57- Chain of Command.

Just when the sun started to rise on the North Pole, its heat caused some of the ice formation to melt. On one of these formations the Predacon continued frozen, with a few Snorunt, Cryogonal and Bergmite observing it, but the heat allowed its systems to return online, so it managed to break itself free from the ice. The cybertronian dragon roared, scaring all the pokémon nearby before flying away. Meanwhile, in the Nemesis…

"Is it really wise for Shockblast to spawn an "army of beasts" here in this laboratory or within any part of this warship?" Starscream questioned in presence of both Shockblast and Galvatron. "I mean, not even the lone beast we had was compact enough to stroll these corridors without tearing them into sunder. Which reminds me, I am so very sorry for your loss."

"I was referring to my off-side laboratory. Which we have erected expressly for the cloning procedures." Shockblast clarified.

That answer made Starscream groan. "You think of everything, don't you?"

Then the ship started to shake.

"We're under attack. Autobots?! Or perhaps some wild legendary pokémon looking for retribution?!" Starscream asked.

"Illogical. Though there appears to be an enormous mass upon the upper hull." Shockblast saw on a terminal.

The Decepticons made their way to the flight deck. The dock door opened to reveal the Predacon standing before them.

"How did it find us?" Starscream asked.

"Predacons possess precise homing instincts." Shockblast explained.

"And astonishing resilience. Starscream, assume command of my beast." Galvatron declared before he turned back inside the ship.

"Ugh…me?! Master? I-I mean I wouldn't dream of ceasing such an honor from its very creator." Starscream expressed nervous.

"Military command of the Predacon is most logical. Since my services are required elsewhere." Shockblast nodded following his leader.

The door closed in front of Starscream, who put face of horror seeing the Predacon getting closer. Meanwhile, Ultra Magnus's ship reached its destination. It landed on a cliff above an Island Cave of the sea of Hoenn, and soon the elevator descended the three Wreckers to the ground.

"Alright Beast Hunters, according to our intel the Decepticons should be excavating for Predacon bones directly beneath us." Ultra Magnus reminded.

"On it, chief." Wheeljack said before he quickly ran out in the open.

"Does Wheeljack not comprehend the chain of command? I did not authorize him to advance without proper cover."

"I'm sure Jackie is just trying to prove himself now that you are here serving together again, sir." Seaspray reassured him.

"YEE-HAH!" Wheeljack yelled before he gleefully jumped off the ledge, leaving Ultra Magnus still unconvinced.

Wheeljack was now climbing halfway down the cliff, then a few rocks hit his head, so he looked up to see Seaspray climbing down to him.

"Jackie, wait up. Ultra Magnus wanted us to…"

"Blah, blah, blah." He interrupted as he continued climbing down.

"Sh, sh!" Seaspray said as he pointed down.

Right below them was a Vehicon walking out of a cave's entrance in sentry mode. Ultra Magnus squatted from a distance on the ledge. After seeing where the others were, he groaned and changed his hand for a cannon.

"Wrecker fact number 17?" Wheeljack started.

"Guards never look up." Seaspray finished.

Then Seaspray lost his footing and a few rocks fell. They bounced of Wheeljack and landed near the Vehicon's feet. He looked up to see Wheeljack coming right at him with swords at hand. He sliced the Con's head clean off. Seaspray smiled, before Wheeljack looked at Magnus and saluted him. But soon the other Decepticons exited the cave.

"Scrap." He cursed activating his battle mask.

They fired their weapons, but Wheeljack managed to deflected the laser shots, until one got close enough to cut him and kicked him aside, only to receive a hard landing from Seaspray and one of his harpoons. He pulled out his other one and whacked another one. More lasers came from above the Decepticons, made by Ultra Magnus to distract them. And just when he was almost at the bottom he jumped off and pulled out the Forge of Solus Prime. He slammed it between three Cons, taking them out at the same time, while Seaspray finished one which came at him. He pooped one with the handle and finished it with a smash, and with another great swing he hit another one that crashed against a rock. When the combat was over, the Wreckers retrieved their weapons.

"That's why we wait for cover." Ultra Magnus said.

Wheeljack was about to say something when suddenly he heard knocking noise coming from inside him.

"Ah, bolts." He groaned remembering something.

He opened his chest plating and two pair of hands appeared: it was Misty, Dawn and Piplup, who emerged from Wheeljack making retching noise and deep breaths.

"Luckily we have been able to get out, my legs were falling asleep." Misty replied.

