Chapter Seven
July 26th
"Where are all your beautiful pieces baby?"
"I don't wear them anymore. I like to be comfortable blondie." Kurt replied as he threw a he started to place his arms through a navy button up.
"You could wear a bag and you'll look hot." Jeff said with a wink as he started to sit down to watch him which made his best friend laugh. "You just look so different without the scarves and cute little accessories. Your body has changed so much."
"Thank's blondie. To be honest I don't think most of it would fit me anymore anyway which is shame, I spent so much fucking money on them collections."
"It is a shame but that doesn't mean we can't go shopping today! You just look so.. bland." Jeff said slowly cringing at his choice of words but he was thankful when he heard that beautiful laugh.
"Yeah I'm pretty vanilla now. I don't mind though. I guess I've just matured a lot." Kurt said as he tucked the button up onto his jeans. "You look great by the way. I've always loved you in green."
"Stop it."
Kurt grinned and leaned forward, tapping his cheek for the blonde to kiss which he did quickly. "I've missed you so much you know?"
"I know I've missed you too." Jeff replied back with sadness in his voice. "So much baby."
Kurt kissed his cheek before fastening his belt around his waist as his best friend started to tie his shoe laces. He thought about the conversation he had with him in the bath the previous night and he didn't know how he ever kept this man out of his life.
"So Nicky had packed the bre-
"Why are you looking at me like that? Fuck is there still sauce on my face?" Jeff said in horror as he rushed into the bathroom to check himself.
"No, you're just so.. beautiful."
Jeff let out a nervous laugh from the bathroom and turned his head towards his human best friend as he started to walk over to him.
"How did I go a full year without you?" Kurt whispered with a smile as he reached his hand up to give him contact. "I'm so sorry for leaving you."
"Just promise me you won't leave again. I don't think I could handle being without for for another moment."
"I promise."
"He looks so good."
"Stop torturing yourself." Wes said to Blaine as they watched them both walk over hand in hand.
"So fucking good."
"Blaine." Wes warned with a laugh as he walked his eyes trailed down his body. "You're only hurting yourself Anderson."
"I wanna rip his fucking clothes off his body."
"You're not helping the situation."
"Look at his arms Wesley in that shirt. I can practically see his muscles." Blaine mumbled as his eyes swept across his defined arms and right down to his waist.
"Stop it."
"Have you ever seen him look so good? Honestly? It's not even about his body but he just looks so confident and that's the most attractive thing about his new loo-
"Hey guys! You ready?" jeff said with a slight smirk hearing their words and they both nodded dumbly as they made there way to meet the others.
It was an extremely hot day and Kurt was practically crying knowing he hadn't put any sun cream on. Him and Jeff was sitting by the pond together while the others sat further away soaking up the sun.
"Maybe we should go and get you sun cream baby. I don't want you to burn."
"You're so sweet." Kurt said as he leaned his head onto his shoulder as his free hand joined with his best friends. "But I really don't want to move. I'm okay for now I promi-
"Fuck can I use your phone?" Kurt said in panic and his best friend nodded as he passed him it over.
"Is everything okay?"
"I didn't call Finn. Oh my god he's going to flip."
Jeff let out a laugh as he watched him quickly ring his brothers number and they both started to lay down to be more comfortable. Two rings and he was already answering and it wasn't good.
"Hey Fi-
"You fucking dick. I've been calling you for hours! Why haven't you answered? Do you know h-
"Calm down Frankinteen I'm fine. My phones broke so I'm calling off blondies."
"You need to get a new phone dude, I was so close to coming to Dalton today."
"You would come all that way to check on me? You're so fucking cu-
"Don't start I'm pissed dude."
"Sorry. I'll get a new one today. Everything good?"
"The usual man. Thanks for doing the shopping, I'm in heaven."
Kurt laughed as he turned his head to Jeff who was smiling widely at them. "It's alright. How's auntie?"
"Not to good bro. They erm."
"They said something about chemotherapy? Is that what it's called?"
"Yeah Finn that's what it's called."
"So they want to start her on that from tomorrow. She's flipping dude, she said she doesn't want to loose her hair."
"I'm so sorry. Can I do anything to help? Do you need me to come home?"
"No it's okay dude I've got it. She was asking about you."
"Tell her I love her very much and if she needs to call me she is more than welcome too."
"Thanks Kurt. She'll love that. How's Dalton?"
"Good. We are feeding the ducks."
"Is Sally still there?"
"Yeah she's still here." Kurt said with a laugh as he glanced over to the large grey duck that was swimming around the pond. "Jeffery tried to catch her but she's a slippery mother fucker."
"Tell blondi-
"Actually pass the phone over."
Kurt held the phone out to him and Jeff took it with a smile and lifted it to his ear.
"Is he doing okay blondie?"
"Oh yeah she's fine. I tried to catch her but I think she's just scared. It's been a while since I've held her."
"Is he taking his medication?"
"Oh yeah she fought a little but it's all good. I'm sorry about your aunt I know how hard that must be for you. Please send her my love."
"I'm glad. He can be challenging. Thanks blondie, I will I promise. Make sure he gets a phone today okay?"
"I will sweetie I'll take him straight away after the park. How's daddy and mommy bear? I miss them."
"They miss you too dude! Thanks so much for looking after him."
"Always."
"Goodbye blondie."
"Goodbye you." Jeff said with a grin as he ended the call and pocketed his phone. "He's so sweet now it's confusing."
Kurt let out a laugh with a nod. "He's so different. I would be lost with him."
"I'm so glad you're back. This year is gonna be awesome." Jeff said with a sad smile as he moved his face closer as they laid together.
"Right? It's sucks I'm not in your classes anymore. I need to sort my shit out and study hard. There is no way I'm sitting in that class for my last year." Kurt said pulling a face of disgust which made his best friend laugh. "I wish things was just the same as before I left you know?"
"Which part?"
Kurt laughed and turned his head towards the sky, squinting slighty at the burning sun. "I just wish things was different. My life was so easy a year ago. I definitely took it for granted."
