"Okaeri" Layla said as she opened the door for Lucy to go in.

"Tadaima" Lucy sighed and looked around.

They lived in a small mansion at the upper hills of Magnolia and own another mansion by Haregon for her father's buisness mostly.

The house was quite big compared to the house they had in her dream, and that made her sad for some reason.

It didn't feel right for some reason.

As Lucy walked around the living room, she noticed a few boxes lying around, some closed off and some still half full.

"What is this?" Lucy asked as her parents came in and looked at what she saw.

"Oh, because the doctors advised you should walk more, I decided to buy a smaller house in the city that will be closer to your school" Jude replied as he took off his formal jacket and folded it nicely.

"The house looks really nice and it's a five-minute walk from school so it was perfect" Layla added and walked closer to Lucy.

"Okay then, if you say so" Lucy smiled at her mother and went to the kitchen.

"I want to help with the cooking" Lucy declared and went to the cooking books to find something to make.

"You don't need the books honey, I already know what I want to make" Layla replied with a light laugh as she walked over next to her daughter.

"There is no need to start making everything now, we still have more than enough time for it. Why won't you go to your room while I make something for lunch?" Layla offered as she started to get pans and pots to make something for the family.

"Are you sure? I can help" Lucy offered but saw that her mother has somehow already set everything she needed.

"I don't have anything to give you to do" Layla replied with a sweet smile.

"Just go, rest up a little. I'll call you when lunch is ready" Layla shooed her daughter who just sighed and agreed.

When Lucy walked in her room, she saw all of the presents Natsu had left for her all around the room, but it looked like so much more than what was in the hospital.

"Dad?" Lucy called and waited for her father to come to her room since he was at his own bedroom.

"Yes sweetie?" Jude replied and went into her room.

"There are a lot more presents here than there were in the hospital, why are there so many teddy bears?" Lucy asked while touching each toy she never saw before.

"Honey, until you woke up, I had to bring huge boxes of gifts home 4 times! Your friends from school are really nice kids I must say, but they brought too many dolls in my opinion" Jude laughed.

"O-oh, yeah, my friends are great" Lucy laughed awkwardly back.

"I will go help your mother, call me if you need anything, okay sweetie?" Jude said as he walked out the room.

"Sure dad" Lucy replied with a wave.

As Lucy looked around the room, she noticed a pile of letters on her desk. She decided to read them until she had to go and took all of them to her bed.

She looked at the first one, it was orange and had pretty handwriting on it so she decided to read it.

"Dear Lucy.

I heard what happened to you a few days ago and I had to come see you and make sure you are okay. Well, as much as you can be for now.

I always admired you at school for how smart you were and for all the reading I saw that you did.

I remember how much you liked reading Zekua Melon so I got you this new book that came out yesterday, hope you like it., it is called 'Daybreak'.

I know we don't really know each other but I had to come visit you as you are an admirable person and I admired you for so long for your studies and beauty.

I hope we could become friends when you wake up, because I know you are a tough girl and you will wake up, sooner or later.

Hope to see you at least by senior year if not before!

Stay healthy and safe,

Levy M."

Lucy smiled as she read the letter. 'She doesn't even know why I read so much' she thought to herself with a sad smile.

Lucy looked at her bookshelf to see if the book was there, and it was.

The book looked brand new and Lucy decided to read it later but she had to look at the cover now. She admired the artwork and decided to open and read the first line at least.

When she opened the book, she saw a handwritten note on it that read 'Hello Lucy, your friend told me what happened to you, hope you wake up soon and enjoy my book. Zekua Melon' with his signature at the end.

Lucy looked in awe as her favorite author actually knew something about her and signed a book for her.

She had to find this girl and thank her and repay her for this gift.

When Lucy went back to her bed to see the other letters, she noticed they are all from Natsu, and she already told herself she will read them all when she has a full free day so she put them all away in a box in one of her drawers.

Just as she was about to close the box, she noticed a letter that had different handwriting from Natsu or that Levy girl and decided to open it.

The letter was messy and had a few different hand writings on it, all written in different colors and places over the paper.

'Wake up soon'

'Feel better already'

'Hope you wake up soon and meet us'

'Get well soon and come see us'

'Hope you feel good even though you are asleep'

'Hope you like our presents'

'We promise to be your friends if you wake up soon'

So many little notes like these written all over the paper, making Lucy laugh and smile at the cute little messages those people left her.

