Wanda Maximoff struggles not to succumb to her despair. Yet despite that she remains resolutely desperate to find her children. However, it is with a strength of will that Wanda hasn't allowed the Darkhold to corrupt her.

She doesn't want another Westview in her hands.

She knows that there is another universe out there where her children are alive. She also knows that there is another Wanda out there who knows the secret of creating the children without dire consequence. So she tries to find a way to communicate with the other Wanda and hopefully gain some knowledge in how she is able to keep the children alive instead of watching them disappear before her eyes.

She stumbles upon Dreamwalking in the Darkhold and uses that to access the other Wanda's mind and knowledge.

When she finally does, making her children a reality once again becomes a cakewalk.

And when Stephen Strange comes knocking at her door and asks for her help regarding a multiverse-traveler, she is more than happy to accept it.

"So you want me to help this girl, America Chavez?" She asks him.

"Yes," is the sorcerer's only reply.

"I see. Does she have total control over her powers yet?"

"No, she is still trying to learn how to control them."

"Perhaps I can help her with that department. With a little bit of mind tweaking, I can help her gain confidence in her ability and as a result she will be able to control her powers," Wanda says.

"You can do that?" Stephen asks, frowning.

"Yes, I can. I've tried it with Tony Stark although I did it to play with his fears, where he made Ultron as a consequence. I am sure I can do the same with the girl, but this time I will be doing the exact opposite with her."

"That isn't so reassuring if you take Tony Stark's mistake as an example," the sorcerer points out.

"Well, that was when I was still on a revenge train, Stephen. You must understand that. I've changed ever since then."

"I apologize for doubting you Wanda, but after the Ultron Fiasco and the Westview debacle, it is hard for me to trust you with the girl's mind."

"What happened on Westview was something that I can't turn away from. I acted on my despair and as a result, I hurt a lot of people. And there is no amount of apologies that can erase the fact that I mind controlled an entire town. But you can trust me, Stephen. Just take a leap of faith and trust me about helping the girl. Now that I have my sons with me, I'm more than happy to lend my aid to anyone who needs it," Wanda says to him. "However, if you don't trust me on this, then that is your prerogative. I won't force you to do anything if that is your decision."

The doctor regards her for a long, very long moment before he lets out a sigh of resignation.

"Fine. I will trust you on this, Wanda and I really hope you won't disappoint me and the girl in the end," Stephen says to her.

"I won't Stephen. I promise," Wanda responds, smiling.

"How do you feel?" Wanda asks the girl after she uses her power on her.

"I feel awesome! I feel like I can conquer the world now!" The girl, America Chavez, exclaims in excitement. "Like I can open a portal without a problem!"

"Why don't you try it?" Wanda gently suggests to the girl, who suddenly leaps to her feet and raises her fist.

Then, America Chavez punches the air and they watch as a portal shape like a star appears in front of her.

"Yes! I did it!"

Wanda observes as the girl leaps in joy for achieving such a feat.

After moment, the portal closes and the girl then runs towards her to thank Wanda.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" The girl gushes as she holds Wanda's hand.

"No problem, kid." Wanda replies, patting the girl's hand.

Wanda then looks at Stephen Strange, who simply nods at her in silent gratitude for helping the girl.

In response, Wanda simply smiles right back at him and vows to herself to help others when they need her as well.

Afterall, Wanda Maximoff is still an Avenger through and through.

Afterwards, Wanda returns home to her children, who are more than happy to see her again.

"MOM!" The boys yell in unison the moment she opens the door to their home.

"Hello, boys" Wanda greets warmly as her children run straight into her arms.

Now, Wanda feels whole again.

She feels content and happy now that her children are within her reach.

With her children alive, Wanda no longer needs the Darkhold. Thus, she is going to destroy the blasphemous book alongside the other Darkholds in the multiverse so no one will know its dark secrets, except her and Stephen Strange.

AN: I didn't like how the movie turn out. I didn't like how Marvel Studios handled Wanda's character. It was truly a character assassination. And I didn't like it even more when Wanda died. I was kinda hoping that she will be in the next movies in the future because I really love her character. She is so badass. But nope. Marvel Studios ruin her character. And I hate it. So I'm writing this fic to comfort myself after watching the movie during Mother's Day.
