Chapter 156 Trainer from Aevium Part 1

After taking a rest, Ash, Serena, and Victoria are now at the Night Club, they also find some people there as they greet them. The Circus gang is delighted to see Terra back in the group, while the others are a little annoyed to see her back again.

Samson: Thanks for bringing the gang back together. It uh... Let's just say our bartending friend was starting to get a little concerned about me and my intake volume before. Trying to run from the loneliness. Listen, you can't tell them I said this, right? I'll never hear the end of it. You did good, Champ.

Ash: Thanks?

Terra: hi bb ;) D1d u c0me 2 ask for a dance? well S0RRY 1'M T4K3N! by cha0s. Me and ch4os are the best. OTP, S+ 5upp0rt, baybeee!

Ash: And here she goes back to the weird talking...

Terra: TH4NX 4 HELP1NG REUNITE US BTW. hmm. I'm b0r3d. You th1nk Julia wants 2 bl0w stuff up l8ter?

Serena: I'm not sure.

The next group they find is Hardy and Aya.

Aya: I'm glad you're okay. I'm... really sorry about what happened on that train. When Hardy and I first ran into those orbs, I thought they were kind of pretty. But even then- they were more hassle than anything. The Red Orb was so heavy, and it kept randomly getting heavier and lighter- And at one point it got hot? It burned Hardy's pocket. And the Blue Orb... We had to keep it between us. You've seen firsthand what that one does. I'm just glad nobody got really hurt. It would've been so awful... Although I won't lie to you- I'm glad I wasn't there. I'm glad I didn't have to be the one to deal with Terra again. My head hurt for ages after the first time we met, and her mallet didn't help either. Anyway, thanks for dealing with that.

Hardy: Lookin' good, there, Ash. Glad to see you're still in one piece. Adrienn was tellin' us about the train mishap. Honestly, I don't know what that thief wanted 'em for, anyway. Those Orbs are a right pain in the arse. Completely wrecked my jacket, burned a hole in the pocket, and Aya's lunch got totally ruined when that Blue one decided to act up. I get that they're pretty powerful, but is it really worth it? Ah, well. Hopefully wherever that guy is, he's havin' as much trouble as we did.

Then they decide to find Julia, who was just finished talking to Amaria and Titania.

Julia: HIYA! (Sees them covering their ears) Oops, sorry for yelling! I'm in an Extra-Happy-Fun mood now, because BOOMIES! Not that I'm not always the extra-cheeriest around, but explosions make everything better! Plus, I got to make a new friend! Y'know, it is kinda unfortunate, though... That that Corin guy ran off. I know, I know, he was in big trouble with the police, and he stood me up, and sure, maybe he's kiiiind of a notorious thief, but he was really cute! Not that I'd ever give him another chance after he stood me up, but you've gotta admit, it would sure be an exciting relationship! Aah... It's too bad things with that other guy didn't work out. Anyhoo, I'm sure you've got things to do, and I've got a fifth cup of coffee to get to. Enjoy your day, Ash~

Amaria: Oh, I'm surprised to see you! After what happened with the train heist, I wasn't sure if you'd be around here for a while. You were security detail when it was robbed, after all! Oh, but I'm sure you couldn't have predicted what might happen. I was just worried you might be embarrassed. I did want to ask you, actually! What was it like, holding the Blue Orb?

Ash: It's not the best experience, trust me.

Amaria: I've always wanted to see it. An artifact swirling with the pure, concentrated essence of the deep… It sounds wonderful. I do hope the thief gets caught. I'd really love to see it for myself. In the meantime, don't let one failed mission discourage you. I'm sure there'll be others!~

Titania: Taking a rest after the train jacking? Yeah, I know about it. Mr. Rock Dundee over there hasn't stopped talking about it. I've got to say, I wish I'd been able to see those Orbs before they got stolen. They sound like a pain, but I'm honestly a bit curious. Of course, now they're lost and that thief's probably in the back end of nowhere by now, but what can you do. Maybe they'll turn up again and I can have a look. I don't have much faith in Reborn's police department, but I think they're pretty steamed about this. Anyway, good job. You're good at not dying, I'll give you that, and Julia seems happy to see Terra, even if literally no one else with any sense is ...Actually, you know what, forget the 'sense' part. But it's still good to see her like that. So... thanks.

Then they also find Adrienn in the room.

Adrienn: You're the hero of the day, once again. I truly can't thank you enough, Ash. The train robbery was a... volatile situation, and you handled it wonderfully. I suppose it's probably too much to hope for, that that Corin-Rouge fellow has learned his lesson... But I believe I'll hope for it nonetheless. He seemed to have good intentions, after all... just let things go a bit too far. And thankfully, no one was badly hurt. I wonder... We really should work on trying to figure out a solution to the water problem in Train Town. Just another thing to look into, I suppose. Oh, but don't you worry about that, Ash. I'll let you know if there's anything you can do, but in the meantime, please take care of yourself. And let's hope that little troublemaking Pokémon is through with that, too. We don't want things going missing around here! Enough things get lost as it is...

After finished talking, Ash and the others go to the counter and find Danielle at the counter.

Danielle: Hi again. So, turns out you're some kind of bigshot celeb who saved the world or whatever... If I'd known that, I might've shown you a little bit more respect in the times we talked.

Ash: (Rolls his eyes) Really?

