Daniel Folten: 30 miles South of Havana Cuba

March 13, 1981 1500 Hours

"Bell take out those guns on the roof and balcony!" Adler shouted.

"On it!" He responded, finding cover.

While everyone was focusing on the other enemies, Bell laid down on the ground behind a vehicle steading his aim, and calming his breathing, preparing to take the shot. Pow! He didn't waste any time watching the enemy sniper fall from the balcony of the abandoned compound as he moved onto the next one. Pow! As one after the other fell the sound of the sniper was almost deafening. A sound so loud, it almost replicated the sound of a tearing bedsheet, not to mention the uncomfortable pain it had on one's ears. After years of service, Bell learned to adapt to the sonic boom of snipers.

"Balconies and roof are clear!" Bell announced as he was reloading. "Move up!" As they moved up, they took cover behind stacks of sandbags and the columns of a building across from the compound.

"They're popping smoke!" Woods said as he threw a grenade, killing three enemy Tropas.

Bell was about to reload when he realized his ammo was nearly depleted. All he had left was his magnum pistol and he knew that would only get him so far. He used up his remaining bullets to take out three enemies, each of whom died with a bullet through their skulls.

"Bell, I thought you took care of the one's on the balcony?!" Adler said harshly.

Bell looked up to see what he was talking about and noticed that three enemy snipers had been stationed back on the roof.

"I did, they just sent reinforcements up there again!"

"I don't care how they got up there, just take care of them!" Adler looked over to Bell from behind one of the white columns.

Nodding over to Adler's order he set aside his Tundra and took out his Magnum from it's holster. Still taking cover behind sandbags and the column he took a deep breath and mumbled to himself, "I got this."

Park who was to his right realized what he was about to do. "Bell are you insane? That thing doesn't even have a scope on it. Are you even sure what you're about to do is even possible?"

"Nope, that's why I'm eyeballing it." He said with a smile under his balaclava. Before she could argue with him he had already stood up and took his first shot taking out the first sniper. And then the next. And then the last one. Within seconds they were all down. Bell smiled to himself, not expecting his plan to be successful at all.

"Nice shots Bell." Lazar complimented him as they moved up to the final gate.

"It comes naturally" He chuckled over to Lazar.

After they moved up to the final gate they quickly took out the last of their defences that were blockading the entrance of the compound. Forgetting that there was a small team of friendly soldiers on this mission with them Bell heard Adler speak to the Captain over the comms.

"Captain take your men around back."

"Copy that," the Captain replied.

Once past the main gate Adler spoke to Park.

"Park, take your team right." Adler ordered as he, Mason and Woods took to the left.

"Copy" She replied.

Before he, Lazar and Park went into the next room, Bell recovered an AK-47 from one of the fallen corpses.

"What did these poor souls do?" Lazar asked, looking at one of the dead scientists.

"They finished their job." Park replied simply.

"And we have to finish ours. Come on let's get moving." Bell said to the both of them.

As they made their way into one of the rooms Bell noticed the cameras in the room. "Look, they've got closed circuit cameras."

"We could use them to locate the bomb." Park suggested.

"Just as I was thinking." Lazar agreed.

Cautiously making their way through the compound, Park took notice of how silent the environment was.

"It's quiet all of a sudden. Stay sharp." She warned the others.

Bell heard footsteps that didn't belong to any of the three of them. Quickly stepping in front of them both he held up his hand indicating for them to stop walking. He nodded, giving a signal to two of them. Bell swiftly went around the corner first, taking out one enemy while Lazar immediately followed taking out the second. "Nice work Lazar." Bell complimented.

Turning the corner Bell saw a scientist call out to them.

"Help us! They're trying to kill us!" The scientist pleaded as he hopped over the gate, trying to make his way to them. Bell quickly took notice of the explosive mine the man was heading for. It was too late for him to warn the poor scientist. "Noo wait!" Bell screamed to the man across the courtyard, holding out his hand as if to try and stop the explosion.

"Is everyone alright?" Park said as she and Lazar came around the corner.

"Yea, I'm fine. But the scientist…" Bell made a pitied look.

"We can't save everyone." She looked over to the dead corpse and saw even more prox mines covering the entire courtyard. "Bell sweep for mines."

It didn't take him long to pick off the last mine blocking their path to the other side of the courtyard. "Clear, just don't step anywhere but the walkway or you'll set off a mine and kill us all." He said to the others.

As they made it to the other side they saw enemy reinforcements notice their arrival. "Contact!" Bell fired his weapon towards the right of the green unkept fountain.

"Bell take care of those to the right, Lazar get rid of those coming from in front of us." Park ordered as she fired towards enemies to the left.

"Copy." They both said.

After they finished off the Tropas on the first floor, Bell noticed enemies coming from the top. One in particular holding a weapon much larger than the others.

"RPG!" He warned the others. Luckily the missile landed close enough to them to only sturr up dust in their eyes. "Lazar after I toss my flash you pull the pin on that frag and toss it up there!"

"Got it!" Lazar replied, reading his grenade.

Bell peaked from around one of the columns. "Throwing flash!" He watched Lazar toss the grenade and seconds followed before he heard the explosion go off, taking care of RPG and several other enemies.

Lazar finished off the last enemy when they finally made their way towards the security room. They took out two soldiers, when Bell noticed a painting right outside the security room. He looked behind it to find an even better version of his Magnum, the Redeemer. Getting bored of his AK-47 he attached it to his back and picked up the Redeemer, setting his Magnum behind the painting.

"Get on the camera feeds Bell." Park called to him from the other room.

"I'm coming." He replied, putting the Redeemer in its holster.

While Lazar and Park scanned the room for anything important Bell grabbed their attention. "There's Adler."

"Mason, you missed one behind the counter." She warned the other team, as Mason hit the soldier with his weapon and finished him off.

"Thanks Park." Adler spoke over the security feed.

Bell kept flipping through all the security feeds, still finding nothing.

"Keep looking" Park said.

"I am but-" She cut him off and got Alder's attention over the comms.

"There, hold it." He paused the screen showing a lab where Doctor Pershing and other scientists were working on the nuke. "Adler we have eyes on the nuclear device and… hell, someone's killing the scientists!"

"Where?" Adler quickly asked.

"Second floor, room 27B!"

The man who shot the scientists also managed to shoot the security camera, turning the screen to nothing but static.

"Second floor, room 27B, upstairs let's move!"

"Maybe we can get there before Pershing bleeds out." Bell thought to himself as they breached the next set of doors.

Quick Authors note: Iv thought about doing a prequel story for Bell of this story goes well. It would explore who Bell was before Adler and the team and how he became aligned with Perseus. Let me know your thoughts, yeah or no?
