How It All Began…

The United Empire of the West.

Nobody in the East truly knows how it came to be. All they knew was that ever since Japan was first formed, the two halves of the East and West had been divided. While the East had found peace after the Edo period and the disappearance of the Samurai warriors, as well as advanced their technology, the Western lands had remained in a state of constant warfare with each other. Generations upon generations of fathers, mothers, sons, and daughters had been killed on the battlefield because of the constant conflict that raged in their lands. Naturally, this constant warfare terrified those in the East, as they didn't want to take the chance of the Western conflicts spilling over into their lands and plunging all of Japan into civil war, which would only have even worse casualties thanks to advancements in weaponry and the rise of quirks.

Although, from what they last heard, everyone in Japan was quirkless, as hard as it was for anyone in the East to believe.

So to prevent their war from spilling over, the Eastern side built a giant wall that essentially cut the nation in half and protected those in the East from the war in the West.

But that all changed one day.

One day, a young man had climbed over the wall and into the Western territories while carrying a little girl on his back with the intent of making a new life for themselves. Somehow, this single man had used his own natural charisma that he didn't even know he had in order to gather a loyal following as he marched from kingdom to kingdom, defeating and allying with the various warlords that ruled those lands. His campaign had lasted for a little over five years before he had defeated the one warlord who opposed his ideals of peace and coexistence: Nobunaga Oda.

It was unfortunate for the young man, but he was left with no choice but to kill the Demon Emperor.

And when he did, everyone celebrated and praised him, chanting his name as he was made the emperor of a newly unified Western Empire. And the name of this young man… was Izuku Midoriya.

Speaking of whom, he was currently asleep in his room in the palace, which was built like the buildings and temples of Edo Period Japan but, like the rest of the empire, was now outfitted with all of the modern conveniences such as television, and electrical power that they generated from natural energy sources like sunlight, water turbines, and windmills.

Izuku himself had changed a lot in the time he's been the emperor, which has been for about two years now. When he left the Eastern continent, Izuku was a fifteen-year-old boy with shattered dreams and a small ember of hope burning within him, determined to make a better life for himself and the little girl he brought with him, his adopted daughter Eri. He still had his green hair and eyes along with his iconic freckles, but his face was no longer round like it was when he was a boy. Now he had a sharp, angular face devoid of baby fat which made him look more like the man he now is. And if one thought that Izuku was ripped before, then if they saw him now, they'd say he's straight-up JACKED! His pecs were as hard as diamonds, and he had an eight pack of abs that looked like they could grind meat easily. His arms were now thick and strong and while he was muscular, he wasn't as overly buff as All Might was. It was clear that he was built more for speed and agility rather than just raw power.

His exposed upper body revealed the numerous scars that he had obtained while fighting in the war. A constant reminder of the hardships that shaped him into the man that he is today.

Izuku groaned as the light of the sun peered through his bedroom window and hit him in the face. He tried to cover his face with his arm to try and get some more sleep but found that they were pinned to his sides. He immediately recognized the comfortable weights on his arms and chest and opened his eyes to see a head of black and blonde hair on either side of him and the sleeping faces of two of his wives.

They were Nemuri Midoriya, formerly Kayama, and Yu Midoriya, formerly Takayama. AKA, the 18+ Heroine: Midnight, and the Giant Heroine: Mt. Lady. Both of whom were pro heroes who used to work in the Eastern continent before a certain incident that afflicted both of them. An incident that Izuku had rescued them both from.

He smiled and kissed the top of each woman's head, causing them to smile in their sleep and sigh contently.

Izuku thought that he was a very blessed man to be an emperor with loving wives, a wonderful daughter, and a whole empire of people who would willingly give their lives for him they respected and loved him so much. He knew better than to think that peace would last forever, but for now everything was perfect.

And he would do everything in his power to protect his empire and its people.

Carefully getting up so as to not disturb the two lovely ladies from their rest, Izuku walked out to the balcony to take in the sight of the empire. It was truly a marvelous sight to behold. The capital of the empire was truly the crown jewel of their great nation. Buildings that resembled a combination of modern and olden day architecture complete with all of the modern conveniences, a bustling market that was alive with activity as merchants and shop owners prepared to open and begin selling & trading their wares, and even the sound of young children laughing as they took advantage of the cool morning air as they played outside in the crisp spring morning.

Breathing deeply through his nose, Izuku released a blissful sigh as he counted himself as being truly blessed for what he now has. An empire where he is truly loved, respected, and appreciated, a family of his own, and the people of his empire were treated as truly equal whether they had a quirk (which are surprisingly few in the West) or not. What more could a guy want?

Izuku smiled as he felt two pairs of feminine arms wrap around him from either side. He instinctively knew that it was his wives, likely having woken up from missing his warmth.

…Not in THAT WAY, ya bunch of pervs!

"It's too early to be up, Love." Nemuri tiredly said.

"She's right, come back to bed, my emperor." Yu said with a sleepy smile.

"You know you ladies don't need to call me your emperor, right?" Izuku asked with a smile.

Nemuri and Yu simply gave a couple of impish grins and pulled their husband back to bed. Not that Izuku tried to stop them. It was still early, and a couple more hours of sleep never hurt anyone.

Yet, he couldn't help but ponder what's been happening in the East since he left.

If only he knew that he would soon find out…
