Midoriya was stunned as he stared at Usagiyama. His mouth opened slightly to speak but he couldn't find the words- let alone the strength to. Watching her chest and shoulders rise, it was easy to tell that Usagiyama was struggling to relax herself- the figurative veins on her forehead nearly bursting.

"H-Hey. You alright?" The green haired man was barely able to choke out any words- unfortunately for him, they were not the words she was looking for as her expression went from suppressed rage to unadulterated violence.

"NO! I'm not fuckin' alright! Are you serious right now!?" The rabbit woman roared, gripping at Midoriya's hospital gown and yanking him to look at her furious eyes, "What the fuck is wrong with you!?"

He wasn't sure how to respond as he was pulled by the collar but he was oddly becoming enraged. Midoriya believed that he did the best he possibly could, there was no feasible reason for her or anyone to get angry at him.

"I have NEVER been this fuckin' mad before!" Usagiyama kept shaking Midoriya which only irritated him further, "You have the balls to ask me- if I'm alright!? The fuckin' smartest man in the universe right here!"

"Well yeah!? What the fuck do you think I'm going to do!?" The green haired man roared at the woman which only caused her to recoil and become even more agitated, "What? Did you want me to say 'Oh I'm so sorry for doing my fucking job'!?"

"You ungrateful mother fucker." Usagiyama pushed Midoriya onto his back which sent a surge of pain through his shoulder, "I spent all this fuckin' time, for what? Just so you can throw it away and blame me!?"

"I'm not blaming you!"

"Right. You're not blamin' me. It hurts a lot, you know." The rabbit woman was simply seething with ire, "Watching you kill yourself because you wanna be the fuckin' hero."

Midoriya held his breath and tried to deal with the irritation in his shoulder, his eyes glossing over Usagiyama's.

"There's a huge difference between stupidity and self-sacrifice, Midoriya." The rabbit woman kept her laser focus on the injured man, "And you got a double dose of stupidity."

"Go fuck yourself." The green haired man hacked as his wound started to open up again.

"Fuck me yourself, you coward." Usagiyama spat back with little regard to what her words meant, "Probably gonna end up killin' yourself somehow, stupid. Idiot."

Midoriya's agitation was quickly replaced with confusion as he thought about what the rabbit woman just said.

"Ya know what I hate more? I spent so much fuckin' time on you and for what?" Usagiyama turned away with a distaste in her mouth, "Just so you could die? Why the fuck do you do shit like that? What would Okiyama and Shirai do if you've gone and fucked off!?"

"I…" Midoriya took a deep breath in an act to relieve his system, "I'm sorry."

"Ya think that's enough? I'm frustrated, Midoriya. I'm tired. I don't wanna see you do something so stupid again." The tanned woman was seemingly calming down, "I don't like guns and all but fuckin' hell- just shoot 'em you idiot."

"R-Right." He took a moment to stare at the ceiling, "So… You're not mad? Or Sad?"

"I'm fuckin' fuming. Don't worry though. You're still in training." Usagiyama returned her gaze with a devilish grin, Midoriya's heart stopping for a moment and the blood draining from his face, "You don't just get away with pissin' me off- what was that again? You'll be my bitch whether you like it or not?"

"W-Well, I-I don't know about that one." His worst nightmare was unfurling itself in front of his eyes as his soul dropped into some deep abyss locked inside his chest, "We… We can talk about this right?"

"Oh no. We've talked far longer than we needed to. You didn't listen to me." The tanned woman leaned over and used her left hand to angle Midoriya's face towards her, "I'm going to break you down until ya understand that I will not allow you to die stupidly like that- it ain't your time."

It's been a few two weeks since Midoriya's discharge from the hospital. Being pierced through by a steel beam has reduced the effectiveness of his shoulder. Luckily for him, he could reduce this issue by increasing the amount of synthetic muscles during his armor's repair. He found his mind swirling around however, he didn't understand why Usagiyama was so adamant in telling him not to die. Well, he did, he just didn't see what she meant about 'Self-Sacrifice'.

