the interns. "Boys, this is Nejire Hado. She is a third-year student of UA and is here for her work-study. Nejire, you already know Goku, but the others are Mashairao Ojiro, Sen Kaibara, and Hiryu Rin."
"Nice to meet you." Nejire waved with a cheery smile at the three later boys.
They ended up returning it as. Despite the rather erratic words earlier, she did seem nice.
"I thought she was your sidekick at first." Ojiro admitted.
That made Ryukyu smile with some mirth.
"With how often she's come to Ryukyu for internship and work-study, she might as well be." Roshi informed as he approached.
"By the way, Nejire isn't simply some third year." Goku started. "She's a member of what's called The Big Three of UA. They're three third-year students that have skills which could rival a pro."
That made all three boys, even Sen, stare at the third year in awe.
"Now that Nejire is here, we can get started on training your Quirks." Ryukyu informed. "Hiryu, you'll be with me, Goku will go with Nejire, and Ojiro and Sen shall go with Roshi."
The interns went with who they were assigned to.
Goku and Nejire
Nejire clapped once they were alone. "Alright, let's get started!" She pointed at the intern. "I want you to show me everything you can currently do with your energy Quirk. Don't be afraid to use any of it as this place has been designed to handle power."
"First, it seems to passively make me stronger, faster, and more durable." Goku then lifted off the ground. "I can also fly; however, I'm still working on perfecting it." He landed before forming energy spheres in both his hands. "This was the first thing I managed to do.
They can be slammed into people or thrown as projectiles." He began glowing with energy for a moment. "Barrier!" The yellow dome appeared around him. "I also have this defensive technique." He dispelled it. "So far, it can protect me from 1 attack before it shatters."
He reared back his fist and produced the dragon from his energy before punching it into a wall. "Dragon Fist!" He then backed off and cupped his hands. "Kamehameha!" He blasted his energy into the same spot. "Those two are the moves I focused on for the Sports Festival."
"Wow, that's all so cool!" Nejire declared before remembering what she was supposed to do. "That said, I was able to notice that energy was wafting off of you as soon as you bypassed the spheres. I think that speaks to a lack of control."
"A lack of control?" Goku asked.
"Yeah." Nejire nodded. "You may not have noticed it because you have a lot of your energy Quirk, but it looked to me like you were losing energy through your larger scaled moves. That means an important step would be having you obtain control over your energy.
I'm certain that would make your moves more powerful. My Quirk, Wave Motion, also take a lot of stamina, so having control over it greatly decreases the drawback. I'm certain it'll be the same for you. Have you done anything to garner control?"
"I've practiced with Dragon Fist and Kamehameha a lot." Goku replied.
"I see." Nejire approached a nearby dummy while beckoning Goku over. "He's one of my techniques I developed in the beginning once Ryukyu told me the same thing." Her pointer finger began to glow with her Quirk. "First, concentrate your power into one point.
Because you're not expanding your energy to go larger, it'll be easier to notice the lost energy, and easier to eventually reduce it." She pointed her finger and let the beam rip as it tore through the dummy's chest leaving a hole. "I want you to keep doing this and observe it with me."
"Right." Goku nodded as he held up his pointer finger and charged energy to it. "Now, aim and fire." He fired at a different part of the dummy and tore through it while noticing the energy that was lost as the attack progressed. "I saw it!"
"That's great!" Nejire cheered. "Now, you just need to keep firing while focusing on containing that energy within your attack. Let's keep going."
Goku nodded as he got ready to fire again.
Ryukyu and Hiryu
"Alright Hiryu, what can you do with your Quirk?" Ryukyu asked.
"My Quirk, Scales, allows me to sprout durable reptilian scales from my skin." He formed his gauntlet of scales along his arm. "These scales protect me like armor, but I can also shoot them with considerable strength and speed."
"I had a feeling that was what this is." Ryukyu stated. "They looked kind of like the scales I have when I transform into a dragon. Tell me, have you tried producing them along your body?"
"A bit." Hiryu admitted.
"What about reversing them?" Ryukyu asked.
"Reversing my scales?" Hiryu asked.
"Yes." The Heroine nodded. "By making your scales protrude outward rather than inward, you would sacrifice defense for offense. Provided you could get the timing down, you could charge down an opponent and open your scales at the right time to hit home a stronger blow."
Hiryu tried to protrude them outward. The scales did move a bit, but the 1-B student eventually ended up panting from the effort as he stopped himself.
"I think… it's possible." Hiryu stated.