Danielle: Hah! As if. You're just too easy to bully. Now strap up, hero. There's work to be done. A witness reported a new anomaly- Okay, "anomaly" is so pretentious, let's just call it what it is. Someone saw a legendary at the Glass Workstation on Route 4. She also specifically requested we send someone familiar with the building, and from what I've heard, you technically fit the bill. I'm assuming she's still in the area, so you probably need to get up there before she causes any trouble. That's all I've got. Get going.

Ash: (Mutters) The Glass Building...not the place that I wanted to go...

Victoria: I have heard about it from Ms. Ketchum. But for the same of these Anomalies, I guess you should go there.

After getting to the Glass Station, they are surprised to find a lot of crates gone. And then they also move forward to the place where the Black Hole is, and they find a green haired girl standing in front of it.

?: Oh? Oh goodness. I'm so sorry! I didn't expect to run into someone all the way down here... Um... What are you doing down here, may I ask?

Ash: This is what we're going to ask you, what are you doing?

?: Oh... Heha... But I asked you that first! (Thinks) At least he responded to me...

Victoria: We're here because we heard that there's a Legendary Pokemon here.

?: Oh, so you're here for a Legendary Pokémon? Must be that Magearna from earlier... Cute.

Ash, Serena, and Victoria are surprised to learn that the Legendary Pokemon is Magearna, as they can't believe that the Pokemon is also here.

Flora: Anyway... I'm down here because I'm interested in a sort of... "machine", we'll call it. Oh, but where are my manners! I haven't even introduced myself! My name is Flora. Flora Grevillea. I'm from a region far away called Aevium. I'm sure you've heard of it, perhaps?

Ash: Sorry, but I've never heard of it...

Flora: You're joking, right? Well whatever. Whether you know about it or not is fine! I'm a senior at Axis High University. I'm here to... Conduct research on a certain device that can be found here in Reborn. Since you're here in Reborn, I'm going to assume you've heard of Team Meteor. And by extension, you've probably heard of a device called a PULSE?

Victoria: We all know the PULSE for sure.

Flora: Beautiful~! Okay, um, so I'm writing a paper about them. If you know about PULSE's, then I'm going to need your help. I originally came here because I heard that this used to be a Meteor base, but I've come up with nothing. So, you, um... Sorry, I didn't ask for your name.

Ash, Serena, and Victoria then introduce themselves, and the girl just nods.

Flora: Ash, Serena, and Victoria? Got it. So, you wouldn't happen to know where I could find a PULSE device, right?

Ash: If you're just writing papers, then I can tell you some places where they are.

Flora: Wow! Spectacular! In that case, could you bring me to them? O-Oh, but I wouldn't just let you do this for free! I'll repay you! Remember that thing you were talking about before? Magearna? I may or may not have found something that may help out with that in this warehouse. Oh, but, um... I can't remember too much. Maybe you can help jog my memory? So, please... I'm begging you... Please take me to see those PULSE machines...

Victoria: I guess there's no reason to.

Flora: Oh my goodness! Thank you so much! So if we're going to do this, then let's get started right away! Where to first? And listen, bud. You gotta fulfill your side of the bargain before I tell you anything. For all I know I could tell you about Magearna and you'd just run off! So I'll ask again. Where to?

Ash: I guess let's go to Magnezone first. It is in the Devonyx Building.

Flora: Uh-huh... So, we're going to head off to the Devon Co. building? That's... far! Guess that's okay though. This should be totally worth it in the end! Shall we go together?

Then they nod as they all head back to Reborn and go to the Devonyx Building from North Obsidia Ward. Ash shows them the place where he fought the PULSE Magnezone.

Flora: Oh my god... It's a PULSE machine... So you weren't just pulling my leg. Interesting. (After looking for a while) No, no, this just won't do. First of all, the lighting in this room is trash. Second of all, this room and machine are both trashed. Keeping things consistent here, I see. Just kidding, I can't see shit. Ash! I'm... I'm very grateful, Ash, but... Um... This was kind of, um, a waste of time because the machine is so heavily damaged! I'm so sorry to ask you this, but do you happen to know of a PULSE machine that's in better sorts?

Ash: We do.

Flora: Thank hell... I-I mean, thank goodness! 'Kay, so... Where would this other PULSE machine be?

Ash: It is in Labradorra City, there is the machine for PULSE Clawitzer.

Flora: LABRADORRA? DO YOU KNOW WHERE WE JUST WERE? WE WERE LITERALLY JUST IN LABRADORRA! LITERALLY. WHY DID YOU MAKE US TRAVEL ALL THE WAY-

Ash and the others are surprised by the girl's tone, but she takes a breath and calms herself.

Flora: Calm down, Flora. Oceans. Waves. You are at the beach. The wind is blowing... A Wingull just flew off with your steak tartar... (Turns back to Ash and the others) Um, so sorry about that outburst! I just... Don't understand... You know what? Nevermind. So, Labradorra City it is, then? Okay! Take me there then! We're going together! Okay! Haha.

Ash and the others are confused about the girl, but they decide to walk with her there.

I'll end the Chapter right here, as you can see, this is the Magearna quest, and it is also annoying as well. I hope you like this chapter and the next chapter will be going to other PULSE spots. And as you can see, Flora is a Gym Leader from the Aevium Region of the Pokemon Rejuvination, there would be some crossovers from other games to this as well.
