It was Monday morning, and the Heartfillias had left with the movers to their new house in the city. They had spent all of yesterday to pack their belongings, getting ready to move out as soon as they could.

Their maids from the Haregon mansion had come to help finish everything by the evening, and Jude had decided to leave two maids at the house to keep it maintained in case they move back for any reason.

As they drove to in the city, Lucy looked at all the people and shops there were on the main street. From flower shops to prestige clothes shops, it looked like Magnolia had it all. They had past the mall, the church, the city hall and a large building that looked rather familiar to Lucy.

"What is this mama?" Lucy asked as she pointed at the building.

"Oh, I don't know sweetie, we will have to go there to check it, it looks quite nice" Her mother replied as she eyed the place.

"We will, as soon as we finish moving today, we will all go to explore the city, what do you say?" Just asked as he peeked at the place while driving.

"I would love to" Lucy agreed.

"Then we should finish fast" Layla said with a smile.

The drive was about 20 minutes, and as Lucy saw the street name they pulled up to, her heart started to beat fast.

"Strawberry street?" Lucy asked herself quietly.

That's where our house was in my dream

"Yes darling, the house we bought is right there" Layla said and pointed at the house they had pulled up to.

"No way" Lucy stared with wide eyes.

"You don't like it?" Jude inquired as he looked at his daughter.

"I do! It's just... I feel like I know the place" Lucy replied, she didn't want to freak her parents with her dreams and the similarities.

"How would you know this place? I don't remember ever being here with you" Jude asked as he tried to remember if he maybe did take Lucy with him to the city.

"You might have, you did bring her with you when you had the meeting here nearby at the sushi restaurant" Layla said with a small shrug.

"Might have been it then" Jude agreed with a nod.

While the movers brought everything in the house, Lucy went to explore it.

It was the same house, just like in her dream, she had walked past every room and recalled what she had seen in her dream, how everything had looked, how things were placed, it has kind of intrigued her while also it scared her.

"Can I help decorate?" Lucy asked as she joined her parents in the living room.

"There's no need, the maids will be here shortly and do everything, we just need to separate the things to the rooms they need to be in" Layla replied as she checked the boxes.

"Allright" Lucy replied with a nod. She had begone to help them move the boxes to their places, mostly moving her things to her room.

About an hour later, the maids have arrived and started working, unpacking everything as they were told beforehand.

"Shall we go then?" Jude asked as they were all back in the living room again.

"We can, I believe we should go eat first" Layla said with a smile, "We did not eat breakfast yet and it is almost lunch time" She added as she noticed the time.

"Brunch!" Lucy was excited, she knew exactly where they would go for brunch.

"Yajima's diner it is then" Jude agreed and went to start the car.

As they drove, they had passed the familiar building again, Lucy had to go check it out.

"Are we getting the usual?" Lucy asked when they pulled up and got out of the car.

"Of course, I will never miss Yajima's stake if I am here" Jude replied with a laugh.

"And I have to get his waffles" Layla agreed.

"Pancakes it is then" Lucy smiled and went it.

"Welcome to Yaj- Oh my! Jude! It has been so long! How are you?" Yajima asked as he noticed us coming in.

"We are quite well, and you? I see the place got a little bit bigger" Jude replied and looked at the place.

"Well, we had to, there was no room as the younger generation found this place and fell in love with it" Yajima said with a laugh.

"Oh, hello there, ladies! It is so nice to see you two as well, how have you been Lucy? I had heard you woke up a few weeks ago" Yajima said with a smile.

"I have been well, better than the doctors had expected" Lucy replied with a grin.

"That's our Lucy, strong and confident" Yajima nodded.

With that, he led the family to their favourite table. "The usuals?" he asked and the family nodded.

"Coming right up!" Yajima said and left them to get the order ready.

"It has been so long" Lucy said and starched, she missed this place.

"We should come here more, it's pretty close to home" Layla said.

"We will, do not worry love" Jude said with a smile.

Lucy looked around the place, it did look bigger since the last time she had been there. Yajima added a whole new section and made the bar bigger, and almost every table had people eating happily. As she looked at the place, she noticed a familiar blue hair sitting at a table not too far from theirs, next to her was someone tall with black hair, she was instantly reminded of her dream

Looks like Levy and Gajeel

She sighed to herself, would have been fun to have them actually be here.

Lucy turned back to her parents and they started talking about nothing in particular, just chatting happily as a family. Every few minutes Lucy looked back the that table, and noticed there were a few more people joining them as time went on, but she did not pay much attention to them as she became very hungry.