"Then, we'll devote half this time on getting your scales to cover your body and the other halve protruding them outward."
With Roshi and Ojiro & Sen
"Let's begin." Roshi crossed his arms. "Ojiro, based on what I saw of you, the best thing we can do with your Quirk, at this time, is to have you utilize it more as a form of transportation."
"Transportation, sir?" Ojiro asked.
"In a battle with a villain, movement could mean everything." Roshi advised. "You were able to utilize your tail to avoid Todoroki's ice attack at the start of the Obstacle Race. Utilizing your tail more like that, in conjunction with how you use it now, would make you harder to deal with."
"That makes a lot of sense." Ojiro stated as he internalized the idea.
"Sen, you can use your Quirk to rotate any part of your body at high speeds, correct?" Roshi asked.
"Correct." Sen nodded firmly. "With this rotation, I can strike harder."
"When it came to you, I had to fall back on the information U.A. has." Roshi stated. "In short, you rarely utilize your Quirk with the lower half of your body. It seems to be a bad habit which we will work to break you of."
"Yeah, hearing it bluntly does put it into perspective." Sen stated with a sweat drop.
"Then, get to work." Roshi ordered.
Both boys nodded and started training.
Nighteye Agency
Momo had received a schedule just last night for how her time under Nighteye's tutelage would go. Ninety minutes would be dedicated to teaching her more advanced forms of combat. This lesson would be supervised and taught by Bubble Girl.
After a half hour break, another ninety minutes would be dedicated to teaching her to think quicker. After all, mere seconds could be the determining factor in success or death. This would be supervised and taught by Centipeder.
Miri would help with setting up and tutoring. After another 30-minute break, the cycle would repeat with Sir occasionally taking a break from his paperwork to check on her progress. Momo was currently about an hour into the first combat lesson.
Over that last hour, Mirio and Bubble Girl had put the intern through her paces. They especially stressed that she needed to be more creative like with the flash bang she'd used yesterday. While it was certainly hard, the intern felt like she really was learning a lot.
"When you're going up against anyone, Villain or comrade, you can't hesitate." Bubble Girl informed. "In essence, it's all a balancing act. You must fight smart while not losing yourself in your own mind. That creates an opening any opponent worth their salt will take advantage of."
Momo nodded. "Got it."
With the words of wisdom given, the remaining time for this lesson was dedicated to showing her how to fight smarter. Essentially, it was a crash course now on techniques the two of them thought she could utilize with promises to go through them, and more, when the rotation reset.
"You're learning even faster than we thought." Mirio praised.
"Indeed." Bubble Girl voiced. "Unfortunately, we must call the lesson here. "Go take your break and prepare for your next lesson with Centipeder."
"Got it." Momo replied.
Break
During the time Momo had her break, she attempted to contact Iida like Goku asked; however, he wasn't responding. From the short time she's gotten to know him, the speedster would at least text back he was busy.
Nighteye Agency
Once break was over, Momo moved to meet Centipeder in a new, larger room. Momo wasn't certain how she'd be trained to act quickly, but it soon became apparent upon seeing a whole obstacle course set up. This wasn't like the event at the Sport's festival.
There were sand bags swaying back and forth, floor panels going in and out, and at seemingly random intervals sections of the floor would fall. That's not to say this was an unsafe training method as there was netting set up where it needed to be to catch her.
"This is what you're going to be doing for the remainder of your week with us." Centipeder informed. "I'm going to push you to tackle this without having an opportunity to think long about your next move. Essentially, you'll succeed by thinking and moving quickly."
"What happens if I become accustomed to this?" Momo asked.
"Any time I feel that is happened; all I need to do is press this button." Centipeder took out a remote and pressed a red button causing everything to shift into a new formation. "It'll scramble the course. The button below it can add in new dangers. Now, get started!"
That was enough to get Momo moving. She managed to avoid a few of the swinging sand bags, but she couldn't help herself from stopping. Too many thoughts on how she should tackle this were coming to mind, and it resulted in a panel falling out from under her.
She plummeted to a net below which brought the sidekick over to get her going immediately rather than examining where she went wrong. This approach resulted in the deputy being knocked down by sand bags, tripping up on the moving sections of floor, or panels falling out.
There was some progress made as Momo eventually managed to get to the middle of the course only to end up faltering there. Still, it was marginal improvement from failing at the beginning or only a third of the way in. She didn't even rely on Centipeder to get her to go again.
As she was getting out of the net after her latest failure, the sidekick stopped her. "Alright, that's ninety minutes. Go on and take your break."
"Right." Momo stated.
