Gryffindor Princess

Pairing: Kagome/Draco/Harry

A/N: I do not own Inuyasha or Harry Potter characters. Just my own story sadly. Please read and review with honesty. Thanks so much and enjoy. Apologies for going so long without an update. So to make up for it enjoy a nice long chapter on Kagome getting her supplies.

The Supplies

Kagome woke up and quietly stretched and yawned. She got out of bed grabbing a clean set of clothes she walked into the bathroom to shower and change. She wore a simple white blouse and knee length black skirt with knee length white socks and black flats. She brushed her long hair and braided it.

Once she was finished, she walked to the dining hall for breakfast and sitting in the same spot as the night before. This time Felix brought the family breakfast as her mother was getting Souta and herself ready. After breakfast, they headed to Diagon Alley where she could get her school supplies. Kagome still must wear her special cloak to keep her veela blood in check since there will be a lot more people in Diagon Alley.

"Kagome we must head to Gringotts in order to pull the money we need to get your supplies." Her mother stated as she walked through the secret passage with her brother in her arms and holding Kagome's hand. Pulling her through the crowded streets towards the wizarding bank.

As soon as they enter the bank, they walk up to the Head of the Goblins in Gringotts. Clearing her throat in front of the goblin, Kagome's mother spoke to the goblin with a commanding tone. "I will like to make a withdrawal." She stated with her nose pointed to the air with a regal air that demanded attention. Even Kagome looked up in awe at her mother from under her cloak.

The goblin looked up from the book he was writing in and jumped in surprised as soon as he seen my mother. "Of course, Mrs. Higurashi. I shall personally take you to your vault. It's been years since you have graced us with your presence." He said as he quickly climbed down from his chair and gestured for them to follow. They quickly took the boat and reached the family vault. "Here we are Higurashi Vault. I shall open it for you, madam."

As soon as he waved his hand on the vault, you could hear the locks coming undone from the inside. The door to the vault slowly opened to show an 8 by 8 room filled with priceless family heirlooms and gold galleons gleaming. Kagome's mother hands Souta to Kagome to hold as she enters to grab a cloth pouch from her pocket to fill up with the Galleons. She also grabbed a leather necklace with a small pink bauble in the center before returning to the children waiting outside for her and nodded her head at the Goblin to close the vault.

They left Gringotts as soon as they came back from the family Vault after thanking the goblin one last time. The first place they walked towards was a cute little shop called Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions. As soon as they walked through the door with a chime of the bell, they could hear a woman call from the back of the store behind the counter. "Just a moment, dearies. I will be right with you after this customer."

"No worries, Madam Malkin. We shall wait here patiently." Kagome's mother said as she eyed Kagome and Souta. Kagome looked around the shop curiously.

There were all sorts of clothes around the store for different occasions. Like school clothes, elegant dresses and suits, normal everyday wear. What really caught Kagome's eye was a black Chinese fighting dress with a golden dragon wrapped around the waist and a golden phoenix over the heart and on the back with mid-thigh slits. She looked back at her mother and asked with her eyes.

"Let's get your school robes and then we can ask Madam Malkin if she has anymore of those for you, ok?" Her mother told her quietly.

Kagome nodded and looked back behind the counter to see a boy with platinum blonde hair and cool blue eyes with moonlight pale skin walk with the shop keeper and another man that looked like the boy but with longer hair. She quickly pulled up her hood to cover most of her face and bowed her head.

"Will that be all Mr. Malfoy. Will there be anything else I can help you with?" Madam Malkin asked as she rung up their items.

"No, that should be it for today. Here keep the change, see you again, Madam Malkin." Mr. Malfoy said as he grabbed the bags from the counter as he and the young boy who looked identical turned towards the exit. They both paused as they seen the Higurashi's next to the robes. "Ah if it isn't Naomi Higurashi. It has been years since I last saw you. I'm sorry about your loss, Kenta was a great man."

"Thank you for that Lucious. It has been quite a while. I see you have a son now he looks just like you." Kagome's mother Naomi said as she looked at Mr. Malfoy. Kagome tried to hide behind her mother. The boy that looked like the man kept staring at her and was making her uncomfortable. It was like he could see under her hood.

