Gryffindor Princess

Pairing: Kagome/Draco/Harry

A/N: I do not own Inuyasha or Harry Potter characters. Just my own story sadly. Please read and review with honesty. Thanks so much and enjoy. This the beginning of my story plot, Kagome is older and about to join Hogwarts.

The Letter

It has been years since that clear night, the beautiful baby girl grew a little bit each year. Her long wavy raven hair with sapphire blue eyes with her fair complexion. She is as beautiful as her veela mother even if she is only half. The only difference is she had her father's eyes.

Kagome was sitting beneath the Sacred Tree reading about the family history. Finding it interesting that her family has come from both powerful wizard lineage and powerful miko lineage.

"Kagome!" Her mother called from the doorway looking at her child sitting beneath the tree once again, holding a toddler on her hip. Kagome looked up from the book and sighed knowing her mother needed her. Closing the book and rising from beneath the Sacred Tree, slowly walking towards her mother.

"Yes mama, what can I do for you?" She asked as soon as she stood before her. Holding the precious book to her chest as she tilted her head curiously looking up at her mother.

"It's time to resume your training again. We do not want another incident with your powers getting out of hand." Her mother stated as she held out her hand that was not preoccupied for the book knowing her daughter would ask for it again once she has finished for the day. "Let's not forget how you almost set fire to a tree and almost purified the neko-yokai family living close to here."

"Yes mama." Kagome nodded with a blush of embarrassment. She clearly remembered those incidents when she was younger, and her powers were first emerging. The neko-yokai family lives on the shrine grounds. They are the guardians of the Higurashi family. Each of the family members has one. Handing over the book and heading to the study. The twin tailed black-colored neko with hints of cream on the chest and tips of its ears and tails trailing behind Kagome as it appeared from the hallway next to the study.

Her mother right behind her as she headed inside and began the lessons of controlling her powers once again. Her mother teaching her the meditation to control her miko powers and then training her witch powers with basic spells and potions. Even training her in basic hand-to-hand combat and basics in weaponry in case her powers ever failed her.

"Before we start, I'm going to put Souta down for his nap. Then I will be back to teach you the next step in your miko training, you will still need to meditate to focus on controlling your miko powers, but you've progressed over the years." Her mother stated as she walked up the stairs to lay her son down for his nap.

"Sweet dreams Souta. Maybe we will play a little when you wake up." Kagome said as she sat in the room waiting for her mother's return with the neko curled up on her lap absentmindedly petting the back.

"Nite, nite 'Gome." Her baby brother said as he yawned sleepily. Snuggling into his mothers embrace as she walked to his room.

Kagome smiled at that and sighed. 'Mom has it rough trying to train me and take care of Souta. If only dad was still here to help.' Kagome thought as she stared out the window, remembering the past before her father had passed away while waiting.

She was broken out of her thoughts when a slight tapping came from the window. Looking for the source, she seen a snowy owl with a letter in its mouth. Confused by this she opened the window and let the bird in with her arm outstretched to let it hop on before grabbing the letter from it.

Petting the birds head and reaching in her pocket for a treat to give it. It chirped happily and hopped off her arm to the windowsill to enjoy its treat.

Reading the front of the letter written in neat calligraphy.

Ms. K. Higurashi

Home on top of the Sunset Shrine

On Sunset Boulevard

Tokyo, Japan

Curious as to what the letter that was addressed to her wanted, she opened it and started reading the letter. The letter stated:

Dear Ms. Higurashi,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find a enclosed list of all necessary books and equipment needed for your first year.

Term begins on the first of September. We await your owl by no later than the thirty-first of July.

Yours Sincerely,

Minerva McGonagall

Deputy Headmistress

Attached to the letter was the list of items she would need to purchase before school started. She sighed knowing her mother will be excited for her to attend one of the best wizarding schools there is.

"Thank you, Winter." Kagome said to the Owl after reading the name on the collar and petting it as it continuously chirped happily. She looked up when her mother finally came back into the study and handed her the letter.

"Oh, thank Kami you got in. I was not sure if they would accept you. You know your father and I were both students at Hogwarts. I was a Ravenclaw while your father was a Gryffindor. Makes me wonder what house you will be placed in. It was there we found out we were mates. We will get on the first plane to England and go get your school supplies." Her mother chirped happily after she finished reading the letter. Already writing a response and handing the letter to the owl bidding it farewell. "Of course, Kuro will join you on your Hogwarts Journey, maybe you will see in the pets shop another creature you would want to take as a pet. Though I believe the maximum number is two. So, if you want more than that they would have to come here to live with us until you visit for breaks." Her mother sighed knowing her daughter already.

Because of Kagome's miko powers animals are attracted to her naturally. Not only that, but Kagome had always been drawn to nature through her powers.

'I only hope Kagome finds happiness and makes lots of friends in Hogwarts.' Her mother thought before clapping her hands. "Ok, now we will begin your training. Since you will be at Hogwarts you need to continue practicing your miko powers with your magical powers. I want weekly reports on the progress you've made as well as I will request the headmaster to give you a break at night to practice your combat and weaponry." She stated.

"Yes, Mama I will."
