A black screen is shown.

Ranger: "When I first arrived here, I thought I had a second chance."

Gunshots can be heard, along with otherworldly noises.

Ranger: "For a little bit of time, I even made it work okay."

More gunshots, only this time when they are heard, the screen lights up as well.

Ranger: "My nightmares stopped…"

Cut to Ranger running through the streets of Vale, killing followers of Quake. The screen then cuts to black.

Ranger: "…But then they became real."

Quake – Aftermath

By Nine Inch Nails

Three logos appear: the id Software logo, Bethesda's logo, then Rooster Teeth's logo. Cut to Ranger walking through a forest. Atlas soldiers are following him.

Ranger: "Quake has found its way into Remnant, and now I'm going to put a stop to it."

The squad looks over to the right to find a group of Ogres and Knights. They and Ranger open fire.

Ranger: "You have also been chosen to be part of this team but know this: There are many risks involved in the operations we will be conducting."

One of the soldiers is struck with a grenade.

Ranger: "Although, the alternative to those risks would be the enslavement of all people on Remnant. And we're fighting so that won't come about."

Ranger chops the arm of an Ogre off before shooting three Knights down with his super shotgun. The group turns to see another monster approaching.

Cut to an Atlas military facility, where Ranger is addressing a group of Atlas soldiers, with Winter Schnee standing beside him.

BGM end

Ranger: "So grab a gun, confess your sins, and give them hell."

Quick cut to several shots: Ranger brandishing his thunderbolt while leaping into a horde of monsters, Winter cleaving a group of Knights in half with her saber, General Ironwood overlooking a room of strange artifacts, waves upon waves of Grimm attacking Vale and Beacon Academy, and Ruby opening her now-glowing silver eyes.

AFTER THE SHOCK OF QUAKE'S ARRIVAL

Cut to a view of Winter and Ranger standing back-to-back, anticipating an ambush.

Winter: "If what you're saying is true, then why experiment on Grimm? What would Quake have to gain from it?"

Cut to Gilman observing a vial of a Grimm's essence, before cutting back to a shot of Ranger and Winter talking with General Ironwood.

Ranger: "Whatever it means, they sure as hell ain't doing it for a science fair."

Ironwood: "It couldn't possibly mean…"

THE ONLY CHOICE LEFT

Cut to Nyx meeting with Ranger at night.

Nyx: "There's something more to this world, Ranger. Not just about its terrors, but its protectors, too."

Cut to a shot of Cinder and her accomplices when Nyx says 'horrors', then to one of Ozpin when she says 'protectors.'

Ranger: "What about them?"

Nyx: "They're much more than they let on to be."

IS TO FIGHT FOR JUSTICE

Cut to Ozpin watching the Fall Maiden, Amber, then to Ranger speaking with Ozpin in his office.

Ranger: "I'm not hearing everything. Has everything up until now just been some terrible lie?!"

Ozpin: "Trust is something that must be earned, Ranger."

Ranger: "Yeah, and I'd trust you a lot more if I knew what was at stake!"

Quick cut to more shots: Ranger and Winter dodging a necromancer's attacks, Qrow slicing through a pair of Fiends, an armored figure tearing a Beowolf's head off, Visor and Scalebearer charging at a group of huntresses, and Ruby and Ranger holding off swarms of Grimm in Vale.

Ruby: "What's going on, Ranger?"

Ranger: "I don't understand what the truth behind this world is…"

More quick cuts: Pyrrha fighting in the Vytal Tournament, Adam facing off against Blake and Yang, Winter summoning a Deathstalker with her semblance, Cinder commanding the Fall Maiden's power, and Ranger imbued with Quad Damage, carving through a group of monsters.

Ranger: "…But I'll be damned if it falls apart!"

ΨUAKE SEMBLANCE OF CHAMPIONS

Festival of the Doomed

BGM end

Ranger is in a room, looking at someone.

Ranger: "Doomguy."

The screen cuts to the armored form of the Doom Slayer staring back at Ranger.

Okay, I've made this trailer for the next Season of Quake SoC, which will expand on what happens after Volume 2, regarding Ranger. Also, "Festival of the Doomed" isn't a name based on Doom, but the Dimension of the Doomed from the first Quake. Another thing, music! I'm choosing some tracks from the Quake games, other id Software Ips, and other sources. Season 2 is going to have lots of ambition but is nowhere near what I have planned for the story next. I hope your expectations are as high as mine.