"Misty?" Seaspray asked in disbelief.

Wheeljack got them in both hands and took them to a boulder to rest on. "Sorry girls, I forgot you were in there."

"At least we didn't heave on your floor mats like May did." Dawn answered before she covered her mouth.

Meanwhile out on the Nemesis's flight deck, Starscream was attempting to teach the Predacon some military training.

"You miserable beast! I am your commanding officer, and I order you to crawl into your kennel, now!" Starscream demanded pointing where the Predacon was supposed to go, but the creature only made a low growl and looked away. "I said now already!"

And he zapped the Predacon's feet with the energon prod, but that was a wrong move, because the Predacon angrily growled and fired flames at him. He dodged within the nick of time, and when he got up, he noticed something hot and sizzling. He saw that the tip of his antenna was red hot and burning, so he quickly put it out. At the same time, with the Wreckers…

"And what could have possibly compelled you to bring the natives?!" Ultra Magnus demanded.

Wheeljack rolled his eyes as a flashback showed when the Wreckers were about to leave the base, he was the last one to get out when suddenly…

"Hey Jackie." Dawn called as she, Piplup and Misty walked at him. "It seems you're going for another mission. Think we could be of help by accompany you?"

"Why not? We may even enjoy the company."

That was his explanation.

"Are your circuits impaired, soldier?" Magnus asked.

"Prime told you to lead the Wreckers on this one. I assumed he meant all of them." Wheeljack answered looking back at the girls and Piplup giving them a smile.

"Are you mocking your commanding officer?"

"Wouldn't think of it, sir. The kids are full-blown Wreckers. Ain't that right, Seaspray?"

"Well, Wheeljack isn't wrong at that, sir. They may be small, but they have been battling alongside Team Prime long before I arrived to Earth. Misty also saved me from a certain Insecticon."

"Outside standard protocol no doubt." Ultra Magnus clarified.

"Seaspray's right. We have been through many hazard situations during our journeys around the world, and manage to overcome them without problems." Misty supported.

"So, we can take care of ourselves, sir." Dawn finished standing up.

"Piplup." Piplup said imitating them.

"Besides, we've drawn out the enemy and cleared passage." Wheeljack reassured pointing at the Cons' bodies.

Magnus's answer was only a frustrated breath. Meanwhile, the Predacon was now sleeping in the Nemesis's hangar while the Genesect squadron observed it. Suddenly, the sound of approaching footsteps woke it up. It looked to see Starscream in the Apex Armor.

"Okay, now in you go!" Starscream ordered pointing to the ship's corridor.

The Predacon stood up and roared.

"Ha! Do your worst. The Apex Armor is virtually…" But Starscream couldn't finish because the Predacon grabbed his arm and started tossing him around like a toy. "AH! NO! Release me!"

The Genesect couldn't help but laugh at their master's situation.

"This isn't funny!" Starscream yelled before the Predacon threw him to the wall.

"Starscream, are you with the beast?" Galvatron asked through the com-link.

"Yes, master! We've been…reviewing…attack maneuvers. He's doing quite well."

"One of the excavation teams has failed to report in."

"I shall assemble my Seeker armada immediately and…"

"I will prefer that you lead our newly returned asset on this mission so that we may see if our Predacon is as adaptive on fetching bones as it is hunting Autobots."

Meanwhile, the Wreckers were now inside the cave looking for any trace of the bones the Decepticons were looking.

"Pi?" The little pokémon said as he checked a little thing on the floor and showed it to his trainer. "Piplup?"

"Excuse me sir, is this one?!" Dawn said pointing the object.

Ultra Magnus looked at it. "No. That is a rock." He continued his way.

"Pi." Piplup said looking down.

"Don't worry Piplup, let's keep looking." Dawn encouraged.

"Ha. Just like old times, huh, Jackie?" Seaspray asked trying to cheer him up.

"Except back then, I didn't need permission to pick my partners." He answered.

"Come on, we're all on the same team. Hey, beast hunters, right?"

Then Wheeljack turned at Seaspray. "During all those cycles it took me to travel to Earth the first time, all I could think about was getting our band of brothers back together. But this isn't the lineup I had in mind." He said looking at Ultra Magnus. "You did the smart thing, Seaspray, leaving the Wreckers when you did. While we were still bringing our A-Game. Before the rust set in."

"Wait, I'm getting confused. Wheeljack said you left the Wreckers, but he speaks like if he was the one who did it." Dawn reminded confused.

