These next 2 chapters will be the Backstory on how Luna Lovegood was kidnapped and the events before it

Luna Lovegood walked among the library's tall knowledge filled shelves selecting the books that she would read that night. She often found herself reading them away from her room and even the castle, the young 10th year preferred to read with a unique view for almost every story making them more memorable for her. The beauty of nature has always been held dear in her heart, instilled by her father.

The young witch grabbed just a book or 2 more to add to the stack in her arms just as the bells hung from the towers began to ring signaling curfew for the students. A few moments later The Red Baron just then flew through the shelves and spotted the short silver haired girl still lost in her thoughts of where to read her selection of books that night.

"Hello my dear"

The small girl jumped slightly before looking around before glancing up at the floating man with a small frightened expression before returning to her natural soft smile

"Hello Sir Baron, forgive me you gave me quite a small fright"

The Man chuckled rubbing his transparent chin

"That would be my fault dear girl, did not you hear the bells? I do believe it is time for you to be off to bed"

Luna brushed her hair out of the way of her eyes, laughing to herself knowing that both of them knew that she hardly slept from how often they would greet in the halls in the dead of night because her insomnia was unbridaled, sleeping potions hardly had any effect on the you witch and when they did manage to work she would either be asleep as briefly as her lessons or wake up so late in the day it would hardly matter if she skipped all together

"Well I suppose it is, goodnight Sir Baron"

And with that she walks away through and out the library heading in the direction of the dorms but simply passes them by after exchanging a few greetings with her fellow Ravenclaw house members. Within a few minutes she is already past the gates and fences that outline the majestic old castle, and through the forests of bushes and trees and into the fields and hills of took quite a while for her to pick out exactly where she wanted to read her book, even though she had already started to read one of her selection while she was walking among the tall cold blades of grass.

After about an hour of searching in the cold winds and the odd icy mist, the small woman had trouble seeing over some of the tall thick blades of grass, but she spotted it. The perfect place, a hilltop with a flat rock overhanging a ledge pointing out towards the lake giving her an unexplainable view of the castle she called home for the time being. The perfect view for the series of books she had picked out for the night.

Fenrir, the powerful bloodlusting werewolf stalked along the hill range of hogwarts like he has for the past 4 months, for some reason the death eaters decided that sending one of their best men to scout out a castle protected by wards and more than a dozen of wizard and witches that never left for more then a night for business. On top of that there were the hundreds of witches and wizards in training attending the bloody school.

The tall hairy man scratched at his hand before growling out loud to himself.

"Fuck this! It's to fucking cold out here for this pile of shit, I'm done"

The man-wolf began his walk back to the tracks where he could use his port key without setting off the wards and getting back to the manor. If it wasn't for the smell of jasmine flowers he never would have noticed, there upon a small flat rock sat a small girl with her wand in her hand turning the pages to her book and feeding herself an apple. The werewolf approached weary as there was no reason for anyone to be out here in the first place, the fact that it was nearly 4AM made it even more odd. Cautiously the large wide man crept up the hill and behind the oblivious young student, before long he was only a few feet away from her with his shadow growing on her back as he rose to stand

Luna sat on the cold sleek rock smiling blissful to the danger that rose like a great wave of anger and hatred. A loud booming voice that seemed to disrupt the very sounds of the wild hit her from behind like the blow from a train whistle.

"Now what do we have here, a girl?"

Luna spun around and looked at the massive were-man with wide eyes filled with shock, but that shock quickly turned to terror as she recognized the the man from wanted posters she had seen in Hogmeade before. She decided not to let the criminal know she knew who he was in hopes that he would just let her leave.

"Uhm I just was reading, I'm sorry if I interrupted something or disturbed you, I can leave if you'd like."

She closed her book and began stacking her collection together while hiding her wand in her sleeve keeping calm on the outside. But on the inside her heart was racing, pounding against her chest as if it wanted to escape on its own. Before she could stand up Fenrir had kneeled behind her and put his hand on her shoulder. She turned to face him and saw his smug grinning expression.

"No, I don't think you will. At least not back to the castle anyways. Tell me something, do you recognize me?"

Luna in her normal graceful voice responded just a bit too quickly to the man's question

"No, I'm afraid I don't sir"

Fenrir laughed as he heard her heart accelerate even quicker, giving away not only that she lied and knew exactly who he was but that she was terrified of the Werewolf. Honestly it made him quite happy to know that he terrified her on reputation alone

"Why must you lie? What good will it do you"

Luna quickly shot up and began running off the rock and down the hill in a panic quickly taking out her wand and shouting a specto patronus. The ball of light shot into the sky creating a second moon. This was sure to alert the professors to the invader she thought. If only she had taken a second to look behind her she might have been able to avoid the massive man leaping from the rock onto her, his claws slashing through her robes and into her back making her collapse to the ground dropping her wand and books. Luna let out a shriek of pain as her robes began to soak up the warm blood that flowed from her gashes. The mutt scolded her in a hushed tone

"Quiet girl! Or I'll make you quiet, permanently!"

The writhing girl quickly bites her lips together but it does little to muffle her screams of agony. Her captor growls and shouts again more angrily this time

"I said QUIET!"

In a moment of rage he slams his fist into the side of the silver blonde's head knocking her out in the cold damp grass. Fenrir growled knowing that she wasn't playing possum and that he would have to carry her, having planned to take her with him from the beginning but now it was just an inconvenience for him to carry her. With a sigh and a grunt he had slung the young witch over his shoulder and grabbed her wand before beginning his walk to the east.