'She's telling you not to die, dumb fuck.'

"Okay, well, I already knew that."

'I asked you if you were willing to die, you said you were completely fine. That was her problem, Midoriya. You're not thinking.'

"You're becoming a thorn in my side again."

'Sorry for giving you a reality check.'

"Ugh."

His relationship with the Horizon was a lot different these days. Midoriya wasn't sure if he was a whole different being or just a manifestation because of what he'd done in his past and if it wouldn't jeopardize his job, the SAT captain would've had a proper psychological evaluation to figure out what the hell was wrong with him. Maybe he wasn't the only one with voices in his head- which meant he was normal. At least however normal a quirkless man could possibly be in this world. Needless to say, Midoriya decided that maybe not dying was a good idea so he wanted to look for upgrades to the SAW, which was hard because steel is way less expensive than any other materials that are worth their price and within his economic ability. Steel was already pricey for him and Midoriya was willing to expend a huge amount of money for the electronic components anyways to reduce chances of failure which would inevitably kill him in poor circumstances. Midoriya could ask Usagiyama for money but he was a bit too prideful and she probably wouldn't shell out any cash for him anyways.

Once thinking about Usagiyama, Midoriya actually reverted to a slight amount of self-resentment. He made the rabbit woman so furious that she was shedding tears, it felt worse than using a stun grenade against her. Perhaps, something deep inside him still believed that she was the same as everyone else in the world. A feeling so vile and grotesque that he subconsciously tried to hide away, far below the harrowing of his desolate soul. Something that Midoriya would cast away in a heartbeat. Usagiyama was one of the few people that haven't cast him away so watching her cry out of rage… It crushed him.

"Whatever." Midoriya whispered to himself and started to don his armor, "Got to get ready…"

The past two weeks have been mostly paperwork, self-training, and repairs. Usagiyama hadn't really said much to him for a while which was concerning in it's own right but he couldn't blame her. So with her absence, Midoriya had been going to the training grounds alone and practicing on his own time. The green haired man wasn't expecting Usagiyama to be waiting for him like she used to so he pushed his door open and of course, there was no rabbit. There was a slight aching in his heart every time this happened but maybe this was the world's penance for him. Opening a panel on his right thigh, Midoriya pressed a few switches and felt the pressure around his ankles grow as the pneumatics increased in pressure. Positioning himself, he oddly enough resembled Usagiyama as Midoriya pulsed upwards and grabbed at the edge of a roof top, lifting himself over and hopping as fast as possible to the training location. Normally, one would be apprehended for using their quirk this way, but Midoriya wasn't using a quirk. A nice loophole that he was able to abuse.

It took about fifteen minutes for Midoriya to reach the training grounds, his stamina barely touched as he entered and cracked his neck. As he started to take steps deeper into the training area, Midoriya felt a large crash against his back and tumbled forward. Swiftly pushing himself off the ground and turning towards the figure, it was evident the armored man was not happy with being randomly struck.

"Hiya." The woman's white long rabbit ears twitched, "Ya miss me, Green boi?"

He was still slightly irritated but seeing Usagiyama after a long while felt nice, "I thought you were sick of me. Haven't seen you in a while."

"Nah, just had a lot of paperwork and stuff." The rabbit woman held her hand out and helped Midoriya up, "I watched ya jump over here."

"...Yeah? W-What about it?" Midoriya averted his gaze, a slight embarrassment, because he knew that he changed the way he moved because of its overall effectiveness and that it resembled Usagiyama's movements to a tee.

"I find it cute. First you have little ears on ya helmet and then you hop around like me-" She was clearly excited as she poked at Midoriya's armor, "-Lil' green bunny."

"I'm about," The taller and far larger figure used his hands to show the slight 12 centimeter height difference, "this much taller than you."

"...Fuck you." The rabbit woman used her left leg to trip Midoriya, the armored man plummeting to the ground once again.

"H-Hey!" The green haired man caught himself and glanced back at the shorter figure, "What the fuck was that for?"