"The truth is that Jackie basically deserted once the Wreckers fell under Ultra Magnus's command. I transferred out before that to offer my experience to other Autobots' fronts, including Optimus one time. Sometimes I think Jackie feels like I deserted him." Seaspray explained.

"So that's why the other Autobots said he acted like a lonesome when he first joined them, some time before meeting us."

"It wasn't your fault, Seaspray. That's something he has to overcome by himself." Misty supported.

Then the whole place began to shake. The large vibrations caused Misty to lose his balance and fell, but Seaspray caught her and covered her, Dawn and Piplup from the falling rocks with his other hand. Suddenly it stopped.

"What was that?" Seaspray asked.

Then they heard a loud shriek, followed by a lowed growl and thunderous approaching footsteps.

"Whatever it is, is big." Wheeljack deduced as the approaching footsteps grew louder. "And it's coming fast!"

Ultra Magnus stood in between both Wreckers with a bad feeling of what it might be. Suddenly the recognizable creature came crawling through the tunnel.

"The Predacon." He recognized. "Let's roll!"

Everyone changed to their vehicle forms and accelerated. The girls were safe ridding in Seaspray.

"It's back?" Misty asked looking outside.

"Piplup, Ice Beam!" Dawn commanded.

The Predacon launched a huge fireball, but Piplup's Ice Beam managed to extinguish it. The Predacon continued trying to bite the closest Bot when it was close enough, until another Ice Beam hit it on the eyes, blinding it a little. Then Magnus noticed another tunnel way on his left, so he quickly entered, followed by the others. The Predacon roared and viciously attempted to follow, but when the tunnel became smaller it got stuck, so it struggled to break free and as a last move it fired more flames, which was getting close to the Wreckers.

"Accelerate!" Ultra Magnus commanded.

They arrived to a large opening cave before the flames caught them. Once inside, they returned back to robot form.

"Look, a saltwater pond. The sea is not far away." Misty noticed.

"That rock won't hold it forever. We need to contact base and request reinforcements." Ultra Magnus decided.

"Wreckers don't call for backup." Wheeljack argued.

Seeing coming another quarrel between Wheeljack and Ultra Magnus, Seaspray decided to intervene.

"What Jackie means is we can't get a com-link signal this far underground." He explained, so Magnus looked at Wheeljack, who smirked and crossed his arms. "Girls, we have to get you out of here."

"If the water is salty, it means it's connected to the sea. We can get out of here diving." Misty suggested.

"But we can't let you face that monster alone. We want to help you." Dawn objected.

"And you will." Ultra Magnus suddenly said. "Your mission: reach my ship so you can contact Optimus Prime or Elita One."

"Yes sir." Misty nodded saluting before she entered the water. "Come on, Dawn. Piplup can give us a boost while we look for the way out underwater."

"Do you think you will be able?" Dawn asked to her pokémon.

"Piplup." He nodded.

"Then let's go."

Both girls and the water pokémon submerged, just at the same time the Predacon's roaring sounder more furious, followed by the sound of rocks breaking.

"Not sure I like the sound of that." Wheeljack said.

"So, huh…?" Seaspray started.

"We make our stand. Here and now." Ultra Magnus suggested pulling out his hammer, so both Wreckers readied their guns.

The trip to the sea was shorter than the girls expected, thanks to Piplup's swimming speed, it only took them half a minute to reach out of the cave, so they didn't need to hold their breath for long.

"Nice swim, Piplup." Misty congratulated.

"Piplup." The penguin pokémon said a little red.

"Look, there's Magnus ship." Dawn spotted.

They approached it, but once at it, they heard the sound of the elevator, so someone else was inside the ship. They went to hide before the elevator revealed that a familiar Decepticon, his pokémon followers and a few Seeker soldiers came out. So they remained hidden behind a rock.

"Given that this ship is currently unoccupied, it would seem the Autobots did stumble upon our little mining operation." A voice said, revealing to be Starscream, wielding the Apex Armor. "No worries. My Predacon is no doubt dismantling the interlopers as we speak. It was a challenge, but I managed to tame the savage beast. Taught it to heed my every command." Despite his speech, Cryotremor looked at him confused.

"How are we going to reach the ship with all those in middle?" Dawn questioned.

"Come on, come on." Misty whispered.

"You're not wearing the armor to protect yourself from it?" One of the Seekers asked confused.