'Probably Natsu's friends. If they are anything like in my dream then we will be great friends, right?' She asked herself and sighed happily when she put the letter in the box and closed the drawer.

"Honey! Lunch is ready!" Lucy heard her mother yell from downstairs.

"Coming!" Lucy yelled back and went down.

When Lucy went into the dining room, she saw a table full with her favorite food and smiled brightly at her mother.

"Thank you so much!" Lucy said with a huge grin as she sat down next to her father and in front of her mother.

"Anything for you" Layla replied smiling.

"Itadakimasu!" They all said and started to dig in.

Half an hour later, they all finished eating and Lucy helped her mother clean up before going to the living room to watch some TV together.

"Oh, I almost forgot! Your class president came by earlier to give you the materials for the exams you missed" Layla said and gave Lucy a folder with a few papers in it.

"That's it?" Lucy asked and looked inside. There was barely anything to learn, she knew most of this already.

"That is all he gave me" Layla replied with a shrug.

"That Hibiki..." Lucy muttered and sighed.

"Did he say anything about when I need to do the exams?" Lucy asked.

"In two weeks, just before the Halloween party in your school" Jude replied as he checked the calendar.

"What? It's already October?!" Lucy exclaimed.

"Honey, you were in a coma for 6 months" Layla told her with a sad smile.

"I know, but... When was my accident?" Lucy asked as she tried to calculate the dates.

"April 16th" Jude said in a low voice.

"That's..." Lucy tried to say with wide eyes.

"My birthday" Layla added with a sigh as a tear tried to escape her eyes.

"I'm so sorry..." Layla and Jude heard Lucy whisper and when they saw her looking down, trying to hide her tears, they went to hug her tight.

"It is in no way your fault" Layla said as she let Lucy cry silently on her shoulder.

"It is only that drunk drivers' fault. May he rut in those cells" Jude said and hugged both tight.

"I'm s-still so s-so-sorry m-mom" Lucy croaked and hugged both her parents as hard as she could.

"Shh... Don't cry my babyl" Layla tried to sooth her daughter.

"It is all okay now, you are here, safe and alive" Jude added and kissed Lucy's head.

Lucy nodded and tried to calm down. Sometime later, after they all started to smile again, they noticed it was already 3 PM.

"Sweetie, go take a bath and change. Dinner will be ready soon and Natsu is coming soon" Jude said with a smile to Lucy.

"I will" Lucy said with a smile back, then a few seconds later her eyes went wide.

"Natsu is coming?" She asked her mother since Jude left them, probably to get ready too.

"Yes, and his mother, Grandine, and brother Zeref, are coming too" Layla said with a smile.

"When was that decided?" Lucy asked, still with wide eyes.

"When we were in Igneel's room... Honey, are you sure you are okay? This happened this morning" Layla asked as she checked Lucy to see if anything looked weird.

"O-oh! Yeah! Of course! Totally forgot, from all the emotions probably" Lucy brushed her mother off, but Layla was just happy her daughter was okay and alive.

"Okay, go freshen up. I'll call you" Layla said and went to the kitchen.

"Okay" Lucy replied and got up.

"Don't forget, we are having a formal dinner so formal attire!" Jude said as he passed the girls to go to his study room.

"I remember" Lucy replied with a smile and left to her room.

'Okay, Natsu is coming, with his mother and brother, normal' Lucy told herself.

'Come one Lucy! He is not the same Natsu from your dream! They just look the same!' She scolded herself with a sigh.

'He is not the same' She told herself one more time.

Lucy sighed again and went to the bathroom to take a long bubble bath to relax her mind.

An hour later, Lucy was all ready for dinner. She wore a light violet-colored, V neck dress with spaghetti Straps that ended at knee length in an asymmetric pattern. She had an amethyst jewelry set, silver ballerina shoes, with her hair in a messy bun with a few strands of hair out and curled. Lucy put light makeup on to hide the fact she cried not too long ago.

'Ready' Lucy told herself in the mirror, she liked how she looked.

"Lucy dear, the guests are here!" Lucy heard her mother yell and they a few faint hellos.

"Okay, everything is normal, he is not the same Natsu from my dream so I don't have any reason to be in love, I need to get to know him so we can be friends' Lucy told herself with a slight feeling of sadness which she brushed away.

With a deep breath, she went out of the room and went down to the dining room where everyone was.

