Geez, so many questions, so little time. How am I going to explain these?
Kurama: Author…
(screams in Candace Flynn). What the fuck is wrong with you?!
Naruto: How about the fact that we're starting another chapter?
Oh, silly me. Where are my manners?
Welcome back to Fox Tail, ladies and gentlemen and I dearly hope that you are enjoying it so far. Today, Naruto and company will be emulating the Lullaby arc, or as I like to call it the Eisenwald arc, because this is going to be followed more closely than canon.
Apologies for the longer wait in posting this. Good news is I got a job. And the bad news, it's being a pain in the ass for my schedule. Fortunately, it does give me a more consistent publishing schedule. Chapters will be coming every Saturday evening at the earliest, and if not, Sunday morning.
But before I get into explanations, today will be the official debut of the story's version of Sakura.
Sakura: Can't wait for it!
Personally, I can't either. Before we officially start, there are some things that I wanted to address earlier after I ended the Taki Town arc, but sadly forgot.
Thanks to Sesshoru and Kingblade69 for favoriting and following this fic. You both are awesome.
First things first: This version of Haku would be playing the role of Laki Olietta, hence why I had him join the guild. Mostly because I felt that Haku had something that Laki did not.
Naruto: Let me guess, ice style?
Sasuke: Besides that, idiot.
Naruto (angry): I was struggling to come up with other answers, you know.
Kisame: I'd say Haku had a backstory.
That is correct, Mr. Hoshigaki.
Kisame (grins): Well, we are Hidden Mist natives, after all.
Suigetsu: Dammit, I was going to say pointy teeth.
Tenten: I thought that he reminded me more of Mulan.
I will admit, you are not wrong in thinking that way.
Long story short, I wanted to give Haku a semblance of a backstory, which is why I added the scene with him and Hiruzen. Backstories matter when you write your characters… (glares at the computer).
Tenten: You do know that Mashima is not in the room, right?
Can you let me have my fun for five minutes?
Anyway, as I was saying, Fairy Tail viewers pretty much know jack shit about Laki, other than she has wood magic. At least from my experience.
Hotaru: Would we be seeing the Seven Ninja Swordsmen again?
Pakura: Yeah, I don't think that we actually had a chance to show off our true skills.
Thanks for the reminder because that would be my second thing I forgot to address. So each fight scene was happening at the same time, which is why there wasn't much room to explain. Also, I didn't want to drag out the previous chapter more than I already would have.
Yes, I do have plans for them in the future, so don't worry about that. Not anything major, really.
Sasori: Just get it over with.
I swear, you are going to give me a migraine.
Hiruzen: Paperwork is much worse.
Tsunade: Do you want him to write the fight scenes for you?
Hiruzen: You dare betray me?!
Yes, she dares, and I will allow it. Payback for breaking Minato and Kushina's promise. (cries) They were the best parents!
Hiruzen: Curse you, author!
Alright, today's disclaimer job goes to Naruto and Sasuke.
Sasuke: Do I have to join in?
Yes, you do, because you are also Sakura's teammate.
Naruto: Don't forget your other punishment of training with Guy-sensei.
Sasuke: I told him to slow down after 200 laps around the Leaf!
Naruto: Still worth it, though! Grandma Tsunade's gonna love this when it's on the Internet!
Sasuke: I demand you delete that right now!
Naruto: Try and make me!
Both of you knock it off! You're starting to be as bad as Hidan and Kakuzu! Great Hagoromo, I did too good of a job with these two.
Sakura: Tell me about it.
Now both of you do the disclaimer, or I'm sending you to catch Tora.
Naruto (pales): Sure thing. SmashBro25 doesn't own the plot of Fairy Tail nor the characters from my home series.
Sasuke: The honors go to Hiro Mashima and Masashi Kishimoto.
Thank you both for finally behaving. Now let's start the arc.
Chapter 6: Sakura Haruno, the Titania
Within the crowded and overly loud noises that covered the guild hall stood one raven haired woman named Hinata. Hinata was busy looking for a job on the bulletin board, standing near Hanzo, who, as usual for him, was doing the same thing.
"What to take, what to take." Hinata muttered to herself.
"I know how you feel," Hanzo told her, eyes facing the board. "It's hard to find the job that's just right."
"You and me both," Kakuzu responded from one of the bar stools. He was sitting next to Tsunade, who could be seen carrying another barrel of sake. "Now just pick one with lots of money so that I could do something worthwhile."
