This takes place about the time of Deathly Hallows Part 1. This won't be following the films or the books, but not I promise not to stray too far

Draco Malfoy sat on the window seal of the open window, not wanting to have anything to be in place between him and the elements. His room was cold as the frigid icy wind blew into his grand dimly lit bedroom. He stared out over the land watching the dark trees sway in the wind, the sun never did truly break through the dark heavy clouds and hardly came anywhere near where his family's manor resided. The young greatly misled man barely felt the cold anymore, as a matter of fact he never did feel anything anymore, whether it was emotional or physical, even though he hardly had much to prevent the elements from reaching his skin.

He was dressed in some trousers and his black button up which was covered by his old jumper from Hogwarts, back from when he was still 'welcome' in some way. Now he despised the idea of ever setting foot in that bloody castle ever again, even if it was most likely the place where he would find his greatest Rival and Mission.

The Ambient silence was then suddenly broken by a knock at the door, he cursed under his breath "Bloody hell, not a moment of peace. Who is it" He called out, agitated that his brooding period had been interrupted.

A voice called from beyond the door "it's your mother! Do not speak in that tone to me" she scolded before taking a breath "It's time for dinner now come downstairs" The young man sighed and responded "just have it sent up to me again, I have some things to do"

His mother opened the door and walked up to her son and put a hand on his shoulder "I think it's best that you do come downstairs this time. I feel some socializing would do you some good"

The boy laughed for a brief moment before turning and seeing that his mother was serious

"You're joking right? Socialize? With that lot?! You've got to be under a spell to think that is a good idea mother" His mother let out a sigh and rubbed his shoulder before responding "maybe, but if you won't do it for yourself, then do it for me. Just sit at the table and eat. It would do my mind some good seeing you for a bit" The witch then turned on her heels and left the room.

Draco then rubbed his head before getting up and closing the window and heading downstairs where he was greeted by the usual screams and yelling, most of them coming from his deranged aunt Bellatrix who was yelling at just about whoever passed by whether it be the house elves or Snape who sat beside her eating clearly done with her needless rants. Beginning to regret his decision he turns to head for the hallway and then upstairs to his room where he sees Fenrir coming out of the dungeon grinning and beginning to head to the dining room where he sits across from Bellatrix and begins boasting to her about something.

Draco found the werewolves behavior strange, both for his gleeful attitude and him being in the dungeon as there wasn't anyone there last time he checked, which was about 2 weeks ago. The boy's curiosity got the better of him and he opted to sit at the table near Fenrir to hear what he was so uncharacteristically happy about. A moment after he was seated a house elf came by and placed a plate of food in front of him. Draco began to eat as he eavesdropped on the conversation between the witch and werewolf. He was not prepared for what he heard next

Fenrir laughed "You should've stayed just a moment longer, her screams were filled with so much terror! I like to think that I was the one to give her all those bloody white hairs on her head are from us stressing her so much with our 'conversion' methods"

As Draco ate his food and he began to think just of who he was talking about "White hair and she's evidently a woman… Could they have gotten Professor McGonagall? No she wouldn't have allowed herself to get caught, at least not by the likes of him" As the boy feigned ignorance to their conversation her heard something that made him freeze

Bellatrix laughed "and can you believe that damn name of hers? Lovegood, who the hell came up with that, and Luna, so blooming imaginative ain't it"

It was as if his blood had suddenly become ice from fear, he couldn't believe what he was hearing. The two in all their wisdom kidnapped a student of Hogwarts and were using the idea of making her a death eater as an excuse to torture the young girl, he slammed down the cutlery that was in his hands and began to yell at the two.

"Do you have a fucking Deathwish! Please tell me that you weren't stupid enough to kidnap a student from Hogwarts! You're lucky that you got out of there with your lives!"

Bellatrix scowled at the boy more mad at him for yelling then eavesdropping "you best mind yourself! Besides, who's gonna care? The girl is hardly of any use to them, at least here she's doing us a service of sorts. Besides, it's almost been 2 weeks and apparently nobody cares. Oh, wait, don't tell me. She was your lover!" The witch then breaks out in laughter as Fenrir begins to eye Draco like he was some loose end.

Draco scowls says in a disgusted voice "Of course bloody not! I hardly knew the girl, but I guess I see your point. That girl is quite clueless to many things and would hardly be missed by them" Having calmed down they all went back to their meals. Draco soon left the table snuck to the dungeon door, he waved his hand over it making it unlock.

Carefully he went in and closed the door behind him heading down and beginning to take a look around the damp poorly lit dungeon. He then stops in his tracks hearing a small sniffle from up ahead in the corner of a cell, he reaches into his pocket and mutters Lumos. Carefully he then opens the cell door and steps in allowing the light to reach Luna's curled up body, he gasps and takes a step back seeing the small petite girl looking even more pale than her usual porcelain white skin. He stands there in shock having not truly understood the gravity of her situation before he saw her, now he realized that she was truly a prisoner. And he was her captor.
