Drunk over Coffee I

Brick entered the fast food place and headed to the counter. He clicked his tongue at the man behind the counter. Not a way to start the day.

Ace bore him an indifferent stare as he waited for the redhead's order.

Brick took a straw from the dispenser and tapped it on the counter. "I heard you almost had an encounter with Bubbles."

"Look man, it's 6 AM. I did a graveyard shift and all I want is to finish this so I could go home. Before you bust your knuckle, it wasn't me okay? She threw herself at me and I maybe an idiot but I'm not stupid enough to enrage the Jojo's. I know the Utonium sisters are off limits." Ace sighed.

Brick gave him a doubtful look before ordering a breakfast meal. Boomer was probably at the hotel again and Brick couldn't trust Butch to make a decent breakfast so he drove to the nearest available place for a breakfast.

He took a vacant table and began to eat. His thoughts immediately consisted of Bubbles before he took a bite from the Egg White Grill. It's one of her favorite.

For a straight A student, he was pretty pathetic. Brick laughed at himself. Missing school for a week and listening to his father's daily lecture just for a girl. No. Bubbles is not just a girl. Brick shook his head from the thought. He should just fly to Australia, it was a more effective arrangement if he wanted to avoid the blonde.

Time. Just give both of yourselves time. She'll eventually get over it. Maybe Brick can ride the new cheerleader and the incident would leave his mind. He nodded his head. Yes, that'll work.

He was about to take another bite when he saw a blonde on the counter. She was wearing sweatpants and a hoodie, her hair tied in a ponytail. Even with her back facing him and her body covered with thickest layer of clothes, Brick knew who she is.

From her get up, she was surely on a morning run and was presumably at the place to get herself a drink. Mr. Straight A Jojo was right again as Bubbles took the cup from the counter after paying her due. She turned to leave the place, taking a good gulp from her drink before the cup dropped from her hands, spilling its contents over the porcelain floor. Brick quickly stood from his chair, catching the blonde before she took her fall.

Ace nervously approached them. People who were quietly dining were now at the scene, wondering what was happening.

"What did you give her?" Brick looked at Ace, murder in his eyes.

" I didn't do anything. She ordered hot chocolate and I gave it to her." Ace replied.

"You gave her coffee." A staff pointed out after noticing the pool of dark liquid on the floor. She rushed to the utility room to grab a mop for the mess.

Another staff talked to people, claiming everything was under control. He ushered them back to their seats.

Brick leaned into her chest. Her heart thumping made him sigh. Bubbles giggled after the ends of his hair tickled her chin.

"Bubbles." Brick shook her awake.

Bubbles giggled and poke the tip of his nose. "That's not an earthquake, you silly." She slurred.

Brick arched his eyebrow. "Can you get up?"

Bubbles lazily nodded her head and pushed herself up and stood to walk only to fail. Brick reflexively caught her and assisted her up. She's drunk. Brick thought in surprise.

Bubbles lifted her hand, her index finger pointing outside. "Let's gooooo" She sang and ran towards the door. Quick as can be, Brick pushed the glass door open and out went the blonde. He quickly ran after her pulling her towards him when she almost got hit by a moving car. The vehicle honked his horn before driving away.

"Watch where you're going Assh*le!" Brick berated.

Leaning into his chest, Bubbles bit her lower lip as she grabbed ahold of his pectoral muscle. Brick pulled away with a blush after the female Utonium squeezed his chest. It was far from escaping the drunk female as she jumped from the ground latching onto him. It took a while for Brick to balance their weight before standing up straight, supporting Bubbles as he carried her like a child.

People from the fast food place watched them with amusement while Ace who was mopping the floor was still unconsciously paralyzed from the death glare he received from Brick.

Brick contemplated on what he was going to do? With various thoughts troubling his mind like, where did Bubbles come from?, and why was she drunk? His thoughts were cut short when a warm liquid made contact with his skin. Bubbles was kissing his neck.

"Stop." He tried to pull away.

The blonde tightened her grip around his neck and continued sucking his skin. Groaning, there was only one way to handle this.

Bubbles pressed her hips to his, rocking it ever so slowly as she continued touching Brick's upper body. She gently pinched his erect nipple and giggled when the redhead growled at her.

Brick patiently waited for the door to open. Blossom who was still rubbing her eyes had them widening like saucers.

