"You STUPID thing."

Storkules' head slammed against the ground. He was used to the hits. This time it was because he'd looked for empathetic understanding again from his father. The older god wasn't having it as usual. His mother, Hera wasn't around and all Storkules wanted was just genuine love and respect from his dad. However, what he got was pain. His nose bled a bit. He placed his hand to it and pulled away a thick layer of crimson liquid.

"I-I'm sorry father! I thought you'd--!"

"Don't call me that!" Zeus boomed, "If you ever want to be free to call me that again, then I suggest you be something else, other than a disappointment!" It was a repeated conversation. Usually when Zeus saw the blood he'd stop. But today seemed different. There was a warm humidity on the air, the dark sky cracking and threatening to swarm the area in warm rain. "You betrayed my trust! And doing so, you betrayed ithaquack! Betrayed Olympus!"

Glowing golden chains sprouted out the ground and held Storkules tightly. Storkules tried to break free, but no success.

Zeus turned his head away from Storkules towards a hill close by. Standing above, Apollo and the other deities. Storkules smiled at first. But his smile frowned. The other Olympians looked hostile. Zeus grinned, still biting back the rage.

"Don't you remember dear Storkules? They're my family," Zeus said plainly, "And my allies." his eyes narrowed.

"Open his jaw, but keep him intact!"

Two gods, Apollo and Ares approached the chained deity in a flash. Ares held Storkules' head still and Apollo forcefully, opened his jaw.

Zeus summoned a pinkish potion to his hand. Zeus approached and he bitterly snickered.

"I'm going to teach you a lesson, boy. The last lesson you will ever learn."

With that, The king of Olympians, forcefully made Storkules drink the potion, but before Storkules drinks the last drop, a voice was heard.

"Zeus! What're you doing?!" Hera appeared running towards her husband, with Selene and Persephone behind her trail. Ares and Apollo quickly released Storkules' head. Storkules coughed, "Mother...", he spoke in a weakened voice.

Hera, Selene, and Persephone were suddenly blocked by the other deities from interfering. However, Hera was still able to get a word to him.

"What do you think you are doing?! He's our son and you are hurting him! That is not how a father treats his child! Let him go!"

Zeus, ignored Hera and before he could do anything else to Storkules, he said "If you ever want to join us in Olympus once more, perform a rite of passages on Earth to prove yourself worthy of living with us on Mount Olympus again and only then you're godhood will be restored". With that said, Zeus shot a dash of lightning of transportation at his son and he banished Storkules to live his life as a mere mortal.

Storkules lands on earth. He weakly opens his eyes, surrounded by darkness in a deciduous forest. Suddenly, he's being carried by an unidentified being.

"Hush, you need your strength", the mysterious figure spoke. Storkules moans and collapses again.

The next morning, Storkules woke up, groggily.

"Ugh, what happened? Where am I?" He asked as he rubbed his head. Once his vision cleared up, he saw he was in a cave. It had potions, oddly shaped crystals, and jars of different herbs.

"Ah, you're awake," said a cheerful voice.

"Hmm?" With effort, he turned his head. A short, brunette duck came from a corner with a bubbling cauldron. She gleefully came to him with a bowl of hot, soup-like liquid in her hands.

"It's okay, good sir, just relax. You're safe."

"Safe?" The word had a blurry quality thanks to his excessively dry mouth. Storkules coughed. His whole body hurt with every movement.

"Drink this", the woman soothed, "It'll heal you right away".

Storkules drank gratefully and greedily until the stranger pulled the bowl away.

"Now, good sir, I'm going to need you to answer me some questions, okay? Do you think you're up to that?"

Storkules nodded.

"Nothing too taxing. First off, I need to know your name, sir."

"Storkules", he replied.

The woman gave a warm grin, "My name is Fármako", she pointed to herself, "and this cave here, is my home", she gestured.

"Well Fármako, this is a lovely home you have here and than you for you hospitality!" Storkules spoke politely to Fármako. He sighed, "however, I must find my way back home", he got up but before he could take a step, Fármako grabbed his wrist.

"Wait Storkules! Perhaps I can assist you on your way", Fármako obliged, "Perhaps tell me, how you did you wind up unconscious in the forest and where exactly did you came from?"

Storkules hesitated and spoke up.

"Well...Storkules last remembered he was being chained to the ground and restrained. I also remember drinking this potion and...", his eyes widened with realization. It all came back to him now. The requests Hades tasked him to do, the golden chains, the other deities, and Zeus punishing him. Fármako looked at him with genuine worry.

"Oh no..."

"Storkules?"

Storkules got himself together and cleared his throat.

"Sorry", he replied awkwardly.

"You said you were chained up to the ground and what else?"

Storkules sighed, "Got banished".

Fármako gave the former God a look of genuine sympathy.

"Oh...I'm so sorry. Is there anything else I can do?" She soothed.

"Well I was tasked to do rites of passages on earth to rejoin the gods of Olympus and restore my godhood once more", Storkules replied.

"Wait, I think I know a few useful things that will aid you", Fármako walked to a cupboard and held a map in her hands, "I know a guy named Gus and he can assist you on your quest of making amendments with Olympus", she handed Storkules the map.

"This map will show you where he lives and where your tasks will occur".

Storkules smiled, "Oh thank you Fármako! I will never forget your kindness!" He thanked as he hugged her tightly. Once he released her, he left to the exist until Fármako called out to him.

"Storkules, wait!" The former God halted and turned to her.

"Beware of those you trust because they can deceive you and will work with your nemesis. Don't worry, Gus is good and trustworthy!"

Storkules nodded and left the cave. Once he was out of sight, the woman transformed into a nocturnal goddess. That goddess was not other than Selene.

Selene let out a proud smile,"Good luck, Storkules!"

Zeus is a fucking ass, like always. Selene is best girl! Poor Storkules, but at least he got his godly powers! Stay tuned for the next chapter!