Right before she went in, Lucy took another deep breath and mustered her best smile she could at the moment.

"Hello everyone" Lucy said and watched as the Dragneel family turned to her.

Her jaw dropped.

The woman, Grandine as Lucy remembered, was stunning. She wore a black maxi dress that looked to elegant on her, with her hair tied up in a beautiful bun, she had light makeup on, black Dimond set for her earrings and neckless which looked elegant and stunning.

She was the same level of beauty as her mother, who used to be a model for jewelry and dresses a few years ago until she decided to quit to be more with her family

Zeref wore a black, long sleeved banquet shirt with white pants that fit him just right and camel colored elegant shoes. Formal and good looking if Lucy may add

And Natsu, oh, Natsu.

Natsu wore a formal, marron colored, long sleeved buttoned shirt that hugged his body, showing off his muscles the best way they could before ripping, dark gray elegant pants with a black belt and black elegant shoes, He had a silver watch on his right hand and a silver ring on the other, he had 2 beautiful black Diamond earrings on one ear and a beautiful silver chain earring from his helix to his lobe.

He looked like a model and Lucy had to stop starring before she drooled.

"Are you feeling okay dear?" Layla asked Lucy, who was stuck in her place as she looked at their guests.

"Y-yeah! Fine, just... They look like models" Lucy whispered to her mother.

"Why thank you dear" Grandine answered with a light laugh. Lucy blushed and looked away

"We have good hearing" Zeref said, making Lucy nod in understanding.

Lucy noticed Natsu was looking everywhere but her and didn't say a thing.

"How are you?" Lucy asked him, deciding she should try to be closer to her new friend.

"I'm good... You look... Umm" Natsu tried to talk without starring too much, which was very hard for him.

"Need water?" Lucy asked with a light smile at his efforts.

"No" Natsu plainly answered as he tried to hide his nerves.

"You look gorgeous" he finally said after a few minutes, looking at Lucy right in the eyes, making her blush.

"Th-thank you, you too" she replied and looked away.

"Thanks" Natsu smirked a little and went to take a sit at the table next to his brother, and much to his astonishment, Lucy sat right next to him on the other side.

"My place" Lucy answered the question he asked with his wide eyes.

"Oh, well good, now you're close to me" He replied with a grin and made Lucy blush again.

'I'm good' he told himself and kept smiling.

'I'm done' Lucy told herself and tried to stop blushing.

"Please, let's eat" Layla said and that is when Lucy only noticed the very full and beautiful table in front of her.

Layla made 4 salads, mashed potatoes and baked ones, chicken, beef, rice and bread, so much food for just 5 people! It looked like it could feed at least 15 people.

"My sons eat so much, this is just great" Grandine said with a smile to Layla as she took some food to her plate.

"I remember, just like their father" Layla replied with a light laugh.

At that moment, Lucy noticed the amount of food both Natsu and Zeref took to their plate. There was a mountain of food on each plate, it looked like it could be eaten by at least 3 people, but no! Both Natsu and Zeref finished it by themselves AND took another few servings.

An hour and a half later, everyone finished dinner and dessert and moved to the living room to chat for a while before the guests needed to leave.

As the adults chatted away talking about life and business, the two teens just sat there, having no idea what to do.

And as if faith decided to give them a little help, Layla had a great idea.

"Why don't you two go to the backyard? It is a clear sky night tonight and it looks rather beautiful and I am sure that you are bored from our conversations" she suggested with a smile.

"What a wonderful idea! Go on you two" Grandine shooed the teens with a smile.

The two just nodded and left, barely glancing at each other as they went out.

"They look nice together, don't they?" Layla asked with a content sigh.

"I think Natsu is a very suitable man for her" Jude agreed with a nod.

"Oh! It would be great if they got married and had kids!" Grandine gushed, making Layla laugh and agree and Jude to choke from shock.

"They are still young mother" Zeref replied with a light shake of his head.

"But they do look like they belong to each other, even with the awkwardness they feel at the moment" he added with a soft smile.

"Awkwardness? I would say it's more like shyness" Layla replied as she thought of how they acted.

"It's the same thing, isn't it?" Zeref asked with a laugh.

"It sure is" Grandine agreed.

The adults kept on laughing and already low-key arranged a wedding for the two teens, who had no idea what is happening and were sitting outside, looking at the stars and contemplating on what to say.