Brick gave her a thin smile and a brief wave of hello. He didn't wait for a reply and entered the door, heading straight to the living room.

"Hey. Who's at the door? The doorbell woke me up." Buttercup yawned.

"Holy hell." She looked at her best friend and her younger sister who was going wild, trying to entrap the muscular physique she was delightfully playing with a moment ago.

Blossom who quickly left after Brick entered the house came back with a human-sized teddy bear. "Look what I have Bubbles."

Bubbles snapped her head to her sister and ran after her after the eldest Utonium ran to the blonde's room.

Brick dropped to the sofa with a sigh.

Buttercup gave him a pitiful look. "Are you okay? You look..." She paused and looked at the kiss marks on her best friend's neck. "Violated." she went on.

"Ya think? The professor won't be back till the end of the month. I thought you were suppose to be watching over your sister?" Brick rested his head on the arm of the couch and covered his eyes, trying to calm the raging hormone which Bubbles gladly enticed.

"Ughhh! I didn't wanna tell you this because it was my only pass on winning a free drink from you but..." Buttercup sighed, conflicted if she wanted to tell him her little secret.

Brick waited for her to continued.

"My sisters and I. We. Get. Drunk. On. Coffee." There was a pause after every word.

Brick lifted himself up from the chair and looked at Buttercup with an unusual look.

"I know. It sounds crazy, right? But it's genetical. My father has it so it's only natural for us to have it too. I'm sorry I didn't tell you but I couldn't risk a free drink." Buttercup ended with a joke.

Brick let the new found knowledge subside.

"Bubbles went on a run and probably ordered the wrong drink." Buttercup suspected.

Brick shook his head. "The man's head was way above the clouds. He gave Bubbles the wrong beverage." He stated, remembering the stupefied Ace.

"Lucky for her you were there."

"I don't get it. I always see the professor drink coffee and didn't Blossom drink one the last time I was here." Brick asserted.

"It's the only drug stronger than sleeping pills to knock Dad off and Blossom did an all nighter back then, she needed sleep."

Brick nodded his head and stood from the couch. "This is all new and something to think about but I have to go. I don't want to make things awkward after Bubbles regains her rationality."

"She probably won't remember but thanks. I owe you one." Buttercup walked him to the door.

"I'm obligated to look after all of you. No need to thank me."

The duo did their signature handshake before the redhead drove out of the driveway.

Brick slumped down on his chair as his fellow groupmates discussed what they were going to do on the slide presentation their Biology teacher assigned them. The room was filled with chatters, other students talking among themselves.

Brick brought his eyes across the room to Bubbles who was brainstorming with her group. His eyes traveled her body, skinny jeans and oversized hoodie, her usual fashion choice. She was wearing her ever contagious smile and when she felt a pair of eyes on her, blue meet red. A blush quickly appearing on her cheeks. She avoided his stare and laughed along with her group when one of them threw a hilarious suggestion on how they were going to present their work. Brick gave himself a final glance before turning to his group and joining their discussion.

The class ended instantaneously with students scurrying off for lunch break. Brick was the last one to leave, giving his best friend their signature handshake after Buttercup pulled herself from leaning on the wall and walked towards him. They headed to the benches of the soccer field where they ate their lunch.

"I'm so excited for tonight!" Buttercup took a bite from her ham and chesse sandwich.

The school's annual bonfire. The event that marked the start of winter which most students waited for. It was the only time that the school would loosen up and offer the students a joyous event. It wasn't something Brick looked forward to however, all of his previous experiences of the event were downright catastrophic. Freshmen year, he and few guys ignited the science lab into flames after deciding to create their own fireworks. His father compensated the damages with Mojo having him count the number of 'the' in the inventor's self-published book. It was 6, 783 to which Mojo thanked him, claiming he had no idea it was quiet a few. Sophomore year, his oh-so-great idea of having an animal-themed event created a havoc amongst the people when one of the students provoked the caged lion. Junior year, the day he wished the earth to swallow him whole, he planned on not doing anything extreme with a simple sexual encounter with the mayor's daughter. Unfortunately for him, the chick had an obsessive ex-boyfriend who exposed them, calling on a journalist to the place of their tryst. His body is something he was proud of but not on the city's newspaper. Now, he just wanted to stay home and work on their Biology report over the idea of going to the event.