"Okay, geez." Hanzo shuddered, "No need to be in such a hurry."
"There is whenever these idiots get into another fight again." He grumbled.
"So, in other words, Friday." A voice said nonchalantly, revealing themselves to be Choji and Iruka, the former of whom was making the comment. "How's it going, Hinata? Need any help?"
"Nah, no thanks, guys." She told Team Ninshu, "I'm just having trouble finding a job."
"Who can blame you?" Iruka stated, "There's a large variety to choose from: searching for forbidden spells, fighting off a group of ogres, the goblins at Ame Town. You get the idea."
"Oh, I forgot to ask, how was the goblin mission?" Kurotsuchi piped in, unaware of the conversation happening.
"Man, those guys were pretty easy to fight off." Bragged Choji, "Time flies when you defeated 500 of them."
"Don't deny that I defeated the most!" Iruka yelled.
"Keep dreaming, speed demon." He scoffed, causing Iruka's face to color itself red in anger. He turned to Kurotsuchi. "But on the bright side, we got a hell of a reward."
"Please let it be a cloud full of money," Shikamaru yawned, "I got cheated out of my reward last mission I went to."
"Apparently, the Iwa Kingdom has a problem with ninja mages," Mu filled in for them, "The guys can't even tell magic from street performers, so they're taking it out on us."
"Oh, you can bet on the cloud full," Choji chirped happily. He and Iruka brought two large sacks of money and placed it on one of the tables, causing everyone present to gasp in shock. "5 million Ryo, baby!"
"That is not a legit reward!" Mu yelled angrily.
"This isn't fair! They get money without even trying!" Hanzo and Kakuzu cried in unison.
"Suck it up, boys." Iruka taunted. "Because Fox Tail is making it rich today!"
"Guys, I doubt you wanted to talk to me so that you could brag about your success." Hinata interrupted, "Even though it is pretty sweet."
"Oh, yeah, sorry about that. Got a little carried away." Iruka apologized sheepishly. "We were just wondering if you and your friends are still teaming up with Naruto."
"It's still up in the air," Kushina answered for her. "Why do you ask?"
"Well, we were hoping to invite you guys to Team Ninshu," Choji explained, "Well, for starters, you're pretty powerful, being someone who helped defeat Kiri's Seven Ninja Swordsmen."
"Actually, I fought off the mercenary." Hinata confessed, "Naruto and the others did the rest."
"Don't be so humble all of a sudden," He dismissed, "Did I forget that you guys fought off the Vulcan King Enma and saved Kakashi from that Hyena fellow?"
"Well, thanks for the praise, guys." She smiled, "But I was hoping that –"
"Yeah, sorry guys." Said another voice as Naruto walked over to where the conversation was headed, "But she's on my team."
"Besides, don't you guys already have Tenten?" Kurama added.
"Well, yeah we do," Iruka answered, "But we were hoping to gain some extra hands. Team Ninshu can't just be a three-man team."
"We're just helping out Tenten," Choji replied, "So what brings you guys here?"
"How about the fact that you are trying to steal out future teammates?" growled the fox as the two teammates shivered in fear of the fox.
"Well, we better get going now." Choji shivered, "Can't keep Tenten waiting all day." And he and Iruka fled the scene of the talking.
"Do you really have to do that?" Naruto reprimanded him.
"Yes, I do." Kurama answered, "It's bad enough that Iruka kept pestering Pakura. They don't need to bother us every chance they get."
"Well, they're our guildmates, you know," He told his companion, "And besides, they've helped us a lot during some missions."
"What are you guys talking about?" Haku asked them, walking up to them. It hasn't been that long since Hiruzen let him join the guild. "Who is Team Ninshu?"
So he did join us after all. Hinata thought with a smile on her face. Deep down, she was hoping that Haku would them ever since their first encounter. A part of her felt that he needed someone that could help guide him on a better path than the one people like Ameyuri or Jinpachi gave him. To know that wish came true was something that she couldn't help but celebrate.
"A team of three that usually sticks together," Naruto answered. "But sometimes, they team up alongside the other members, such as me and Kurama."
"They can put up a hell of a show," Kurama admitted, "But that was only after we saved them from a trio of cave trolls." He turned to Hinata, "So which job did you decide to give us?"
"Wait, us?" Hinata asked him. "What do you mean us?"