"Are you ready?" Yajima said as he came back with the food and drinks, the family thanked his and started eating right away, enjoying every second of it.

"So good" Lucy said in delight, she really had missed these pancakes.

As they finished eating, they ordered their coffee and sat for a little more, and with coffee in hand, Lucy started looking at that table again. There were now a group of friends there, all laughing and eating together. Lucy wanted that, and she knew that now, with Natsu by her side, she will have these moments as well. Just as she turned back to her parents, a pink fluff caught her eye, she looked back and saw Natsu greeting the group and joined them, laughing and eating their food, making them shive him away and him laugh.

Lucy turned around quick, she may have wanted it, but she was not ready yet. She was still scared they won't really accept here, and they had never talked before, she could not just join them now, that was not polite.

"Shall we go?" Lucy asked as she finished her coffee fast.

"What's the rush? We have a full day ahead" Layla asked as she saw Lucy chug the coffee down as fast as she could.

"I really want to see what that nice building is" Lucy replied with a fake smile, trying to hide her anxiety that crept to her slowly.

"A few more minutes darling, I cannot drink hot coffee that fast" Jude replied with a laugh.

"Okay, sorry dad" Lucy replied with a nod.

"It's alright, I know that place intrigued you" Jude said with a smile.

"It did" Lucy agreed, that was a better reason for her need to leave then her real reason.

At that moment, Lucy got a message on her phone, she checked who it was from and froze.

Natsu sent her a message.

He saw me

Shit

"You doing anything after with your parents?" the message read, Lucy thought hard on what to write back.

If she writes no, he will ask her to join them, if she says yes, he might still call her over to meet his friends.

It's a lose-lose for me

"Yes, we are going to see the city for a bit since we just moved here" She decided to say.

Whatever happens, happens she told herself with a sigh.

"Okay, wanna meet the gang? We are right behind you" He replied a second later.

She tensed up.

She was not really ready

"You don't have to, I see you are nervous" He wrote before she replied.

He noticed me?

"I'm scared" She replied simply, no reason to hide it from him.

"they don't bite, I promise" he replied and Lucy swore she heard him laugh.

"Do they know I'm here?" Lucy asked and bit her nails.

"Not yet" Natsu replied simply back

"They all really wanna meet you, ya know..." He added a second later.

"Give me a few more minutes" Lucy replied and looked back. Natsu was staring at her and nodded, agreeing to her request.

"What's wrong dear?" Layla asked as she noticed her daughter tense up.

"Natsu is there, with some kids from school... He asked me if I want to meet them but I'm kind of scared to" Lucy explained rather quietly.

"I thought you all knew each other" Jude said as he remembered all the presents she got from Natsu's classmates.

Lucy didn't know what to answer.

"You know them, but you didn't think they thought of you as a friend?" Layla asked as she thought of the situation.

"Y-yeah" Lucy answered, that was a better version to her real situation in school.

"You should go then" Layla encouraged, "You should officially meet and become friends, since they did come to you when you were..." Layla didn't finish the sentence, and Lucy understood why and smiled sadly at her mother.

"I'm okay now mom" She reassured her again.

"I know sweetie" Layla replied with a small smile.

"Go with them, they can show you around the city better than us, since they know where youngsters go these days" Jude said with a nod.

"Should I really?" Lucy questioned again.

"Yes!" both her parents said and laughed.

"And take this with you" Jude added and took out some money to give her.

"Buy yourself something if you want, kids always buy things when they walk around town as I noticed" He explained as he saw Lucy's confused face.

"Okay dad, thank you" Lucy took the money and put it in her purse.

"My parents said I should join you" Lucy wrote to Natsu as her parents got ready to leave.

"Yosh! I'll come get you in a minute" Natsu replied back immediately.

"Have fun dear, and don't come back too late" Layla said as she hugged her mother.

"Stay safe, please" Jude said as he hugged her next.

"I will keep her safe and bring her back by 8pm" Ntsu said from behind Lucy, scaring her and making her yelp.

"Oh, Natsu dear! Thank you" Layla said with a smile.

"No problem at all" Natsu replied with a grin.

As they left, Natsu looked at Lucy and smiled.

"Stop worrying, they won't ever hurt you" He said as he noticed she was still a little tense.

"Fine, but you have to promise me you stay by my side" Lucy said and look straight into Natsu's eyes. That made him gulp and blush, and she noticed.

"I will, come on" Natsu replied a second later and took her hand in his.

As they went to the table, Lucy saw everyone look at her and only one thought was in her mind

It's them, it's all them