"I just wish it was the band I'm playing with tho." Buttercup hoped.

Brick swallowed his chocolate drink and turned to his best friend. "Sorry I couldn't help you with that."

"I don't get it, why didn't you join the Music Club?"

"Troublesome." Was his short reply.

"At the least, come see me play. I know you believe it's a series of unfortunate events but it'll only be for a while. All you have to do is sit there."

Brick stared at her, their staring contest ensued until one gave up. Brick dropped his head. "Okay, I guess it won't harm anyone if I do nothing."

Buttercup squealed in excitement and hugged the redhead.

Both proceed to their own classes after the bell rang. Everyone was excited for the event of the night even the teachers gave them a quick announcement and finished their classes early. Brick searched a certain blonde throughout the afternoon but didn't prevail. Getting into Butch's car, they drove back home to slip into a new pair of clothes.

Butch, a member of the school committee, regretfully grabbed a coat from his wardrobe and set off first. The school committee had to be at the venue first to handle preparations. Soon, Brick heard Boomer's engine come to life, his car soon venturing to Megaville High School. Brick glanced at the clock on the wall and went back to reading the manga on his hand. It was far too early and he was at a good part.

An hour later, his phone lit up. Buttercup sent him a message, asking where he was. Placing the book face down on his bed, Brick ruffled his hair and walked into his closet. He grabbed a puffer jacket and headed to the garage. The redhead hopped into his car and off he went to school for a second time in a day, something he never imagined happening.

People were throwing glowsticks over their heads, singing along with Buttercup, and partying like there's no tomorrow. He spotted his older brother making out with someone at a far corner and searched for the younger Jojo. Boomer was standing beside a familiar redhead. He was flipping the kebab and helping Blossom who was most likely the only member of the school committee who was running around, making sure everyone was having fun. Boomer, the chick magnet he is, thankfully had other girls help them. He headed to where they were and grabbed a bottle of beer.

"Brick?! No mischievous plans this year, I hope." Blossom greeted.

"Hello to you too." Brick gave her a quick embrace something the Jojo brothers always did to the redhead."No. Just a bottle of beer."

He took a drink from the bottle and leaned on the table. Bubbles coming their way clad in a baby blue dress made him put the bottle down. The dress reached below her knee, had a turtle neck, and a was long-sleeved, conservative it was but the material stuck to her body like a second skin. It made Brick clench his jaw. The stares and catcalling guys gave her made her walk uncomfortably.

"Blossom, what the hell is your sister wearing?" Brick asked, remembering to avoid any words of profanity that would earn him a pinch from the eldest Utonium. Blossom looked at Brick and turned to the direction of his eyes.

"I'm taking her home." Brick decided.

Blossom sighed. "Sure. I shouldn't have forced her to come."

Brick held Bubbles' wrist and led her to his car, shooting every guy that glanced at the blonde a menacing glare.

The ride to the suburbs took faster than usual. Brick parked his car in the garage and exited his car. Bubbles followed after. She headed to the door and unlocked it, flicking the switch open to illuminate the dark house. She headed straight to the cupboard, taking a glass and filling it with water. She took a sip from the liquid, refusing to turn her back from redhead who seated himself on the island stool. She fought the tears that were threatening to fall.

Brick has been avoiding her ever since the incident. She wanted to talk to him hoping she'd do it the previous week but alas the redhead was absent. Came the following week, Monday nor Tuesday didn't work for her favor as she had a quiz on three consecutive subjects. She had seen him around the campus but didn't have a chance to approach him as she invested her time on reviewing. Came Wednesday where she was chasing him around. He was avoiding her like the plague. She cried the night of that day. Was it a mistake? Should she have not provoked his growing arousal? Is she really not worth the time of male population? Her insecurity growing, pulling her back to the cocoon she desperately broke free from. And now, here he was acting all possesive.

"Bubbles-"

"Thank you for driving me. I shouldn't keep you here any longer. You may go back to the campus." Bubbles didn't spare him a glance.

She heard the stool move, telling her Brick stood up. She released the breath she didn't knew she held and loosened her grip on the tall glass.

Her breath hitched, her body stiffening from Brick's embrace. He wrapped his arms around her waist, pressing her petite back to his chest. The redhead rested his forehead on her shoulders, breathing in her sweet scent. Bubbles brought her hands to his arms, trying to release herself from his hold.

