A/N: Thanks so much for all your wonderful thoughts!
Aww, I'm so glad you guys are enjoying this. And I'm also so touched by those of you who wish I were wordy right now, lol. Believe me, I wish I was being wordy right now too. But this is pretty fun as well. Hopefully, Muse will agree. ;)
100 words more! This will probably be it for tonight. :)

Chapter 3 - Awkward
I've misunderstood the definition of 'Awkward.'
It's guilt, regret, bewilderment and…and instant, deep longing. All comingled.
We exchange Awkward greetings, marked by eye avoidance, trailed-off sentences, and mumbling. And hair-raking by him.
Now that takes me back, painfully back to a weekend long ago when I gripped that hair hard.
"Edward, I…I didn't know you were coming."
"My sister had last-minute issues with her dress fitting. And I hit traffic. Sorry I'm late, Bella."
I reply with too-vehement head shaking. "It's fine."
He nods, jaw squared, still avoiding my eyes.
And still mumbling. "Come on. I'll take your luggage."
"Uhm…thanks."
