Bonus Chapter Part 2

(Arclight)

Arc: Knock knock, Dad. You've got company.

Arclight is bringing Ash to his house, and he greets his dad.

Dad: Oh, my boy, it's so good to see you! Come in, come in!

Ash notices that a lot of things are scattered on the floor, and he is sweatdropping.

Arc: ...Seriously, Dad? This place is a mess.

Dad: Ahh, I've been so busy lately, you know how it is?

Arc: I do know how it is. Do better. (Turns to Ash while trying to clean his house) Sorry, Ash, just give me a sec. Make yourself at home.

Ash: Thanks, Arc.

Dad: Aren't you going to introduce me to your friend?

Arc: Right, so, Dad, this is Ash. He's the Champion.

Dad: The Champion?! You are running in high places! You did not tell me you were meeting with the Champion!

Arc: There's a lot I haven't told you. Stuff was busy for a while. But, that's part of why I wanted to drop by. Say "Hi" to Mom, let you know I'm safe... Everything's good.

Dad: That is very good to hear...

Arc: Also, Jay said you were asking him for money again.

Dad: Ohhhhh no, no no no, I told your brother not to bother you with that-

Arc: Dad, (Cuts off by his father)

Dad: You don't have to worry about it, you've done enough already-

Arc: Dad, listen. If you need money, you come to me. Not him, me. Understand?

Dad: Yes, yes, yes, it was just a minor thing-

Arc: Even for minor things, you come to me. He needs to be free to stand on his own. Are we clear?

Dad: Yes, yes, yes... We are clear.

Arc: Good. (Takes out the money) Here's for this month. There's a little extra because Mom mentioned something about the sink.

Dad: Oh... Yes, yes, thank you. I- I don't know what we'd do without you.

Arc: I know. How's Mom?

Dad: The usual... Same as usual. She's sleeping right now, but I'm sure she won't mind if you say "Hi".

Arc: I'll do that. (Walks towards Ash, who is sitting on a chair) Come with me. Sorry about that.

Ash nods as he is brought to a woman who is lying on the bed.

Arc: She's had a hard time. I won't bore you with the details, but... This is how she spends most of her time.

Ash: I'm sorry to hear that.

Arc: I just wanted you to see. As I said, we gotta work hard to take care of those close to us. (Walks to his mother) Hey, Mom. We've got a visitor. So... we took care of the situation I told you about last time. Or, Ash did. Now it's about clean up and getting back on track. I've been working with a group of guys lately. Used to be called the Aqua Gang, but they're putting that behind them. They're a good bunch. Spirited. So, we ran across this urban camper the other day, and he didn't wanna move, because of course not. There was the usual argument about shelters, but then one of the guys brought up, "Who actually owns the space he's camping on?" "Who's permission do we need?" So we did some digging, and you wouldn't believe who it turned out to be...

While Arc is talking to his mother, Ash remembers how Arclight has become a famous DJ around the world, and people come to hear his music or broadcasts.

(Aria)

Ash: That sure is nice performance for both of you.

Ash is now in his Bug Type outfit as he greets both Serena and Aria, who are doing a collab for the upcoming Showcases.

Serena: Thank you, Ash. Aria and I came up with the whole performance. And I'm glad that all worked out.

Aria: Indeed. So how about we meet up with Ms. Palermo? I'm sure she'll like your visit.

Ash: Of course, I'm glad to see Grandma again.

After Lin's battle, Aria and Delia bring Ash to meet Palermo, and they have a small reunion as Ash can't believe that he still has a grandmother who is actually living in Kalos. After a while, Aria decides to confess to Ash, making her the third one to confess to Ash. Serena and Aria also work together with the Showcase, and they are trying to get the Reborn Region to have its own Showcase route.

Serena: I was surprised that we can do Showcases in the Reborn Region without any problem. I mean, there really are a lot of rising stars.

Ash: Indeed. Working together with Pokemon is what the Showcases are all about. I'm looking forward to see the whole process.