"I'm sorry." Brick began. "I'm sorry for being a coward, for running away. I...I...I was afraid that the moment I give in, I might lose you. I'm not a very capable man Bubbles. I may have the brains but the thing inside me, I can barely control it. I don't want you to see that part fo me because the moment you do, you'll hate me-"

Bubbles spun on her heel and faced Brick. He looked so defeated it broke down her defenses. She engulfed him in a hug, crying to memories from a decade ago. The Jojo brothers who shared one father but of different mothers had their own struggles they were battling. Brick, who was abducted together with her mother, witnessed the death of her own mother when she protected him from getting stabbed by a knife. Authorities half an hour too late when they reached the room they were in found five dead bodies and a crying Brick who was begging his mother to wake up. The event also shattered a part of Mojo, he took all his sons into his custody and divorced Boomer's mother who plotted the tragic event, believing Mojo still loved his former wife. Brick underwent therapy for five years before his father allowed him to mingle with the public. Bubbles can vividly remember visiting her godfather's house, seeing the young redhead be escorted to a special room in the mansion with a doctor and numerous maids following him.

"I will never hate you nor will I ever leave you." She mumbled in his ear.

She pulled away from the embrace and cupped Brick's face. Bringing her lips to his, they shared a passionate kiss. Brick hoisted her from the floor, letting her sit on the kitchen counter.

Bubbles moaned as the redhead's slick tongue entered her. Calloused hands slid down the sides of her body. She groaned as the teasing hands intentionally miss sensitive areas that yearned for attention. Grabbing his right hand, she placed them over her breast. She arched her back and moaned as her aching breast got fondled.

She buried her fingers in his orange locks as his skillful tongue led hers, invading each others mouth. The aftertaste of beer that Brick drank from the campus, intoxicating her. Brick pulled away and bent down kissing her neck, nipping and sucking. Bubbles wrapped her legs around him as the redhead carried her, his burning kisses not ceasing from pleasuring her neck, jaw, and earlobe.

He successfully brought them to her room, turning on the lights, closing the door, and laying Bubbles on the bed. He pulled away and marveled at the girl was lost in pleasure, cheeks rouge, chest heaving, and legs spread apart. He pulled his shirt away and crawled on top of her, giving her a teasing kiss before pulling away. Bubbles reached out for him and caught nothing but air. Brick placed his hands on her knees, caressing as he dove inside to touch the skin her dress covered. Bubbles squirmed, pressing her thighs together, trapping Brick's hands in a sandwich of heated soft thighs. Pulling his hands to freedom, he played the edges of her dress before ripping the cloth from the center.

"Brick?!" Bubbles' eyes widened.

Brick kissed her now exposed stomach. "You don't like it anyway." Was his response.

Bubbles gave him a look of disbelief before pealing the ruined dress from her body. She unclasped her bra and discarded her now drenched panties, leaving her vulnerable to the half-naked guy. Brick worshipped her with his eyes, burning an image of her at the back of his head.

He leaned down once again kissing her cleavage before venturing to her breast. She moaned, arching her back, delving into pleasure as Brick sucked her nipples. She latched onto him wrapping a leg around him, gripped his hair, and buckled her hips up as Brick's hand caressed her wet core. She gasped, Brick's mouth immediately capturing hers as he slid a finger inside her. Bubbles moaned and thrashed underneath him her juices soaking Brick's fingers. Bubbles rocked her hips, meeting his pumps.

His hands were working wonders in her body making her do the same. Sliding her hands around his back, she felt his muscles flexing with every movement. She motioned to undo his pants but the pair of jeans were long gone how it happened remained a mystery to the blonde. The familiar appendage caressed her upper thigh. Brick's fingers were now replaced with the tip of his cock.

"This is going to hurt." Brick whispered before entering her with a thrust. He clenched his jaw, the tightness was a new concept to him. Bubbles screamed, throwing curses at the redhead, words he never heard her say before. She breathed like she ran a lap around Townsville. Not yet prepared for what's to come, she came when Brick moved to place them in a better position. The added lubricant made Brick smirk as he pulled out and pushed back in. Both were already nearing their release, a few more horizontal movement made Bubbles clench her walls around him. Brick grunted in release before dropping on top of Bubbles, nuzzling into the crook of her neck.