"Shaddup. Get over here." Usagiyama positioned herself into a stance and seemingly prepared to leap away, prompting Midoriya to reposition himself and shake his head, "If you don't keep up, we'll do this again- over and over, even when you're hungry or tired."

"Wait wha-?" Midoriya was confused until the rabbit woman took off, his heart stopping as he wasn't looking to be punished for any reason- pulsing off the ground, "-Shit!"

The armored man pushed off the ground and followed. Using her technique, he was able to stay close behind her- to his own surprise. Being able to do such a feat was really something he needed to boost his confidence as he moved accordingly, the rabbit woman looking back and holding a large grin.

"You're faster!" Usagiyama pushed past the urbanized area and into a dense forest, pressing off tree branches and moving with light feet, "But are you stronger!?"

The rabbit woman spun mid flight, utilizing Midoriya's momentum and swinging into a kick. The armored man reacted and brought his arms up to block the strike, a surge of pain due to the recoil. He was thrown downwards into the ground, struggling to pick himself back up. Swallowing his pride, Midoriya opened a compartment in his chest and a smoke grenade popped out. His head was spinning as he pulled the pin of the device and threw it at the ground- a billowing and sweetly scented cloud spewing out. Usagiyama knew that Midoriya was planning something in the smoke so she decided that she wanted to remove his only form of cover- guiding her foot downwards and slamming into the dirt- a crater left in its midst. The air was still scented as she looked around, keeping her ears low- she was expecting a stun grenade as she scanned the forest. The armored man expected that and decided to do something different, pulsing out of the treeline and starting with a drop kick, the rabbit woman actually surprised and excited by the movement. Pivoting on her feet and causing him to miss, Usagiyama brought her right arm up and slammed it into the barely airborne figure- sending him tumbling past her.

Midoriya felt his air leave him but he continued to push forward. Endurance training and a reduction of smoking really helped him out here. Quickly recollecting himself, the armored man rolled into a stand and brought his fists upwards.

"It's been two weeks and you're doin' a lot better!" The rabbit woman felt an exhilaration in her body as she rushed forward, kicking off the ground to apply even more speed to her approach- a brutal right hook kick.

In reaction, Midoriya took the brunt of the strike and grabbed her leg like he did to Tsukuyomi the months prior. Leaning forward with his increased weight because of the SAW, the armored man found himself pushing Usagiyama downwards and looking past his visor and into her eyes. She smiled. Wait, why was she getting further and why does my stomach hurt? Midoriya was kicked into the air by both of Usagiyama's incredibly muscular legs, the green haired man struggling to land and falling onto his back- the air in his lungs being forced out. He swiftly found himself being mounted by the rabbit woman, her feet pressing down his wrists as she sat on his chest and looked down at him.

"This is familiar, isn't it?" Usagiyama unlocked Midoriya's helmet and took it off, "Ya bummin' me out, again."

"Am I now?" The green haired man heaved for air.

Usagiyama was confused as she watched Midoriya slowly turn his head away from her, "Wha?"

She was being lifted up as Midoriya's pneumatics slammed against each other and the overall weight of the green haired man couldn't be held down by Usagiyama's lighter mass. The rabbit woman backed off and drew herself into a stance, the armored figure before her reclaiming his helmet and connecting it. Upon linking his helmet, the slim visor gleamed green and corrected itself, Midoriya bringing his body into his own stance as he prepared for Usagiyama again. To say she was impressed was hardly close enough, she was ecstatic. For their last duels, if Midoriya went down, he stayed down- now he was pushing himself, something that the rabbit woman didn't expect.

"Nice!" Usagiyama took a heavy step forward and followed with a left hook kick towards the armored man's head.

Swiftly bringing his right arm up, the strike was blocked but still felt painful. Clenching his teeth to mentally reduce the pain, Midoriya responded with a right straight, the flexible woman leaning back and bringing herself into a highly acrobatic flip. In recovery, Usagiyama spun on her hands and positioned herself into her nameless rabbit stance. Drawing himself back in preparation, Usagiyama pulsed forward and closed the distance between them at a lightning fast pace, spinning aerial into a savage axe kick. Midoriya's eyes went wide as he watched her face maintain a dangerous grin and her mouth start to speak.

