Bella's point of view.
It felt like the whole mansion had suddenly gone ice cold, as my new, and only husband's red eyes seemed to turn a darker shade of red, almost black.
Isabella, I need you to say it out, loud when I ask you a few questions. I'll pretend I saw a memory that's been bugging me since I saw it. I still don't want them to know of our gifts we've been blessed with. It's nice having something nobody knows about.
"There's something I need to ask you, Bella…" He said to me, in a controlled tone as had held his anger in.
"Okay…" I say trying to sound like I am wondering where this is going, as Aro moved us to the sofa, still naked, not that I'm complaining, I kinda like feeling free.
"I saw a memory that has made me feel a little concerned… you have interacted with my kind before! No humans that aren't authority figures should know of our existence! How did you become associated with a coven called the Cullen's? Or if you are uncomfortable saying it out loud, you can show me, instead," he said.
"I think it'll be easier to show you instead! This is the lightest I have felt since moving back to Forks, Washington. It feels like a ton of bricks has been lifted off of my shoulders, and I can finally breathe again, my memory and thoughts feels less foggy too." I watch as Aro closes his eyes and clearly swears again in another language as he leans his head back against the sofa. Holding me tighter to him, as I show him my interactions with the Cullen family, some bits are a blur.
"Jane go find my wife a robe! Things have just gotten a little… interesting around here."
"What is it? And I'll need my clothes from Charlie's house for school in the morning." I reminded him.
"Somebody go to Chief Swan's house to collect my wife's clothes!" He added in, then said, "If I had my way, you wouldn't be going back at all." I raised an eyebrow, silently reminding him of our conversation with the Angels, he closed his eyes.
"Fucking meddling Angels!" Aro growls, just as a knock on the door breaks us out of our bubble, he had started to kiss me also when we were rudely interrupted.
"Slip it through the door Jane, but don't come in," Aro orders her, as his hands start roaming my body. My hips start moving on their own, it's like my body has taken over, and I hear my husband say, telepathically.
Let go, love. I need you, you need me, let go. I don't like what they've done, you're mine!
And that's exactly what I did, also reminding him he's mine too, and I have never felt so good. I feel the most complete with my husband deep inside of me. This time I watch as Aro cleans me with his tongue and I come again, in his mouth. I must have been out of it the first time he did this. He leans over and kisses me hard, resting his body completely against mine so I can feel every part of him.
"Give us a moment brothers, I will tell you when my Queen and I are ready. I'm not sharing this one's beauty with anyone." He kisses me one last time, before walking over to get my robe from the floor. I didn't even feel embarrassed, that others had heard us having sex. I'm sure I'll experience that myself when Aro turns me.
You will see and hear way more than just others having sex love, it's a whole new world when one is turned. Aro said as he handed me the Volturi robe. It's actually really soft and fleecy on the inside. I'm thankful my socks stayed on my feet.
I'd love to know more, but I do also need my sleep as well hubby! I can't function on just an hour or two for school in the morning, or is it already past midnight? I know we came around five, six o'clock.
It is just past midnight. When my brothers leave, we will go to bed. If only the Cullens haven't done what they have, we would not be, being disturbed on our wedding night. I really wish you'd reconsider your education! You don't need to ever lift a finger again if you don't want to.
"Come in!" Aro calls out, as he finishes putting his robe on and coming over to take hold of my hand, kissing my forehead as he moves to sit on the sofa, with me by his side, his arm wrapped around my shoulders, his hand over my breast, as I rested my legs over his lap, my head resting against his shoulder.
"I don't think I've ever seen him so relaxed!" I hear someone say, and see-through Aro's vision that a blonde man is smirking as he watches us, as he approaches. A long brown-haired Vampire has his eyes on me, and I feel Aro's protectiveness and anger burn up a little.
"Marcus, don't even think about it! She is my wife, my Queen, all of you's Queen. She will be turned once she finishes her education." Aro warns him, and I see Marcus raise his hands up, and roll his eyes.
"I'm not interested in your wife, brother. You're a possessive asshole at best! I just noticed some things that I am not going to let you see. If it was bad, I would show you, but I'd ask you to respect my gift, and my mind's privacy just this once." Suspicion rose through the bond, and miss-trust at being denied access, as his mind went into a space where he's now trying to figure out what his brother is hiding.
"Only if you promise to let me see things if I truly need to:" Aro finally spoke after what felt like ages. Marcus doesn't speak for a few seconds, which makes my husband even more suspicious.
"Yes, but only if I see something not right!" He responded. Both brothers stared at each other for a time, and I turned around to see, with my own eyes, and met Caius, who rolled his eyes.