(Aya)

Hardy: Thank you all for comin'! Once again, shout out to the crew- DJ Arclight on rhythm and mixing! My man, Cain, with that vocal veneer! And last, but anything 'cept least, that's my girl Aya bumpin' it on the bass! One last shout out- Thank you Reborn City! See you on the streets!

Ash now with Aya as she walks out of the room, and she doesn't seem to be happy.

Aya: Son of a hellfuck, shit-ass fuck fuck fuck bitchfuck- ASSDAMMIT.

Ash: Are you alright?

Aya: It's not like I didn't practice. I did practice! I practiced so much! And yet I still messed up every single verse of the last song. And the solo! I think I managed about half a measure before I forgot every single note and went full Deerling-in-the- headlights! Incredible, bravo! What a wonder! I sure am "bumpin' it"- In the "oops I'm sorry I bumped you and accidentally pushed you down two entire flights of stairs!" way.

Ash sighs as he knows what's going on, but a kid rush toward Aya.

Kid: Hey, 'scuse me? Hey, are you the guitar girl from the show? You are, right?

Aya: Uh... Technically it's a bass guitar, but...

Kid: You were really super ultra cool! Hey, where'd you learn to play?! Hey, is that your natural hair color? Hey, can I get an automagraph? I wanna be just like you when I get bigger!

Aya: (Surprised) Uh, hey, wait, slow down there, kid... Um, in order-

Kid: Hey, wait, can you come with me?!

Aya: Uh, sure?

Kid: I wanna introduce you to my brother! He's gonna be so jealous that I got to meet you! Actually hey, wait, stay here, I'll bring him! (Runs away)

Aya: Sure thing, I'll- Oh, okay bye. Uh, stay in school ...Or something.

Ash: So what do you think about it?

Aya: ...Like me, huh? ...Could be worse, I guess.

Ash sighs as he sees Aya leave, he knows for sure how Aya is improving, and her feelings for Hardy are getting stronger after this. Ash is happy for Aya to be confident with herself and also have some fans for her concert.

(Bennett)

Bennett: ... This is why it's important to have a thorough understanding of checks and threats to common win conditions. Many beginning Trainers favor a hyper-offensive style focusing solely on offensive moves and type coverage, but this approach to team-building is focused on the naive generalization of types themselves as the primary determinants of battle. We are not battling against types; we are battling against Pokémon. Putting the focus on win conditions and countering specific checks is the reason that even mono and duo themed teams are able to prevail.

Bennett is now at the Onyx Trainer School as he is giving a lecture on the Bug Type Pokemon.

Bennett: Before we move on, are there any questions?

Boy: Yeah, so, are you like, gonna be a real teacher here now, or what?

Bennett: This is just a one-time guest lecture. Your headmistress thought some of you might be interested in hearing from a member of the Elite 4. Personally, though, I feel I'm just as much a student as any of you. I'm sure there are things you all can teach me as well.

Girl: Hey, yeah, I have a question! So are you and Laura dating or what?

Bennett: (Blushes) What? No, it's not like that.

Girl: Okay, but you two are together all the time, right? You said you were meeting her after this too, right?

Bennett: Yes, we're just meeting for dinner; that's all.

Girl: At, like, a restraurant?

Bennett: Yes?

Girl: With just her?

Bennett: Yes...?

Girl: So it's a date.

Bennett: ...No, it's-

Girl: So you're dating.

Bennett: No, we-

Girl: You're meeting for dinner at a restaurant, alone, with a girl, so it's a date, so you're dating. Like, that's the word; that's what those words mean. You're dating.

Bennett: (Decides to ignore the girl) Are there any questions about the lecture? (Nobody has more questions) Right. Well, practical application is always better than theory anyway. To that end, I brought in a friend to help demonstrate. Please come in.

Ash comes into the battlefield, and it causes a lot of students to be surprised.

Student: Wait, so we get to see a member of the Elite 4 AND the Champion?

Ash: It is nice to see all of you. After our fight, we'll also be accepting volunteers and will fight against several of you ourselves.

Student: What?! There's no way we'd win against either of you!