"Shit!" The armored man brought both of his arms up in a cross, barely making it in time as he was thrown meters away into a tree.

"Luna Arc!" The rabbit woman landed on her feet and finished her move's name.

His forearms felt like they were on fire. It wasn't as painful as, well, being fucking stabbed, but this was just as fucked up. Usagiyama started to close the distance, her smile dissipating. He still hasn't even attempted turning the tides into his favor. She knew his whole arsenal and what he could do with it and it pissed her off that he wasn't even attempting. Sure, stun grenades hurt and all but watching him hold back against her? That made her furious- especially because it was one of the things he'd been hiding from her.

"Ya holdin' something back, Green." The rabbit woman called out as Midoriya tried to regain his senses, "Don't think you can afford to hold back against me."

Slowly raising himself and finally recovering from his discombobulation, the green haired man staggered and brought his arms up again, a slight shaking in his system. Midoriya had a little more pride left than he expected. He found himself perplexed when she sighed and sat down in front of him, a clear irritation plastered across her face. Slowly dropping his stance, he tilted his head and looked towards her.

"W-What?"

"I dunno, ya got me all bummed out. You were doing so much better in just about everythin' but now it's just the same thing over and over again." There was a slight boredom in her voice as she didn't even bother to look at him- which caused a stinging sensation in his chest, "Just borin'."

"The fuck does that mean?" Midoriya was offended.

"Just seems like you peaked a few weeks ago." Usagiyama taunted, she was well aware of what she was doing, "Not sure how I can help ya anymore, regardless of tryin' to break ya down."

The armored man was quiet as he took off his helmet. He was starting to question his own abilities, was she right? Was this his peak?

'You need some confidence in you, man. If you want to show your peak, use everything you have- or you can let me take over.'

Midoriya didn't respond but understood that Horizon was right. Yet, it just didn't sit right with him still. He didn't like seeing Usagiyama angry or sad- any of that even if she was willing to crush his head with her thighs. Which he wouldn't necessarily disagree with. Although he didn't give up instantly upon being captured- he just had too much pride to use a stun grenade. Midoriya knew that it was the key to him winning but he just couldn't fathom using it and because of that, she was bored of fighting him.

"Ah, fuck it!" Midoriya connected his helmet once again and swung at Usagiyama, catching her off guard but because of her enhanced senses she was able to respond easily.

"H-Hey! The fuck is wrong with you!?" The rabbit woman distanced herself and brought herself into a fighting stance, "Did I piss you off!?"

"I'm not ready to give up yet!" Midoriya responded, pressing the assault and positioning himself to do a straight kick.

Usagiyama's grin returned as she swiftly read his movement and batted the strike downwards. Recovering from the recoil, Midoriya used his final smoke grenade and dropped it between the two, Usagiyama easily understanding the movement and noises that the specific ordinance created. Hopping backwards out of the smoke, the rabbit woman understood that within the zone was nothing but danger to her- Midoriya on the other hand could see right through it due to his visor. A deep breath and the tossing of whatever remained of his pride aside, the armored figure using his right hand and grabbed one of his stun grenades, a deep concentration as he shut down his visor and he pulled the pin.

"Catch." His voice was quite ominous as the stun grenade bounced along the dirt and combusted, a blinding light followed by a delayed explosion.

"F-Fuck!" The rabbit woman's eyes snapped shut as she prepared for the sudden effect, her efforts meaningless, "God fuckin' dammit that shit hurts!"

His visor gleamed through the now lightened smoke- a piercing green light that corrected itself and dulled as Midoriya rushed out of the billowing gas. Usagiyama immediately found herself being tackled to the ground, the air in the body being forcefully pushed out as Midoriya's heavier mass pressed against her own.

"This is what you wanted, right!?" The armored figure spun Usagiyama around and grasped at her wrists and brought them both together.