"I'm dreading Sunday night."
"Why?"
"He's back isn't he? Everything will change when he's back. What's he going to say about you and Blaine speaking?"
"He's not going to like it." Kurt said truthfully and Jeff nodded as he bit his lip. "He'll hate it in fact."
"What are you going to do?"
"Keep my distance. I think it's the best. He'll think something is going on between me and him and I've already fucked up once, I can't go through that again."
"You're not going to sit with us are you?"
"No, I'm sorry blondie." Kurt whispered as he turned his head back around. "I don't think that'll help the situation you know? I don't want any tension, it's already thick and I don't want to add to that."
"Do you still care about Blaine?"
"I know they're listening in. Nosy bastards."
Jeff laughed as he started to sit up so he could look at him properly and noticed he was already burning and he couldn't help but reach out to run a finger over his nose.
"Do you?"
"Of course I do. I spent three years of my life with him. He's right about that. I care just enough to know this is going to be extremely difficult for him so I'm not just doing to keep the peace. I'm just not satisfied with him anymore."
"You don't mean that baby."
"I do." Kurt said with a shrug and his best friend glanced to Blaine who was more than upset by his choice of words.
"Can I ask you something?"
"Course." Kurt said with a smile as opened his eyes.
"If he started to date. Would that bother you?"
"I want him to be happy. Why is he proposing to Montgomery?"
Jeff burst into laughter as he glanced to the others who was laughing too at his comment. "What if he was?"
"Him and Montgomery?"
"Yeah baby."
"He can do whatever he wants he's his own person. If he wants to sex it up with him then by all means knock yourself out." Kurt laughed out as he started to sit up too. "Look blondie, I want him to find somebody. I'm not that heartless. Just not Montgomery."
"Why not?"
"Because."
"Because what?" Jeff quizzed as he started to smirk at the slight jealously in his tone.
"He's an asshole. There's a reason why he's single."
"Who's the fucking asshole! Who wants to be tied down to someone like you!"
"Here we fucking go." Kurt turned his head around to the others who was walking over. "You're single because no one fucking wants you and your stuck up, pretentious personality."
"Oh shit." David said in shock as he watched his best friends flash red.
"I'm single because of people like you." Wes said as he started to sit down in front of Kurt and they all groaned following him. "How could I possibly want to be with anyone after the shit you pulled last year? That scarred me for life Hummel."
"You need to get laid. Doesn't he need to get laid?" Kurt said with a laugh glancing to the others who had their heads down trying not to break. "I think you need to get laid Montgomery. You have money coming out your ears, I'm sure you could find a nice woman on the corn-
"Don't even finish that sentence until you want your head to remain on your shoulders."
"Don't threaten me with a good time."
Wes cracked a smile as he looked into his bonding partners eyes. "Because that would be an awfully easy way out of this wouldn't it?"
"It sure would. I wouldn't have to deal with the shit that comes out of your mouth for one." Kurt replied back with a straight face. "That alone makes me want to go and drown myself in that pond."
"Do you think you're funny?"
"I think I'm extremely funny Wesley. Are you done? You're blocking all the positive energy with your negativity."
"And to think I thought you had a heart for a second. I guess you're just as cold and dead as the day we met you. It's a good job Smythe is exactly the same isn't it? You both must get on like a house of fire." Wes said with a smirk as he watched his face turn in anger at the words.
"That's enough." Blaine warned after trying his hardest to keep his mouth shut for the whole conversation. "I don't want to hear his fucking name and I certainly don't want you speaking to Montgomery like that. Can't you both just get along for one day? One day without you both tearing each other to shreds?"
"He started it." Wes said shrugging his shoulders. "But sorry Anderson, I'll keep his name out my mouth."
"He's back Sunday. It's not like we can avoid it much longer." Nick commented as he wrapped his arms around his boyfriend from behind. "We might as well get the conversation over and done with right?"
"There's no conversation to be had." Kurt said as he started to lay down again. "I'll do my part if you do yours."
"And what's that?"
"Don't kill my fucking boyfriend. It's as much as my fault as it is his so if you're going to cause murder then you might as well with me too." Kurt said as truthfully and they knew he was right.
"And your part?" Blaine asked as he tried to figure him out.
"I just want to get this year done with Anderson. I'll keep my distance and tell him not to make it any worse. I kno-
"I know it's hard for you I totally get that but I can't have you both at it permanently."
"He fucked you Kurt behind my back so I'm pretty sure that's out the window."
Kurt sighed as he glanced back up toward the sky, as he started to move his ways over the clouds figuring their shapes out. He didn't know what to say to that because it was the truth too.
"Kurt."
"I don't know what you want me to say. I'm just sick of hear of hearing the same shit like broken record. You don't have to remind me all of the time, it's not like I'm going to forget it anytime soon."
"You know what hurts the most? Is that it was him Kurt. You knew how much I hated him and yet you did it with the one person who would be smug enough to through it in my face. I'm not going to promise you anything because I don't know how I'm going to react when I see him all over you in front me." Blaine replied back seriously as he tried to see any reaction in his face. "I can't promise you I won't hurt him and I'm not sorry for that."
"Okay." Kurt said slowly as he turned his head. "I'm sorry, i shouldn't of said that but I'm just stressing over it. I'm just stuck in the middle between everything and I feel like can't breathe. I've got to hear it from you guys and him too and I just feel like me coming back so soon was a bad idea. If I could change the boards mind and make them let me have more time I would take it but I can't Blaine."
"Is that what you want? To leave Dalton?" David asked trying to make the situation easier for them both.
"I don't think I deserve Dalton and I don't think you're all ready for me to be back here so soon. If I could leave I would to stop all the animosity."
"Are you going to rub it in my face?" Blaine asked as his eyes started to water.
"No of course not and if I do it's not intentional I promise. I know he's going too and I'm going to apologise in advise for that but I can't stop him just like I can't stop all of you."
