I teleport into our house in Musutafu, taking off my shoes, I call out, "Dad, I'm home."

"We're at the table. Dinners ready." I heard my dad, Shota Aizawa, call.

I walk to the table and sit down, getting food on my plate. "How was your day, Hizuki?" my father, Hizashi Yamada, asks.

"I should be asking you guys that. How was your day? Is your assignment over?"

"Our day was good and we're done with our assignment. Now, how was your day?" Dad asks.

"It was fine," I say. "I made a new friend."

"What's her name?"

"Actually, it's a guy, not a girl."

"You're friends with a guy!" my father shouts.

"Chill. I'm already friends with three guys in Musutafu. Remember? Izuku, Katsuki, and Shoto."

"I'm friendly with Izuku and Katsuki," Hitoshi adds.

"And you had Shoto and I become friends since we live in the same neighborhood.

"Well, I guess it's fine," Dad says.

"After dinner is it okay if I go back out to see my friend?"

"Sure. Be careful and don't come back home too late."

"Yes, Dad."

"What's his name?"

I think quickly and come up with a nickname for Shigaraki. "Shiggy. His name's Shiggy."

•••

I arrive at the base and head down to the bar.

"Hey, Shiggy! Kurogiri," I say as I enter the bar.

"What did you just call me?" Shigaraki asks as he turns around on the barstool.

"What? You don't like that nickname?"

"No."

"Aww!" I say with a pout.

"Why are you here?"

"What? So I can't be here."

"Why do you want to be here?"

"Just to hang out," I say as I sit on the barstool next to him. "By the way, just out of curiosity, how old are you?"

"Nineteen."

"I'm fifteen. This place seems boring to just sit around. What do you do for fun?"

"Plan. For instance, how to get rid of All Might."

"That's very specific. Also, certain heroes shouldn't be heroes. Also, one justice isn't good for the other."

"Agreed."

"One of my favorite quotes I've heard or read somewhere is what's the difference between a hero and a villain. It's who's telling the story."

"That's deep," Kurogiri says.

"Good point. How is one violence okay but one isn't?" Shigaraki asks.

"Kurogiri."

"Yes?"

"What time is it?"

Kurogiri looks down at his phone. "Nine thirty."

"I should get going. My family heading to Musutafu in the morning. Can I borrow your phone Shiggy?"

"Don't call me that."

"Fine. Your phone?" I ask my hand stretched out.

"Here," he says handing it to me. "What are you going to do?"

I open up his phone saying, "I'm going to put my number into your phone."

"Why?"

"You stupid or something? It's so we can keep in contact."

"Oh."

I laugh and say, "I might also make some surprise visits.

Hi, I type into the text and send it, and a notification comes up on my phone.

I finish setting up the contact, setting the contact name to Hizuki. I hand Shigaraki back his phone and create a contact to his message, setting the name to Shiggy.

"Good night," I say as I pocket my phone, wrapping the shadows around me as I get up and teleport back to our house.