The exchange was far faster than anything he had done during their training sensations, his muscles now screaming at him to tell him to slow down as the adrenaline started to leave his body. Regaining his surroundings, Midoriya glazed his eyes down at the woman- her defined back muscles and large caramel rear hidden behind just about nothing except a leotard. God forbid he saw her in this position again, he was struggling to keep her apprehended.

"Hold up, I still can't fuckin' see shit." The rabbit woman had her eyes tightly closed.

Usagiyama was well aware that she was caught and she was actually quite proud that Midoriya had finally been able to do such. Being flash banged sucked complete rat's ass, but it was a sacrifice she was willing to make. Finally able to see, the rabbit woman struggled to move, her rocking prompted Midoriya to stand up from her.

"Ya know. They fuckin' suck but ya did it." The rabbit woman rubbed her ears and sat up, a slight wetness in her eyes.

"Y-You're not mad?" Midoriya disconnected his helmet and glazed his eyes over Usagiyama's slightly droopy ears, "I… I didn't want to use the whole… Stun grenade thing."

"Wha? Why? It's the only way you're gonna win against me." She was a little bewildered at his words, "Is this you being 'disorganized' again?"

The larger figure turned away and didn't respond prompting Usagiyama to stand up and squint at him, "Come on now, out with it."

"I didn't want to hurt you." He mumbled but because of her hearing she heard it clearly.

"Aw, adorable, but it pisses me off that ya think you could hold back against me." She wasn't necessarily angry or happy- an odd level between both, "Listen well, everytime you hesitate against me, I'll knock ya silly."

Midoriya was clearly flustered as he kept his vision averted and he had one of his gloved hands over his mouth. Usagiyama found it quite amusing, it's one of those expressions she never really saw from him too often, which in turn made her face slightly rise in temperature- not enough to be visible though. Standing up and stretching her back, the green haired man finally found the ability to look at her, which she immediately finished and smiled at him.

"Alright! Get up."

The armored figure finally thought it was time to leave.

"Round 2." The smile became more devilish by the minute as she struck at Midoriya without warning, "This time, you ain't even touchin' me."

There were seven rounds, including their first. Midoriya only succeeded at one in apprehending her, his already aching muscles pretty much disintegrating in his body. He was aware overwork was a thing and he'd felt such a feeling before, so he knew that he wasn't suffering from it. At this point, he was laying face first into the dirt, captured once again by Usagiyama who was sitting on his back and eating a carrot. The crunching noise echoed in his head as he coughed for air. Needless to say, he ran out of resources by round three and was forced to exert himself a tremendous amount to no real effect. Their duels went on from the morning to far beyond noon- from what Usagiyama could tell around 19:00 - 20:00. She kicked her legs playfully as she enjoyed the environment, little regard for the armored man beneath her. She did, however, take his helmet off and offer a bite of her carrot- which he obliged due to his rising hunger and the fact that he hadn't eaten the whole day.

In fact, this new training regime reminded him of SAT training- it was just significantly more fucked up and sadistic. After a while of munching, the rabbit woman finished her snack and stood up, stretching herself to relieve the tight sensations in her limbs. Slowly turning and crouching down, she poked at Midoriya's face- his dead eyes concerning her.

"Uh… Hiya." Usagiyama tilted her head.

"Mmh." The green haired man groaned, a deep breath taken as he sluggishly started to move his arms to lift himself.

"Ya hungry?" The rabbit woman was pretty much pristine compared to Midoriya, his armor caked with dust as he popped the bones in his neck.

"I would love to eat." He replied after removing the tension in his neck.

"Okay." Usagiyama started to lightly jog in place and looked over at Midoriya and beckoned him forward, "Come on."

Ignoring the rising pain in his calves, the green haired man shook his head and followed behind Usagiyama- his breathing hastened. He just wanted to get through the day at this point. To say the run was going to be a breeze was wrong, even with the SAW, the two had to cover a sizable amount of distance before they reached the entrance of the training grounds and by the end of it, he was pretty much hyperventilating. What he was feeling was akin to every muscle in his body going on strike because of him getting his ass handed to him as well as his lack of sustenance- needless to say, he wanted to hurl.