"I guess that's fair." Blaine said emotionless as he started to stand up from the grass. "I'm just going to make a phone call. I won't be long."
"Okay honey." Nick watched him leave and pull out his phone to call his father.
Blaine was breaking at the thought of them being together and they knew it wouldn't take long for him to break at the sight of them. They could hear his conversation with his dad on both ends as he quietly cried in his car and it broke their hearts.
"Is he crying?"
"No porcelain he's good."
Kurt sat up and moved his head around but without his glasses he was struggling to see him for a far. He tried to for another five minutes and he started to stand and before they could stop him he was walking over to the car.
"Just leave him sweetie. He didn't have to go over but he chose too." Jeff said as he sat down on his boyfriend's knee to stop him from moving. "Let's just let this play out on its own. Okay?"
"I hate seeing him cry it breaks my heart."
"I know, me too." Jeff kissed his lips gently before they all listened in on the both of them.
Kurt knocked on the window as he watched him ex wipe his tears away and he listened to him tell his dad it was him and he cringed.
"It's for you."
"Hell fucking no. I was just seeing if you was okay." Kurt said slapping the phone away but Blaine insisted and told him if he didn't he would come to Dalton.
Kurt sighed dramatically before taking the phone and placing it to his ear as Blaine got out the car. "Mr Anderson, how're you?"
"For someone easily broken, you're very bold Mr Hummel to assume I'm going to have a nice conversation with you."
"I don't mean to be rude Mr Anderson but whatever you've got to say can you just say it?"
"If you hurt my son again, if you ever as make him so much as cry like I've just heard him then I will kill you and it won't be nice and quick. Do you understand?"
"Crystal. Is that everything?"
"Do you not fear death?"
"No." Kurt said truthfully as he leaned against the car. "Do you fear death Mr Anderson?"
"No. I have to nothing to fea-
"If you threaten me again, I'll shove a stake in your chest and watch your son cry over you instead of me. Do you understand that Mr Anderson?"
"Is that a threat?"
"It's a promise." Kurt said as he licked his lips in anger as he stared into his boyfriends eyes through the whole conversation.
"I'll look forwarding in seeing you Monday morning Mr Hummel."
Kurt ended the call and passed it back over unfazed by Blaine's fathers words. "I don't do threats Anderson. Don't look so shocked."
"That was stupid."
"No you crying is stupid."
"That's insensitive asshole." Blaine said bluntly as he slammed the car shut and he started moving to the others until a hand was touching his bare arm. "Please don't do that it's already hard enough."
"I'm not worth your tears Anderson honestly." Kurt said with a sigh as he pressed himself slighty against the man to stop him from moving. "Just tell me what you need so I can help."
"I don't need your he-
"You helped me so let me help you. What do you need?" Kurt asked again and Blaine finally answered him.
"I never got to say goodbye to you."
Kurt hand reached up to his hair, gently pulling him towards his chest while his other hand wrapped around his shoulders. Blaine quickly returned it and his arms was around his waist in a matter of seconds. They both tensed, feeling that they was over stepping but it vanished quickly when kurt held him tighter.
"Goodbye." Kurt whispered into his ear and Blaine let out a soft laugh as he tried to hold back the tears again.
"Goodbye." Blaine repeated as their faces turned slighty to face eachother.
The other held their breath at how close their faces was touching and they waited for the connection. They watched Kurt tilt his head slighty as his bruised nose brushed up against his softly and watched as Blaine tilted his head too as this thumb swept over his lip.
"If I do this, it's just going to confirm that I am what think you think I am." Kurt whispered as he stared to play with his curls at the back of his neck. "And it's only going to hurt you all over aga-
Blaine closed the gap, cutting the words off from his mouth and they both froze for a second before he pulled away. "I'm sorry I just couldn't help myse-
Kurt pressed his lips against his again with more pressure and the soft moan at the back of his throat was enough for Blaine to reciprocate as their mouths opened slowly, allowing access for the both of them.
"And that's why we let things play out on their own." Jeff said with a huge grin to his boyfriend who had his eyes pinned on the pair of them. "He wants to kiss our curly haired vampire just as much as he does."
"This isn't good." Nick whispered back as he watched Kurt deepen it more as he pushed his weight against him. "It's only going to end bad. I can't watch him be hurt again."
"Does he look like he's hurting? This is what they both need. Blaine's is right. They didn't get their goodbye." Wes said towards Nick and he couldn't help but smile. "Anderson is far from stupid, he knows what he's doing Nick just let him have this one moment he's always wished to have back."
"Okay." Nick said with a sigh and jeff kisses his neck making his relax. "I won't say a word."
"David?"
"Yeah man?"
"You've been quite." Wes commented as he tapped his arm to get his attention. "What's the matter?"
"Nothing man I'm just enjoying the view." David said with a laugh gesturing to the both of them. "I never thought I would see them together again so I'm just enjoying this moment they are sharing. No matter what's happened they do sure have a connection."
"They do don't they Davey? It never went away." Jeff said with a sweet smile as his eyes turned back towards his best friend. "That's why I know on my heart he still feels for Blaine. I don't think that went away either."
They broke apart as air became short but their foreheads was still touching and their fingers was still wrapped In each others hair.
"Thank you."
Kurt nodded as he glanced to his lips again and he couldn't help himself. He shot forward, applying more pressure and he whimpered as Blaine swapped them around so he was against the car. He tried to refrain a moan but he couldn't help that either and it escaped as his mouth loudly as he tugged at his belt.
"More."
Blaine nodded as his own moan came from his mouth as he felt his belt unfasten as they continued to kiss and something clicked inside of him.
"Do you want more?"
"More." Kurt said breathlessly as he tried to undo his belt again but Blaine was pushing him back as he started to fasten his belt back up. "Why did you stop?"
Blaine ignored him as he put the belt back into the last loop as he started to fasten it again. He watched the confusion run through his face and he smirked in triumph.
"Why did you stop?"
Blaine started to tuck his shirt back into his jeans as he never left his gaze and he could hear his erratic heartbeat and his gaspy breaths as he ran his fingers through his blue hair to calm down.