"Ah yes. This is my son Draco. Draco this is a friend from Hogwarts, Naomi Higurashi. I see you had some children of your own. I believe the one under the cloak is your oldest Kagome, right?" He said as he looked and the girl in the cloak trying to hide behind her mother. "She should be the same age as Draco here, correct?"

"That's right she just turned 11 a few weeks ago and this here is my youngest Souta he's almost 6. We are just getting Kagome here her supplies to start Hogwarts." Naomi said as she gently pushed Kagome in front of her. Kagome gave him a respectful bow and straightened but kept her head tilted downwards eyeing them from under her hood.

"She's very respectful just like you were and quiet. We are doing the same as well for Draco. Why don't we do the shopping together it will give us time to catch up as well as get the kids use to being around each other? I assume Kagome inherited your veela blood, correct? That is why she is wearing the magical cloak." Mr. Malfoy asked/stated as he eyed Naomi.

"That is correct. I have taught her control, but as extra security around the busy streets of London she wears her cloak. She has not been around many people, so she is not used to it yet. That is a wonderful idea. Let me get her robes situated and then we shall continue if you do not mind waiting a bit longer?" Naomi asked as she looked down at her daughter who gently tugged her sleeve. She nodded and looked towards Madam Malkin. "I apologize for the wait she's ready to be fitted. You can take her back, also do you have more of those Chinese fighting dresses in her size? She seems to have taken a liking to the black one here."

"Ah I should have some more in different colors. Any particular colors would she like besides the black one?" Madam Malkin asked as she collected the black one to size for Kagome.

"Maybe a blue, red, gold, silver and green if you have them. She likes a variety. Thank you, Madam Malkin." Naomi stated as she looked at her daughter and gently pushed her in the direction of the madam.

"No worries dearies, I will get her fitted quickly. Come along little one." Madam Malkin stated as she took Kagome in the back to be fitted for the robes.

It didn't take that long, and they soon paid for the robes and walked with Lucious and Draco to the next supplies which were the books and cauldron. Lucious and Naomi were talking about the last couple years. Kagome walked quietly next to Draco.

"So, Kagome are you ready for school?" Draco asked to make polite conversation with the young girl beside him.

"I am if anything I am a bit nervous. What about you, Draco?" Kagome turned her head to look at Draco from under the hood. She knew he was being polite because their parents are friends.

"I guess I am. It might be harder for you since you weren't around kids your own age until now huh?" Draco said as he kept making conversation. Grabbing the books and cauldron for her and himself before walking towards the cashier with their parents.

"Yeah, I guess. But it will be a learning experience. Plus, it will help me in my training." Kagome said as she handed her items to her mother to purchase before they headed to the next shop, which should be their familiars then to Olivander's for their wands.

"True, so you have veela blood? I'm curious though the cloak is on why wear the hood as well?" Draco asked as he did the same.

"Yes, though I'm only half it still is powerful. It is why I wear my cloak. I just do not want people to like me just for my looks and veela blood. It will be tough during school though. I'm not use to big crowds." Kagome said as they walked to the next shop looking around the shop for any familiars that catches her eye.

"I can understand that. I am sure you will do fine, and you have me there. I am your first friend and do not forget that." Draco said as he spotted a Eurasian Eagle-Owl. Knowing that is what he wanted he picked up the cage and walked beside Kagome as she kept searching.

"Thank you. Ah I think I spot the familiar I want." Kagome said as she spots a beautiful white almost silver kitsune with golden eyes and three tails staring at her. Picking up the cage, she walked to her mother and tugged her sleeve again.

"You found one. Kuro will be happy to have a playmate don't you agree?" Naomi said as she paid the shop keeper.

"Yes, he will I think I will name him Yoko. What do you think little guy?" Kagome said as she looked at the kitsune who bowed his head in acknowledgment at her. "I will introduce them when we get home. I'm sure they will get along well since they are both youkai."

"A wonderful name Kagome. He is a pretty fox." Draco said as he looked at the kitsune.

