(A/N: Happy belated bday, Brentinator! Here's to a wonderful year full of you, and thanks for letting me be a part of it! God bless you)

Peter could not tell if he was more excited or nervous. He was going to spend a week at the cabin with Mr. Stark, Pepper and Morgan while his Aunt May and newly dubbed "Uncle" Happy went on their honeymoon. He and Happy had gotten a lot closer over the years, but it still felt a bit foreign to have the man become his actual uncle, and be with him and May after he and her had been the inseparable Parker duo for so long. He would not dwell on it much, though. Besides, Morgan would keep him plenty busy. He loved the kid like a sister, and reveled in the sound of her infectious giggles, the mere thought bringing a smile on his face. This week was going to be great, and not even the Parker luck could touch it.

Sleep eagerly overtook the boy as he half sat, half laid in the backseat of the car, May and Happy smiling at him in the rear view mirror. The drive was not exactly short, and his nightly activities plus college workload kept the gates of Slumberland locked shut, away from his unconscious grasp. But he was welcome now, and just in time. He would need his energy for this week with Morgan, the little fireball that she was.

Before he knew it, May was gently shaking him awake

"Hey, baby. We're here. Morgan's still napping."

Sleep started to dissipate like covers being pulled back in the morning, and the boy stretched his limbs as he made his way out of the car, Happy helping him with his bags

"There you go, Pete."

He smiled

"Thanks, Happy. You kids have fun."

The man smiled at his new nephew

"Thanks, you too. But don't do anything Tony would do."

The billionaire in question feigned hurt at the teasing words from his former chief of security

"You wound me! That's irony incarnate."

All the people present laughed at the exchanges, Tony and Pepper embracing Peter in warm greetings and silent promises of a weekend of spoiling him. Then May engulfed him in a hug, whispering their private exchange in his ear

"I larb you. Have fun."

The hero laughed, arms around his aunt

"Larb you too. Hope you have a great time."

Not long after, May and Happy went off to their destination, eager to spend a week alone as newlyweds. Speaking of eager, Morgan was now awake from her nap, and the first words out of her mouth were

"Petey! Where are you?!"

Before he could respond, she dashed down the stairs and out into the huge plot of land that was akin to a backyard, jumping into his unsuspecting arms. But he caught her, and he probably had his enhanced reflexes to thank for that. The next few hours consisted of tinkering around in the lab with Tony, salivating over the lovely dinner Pepper had cooked up, chasing Morgan around... and it all culminated into a movie night, with E.T. being the movie of choice. Apparently, even Morgan had at long last outgrown her Frozen obsession.

When everyone had gone to bed, Peter decided to follow suit. His side had began to hurt, a small price to pay for beating Morgan at Chubby Bunny, but an annoyance nonetheless. Hopefully once he gave in to sleep, the pain would not register anymore. However, the boy understood the responsibilities that came with his gifts, and could not ignore a cry for help heard a few hours later, even though by then he was woozy and drenched in sweat. He felt cold, probably from a fever, not that his love-hate relationship with thermorregulation was any help. And that pain in his stomach was only getting worse. Fighting against the vomit trying to climb up his throat, he put on his suit and began to sling out the window.

Upon getting to the source of the scream, he realized it was a robbery, a masked man holding two old ladies at gunpoint. At least this was easy. He quickly webbed up the man and his gun, a signature damage control move he could do with his eyes closed by now, and waited with the ladies until the police came. Then he started the trek back to the cabin. A few steps into the harrowing walk, only harrowing due to the pain, he collapsed.

Tony was a very light sleeper, he had been since the Blip. Since the nuke, actually. But even more so after becoming a father. And his two kids made him age way beyond his actual years. Peter may not be his blood, but his son had given him enough heart attacks for a few lifetimes. Apparently, life did not agree with his assessment, as FRI alerted

"Boss, Peter is unconscious 30 miles East of here. He snuck out and stopped a mugging, but he seems to be suffering from acute appendicitis. Temp 102 and rising, chills, cold, pain in the abdomen and nausea."

By the time his AI finished the report obtained through Karen, Tony had already called on his suit to assemble and was already on his way to pick up Peter. He also had FRI tell May and Happy, who said they would return the following day, and to keep them appraised. May already had gone ahead and given consent as his legal guardian, because they all knew surgery was unavoidable.

By the time Tony got to Peter, which felt like an eternity, but was a mater of minutes, the boy had regained consciousness

"Mr. Stark? ow"

Tony smiled

"Yeah, it's me, Underoos. Don't move. Why didn't you say anything about how you were feeling bad?"

The younger hero cast his eyes down, voice small and tightened by a wave of pain

"Didn't wanna ruin the week for anyone."

Running a hand through his protege's hair, Tony spoke, already airborne and en route to where Helen and Bruce were waiting

"You don't ruin anything. We just wanna keep you safe."

That statement lulled Peter to sleep in Tony's arms, and he went through the surgery successfully, only to awake the next day, surrounded by May, Happy, Pepper,Tony and Morgan. Not the schedule they had planned for the week, but they were together. Try as it might, even the Parker Luck couldn't ruin this moment.