Starscream looked back at them. "From my beloved pet? Of course not! In fact, it's getting rather warm in here." He pressed the button on the chest of the armor, deactivating it. Misty saw when Starscream grabbed the armor in deactivated form and placed it on another boulder. "Ah, ventilation."

Back in the cave, the Predacon continued advancing until it arrived to the open cave, where Ultra Magnus was waiting with his big hammer ready. It made a short screech and charged for him, while Magnus simply waited for the last moment to swing the hammer, and hitting the Predacon's head hard, making it screeching in pain.

"Open fire!" Ultra Magnus signaled.

Wheeljack fired at it from one side, while Seaspray fired from the other. The Predacon swung its tail at Seaspray, but he dodged receiving only a few scratches from its spikes. The Predacon charged its core and launched a fire shot at Wheeljack, who dodged it. It tried to do the same with Seaspray with the same result. That made it launch more fire in all directions, almost hitting Magnus, who slid on his knees dodging the flames before hitting hard again the beast's chest with the hammer, sending it to the ground. Still down, the creature swung its tail at him, but Seaspray grab it.

"No, you don't." He said, but the tail's strength was more than enough to pull him up and tossed him at Magnus.

With two Wreckers down the Predacon approached them, but a few shots caught its attention.

"Hey, hot head!" Wheeljack called from a ledge.

The Predacon was preparing to launch more fire, moment that Wheeljack took advantage to threw a grenade, and it was counting. It looked like it was going straight down the beast's throat, but it whacked it away with its tail in the last moment. The grenade bounced off the walls and landed in the center of the cave, just when the time was out.

"Oh, scrap." He simply said.

The blast shook the cave and created a hole near where the ship was landed. While the Decepticons and Genesect went to the hole to inspect it, the girls took the chance to reach the platform. The Decepticons noticed the smoke seeping through the crack.

"Oohh, that'll do some damage." Starscream said.

The girls were almost at the platform when suddenly Infernyphoon blocked their way, surprising them and making them stop. Immediately, the rest of the Genesect surrounded them.

"Dawn and Piplup, it's been a while. And you must be Misty, is it?" Starscream identified as he spotted them and met with his pokémon squad.

"Scrap." Misty cursed.

Inside the cave the Predacon broke free from the rubble roaring in anger. It looked for the Autobots until it spotted something shining. It went to where the shine came from, moved a rock out of the way and found a fossil of a Predacon optic. It scanned the eye and saw the Predacon that it belonged on its mind. Meanwhile…

"Oh, I'm sorry. Were you trying to reach this ship to call for help perhaps?" Starscream deduced before pressing a button that made the elevator to go back up into the ship.

But Misty decided to not give up, so she grabbed Dawn's hand and ran at the elevator. The Genesect were about to act before…

"No boys." Starscream stopped them. "Allow me to enjoy a little."

And the Seeker tried to squash the trio, but they jumped forward and rolled between his feet. They quickly got on their feet and jumped for the platform, managing to grab the ledge. But on the platform, they saw Starscream coming at them.

"Misty, enter the ship and accomplish the task. Piplup and I will handle Screamy and his pokémon." Dawn suggested.

"Really? On your own?"

"A brave attempt, Dawn. But what could possibly a merely human and a little pokémon do against a Decepticon?" Starscream mocked as he prepared his claws to strike again.

"Piplup!"

"Oh, now you have done it, Screamy. You got Piplup mad." Dawn smirked.

Piplup responded to Starscream provocation with Bubble Beam, firing at his face, forcing him to cover it with his hands. At the same time, Dawn looked at the Apex Armor, and before Starscream could strike again, while Piplup jumped down the elevator, she jumped right at the relic, and landed on top of it. It seemed like her landed activated the relic, because the armor engulfed her. The Decepticons and Genesect were in disbelief seeing the armor covering a human.

"Wow!" Dawn said when she saw herself completely covered by the armor.

"Squad, dispose of that human immediately. Fire Techno Blast, full power!" Starscream commanded.

The five pokémon obeyed their master's command and fired their cannons at Dawn. Piplup yelled in horror, seeing his trainer receive all the impacts. But when the smoke cleared, it revealed Dawn still inside the armor, without a scratch.

"Piplup?" The penguin pokémon expressed surprised.

"Fear nothing Piplup, I'm fine." Dawn reassured to her partner before turning at Starscream and his minions. "What's the matter, Screamy? Can't pick someone your own size?" She mocked advancing toward them.