"Why did you stop Blaine?"
"You seemed pretty satisfied to me Kurt."
Kurt frowned more and he went to open his mouth again but he shut it quickly as he watched his ex boyfriend's smirk at bigger.
"Goodbye Kurt." Blaine said with a laugh as he started to walk away leaving him confused and dumbfounded standing against the car.
"I told you, he's not stupid." Wes said with a laugh as he watched Blaine start to sit back down with them all on the grass. "He's far from it."
"He wants it and that's enough for me." Blaine replied back with a smirk as he turned his head towards Kurt who was still standing confused at the car. "Which only means one thing."
"It definitely has something to do with Sebastian."
"Yes blondie, it sure does."
Kurt started to tuck his shirt back into his jeans as his frown got harsher and his eyes started to water. He felt sickened that he would be so stupid to risk the plan after a year of grief and hurt. Blaine had denied him for the first time ever and it killed every last bit of confidence he had left in his body.
He started to walk back over trying to fight back the tears but stopped when he got shouted from a far. He tried to find the voice for a few seconds before his eyes landed on the man.
"Chandler?"
"Did you forgot about me?"
Kurt rolled his eyes as he was brought into a hug and the others started to frown at the man who they had never seen before today. The hug was more than just a greeting, they was close.
"I smashed my phone. Why did you miss me baby?"
"Only slighty fruitcake." Chandler said with a grin as he pulled back to see his face. "Where's Bas?"
"Paris. He flys back Sunday. How have you been?"
"Alright Kurt. I'm just going to meet my mom. Who are you with?"
Kurt pointed over to the group of Dalton men and they all seen the shock in his eyes for a second before he turned back. Their was silence for a few seconds and they started to wonder how much this guy knew about them.
"Sebastian is going to be pissed you hanging around with the ex. Especially when you're swapping spit with him."
"You didn't see that Chandler." Kurt said seriously as he brought his face back towards him. "Did you?"
"Did I see what?" Chandler said with a smirk as he kissed his cheek. "I don't know what you're talking about Kurt."
"Thank you." Kurt said in relief as he listened to his friend laugh hysterically. "Thank you so much."
"Don't worry about it. Just be carful okay? The last thing you want is he finding out." Chandler said as he moved his fingers over his hair. "I've gotta go. My mom is already flipping because I'm late. Call me when you get your new phone?"
"Of course. I'll see you Wednesday?"
"Definitely. Bye fruitcake." Chandler said as he kissed his lips quickly and hugged him one last time before making his way through the park to find his mom.
"Who's that?"
Kurt turned to his best friend who was extremely jealous and he couldn't help but grin.
"Stop grinning. Who was that?"
"My best friend."
"Oh you fucking asshole. Don't even talk to me I hate you."
Kurt laughed louder as he sat behind him, wrapping his arms around the blonde who was sulking to himself in jealously.
"You know you're my favourite."
"It doesn't look like it." Jeff said in a angry tone and he laughed again as he placed his chin in his shoulder. "I see you kiss him too. That's nice Kurt."
"Oh don't be like blondie you know I love you. You're my favourite person in the whole world."
"Whatever."
"Let me buy you ice cream." Kurt whispered and they all seen Jeff try not to smile at his words. "With all the cute sprinkles?"
"No."
"Why not? You love all the cute sprinkles!"
"No."
"Turn your head."
Jeff sighed dramatically but turned his head and as soon as he did Kurt pressed his lips to the corner of his mouth gently for a few seconds before pulling away.
"How about now?"
"Fuck." Jeff said with a grin as his eyes remained closed and Kurt nuzzled his nose into his before pulling him off the floor.
"Does anyone want ice cream?"
They all nodded with a smile as they watched the delight on the blondes fact when he climbed onto his best friends back.
"Come on I'll carry you, it'll save your pretty little legs."
"You're not forgiven yet."
"I'll make it up to you I promise."
They was all walking back to the car ice cream in hand because the sun was beginning to burn the pale man's skin. Blaine and Kurt hadn't talked at all since the kiss but they found out Chandler was a friend of Kurt's who moved in a few doors down from his home.
"Don't open that." Kurt said slapping his best friends hand away and opening the car door for him with a smile. "I've got it blondie."
"Stop it." Jeff said as a giggle escaped his throat. "Stop being so cute I already forgive you straight away you know that right?"
"I know you did. Get your cute little ass in the car."
Jeff giggled and kissed his cheek again before climbing into the car and Kurt even closed the door for him, making him nearly in tears. He tapped the window and Jeff looked back up through his wet eyes.
Kurt lifted his finger and placed It just below his eye, he then placed a hand to his heart and he finished off pointing back to his best friend who let out a sob at his cute way of telling him he loved him. Jeff did it back before he watched him walk over to Wesley's car to get in.
"Can I sit in the front?"
"No, get in the back."
"But there's no one in the fucking car. Can I please sit in the front? I'm going to look like a prisoner back there." Kurt said gesturing to the back car and Wes shook his head again.
"I'll walk."
Kurt slammed the door making his groan and hit his head repeatedly making everyone of them burst into laughter. He mumbled to himself before stepping out the car and jogging over to him.
"Don't be a bitch." Wes said in annoyance as he grabbed his wrist and started to pull him back to the car with him. "Get in the car and keep your mouth shut."
Kurt let out an excellent squeal and dived into the his very expensive car and Wes was cringing as his hands moved around the car touching everything.
"Please don't to-
"Can I drive?"
"No way you're driving my car."
"Please? Oh god pretty please? Pretty please with a cherry on top? Ple-
"I said no stop acting like a child." Wes warned as he started the car. "Put your seatbelt on. I'm still reeling from you snapping my first edition. Don't push your luck bitch."
Kurt sighed as he put his seatbelt on but he was still pouting at him as they pulled out of the park. He glanced over to the other car and knew exactly why David chose to ride with the others, he wanted them to have time together even if it was strained.