Break
With this break, Momo decided to take out her phone and look up the Hero Killer case. She was hoping it'd calm her rising nerves about Tenya because he still hadn't messaged her back. She found seven news articles that had been grouped together.
The first news article showed the first four people he killed and where they were found. The second article showed five victims. This time, one of them survived but never recovered explaining how they couldn't do anything as the Hero Killer cut them all over.
The third article was the same as the first while the fourth had six pros injured beyond recovery. The remaining four articles were roughly the same with varying numbers managing to survive yet being beyond recovery. Momo could tell these seven were linked for a myriad of reasons.
First, the victims were always bleeding out from wounds that most likely came from a blade. Secondly, they were almost always in secluded areas with limited movement. Lastly, the number never dipped below four. Momo was pulled out of her thoughts by someone shaking shoulders.
The girl turned around and saw that it was Mirio. "You're going to be late for your next lesson if you stay here."
"Huh?" Momo replied before she looked at the clock and noticed that her half hour break was almost over. "Oh. I…I guess I lost track of time. Sorry."
She put her phone away and began walking with Togata to where they needed to go.
"So, what got you distracted anyway?" The third year was curious.
"Just had something on my mind." Momo stated uncertainly.
Mirio, though somewhat hesitant, decided to push further. "Is it something that you'd maybe want to talk about?"
Momo stopped for a second and thought about whether she should. She's only knew Togata for less than a day total, but he seemed like a good guy. On the other hand, she didn't want to stop the lessons over what could hopefully be her overreacting.
After a few more seconds, she budged. "I do, but only after all my lessons."
"Alrighty then." Mirio smiled once more and patted Momo on the back. "Let's get you to your next lesson then."
With that, the two of them went back to Bubble Girl to start Momo's second set of lessons in combat.
Rest of the Day…
During the second set of lessons, Bubble Girl also noticed Momo wasn't herself, but since she only just met her yesterday, she decided not to mention it. Momo still paid close attention and did the best she could during her lessons. That's all that mattered right now.
After that lesson, and Momo's next break, she went back to Centipeder. Like Bubble Girl, he noticed that she wasn't quite herself. Like his fellow sidekick, the Pro chose to not talk about that and focus on teaching Momo what she needed to know.
Momo managed to just clear the course by the end of the ninety minutes, so Centipeder used the button to rearrange if. He then pressed the button to add two narrow pathways with one of them being programed to fall the moment she put her weight on it in preparation for the next lesson.
On this next break she tried to call Tenya, but there was still no answer. Momo didn't know if it was her anxiety over having made friends with other students in her class or what, but it certainly increased her worry. Wash, rinse, and repeat for the next four hours.
Like I said last chapter, to me, the milk delivery was the most memorable part of the training. Once again, these internships are supposed to teach these students about the Hero World. If Roshi was part of that, which he was here, then he strikes me as the type who would want the interns to learn about it rather than taking them to an island where he'd simply talk about it. As for Piccolo's story about what happened to his father in this universe, remember that he wasn't around to see it happen.
Of course, he does have the memories of Demon King Piccolo, but a lot can happen to a Namekian freshly hatched from an egg. That's not to say he wouldn't still be a powerful little guy, but he obviously wouldn't be as powerful as a more adult-like form. That's not even mentuoning my way of handling power scaling here. Anyways, Crane Master. All I'll say is that I've already messed around with ages of Dragon Ball characters, and no this is not my attempt to make Shen younger. We already have the problematic Endeavor.
Monster King:Yep
ArguableReader: Yeah, the community did get after Super for that. As for Yamcha making a return to prominence, I'd argue it started happening before that point. He got a Parallel Quest in Xenoverse II where he was pretty tough according to most people. Then, the Dragon Room, which is official, had a manga where a guy got to become Yamcha and use Reasonable methods of growing stronger if you consider this is a guy who is reincarnated as Yamcha. Dragon Ball Super, in spite of what happened to him during the tournament, did have a baseball episode where he got to shine.
KaijuEmperor: The fourteenth chapter has an explanation that denote how I'm choosing to write this story. That said, if Roshi and Toshinori fought without Quirks, Roshi would win hands down as he is a martial artist of the highest caliber. Honestly the best martial artist around. I get what you are saying with Roshi, but I'm just choosing not to put that in. I mean, Midnight already represents some questionable things in that realm and Gran Torino, despite being cool in my opinion, has his own oddities. Essentially, All Roshi is left with is the powerful mentor role unless I wanted to cut out two characters which I didn't.