Finally finding a place to eat, Usagiyama and Midoriya found themselves sitting down at a family run restaurant, the green haired man ordering a steak set and a large mug of beer and the rabbit woman pretty much getting the same thing but with a towering stack of vegetables instead of alcohol. As per usual, the two had the gazes of multiple people, both jealous and amused.

"I uh… I'm sorry." Midoriya didn't look at the woman across from him as he cut at the thick slab of meat.

"What?" Usagiyama raised her head with a leaf of lettuce in her mouth, "Why?"

"W-Well…" He was struggling to find the right words, an intense amount of embarrassment rising on his face, "I made you… cry and all…"

The rabbit woman couldn't help but smirk and chuckle at Midoriya's words, who quickly continued with more reasoning, "I mean, you were gone for a while… I just thought you didn't want to deal with me."

"Nah. I was mad and all…" Usagiyama placed her utensils down and leaned back, "but what's the point in stayin' mad about somethin' temporary? Live in the moment, ya know?"

She was too forgiving. It actually hurt his heart in a squeezing grip. Other than speaking her mind nearly all the time, she was still a nice person- something that Midoriya didn't think he would've said many months ago. Perhaps what he felt was respect for her but all the random fantasizing in the tub was probably something else, something more… lewd.

"Ya know Green, if you keep staying in the past, you'll never get to see the future." Usagiyama picked up her knife and fork to cut her steak, "Also, smile more. Ya look cuter when you smile more."

"I… What?" Midoriya glanced at the woman, he was still slightly flustered but more confused now.

"I said, you would look cuter if you smiled more." She was very elaborate and even logistical as she repeated herself.

"...Uh." The green haired man felt his shoulders tighten as he went ahead and continued to eat, "R-Right."

Usagiyama loved when he squirmed. Being a bit honest to herself, she also found it exciting when he caught her earlier today- something she hadn't felt for anyone in a very long while. Sure, she was furious with him to the point of crying quite a bit ago but she didn't really put much on him. She put out her reasoning and told him what her issue was and now she wanted to bash it into his head over and over until he knew. Which was ironic because blunt trauma was a primary factor of deaths nowadays- which was even more ironic because she actually enjoyed winning duels against him. Her favorite moments in both fights and spars are when she walks the thin line of winning and failing, some people can offer it and some cannot. In this case, Midoriya had all the potential to actually match her which in turn meant that he had the potential of being the first Quirkless hero in history. Now that's how you prove people wrong- like bone boy, All Might.

The rabbit woman actually found her gazing at the man's features, Midoriya putting a piece of steak into his mouth and feeling her eyes on him. Slowly, all the while keeping his head down, he angled his eyes towards her which caused her to clear her throat and continue to eat. Usagiyama didn't say anything else, just some munching on salad and maybe some rice. Midoriya on the other hand could barely taste anything, reaching for his mug which was quickly pilfered by the woman across from him. This would be the third time on record that she had done this and he was getting used to it- which actually scared him. It was an odd mix of both fear of himself, a pent up libido, and an attraction that he was pretty sure was one-sided. He waited for Usagiyama to finish her "booze tax" before reclaiming his drink, a slight amount of malice in his expression which caused her to smile innocently. Taking slow sips, Midoriya made sure that Usagiyama knew about his discontent with her drinking his alcohol.

"What's with the look?" The rabbit woman smirked.

"I paid for this. I didn't pay for you to drink it." Midoriya glared at the woman which made her laugh, "What's so funny?"

"I told ya, less drinkin'." Usagiyama relaxed herself and leaned back against the chair.

"To be fair, I didn't eat all day. I'm hungry and tired." The man across from her wasn't necessarily enraged but he was a little irritated, "The least you can do is let me drink."

"Maybe when you get your hero license."

"...Deal."

Graduated today. It felt nice :)
