Harry yawned as he walked up the stairs of Potter Manor, ruffling his hair as he walked.

It was quite early in the morning- about 4AM, so Ginny was probably still asleep.

He was proven right as he saw Ginny snoring in their bed. He slipped in beside her.

"You're late," she murmured, turning over to face him.

"Sorry," he whispered back, "work, late investigation."

She hummed and fell asleep in a few seconds, and he followed her to Morpheus' realm soon after.

The next morning when he woke up, she wasn't present beside him.

He rubbed his eyes, confused. He usually woke up before her.

Squinting at the clock, he saw it was 8:30.

"Shit," he muttered, quickly casting a cleaning charm on himself and changing his clothes.

"Mor-" he said as he walked into the kitchen but paused when he saw the scene.

His wife, sitting at the table, along with- oh no.

'I'm dead' he thought.

"Harry," Ginny said in that terrifying voice of hers, "in the past month how many times have you returned late?"

"A few-" he said but stopped as she slapped him across the face.

"YOU TOLD ME YOU KINGSLEY GAVE YOU LATE NIGHT CASES," she yelled, "YOU WERE OUT THERE SLEEPING WITH SOMEONE!"

"We never slept!" Harry protested, "We merely snogged and roamed and-"

Another slap, this time with her left hand. Harry could feel their wedding ring leave an imprint on his cheek.

"Just kissed?" Ginny repeated, "JUST?"

"I saw the ring yesterday," he muttered, "you never wore the ring before."

"And this lad didn't even know you were married! He returned back to England just a month ago and you TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THAT-"

"Ginny I-" he paused when he saw her get up and open the file- that he just noticed- on the table, "what are you doing?"

"I'm sorry," Harry pleaded as Ginny signed and he stamped the divorce papers.

Ginny merely glared at him, before walking out of the door with him on her tail.

He could distantly hear Draco explain, "I gave him my heart to break, I didn't know he broke yours first."