"Now all that's left is our wands. Shall we head to Olivander's?" Kagome said as she followed her mother. Draco walked next to Kagome, curious as to how she looked under her hood. Trying to peak only to catch a glimpse of her sapphire eyes. He smirked and was enjoying the stroll to Olivander's.

As they entered the wand shop with a ring of the doorbell, there was a sound in the back of the shop. Then an old man emerged.

"Ah welcome to my wand shop young ones. Are we here to acquire one of my specially made wands?" The old man asked from behind his counter.

"Yes, we are." Stated Draco. Kagome nodded in acknowledgment and glanced at all the boxes behind the counter.

"Ok, which of you would like to go first? The Malfoy heir or the Higurashi heir? It is a pleasure to see you again Naomi and you as well Lucious. It's been a while since any from your prestigious houses have come to my shop, but it is definitely worth the wait." The shop keeper stated as he glanced at the two before him. Kagome's mother and Draco's father nodded in acknowledgement.

Kagome glanced at Draco and Draco did the same to Kagome. After a minute, Kagome gestured for him to go first. So, Draco stepped forward after nodding at Kagome.

"Ah, so Malfoy first. Then let us try this one…" He mumbled to himself thinking as he grabbed one of the boxes from behind him. Handing Draco the wand he says. "Go ahead and give it a wave this is an eight-inch sycamore wand with the core of a Dragons heartstring."

Draco gave a wave and a tower of boxes collapsed. Shaking his head, he set the wand down. "I do not think this is a good fit. Shall we try again?"

"Yes, it seems so. Hmmm…. Ah maybe this one shall do…" Olivander said as he grabbed another box and held the wand out to Draco. "This is a ten-inch Hawthorn wand with the core of a Unicorns hair. It is not as temper mental as the Dragons heartstring. Go ahead."

Draco grips the wand, and a slight breeze ruffles his hair. He looked back up at Olivander for clarity. Olivander just smiles and nods his head.

"It seems to find a place with you. Treat it well." Olivander says with caution. Then he looked behind Draco at Kagome and motions her forward. "Let us see which wand is perfect for you dearie." He turns and grabs another box.

He reveals another wand and holds it out to Kagome. "This here is a nine-inch sycamore wand with a phoenix feather core. Give a wave."

Kagome grips the wand and waves it. A vase in the corner shatters. She gently puts it back in the box and sighs. "It doesn't like me much. Maybe another one?"

"Hmm… I must agree. Let us see, your half-Japanese right?" He asked Kagome. She nods and watches as he rummages through another pile of boxes. "Hm... Maybe this one. No one has been able to tame it yet. The wood is from an ancient sacred tree from Japan with the core of a Dragons heartstring. It is a nine-inch piece."

Kagome grips the handle of the wand and a cool breeze with flower petals comes from nowhere knocking her cloaks hood off her head without realizing it. She looked up at Olivander who clapped and smile happily at her.

"Marvelous, I'm so glad we found it a home. Do remember to take care of this one it is rare kind. Take really good care of it." Olivander smiled happily as the two young wizards nodded their heads.

The adults paid for the wands and headed out the shop. Kagome still has not realized her hood has fallen and her face revealed. Draco stared at Kagome as soon as they exited the shop. He could see her entire face now. She was beautiful, moonlight skin tone with sapphire eyes and raven black hair braided.

Even Lucious was speechless as he gazed at Kagome. Then grinned as he saw his son staring at her. He nudged Naomi and pointed at the two children. She smiled and laughed a little.

"Ah, young love I'd have to say is growing between those two." She whispered to Lucious. He simply nodded in agreement.

"Narcissa would want to see you again and how big your children have gotten. How about you three join us for dinner tonight?" Lucious said out loud for Draco and Kagome to hear.

"What a wonderful idea! Let us drop off Kagome's school supplies off at home and we shall join you for dinner." Naomi said as she looked over at the two.

"Then we shall see you tonight. Also, Kagome you are beautiful by the way. Your hood has fallen off when you were getting your wand." Lucious chuckles as Kagome blushed and quickly pulled her hood back on.

"We shall see you tonight for dinner." Naomi giggles and grips Kagome's shoulder and starts walking away waving goodbye to the other two.