"Why can't I drive it? You can supervise! I promise I'll drive safely and under the speed limit. Please Wesley?"
"Stop distracting me." Wes said pushing his face away with one of his hands and Kurt started to pretend to cry hysterically and he slammed on the car, making the man shoot forward.
"What the fuck was that for! You nearly decapitated my head!"
Wes burst into laughter as he watched him rub his neck but he started to feel bad as he was marked slighty from the seatbelt. He lifted his hand and placed it on his thigh while his free hand was on the wheel.
"Why is your hand on my body? And can you remove it please? You're giving me weird vibes."
"Okay." Wes said with a smirk as he lifted his hand but Kurt quickly placed it back down on his thigh. "Thought you wanted me to remove it?"
"It feels nice." Kurt whispered as he glanced down to his hand that was placed on his body and he started to move it further up so it was on his upper thigh. "Is that okay?"
Wes nodded as he tried to concentrate on the road but he was struggling due to where his hand was placed. He could hear his breathing become heavier and felt his fingers run across the back of his hand and he swallowed the lump that was forming in his throat.
"You feel so good. Why do you feel so good?"
His voice was breathless like he had been running, his touch was electric as the bond started to run through their bodies and for the first time ever he wanted this man to take his clothes off his body. He always knew the bond was sexual, he was surprised Blaine didn't remember that he had already told him. He didn't know why he lied, for a moment he had forgot that they already knew.
He sighed. He hated lying, he hated being untruthful. He was going to have to speak to Blaine about it later on today.
"Why are you sighing? Is everything okay in that big brain of yours?"
"I lied to Blaine about something and it's playing on my mind."
"Do you want to talk about it?"
"No, it's just confusing. I'll talk to him tonight but thank you though." Wes said with a smile as he squeezed his thigh and Kurt bit his lip hard, so hard he drawn blood.
The scent hit the vampires nose instantly and he turned his head around and watched it drip slighty down his mouth. His hand moved quickly, swiping the blood from his lip and wiping it away with a tissue.
"Why didn't you just?"
"Because I haven't had human blood for a very long time and I don't believe in feeding from a human without any intimacy. It just doesn't feel right."
"Oh."
"But it's so good." Kurt said as it placed his hand on his thigh instead so he could drive with two hands. "Blaine used to have me i-
"He used t-
"It's good."
"You're stumbling over your words Hummel, be carful. For a second I thought you still had feelings." Wes said with a grin and Kurt let out a laugh as he glanced to his hand.
"When he first told me about intimidate feeding my body kinda went into shock. How could something be pleasurable when the act itself can kill somebody. It baffled me."
"What made you try it?"
"The feeding?" Kurt asked and he nodded as he genuinely was interested on a humans side. "Because we did everything together you know? It was only fair that I tried it with him."
"And the experience?"
"When he bit into my neck it was extremely painful even as gentle as he was but a few seconds later it became one of the best things I've ever felt in my whole entire life. I felt so much more closer to him, I fel-
"I felt at home Wes." Kurt said as he glanced out the window refusing to look at him. "I could never feed on him in return but I hoped one day I could return the favour."
"You wanted to transition didn't you?"
"I did at one point. The whole process did scare me but I knew Blaine would do it humanly and gently as possible. I never wanted it any time soon but I knew one day it would come to it if he would of waited for me."
"He would of waited a life time for you Kurt. I don't think you understand how much he loved you. Vampire feelings are so much more intense." Wes said with a smile at the sweet comment he had made. "Once you experience it you'll never understand truly."
"Did I make a mistake kissing him Wesley?"
"Did it feel like a mistake Kurtis?"
"That's not fair." Kurt whispered as his grip got tighter on the vampires thigh. "You know I can't answer that."
"Why not? You've already kissed him and by the looks of it you enjoyed it. I'm just stating the obvious." Wes replied back as they came to a red light. "The point is that even if you're with Smythe, you felt something in that moment you shared with him and I don't think you can deny that."
"Still now after a year, I'm still hurting someone wether it's Blaine or Sebastian. It's like I'm glued to the both of them and they're pulling me back and forth and I don't know how it's going to work out Sunday." Kurt voiced wavered as he started to get upset so he pulled the car over so he could talk to him properly. "Why did you stop the car?"
"You said you didn't love Blaine anymore and I can understand that. It's been a year and you've found someone else but I can't understand how you've lost all your feelings complete-
"I never said that." Kurt said as he took his seat belt off his body. "You're twisting my words."
"Then please enlighten me because I'm more than fucking confused. You've sent us all on a crazy ride for two days and we don't know what's going on in that mind of yours."
"I love what he gave me." Kurt said as he tried to find the right words.
"You love what he gave you?" Wes said frowning at his chose of words. "Was you with his just for his mo-
"No that's not what I meant. It's not what I meant Wes."
"Talk to me Kurt." Wes said taking his own seatbelt off and turning his body around. "No one is here, the others are probably at the store by now. It's just you and me and my very expensive car."
Kurt let out a laugh as he glanced back to his hand on the vampires thigh. "He gave me a beautiful life, he gave me unconditional love and affection. He gave me my confidence and my ability to open up. He made me forget all the bad thoughts because he was replacing them with good ones. He gave me my life back Wesley and I don't think I could of survived with him. I love him, I'm just not in love with him and kissing him wasn't a mistake it was more a slip up. I'm falling back into old habits with him and I'm worried it'll happen when Sebastian is back at Dalton."
"See? It wasn't that hard was it?" Wes said softly as his hand stroked his wrist gently. "The best thing you can do it's just be truthful with us. It's the conflicting feelings and the uncertainly that bothers us."
"I'm sorry. I wish things was different." Kurt whispered as he finally made eye contact with him. "I just need to do this Wesley, I need to keep my distance."
"Just promise you won't distance yourself from Jeffery. We can handle it knowing you've got to do it for a reason but he won't be able to hand it. We can't have him spiral again."
