She was gone.

"John, we can't."

Cameron was gone. Her body had been wrecked by the prison assault, John wasn't even sure if it was reparable at this point. She had said herself that she wasn't 100%, and that was saying something coming from her. But he couldn't dwell on that. It was the least of his concerns in that moment.

"He's got her chip!"

John had pleaded with his mother. She didn't get it.

"...He's got her."

John Henry, the other AI, had taken her from him. Taken the chip right out of her head and transported them both to the future. Cameron's essence was somewhere out there, being held by some psycho Skynet wannabe. John hadn't even had time to think about it. He just knew that he needed to get her back.

"...Mom?"

Sarah was gone. His mother. She had stared him in the face as the TDE powered up, as she shook her head backing out of its radius. John had been shocked. Confused. Even if she didn't care about finding Cameron, his mother had never left him before. He had pleaded with her, unspeaking, begging her to help him. Why? Why wasn't she coming with him?

"I'll stop it."

In a blue flash of crackling electricity, she was gone too.

The next thing he knew, John had materialized in the future. Naked, afraid, and in pain, he was suddenly thrust into the apocalyptic world of his nightmares. Surrounded by painfully familiar faces, in a future where the name John Connor seemingly meant nothing.

Weaver was gone. She had disappeared the second the patrol had rounded the corner. He had no idea where she went or how he was supposed to find her again. All he had left was the repeating scene playing over and over in his head.

They were all gone.
He was all alone.

"I love you too"