"Now that's all out of the way! What have the Cullen's done now brother?" He winked at me. Aro gestured for them to sit down on the sofa and pulled me back into his side. He didn't speak until they were sat, on either side of the half a rectangle medium size sofa.
"They've had Isabella under their control since her first day of Fork's high! Playing it off, as if she's the Cullen boys' mate, and told her of our kind, showing her our painting, and using her as a doll basically. Young Edward Cullen has acted as if he's her mate. Bella also told me, I am sure you heard that this is the lightest she's felt since she's moved here and that she feels the lightest and less foggy mind since she moved here."
"They have had her under the influence of their control?" Caius said in an angry tone.
"I wonder if Carlisle is aware of his coven's wrongdoings? I took him under my wing when he stayed with us in Italy… it does not sound like the type of thing he'd put up with under his roof."
"I don't remember seeing Dr Cullen or Esme that much. Esme cooked for me a couple of times. Rosalie just glared daggers and Emmett seemed to be the only laid back one with a fun attitude. Jasper looked like he was trying not to kill me, and Alice played dress up. Every time I tried to fight her, I seemed to give in pretty quickly. I put up with a lot of shit from my mother, and if I was in my right mind, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have put up with her constantly using me as a real-life Barbie she dressed up, putting me in ridiculous heeled shoes, and god awful dresses sometimes, just for being in the house. I couldn't walk in them, and didn't want to." I explained to them.
"Did the Cullen boy ever take your blood, or abuse you in any kind of way?" Caius asked me bluntly. Aro growled at him, but I placed my hand on his leg.
"Mentally yes, it would appear so. But not that I am aware of with regards to taking my blood." I look to Aro, silently asking him if he'd seen anything I may have missed, with my poor vision compared to his.
"I have not seen any signs of misuse on my wife! But that does not mean we should rule it out. I could not taste another's venom in her bloodstream, and ways of being sneaky… but we do also have healing powers where our saliva heals wounds. So they or he could have taken and then healed the wounds. But surely Carlisle would have noticed his eyes change if he had?"
"So you mean he could have taken it, whilst I was sleeping there?" I asked, cringing at the thought.
"Possibly! Chief Swan mentioned you have been having issues lately, which is why you came tonight because you didn't want to be on your own at the house?" I frown as I think about it, snuggling even closer to my husband, feeling a bit robbed of my privacy, and body if this is all true. Aro held me tighter to him, whispering calming words to me, through our telepathic link, whilst. suppressing his own anger.
"I kept finding the window open, but I can't remember opening it. It's not the warmest of places Forks, and it's often raining at some point through the night and day. Pictures or objects are often moved slightly from their places! Only a little bit, but enough for me to notice the little things. I've never invited them to stay the night though. This is why it's all so confusing if it is not them that's doing this. I almost wish I had Charlie's room at the back, where there isn't a tree in front of the window. I'd have been a little less freaked out." I explained to them.
"Aren't there locks on the window?" Caius asked, breaking the silence as they all thought about what I said.
"No," I say, shaking my head. "Charlie's house is old and hasn't been updated since his parents died twenty years ago. He did a few bits when my mother moved in, but not a lot. He doesn't like spending his own money on things that aren't alcohol or food."
"Maybe we should send Demetri around to investigate. They were here not that long ago, and so the smell of them would still be fresh in his mind…. You see Demetri is a tracker who can catch the scent of something and track it down, without any issues of finding the object or person." Marcus explains to me.
"Demetri?" Aro calls out, and suddenly there's a knock on the door, as Caius said to enter.
"I need you to go to Chief Swan's house and search the area. Has anyone collected my wife's clothing yet?" He asked him.
"No… we've been waiting for more instructions, regarding what you wanted us to bring? Her clothes or objects as well?" He asked in an accent I can't place.
Europe, love.
Oh, Greece like you? I ask, as a memory of a conversation, comes to the front of his mind.
Yes.
"Then I am telling you and Felix to go and inspect Chief Swan's house and bring my wife's stuff back with you. Sniff out any scents that don't smell right. I don't care if Swan is there or not. Tell him you are there on my orders, and this is the first of us watching him."
"That'll freak him out," I say, a little amused. "The police Chief being watched by the supernatural."
"Go, call Jane in, we have some news for her, a new task of sorts," Aro said, amusement replaying anger. I look up at him with curiosity.
"You'll see…" he said, chuckling, even though the anger was still there. I look at Caius and Marcus and they both have raised eyebrows, looking at Aro, as if he has grown another head. It's turning out to be an interesting night.
Indeed it has!
What do you all think so far?