"I won't I promise. I'm not loosing him again." Kurt said as he started to smile wide at the thought of him. "I'm going to be better friend to him."
"You already are Kurt."
"No i'm not. I'm a horrible fucking friend. I don't deserve him or his love. I have a lot of making up to do." Kurt grabbed his hand and slowly brought it to his lips which made Wes feel like he was being knocked sideways.
"Thank you." Kurt said sweetly as he kissed the back of his hand that was joined his his gently. "I appreciate you very much."
"You do?"
"You know all the time I was at Dalton, I wished for us to be close. There's something about you that I can't shake." Kurt said with a laugh as he placed his hand back onto his thigh. "I did miss you Wes, I missed you just as much as I missed the other four and I'm sorry I hurt you too."
"I'm sorry too. I'm sorry I made your life a misery." Wes lifted his hand up too and kissed it making the other man blush profusely.
"It was worth it." Kurt said with a grin as he tapped the steering wheel gently. "Come on, let's go the store and get my phone and then I can give you your present for being a good boy."
"I'm always a good boy. I don't know what you're talking ab-
"Wait you got me a present?"
"Thank you."
Wes glanced up from his book with a grin as he watched the curly haired vampire sit down. "I'm not just a pretty face Anderson."
"You lied to him."
"It was one white lie. How was I meant to know you was sitting around the corner waiting for us?"
Blaine let out a small laugh of disbelief as he leaned over and kissed his cheek making them laugh harder. "Thank you, that was everything that I needed clearing up. I wonder what he got you?"
"Bitch I'm so excited."
The others walked in laughing at his excitement knowing his loved surprises. He closed his book and placed it on the table as he got a text from Kurt to say he was on his way.
"I fucking love surprises. It better be something good or I'm throwing it at his head."
"Be nice now man, he's finally opening up to you." David warned with a smirk and his best friend nodded as he heard his footsteps.
"Close your eyes asshole."
They all heard his voice and gestured for him to close his eyes and he did as the others watched him walk in himself with something in his hands and as soon as they seen it their eyes went wide.
"Oh this is good." David whispered as a laugh escaped his throat. "Oh man you're gonna freak the fuck out."
"Oh stop it David. Please let me fucking open them."
Kurt laughed harder with everyone and he he gently placed it into his hands. "You can open them now Wesley."
Wes open them and glanced down and a shocked laugh escaped his throat. "How the fuck did you get your hands on this? Did you buy this? Please tell me you didn't buy thi-
"Two years ago we got into a huge argument and we didn't speak for weeks. Do you remember?" Kurt said with a grin and he nodded as another laugh came out of his mouth. "I may or may not have replaced your first edition Beethoven with a replica."
The whole room burst into laughter and Wes's shocked face and he started to stumble over his words.
"Are you saying the one you snapped was a replica?"
"There's a reason I snapped that one and not your others ones." Kurt said with a grin at the excitement in his face. "I took it home with me and got it professionally sealed for you so it wouldn't get damaged. I had it for year before I left Dalton and because I know you never play it, I knew you wouldn't know but I would know and that was more than enough for me."
"You didn't snap it." Wes whispered as his smile got wider as he turned the record around.
"No. I know how much they mean to you."
Wes gently pass it to David before leaning over and pulling him in for a hug which made them all smile at their connection.
"Thank you so much."
"Are you happy?"
"I'm very fucking happy." Wes said through his laughs of shock and he squeezed him harder. "I'm so fucking happy but I don't know why I'm thanking you, you hid it for two years you asshole."
Kurt laughed into his shoulder before pulling back. "Sorry for being a bitch."
"I'm sorry for being an asshole."
Kurt nodded with a laugh as he glanced to Blaine. "Can we talk?"
"I'm going to state the obvious and tell you that you're an asshole leaving me leaning against the car with my dick in my hands."
Blaine burst into laughter as he started to sit down, sliding him a plate over with a sandwich on. "By my memory you dick was definitely not in your hands."
"You're not funny Anderson."
"Come on it was pretty funny. Your face was priceless."
Kurt glanced to the sandwich that was cut into fours and he rolled his eyes before picking it a square up. "It was slighty funny I'll give you that. Why did you do it?"
"Leave you with your dick in your hands?"
"Anderson." Kurt warned but Blaine just laughed and gestured for him to eat.
"I think you know why Kurt. I needed it so thank you for at least giving me that."
Kurt took a bit and placed it down as he began to chew the sandwich. He smiled slighty as he picked up his orange juice from the table. "I needed it too. I really did. The way things ended was so brutal you know?"
"I know. I guess it got out of hand."
"No it didn't Anderson. I deserved it." Kurt after he had swallowed another bite. "I didn't mean to hurt you, I promise it was one time."
"I believe you. We should talk about what's going to happen Sunday."
Kurt nodded just before he took a sip of his drink. "I can't be around you, it's just going to make things worse for both parties. I'm just going to keep the distance until things settle slighty. If he sees me with you it's just going to cause an argument I really don't need."
"He's not hurting you is he?"
"No of course not but he's very territorial as you already know and I don't want to hurt you either."
"It's going to kill me seeing you both together."
"I know it is and I'm so sorry." Kurt said as he placed his orange juice down on the table.
"I'm going to end up arguing with you."
"I know, it's just going to get worse as the days go by. I kinda hope you do, it'll make it easier for us both."
"I hate arguing with you. I never win anyway." Blaine said with a laugh and Kurt laughed too.
"That's because I don't back down Anderson. I'm sorry for what I said earlier too before breakfast. I did mean it but I could of said it a lot more nicer."
"I was reading up about your medication. Mood swings seemed to be a common symptom for most of them. How does it feel?"
"Sometimes I feel myself, my old self but other times I go numb and push people away. I practically feel nothing and it's like turning my humanity switch off. I just got cold and heartless. I was pretty much feeling that Thursday."
"And today you feel more yourself?"
Kurt nodded. "I do, I feel myself so far but it can switch throughout the day. I could take my next dose and I could turn again so I'm sorry in advance if I say something cruel."
