Substitute Corbett Part 3
Things and people started going backward all around Timothy until the point was reached before Marie was to take Timothy to the Pepperton common room.
Suddenly, Doc heard a thud from behind her.
Timothy had fallen asleep sitting at his desk.
"What's happened here?" Corbett demanded to know.
Doc raised her hand, "Escuse me, Mister Corbett, but Timothy needs his potion." she said.
"Potion? What potion?" Corbett asked Doc.
Marie raised her hand.
"His liquid dawn potion, sir," Marie answered. "Timothy has been affected by two dream crystals in the past."
"Dream crystals?" Corbett asked.
"Powerful crystals that keep one in the World of Dreams, sir, children suffer some pretty nasty side effects from being trapped inside them more than once, teens and adults don't suffer any side effects." Marie answered Corbett.
"I see," Corbett said. "I guess I'd better do more research."
Timothy just yawned and sighed.
"In the meantime," Marie said. "I will take Timothy to the Pepperton common room to rest up."
"You do that." Corbett said.
Instead of taking Timothy to the Pepperton common room herself, Marie decided to try to wake Timothy.
"Timothy," Marie exclaimed. "my mom made our favorite smoothie, blueberry banana blitz!"
Timothy's eyes shot open, "Blueberry banana blitz! Where is it? I'm so thirsty!"
Doc and Marie just had to laugh.
"There are no blueberry banana blitz smoothies, Timothy." Doc laughed.
"Darn it! I'm so thirsty!" Timothy exclaimed.
"Don't worry, Timothy," Marie said. "I'll always have your back."
Marie handed Timothy his potion.
"Thanks, Cuz." Timothy said.
Timothy downed the flask that Marie handed to him.
At lunch period that afternoon, Doc found Timothy sitting with Sam at a picnic table in the underground courtyard.
"Hi, Timothy." Doc greeted.
"Hi, Doc." Timothy greeted back.
Doc noticed Sam sitting next to Timothy, "Whoa! Who's this?" she asked.
"This is my friend, Samantha Amelia Cook from Kennicot house, everyone calls her Sam, Sam, this is Dottie McStuffins, everyone calls her Doc because she's a doctor for stuffed animals and toys." Timothy introduced.
"Nice to meet you, Sam." Doc said.
"Nice to meet you too, Doc," Sam said. "and Timothy's just being modest, I'm his girlfriend."
"Why don't you sit with us?" Timothy asked Doc.
"I would love to sit with you guys!" Doc replied.
Doc sat down with Timothy and Sam and got her lunchbox out.
