Chapter 10
Olivia slowly removed her glasses and squeezed the bridge of her nose in an attempt to soothe her pounding headache. She felt yet another wave of nausea hit her, her body barely turning in time to get sick in the garbage can that sat beside her desk. She clung to the can as she sat back down in her chair and heaved forward. This was the second time today she had gotten sick, but she was more embarrassed this time. At home, it wasn't a big deal, yet here she was always being watched by her nosey detectives.
Olivia let out a weak sigh and stood. She made her way towards the bathroom. After brushing her teeth and washing her face, Olivia walked back to her office. Sitting on the edge of her desk was her most annoying blonde detective. She looked incredibly concerned, and Olivia was worried that she had heard the moment she got sick.
"Liv, are you okay?" Amanda asked, as she searched Olivia's face with concerned blue eyes.
"I will not lie to you, Amanda. I just got sick for the second time today, and I still feel so nauseated," Olivia admitted weakly. Amanda tilted her head to the side as she examined Olivia, as if she was searching for a clue to why Olivia was sick.
"Um, do you think you might be… pregnant?" Amanda asked, whispering the last word. Olivia laughed softly as she walked to her desk. She sank in her chair, as Amanda turned to look at her.
"Rollins, I'm too old to be pregnant. Noah probably gave me some stomach bug," Olivia sighed.
"Liv, you look… fuller, I guess? Are you sure that you aren't pregnant?" Amanda questioned again. Olivia sighed as she started to feel guilty. Olivia knew what happened and who it happened with, but Amanda didn't know.
"I was drugged, Amanda. I think we were too out of it to grab a condom and try to have him put it on."
"You didn't tell me that you were drugged, Olivia!" Amanda exclaimed.
"Yeah, well things are messy right now," Olivia breathed, leaving out the fact that she knew who hurt her and Dominick. Or that Dominick was the person who she slept with.
"Do you have any idea why someone would do this to you?" Amanda breathed.
"Maybe revenge, maybe jealously," Olivia breathed. She knew why Dani did what she did. Soon everyone else would too.
"Revenge? Why would anyone want to do that to you? Do you know who the guy is yet?" Amanda asked.
Olivia felt overwhelmed suddenly. She covered her face in her hands and let out a sob. So much had happened lately that she didn't know what to do. She didn't know if she should be honest with Amanda and let her know exactly what happened… but if she did that, she'd ruin her friendship. Amanda would know that Dominick was the other party in this matter.
Amanda walked around Olivia's desk and gave her shoulder a squeeze.
"Why don't we make an appointment to see your doctor? I will even come with you… It will be scary, and I don't want you to be alone," Amanda said with a gentle smile.
Olivia sniffled as she continued to think. What kind of friend doesn't tell her best friend the truth? No matter what happens today, Olivia would have to talk to Dominick again if Amanda was right. If she was pregnant at a point in her life she never expected to be pregnant.
"Liv, please make an appointment. I promise to come." Amanda grinned.
Olivia nodded slowly as guilt gnawed at her. After what she did to Amanda, this is the least Olivia could do for Amanda.

Olivia sat and filled out paperwork as Amanda sat beside her. There had been an opening, so Olivia got in around her lunch break.
Olivia sighed softly to herself as she filled out her date of birth. She didn't want to believe that this was true. That she could actually be pregnant. Her entire life, all she wanted to do was be a mother. Noah, her sweet little boy, made her a mother. She didn't plan on adopting another child, let alone carrying one. Now she may be pregnant, and she doesn't have a partner. Her relationship with Elliot had disintegrated, all thanks to Dani.
After Olivia finished her paperwork, she turned it in and than sat back beside Amanda. They sat for awhile, before a nurse opened the door and walked out. She read over her clipboard before speaking.
"Olivia Benson?" She questioned. Olivia took a shaky breath before standing, Amanda following suit.
"I'm Olivia," She whispered. The nurse smiled and stepped out of the way.
"Follow me back."
The nurse took Olivia's vitals before going to get her doctor. Olivia sat on the edge of the table as Amanda texted Dominick. Olivia glanced over and had caught a glance of the texts, but couldn't force herself to snoop more. The door opened after a knock, and Olivia looked at Dr. Moore. She was an older woman that had been Olivia's doctor for a while. Olivia felt the most comfortable around her after Lewis had attacked her.
"Olivia, it's so good to see you. How are you doing?" Dr. Moore asked with a soft smile.
"I think I'm pregnant," Olivia blurted out. Dr. Moore's eyes went wide, as Amanda reached out and gently rubbed Olivia's arm.
"Olivia, you are past your prime child-bearing years. So, I think this is probably menopause," Dr. Moore frowned. She hated to break this news to Olivia, but she had to be honest.
"I'm having symptoms, Dr. Moore. Vomiting, headaches, soreness… And my friend thinks I'm pregnant," Olivia frowned, as she turned to look at Amanda. Amanda smiled before telling Dr. Moore about the differences that she has noticed in her friend.
"Olivia has been acting differently. She cries a little more often than usual, and she has been getting sick and losing weight. I have only seen her get sick once, but she says it's been happening occasionally. Regarding the crying, that isn't like her. If she does cry, she locks herself in her office, instead she cries out in the open," Amanda spoke.
Olivia glared at her friend, before rolling her eyes. She turned back to face Dr. Moore.
"Okay, we will do a urine test. If it comes back positive, we can do a blood test and then maybe an ultrasound. Okay?"
"That sounds good… thanks," Olivia mumbled.