"Is that why you're so angry?"
"No, I'm angry for other reasons but it does play a big part in it. I just wish I didn't have to medicate to feel normal."
"And if you stopped taking them?"
"I wouldn't like to know truthfully." Kurt said with a sad smile before he started to eat again.
"Can I have my question?"
Kurt swallowed and nodded as he picked up his drink again. This man was by far amazing, he was still kind after all this time apart.
"Did you enjoy it? Or did you do it make me happy?"
"At first I wanted to make you happy. I didn't want to kiss you." Kurt said through a lie and he was thankful it was good enough to be believable. "But when we kissed it felt like I was a teenager again. All that shit that happened last year just went out my mind. I more then enjoyed it Blaine, it felt amazing but I feel guilty for allowing myself to be that person again and doing it behind his back."
"Are you going to tell him?"
"Either way I'm in the dog house." Kurt said with a laugh and Blaine laughed too. "If I tell him he'll flip and if I don't tell him it'll eat me up eventually and he'll flip for not telling him sooner. I don't what to do."
"Do what you think is best. We won't say a word to him I promise."
"Thank you. Let's just please avoid talking about it? It feels wrong speaking about him. I don't get to do that with you it's making my skin crawl."
"I agree. To be honest with you I don't want to even want to think about him let alone talk about him." Blaine said as he gestured to the plate. "Come on, you've only ate one and you've got your medication to take."
Kurt smiled and started to eat again as the others walked in to the kitchen after giving them some time alone together.
"We should have a drink tonight."
"Do you think that's a good idea?" Kurt asked with a laugh before he started to eat his third piece which made Blaine smile.
"Well you're not going to lock lips again right? So I don't see the problem porcelain. I think we all need to blow off some steam before Sunday. Who's in?"
"I'm totally in if baby is. I've never seen you drink before."
"And you won't blondie. I'm game but I'm not drinking. I can't anyway with the medication." Kurt said with a smirk and they rolled their eyes.
"One night won't kill you. Live a little baby." Jeff said with a mischievous grin and they all knew that look in his days. "Please, for me?"
"You know I can't say no to you."
Jeff let out an excited squeal and blew him a kiss. "Tonight is going to be awesome. Now, take your medication after you sandwich."
"Okay daddy." Kurt said with a wink as he watched his best friend blush furiously.
The rest of the day went quickly, Kurt had spent most of the day in his room tidying around and unpacking the rest of things while every else went had already been out shopping for the alcohol and setting up the common room. Kurt had been practicing force fed a pizza by David before he had give him he third dose of the day and he was going to skip the last due to the alcohol. He had just got out the shower and threw a baggy t shirt on of David's and was currently brushing his teeth as he stared at himself in the mirror.
"You should lo-
Kurt jumped at the voice and he placed a hand on his heart and Blaine started to laugh hysterically as he listened to his heart beat flutter at the scare.
"You should lock your door."
"You nearl-
"Don't ever do that again Anderson my toes have gone numb."
Blaine chuckled as he leaned over and turned the shower on so he could get his own. "Have you been using my shampoo?"
Kurt stopped brushing his teeth as he turned his head. "No?"
Blaine squinted his eyes and glanced to his hair that was soaking wet and in a flash he was smelling it. "I think you did Hummel."
Kurt started to laugh so he had to spit the remaining toothpaste out his mouth. "I did no such thing Anderson."
"You smell of my body wash too." Blaine said with a smirk and Kurt laughed louder as he started to clean the sink. "Don't you have your own shit to use?"
"Yours is better."
"But it's mine for a reason. For me only, for my own personal use."
"But you always used to let me use it. What's the difference now? I'm still your neighbour. Can't I have neighbour privilege?" Kurt questioned as he titled his head to challenge him.
"Only if I can use yours."
"Seriously?"
"Seriously. Do you use that vanilla one still? I love that one."
Kurt opened the cabinet and reached in, pulling out the three bottles and handing them to him. "Knock yourself out champ."
Blaine laughed as he glanced down to the bottles for a second before looking up. "Are you going to watch or?"
"I'm not finished. Can't you wait?" Kurt said with a laugh as he started to blush at the words.
"No, I've got to go out soon. Can you just get out?"
Kurt laughed harder as he placed his toothbrush into the holder and turned his head to his ex boyfriend who was smiling at him and he had to turn away.
"Nothing I haven't seen before Anderson."
"Okay." Blaine said with a shrug as he started to take the shirt from his body and Kurt eyes went wide as he watched him through the mirror and he started to make his way out the bathroom quickly. "What's the matter Hummel! Thought it's nothing you haven't seen before huh?"
"Fuck you Anderson!"
Blaine laughed as the door slammed shut and he started to finish getting undressed, undoing his belt and sliding it from his waist. It was extremely strange for him not to just get undressed in front of kurt but he knew it was the best. He took his jeans off and stepped into the shower as he thought about the last two days. He felt arms wrapped around him and he laughed turning his head to his best friend.
"Can I have two minutes alone?"
"What's the point wasting water when we can shower together?"
"True." Blaine said with a grin as he turned his body around and he grinned wider looking down his body. "You look so good."
"I always look good. So do you honey." Nick whispered into his lips as he started to place the vanillin shampoo onto his hand before massaging it into his best friends hair. "Today has gone a lot better than expected. Don't you think?"
"I'm surprised too. He's a lot more chilled out today. Are you mad at me for kissing him?"
"Not mad honey just confused. I know you needed it but it felt so intimate. That wasn't just a goodbye kiss in my eyes and it worried me."
"You're worried he's going to send me spiralling again aren't you?" Blaine said with a sigh of contempt when he felt his fingers brushed through every curl.
"You've had such a tough year and he's already making you fall hard after two days. I don't want you pinning over him when he's pinning over fuck face. It doesn't sit well with me." Nick said as he started to rinse the shampoo out of his hair. "Even though I think something else is going on I don't want you to be hurting in the process. I just love you to much to see you that hurt again."