Then the Decepticons heard a faint growl and looked up. Next a small object fell from the sky and bounced of Dawn's head. It rolled on the ground in front of the Decepticons' feet: it was the fossil.

"What do you know, it does fetch." Starscream remarked.

"Huh?" Dawn asked, before Starscream pointed above her chuckling, making her turned to see the Predacon landing on top of the ship. "Scrap." She cursed as she ran in fear screaming, but the Predacon caught her.

Piplup had no choice but to hide beneath the ship's landing platform. Dawn and Piplup's acting allowed Misty to sneak inside the ship. Now she was looking how to do what Ultra Magnus asked them, but at hearing the Predacon's roars she approached the window and saw Dawn being pushed against the ground.

"At least she's inside the armor. I hope it will protect her. Now let's see." She saw looking at the controls. "Aw, this doesn't look like Seaspray's ship. What are supposed to be the correct buttons?"

Meanwhile in the cave the Wreckers finally recovered themselves.

"Well, that didn't go exactly as planned." Wheeljack saw.

"That's because any first-cycle cadet knows better than to detonate a grenade in a confined space!" Ultra Magnus lectured.

"Even if I intended the confined space to be the belly of the beast?" He argued.

"Uh, sir…" Seaspray started.

"Your actions continue to be just one step removed from getting us all scrapped!" Ultra Magnus shouted as he stomped.

"With all due respect, sir, the Predacon's loose and the girls are out there on their own!" Seaspray said pulling out his harpoons and heading down the tunnel.

"Permission to provide cover, sir?" Wheeljack said to Ultra Magnus.

Speaking of the girls, while Misty was still trying to figure out how the controls worked, Dawn was laying on the floor while the Predacon crawled her, and Piplup unable to see it. Starscream and his pokémon seemed to enjoy it.

"Go ahead! Make a wreck of her! As you no doubt did the Wreckers." Starscream encouraged.

"Starscream, status report." Galvatron called through com-link.

"Master, we have secured the bone." He reported as he saw Dawn screaming while the Predacon picked her up and started shaking her like a toy. "And our Predacon is dealing with one of the Autobots' pet humans as we speak. On my command of course."

"I will not risk losing a precious commodity to your arrogance!"

The Predacon slammed Dawn hard to the ground, creating an impact crater.

"That's the best you can do?!" She provoked, but the creature was about to unleash another fire storm over her. "Me and my big mouth."

"Have the beast return with my prize immediately! You can stay behind and finish the Autobots." Galvatron instructed.

"Yes, master." Starscream nodded before the communication ended. "Assuming I can course the brainless brute into…"

Suddenly, the Predacon stood in front of them and pinned him to the ground, roaring angrily at him. It noticed the bone next to him, so it carefully grabbed it with its sharp teeth, took flight and flew away.

"What? You never obey my commands!" Starscream protested before he went back to his feet and turned at the Seekers and Genesect. "You heard our master: we must locate the Autobots. As soon as I retrieve what belongs to me." Starscream said as he approached Dawn, who looked unconscious. "Tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk. Even the strongest armor can't protect the weakest of creatures." He was about to deactivate the armor when suddenly Dawn grabbed him, scaring him.

"Protected you, didn't it?" She said.

After showing him, she grabbed Starscream by the arm, which made him scream in the process. She spun him around and threw him at one of the Seekers. The Genesect were about to attack, but Piplup took the lead and surprised Techbug emerging from the water at high speed with Drill Peck, giving it a hard hit. That annoyed the Genesect leader, who commanded the rest to attack the little pokémon, but Piplup submerged again and swam the fastest he could while his opponents attacked him with Signal Beam, Ice Beam and Dark Pulse, dodging all the attacks. Back with Dawn, the other standing Seeker soldier fired at her, but obviously the Apex Armor was doing its job fine. Dawn charged at him and tackled him that much that sent him flying. Zapwave saw it and headed back to assist the Cons, launching an Electroweb at Dawn in an attempt to immobilize her as it prepared to use Magnet Rise, but Dawn simply grabbed the web and threw it back to the Genesect, trapping it instead.

"Hey! If you mess with my boys, you mess with me." Starscream proclaimed as he fired her one of his missiles.