Bennett: The point is not to win; but to learn. (Walks to the battlefield while Ash is doing the same) I'm still doing that myself. Ash, shall we have another go?

Ash: Of course.

Ash smiles at his cousin Bennett. Ever since Anna gets back her role as the Elite Four member, Bennett and Laura will take turns as the second Elite Four member to face. And both of them have strong feelings for each other, even though Bennett doesn't admit it right now.

(Blake)

Blake: Hey, heyheyhey no- Aaaah...

Blake is at the orphanage playing video games with the children, and Ash decides to visit them.

Jackie: GAME! (Jumps up) GOTTEM! I TOLD you I was better than you!

Blake: Nah, what? Bruh, c'mon. Pichu's just busted. I mean, dude, what is that hitbox?

Grey: Okay, but you said Greninja was busted when you lost to him too.

Blake: Yeah, okay, but, Greninja's not even my main, all right?

Jackie: Quit making excuses! You lost fair and square!

Blake: Shoot, fair AND square? All right, all right, I guess you win.

Raquel: Can we play again?

Blake: Hell yeah, we can. Ain't nobody here to tell us not to. You little dudes are goin' down this time though, you hear?

Grey: You said that last time.

Blake: Yeah, well, this time I mean it though.

Raquel: I think- I think you're just embarrassed that you keep losing!

Jackie: Yeah, to a bunch of kids.

Blake: Whaaaat, embarrassed? Dude... Nah.

Raquel: Okay, but you're embarrassed though. Just admit it?

Blake: Awhh, fine, fine. Yeah, okay, this isn't my coolest moment, but, in my defense? Sometimes you little dudes are just really good at the game. Real sees real, brah. Now, if this were Call of Shooting, this'd be a different matter entirely.

At the same time, heather walks in and greets Ash, and then she also hears what Blake is talking about.

Jackie: What's "Call of Shooting"?

Blake: Ohh, it's the shit. Jackie, you'd love it. Tell you what, I'll bring it next time and if you remind me then, I'll teach you what 'teabagging' is.

Heather: You're going to teach them WHAT.

Blake: Oh, hey Heather, I didn't see you there...

Heather: I bet. And what did I say about curse words?

Blake: Yeah, what, did I even curse? Jackie, did I curse?

Grey: You said the 's' word.

Blake: Oh, shit, really? I mean- shoot- Son of a- Ugh.

Ash: Don't worry, Heather. I'm keeping an eye on him.

Blake: Yeah, yeah, I know. I gotta have parental supervision.

Raquel: But aren't you an adult?

Blake: Unfortunately, yeah. Buuuut I made some questionable decisions in the past.

Heather: They weren't questionable; they were bad and stupid.

Blake: You know what, yeah, they were bad and stupid.

Raquel: So why'd you do it?

Blake: ...Well, uh. I guess I was just scared. Sorry again for that. The second chance is appreciated. Anyway, these two are just tagging along to make sure I'm not making any bad choices again. Like picking Pichu.

Jackie: Stay mad!

Blake: That's cold, bruh...

Heather: Blake, you seem grumpy. Do you need a snack time?

Blake: Yeah, maybe...

Heather: Okay everybody, let's have snack time.

Blake: Yo, dude. We got anymore of those fruit gummies? Those were sick!

Ash: I'll go check some for you.

Heather: Then I'll come with you, Ash.

Jackie: GUMMIES!

As Jackie and Raquel leave, Blake decides to call Grey.

Blake: Hey, Grey, hold up a sec.

Grey: ...What?

Blake: You ever been around Chrysolia?

Grey: No.

Blake: Well how do you feel about, like, forests and stuff?

Grey: They're fine? I guess?

Blake: So, I've been talking to this couple who lives out in Spinel Town... And, little dude, they LOVE you. We're still talking out the details, but if you're up for it, I think they'd be interested in taking you for the long term...

Back downstairs, Ash and Heather are still finding the snacks, and Ash smiles after learning how Blake is trying to change himself while spending some time with the kids in the orphanage.

And here is the second part of the bonus chapter, some of these are actually included in the main game, but some of them aren't. I hope you like this chapter.