"I appreciate everything you've done for me Nicky. I would have been lost without you. Thank you for getting me through it I don't know what I would of done without your help. I love you so much."
Nick grinned and leaned in closer, pressing his lips to his gently before pulling back slighty. "I thought the drink would loosen him up a little and get him to open up more. I don't know if it'll work out or not but it's worth a shot right?"
"It is Nicky. I'm grateful you're trying. I know how hard it is for you to be around him."
"I'm really trying and the only reason I am is to figure out what's going on." Nick said into his lips and Blaine nodded cupping his face. "I'm still so angry and I will take it out on him more than once but I'll try not to kill him in the process."
"That's a good boy." Blaine teased before they started to comfort eachother with gentle kisses.
"Have you seen my watch man!" David said on his hands and knees as he looked under the bed. "I swear I put it on the s-
Wes held it out with a laugh and his best friend rolled his eyes as he started to stand. He went to reach for it but smiled when Wes started to put it on for him.
"You're going soft."
"I know."
"I'm proud of you."
Wes fastened it for him but kept his hold on his wrist as he looked up to meet his eyes at the kind words. "Thank you David."
"It's alright man. Shall we get going?"
"Not just yet." Wes said as he opened his arms with an embarrassed laugh.
"Oh shit are you going to hug me?"
"Don't make it awkward. Are you going to hug me or not?"
"Just give me second man my brain is doing overtime."
"David, don't be an as-
He quickly stepped forward and cut his words off he giving him a bone crushing hug. They both laughed and relaxed at the unusual feeling of being intimate.
"This is kinda nice man."
"I feel uncomfortable, yet comfortable." Wes whispered into his ear and his best friend nodded knowing exactly what he meant.
"I can let go?"
"No, just a big longer."
"Okay Wes." David whispered back as he started to hold him tighter and everything in the world just seemed so much more better.
Kurt was already ready and sitting in the kitchen downing a glass of Wes's red wine. He was more than nervous, he was practically shaking at the thought of him having one slip up that could ruin everything he had did for the past year.
He finished the wine and started to pour another, pulling a face slightly as it hit the back of his throat. He could use the drink tonight and was actually thankful Nick had suggested it. He lifted the glass and took another sip.
"You look sick man."
Kurt was wearing a pair of black ripped jeans with a red sweatshirt thrown over, it was tucked in at the front slighty to show the black belt with a bright red buckle to match. His sneakers was also red and black and he knew his best friend would die if he seen them on him since they was a gift from a year back. He knew the look would shock them because it was so different.
"Thank you David. You look very handsome. I love you in blue." Kurt said with a grin as he walked over with his glass of wine. "I'm surprised you don't have a line a women lining up for you."
David let out a laugh as he started to open his beer. "How many glasses of wine have you drank?"
"Don't be stupid. You're so attractive." Kurt said with a frown as he grabbed the beer from his hands and he started to open it with his teeth before passing it back to David, who was laughing shaking his head. "It's one thing to get complimented by a woman but it's a another to be compliment by a man. Take it David, you're hot."
"Thank man. It's actually new. Would you believe my man picked it out for me?"
"He did good. Who knew he knew fashion?"
"Just because I live in blazers doesn't mean I don't know know fashion." Wes said rolling his eyes as he walked in and as soon as he seen Kurt he had to refrain from a moan at his new look. "I see you have changed your wardrobe the past year. The red is practically giving me a migraine."
"I look hot Wesley, I don't know what the hell you're taking about." Kurt said with a smirk as he leaned over the counter. "The wine is amazing by the way. Thank you."
"Who said you fucking drink my wine bitch?"
"I helped myself I hope you don't mind asshole. It's gorgeous, what even is that?"
"It's imported. You do know that's three grand a bottle right?"
Kurt eyes went wide and he slowly slid the bottle over to him in shock. "Oh no I kind of went ham."
"What do you mean you went ham?" Wes said picking the bottle up and he groaned feeling it half empty. "Do you know how trashed you're going to be? Jesus Kurtis you're meant to sip it."
"How the fuck was I meant to know? I don't know the difference between a five dollar bottle and a three gra-
"That's silly money Wesley. How could spend three grand on a bottle of wine are you fucking insane?" Kurt said as he swirled the wine around in his glass. "Tell him he's fucking deluded David."
"I've told him countless of times man but he doesn't listen to a word I say. He likes the finer things in life."
"Do you want it back?"
"You've already had your mouth around it and it's practically gone anyway. You might as well finish it off." Wes said shaking his head as he tried to contain his laughter.
"Shit I feel bad. I swear I didn't kn-
"Just shut up and drink it will you and stop moaning?"
"Your best friend is a asshole. I just thought I would let you know." Kurt said with a smirk as he kissed David's cheek and leaned his head into his shoulder.
"Oh I know man you don't have to remind m-
"Fuck you Thompson."
"In your dreams." David shot back with a wink and Kurt burst into laughter as the others walked in shaking their heads.
"Holy shit." Blaine whispered as his eyes landed on his ex boyfriend and Jeff and Nick both nodded because it was exactly what they was thinking in their heads.
"God baby you look so fine."
Kurt blushed instantly as he felt hands wrapped around his torso and blushed harder when he felt his fingers playing with his belt. "Stop it you I'm not drunk enough yet."
"You're not drunk enough yet?" Jeff teased and he groaned at the choice of words. "I'm going to get you so shit faced you won't even remember your own name."
"Blondie stop." Kurt laughed as he felt his nose nuzzle against his neck playfully and he joined his hands with him on his front. "I'm bright fucking red."
"Least you match your outfit."
"Fuck off Duval."
Nick chuckled as he started to open a beer for him and his best friend. He could see Blaine couldn't take his eyes of him and he wasn't surprised. Kurt looked more than hot and was wearing something they never thought they would see him in.
"How about we take the party in the common room?" Jeff said excitedly as he started to drag Kurt back by his waist and they all laughed as they started to follow.
"I'm going to regret this in the morning!"