Surprisingly, Dawn grabbed it, allowing it to set off right in her face. The explosion created a huge cloud of smoke. He looked to see if he got this time, but Dawn jumped high in the air and as she was coming down, she kicked him, sending him crash hard to the ground. Next one of the Seekers engaged her; she dodged and blocked every attack he threw at her, until she countered with a low kick. The other Seeker soldier jumped as she elbowed him on the shoulder, she dodged two light blows and blocked a heavy blow which shoved her back. Then she charged at him and threw good punches in his torso, next she climbed on top of the Seeker and bashed him on the head. She bounced off him and kicked the other again crashing on the ground. The first one tried to trample her, but she rolled out the way and quickly got back up on her feet to continue engage them. Misty was seeing it everything through the ship's windows.

"Whoa Dawn, you're doing great. Wait until I tell this to the others." She expressed in disbelief before she noticed Piplup dodging the Genesect' attacks and try to counter without much luck, so she decided to let him some help. "Goldeen, Corsola, come out."

She pulled out two poke balls and called her pokémon.

"I need you to help Piplup. Assist him to engage those red pokémon allied with the Decepticons." She instructed as she pressed the button to low the elevator.

The two pokémon jumped down and into the water to go and assist Piplup. In that moment, the Wreckers emerged from the crack and noticed someone in the Apex Armor fighting against the Decepticons. Dawn punched one of the Seekers twice in the torso followed with an uppercut and a side kick.

"Do you still think we humans are weak?!" Dawn shouted.

The other Seeker soldier tried to strike her, but Dawn pivoted to the right around him and climbed on top of him. Next, she grabbed his shoulders and pulled him down to the ground.

"Is that…Dawn?" Seaspray said in disbelief. "And I thought Misty was the brave one."

"Perhaps you weren't wrong about the humans after all." Ultra Magnus admitted as Wheeljack smirked.

"That's my girl." The white Wrecker said.

But things were not going well for Piplup: the four Genesect managed to trap him in a rock with only an entrance to get out, so now he was cornered. Techbug spoke some commands to Infernyphoon and Cryotremor and both prepared to attack with Flame Charge and Giga Impact, but before they could reach him, Corsola jumped in middle and used Mirror Coat, which reflected the attacks and returned them to the Genesect, which felt the impact of their moves with more effect that ended on the water a little hurt. Next, Corsola used Spike Cannon against Techbug and Waterspout, forcing them to cover. Infernyphoon and Cryotremor were about to engage again, but before they could something approached them underwater and surprised them: it was Goldeen, using Horn Drill against the two artificial pokémon. Next, the fish pokémon used Supersonic on Techbug and Waterspout, which were distracted and didn't see it coming, ending confused. That allowed Piplup to freeze all of them with Ice Beam, before Goldeen hit them one after another with Agility, sending them back with Zapwave and Starscream, who seeing his pokémon a still confused or hurt enough to stand up with difficulty, looked at Dawn in fury and ready his claws.

"You chose the hard way, don't you? Well, now you will know what I shall have done with Hot Rod." He threatened.

"Oh please, you actually didn't dispose of anyone in person. You're just a coward who doesn't want to face your opponents fair and square." Dawn answered back as Piplup jumped on her shoulder.

"Pi piplup."

"And you don't know who are you messing with." Misty's voice sounded from Ultra Magnus's ship, meaning that she found how to operate the speakers. "As for me, I snuffed Bombshock."

That let Starscream without words, and before he or his pokémon could do anything, he saw the Wreckers coming.

"Retreat." Starscream ordered, and he, the Seeker soldiers and Genesect transformed and flew away.

Misty exited the ship and met with Dawn, who the Autobots reunited with.

"You guys have done it well." Misty congratulated to her pokémon.

"I'm sorry guys. They got away with the bone." Dawn apologized.

"You're worried about that? You managed to stand against Starscream and his Cons, besides five elite-trained powerful pokémon on your own. That's quite an achievement." Seaspray expressed.

"He's right, Dawn. You and Misty brought your A-Game, as your pokémon did. Like true Wreckers." Wheeljack congratulated her human partner by nudging her shoulder, before seeing both her, Piplup, Misty and Seaspray. "And I want to remember us just like this, before the rust sets in." He finished looking at Ultra Magnus.

Then for everyone's surprise, Wheeljack transformed and drove away.

"Wheeljack? Hey, Wheeljack!" Dawn called.

"Piplup?" Piplup said confused.

"Where's he going?" Misty asked.

"Solo." Seaspray answered.

"Again?!" Dawn said shocked.

"Jackie just broke up the gang."

As everyone saw Wheeljack driving towards the horizon, Dawn couldn't help but shed a couple of tears.