"Well, we are a team after all." The jinchuriki answered her. "So what did you choose?"
"Gee, I don't know." She replied, and then thought of something. "I was thinking about the whole adapting talk you gave me, and…"
"Yeah, in hindsight, I probably should have thought that it would stick too much," he responded sheepishly, while rubbing the back of his head. "Two things to get out of way. I picked you because you're a good person to be around," she blushed in response, "and adapting doesn't mean that we change teammates every single mission."
"Well, that made me feel better than I thought it would." She replied, "Thank you for telling me that."
"Don't mention it." He smiled.
"You should still have better options," Everyone turned to see Sasuke slouching on one of the bar tables, "Your accomplishments are nothing to scoff at, but bolt-brain just forces missions down your throat whenever he feels like it."
"How about you leave her alone, flasher-face?" Naruto sneered.
"How about you quit calling me that?"
"Sasuke," Tsunade called from the bar stool, "Clothes."
He screamed as he noticed his condition: stripped of everything except for his boxers.
"I'm so glad I managed to stay decent despite being around you." Naruto laughed.
The two glared and growled at each other, lightning bolts emitting from their eyes and clashing as the stares grew more intense. That was when Kushina grabbed their ears and pulled them away from each other.
"Maybe I should bash your heads in if you two don't learn to get along." She growled, "Now grow up and knock it off." Unfortunately, her request was ignored… if only because Naruto and Sasuke were screaming in the pain their ears are in.
Hinata sighed and turned to Kurama. "Why do those two have to fight every day? I mean I could understand that one of their magics makes the other, since lightning creates plasma, but they couldn't be any more alike."
"In all honesty, I don't know," The fox sighed, "But their rivalry is pretty strong ever since Naruto joined the guild. But they do get along… even though those occasions are pretty rare."
"Hey, Hinata," Ino yelled from the bar, "Did you find anything yet?"
"No, not really. It's more difficult than you think." She responded.
"Alright, but let me know if you find one, since the Master's at the Guild Summit."
"What's a Guild Summit?" Kurotsuchi asked, having ended a conversation between everyone present.
"Oh, right, you guys are new here," the female blonde remembered, "Let me explain it to you like this." She turned to Sai, who was busy painting a picture of a shirtless Kisame. "Hey, Sai, do you mind if I borrow one of your paintbrushes?"
"Go right ahead," the painter answered, "I'm not using it at the moment."
"Okay, thanks." Ino turned back to Hinata and Kurotsuchi and began painting on the air in front of them.
"A Guild Summit is a meeting between the masters of major guilds," she explained as she drew ten small circles surrounding a larger circle, "These guilds can range from ours, to Elysian Flame, Siren Note, Pharoah Eye, and so on and so forth." She labelled the larger circle Guild Masters. "Their job is to discuss important matters that they need to address in front of the Magic Council, who are more or less the bosses of the ninja community," She drew another circle on top of that and labelled as such. "These matters can range from new guild laws or reports on any criminals or Dark Guilds that are on the rise."
"Figures there would be dark guilds running around," Kurotsuchi moaned in disappointment.
"Well, it is the ninja world after all," she smiled, "These Dark Guilds are those that don't follow the laws the Magic Council provides them and don't associate with guilds like us. They lurk in the shadows, dealing with criminals or evil empires while at the same time threatening society."
Suddenly, Suigetsu slowly opened the door and walked in the building, "Hey, I don't know if this counts as a criminal threat," he started nervously, "But there is a pink-haired girl walking straight to the guild and I was hoping for you to tell me how to deal with it?"
Everyone not named Haku, Hinata, or a part of her crew froze and merely stared at Suigetsu. He noticed this and asked, "Uh, is everyone okay or something?"
Everyone was running around in a panic. Whether from a man with almond-shaped eyes, or two people, such as a bearded man with a cigarette, and a red-eyed woman, fear consumed the room and Suigetsu unfortunately was the cause of it. Well, except for his clique, who was just a mix between confusion and calm, Naruto and Sasuke, both of whom were rubbing their ears, and Ino, who just grinned at the chaos surrounding her. Even Haku had a nervous feeling surrounding him, and he just joined the guild.
"Finally, Sakura's back." Breathed Naruto. "Can't wait to see her again."
"I'll call a celebration later," Ino quipped.
"She's only been gone a month and you two make it seem like it's been years." Complained Sasuke.
"Sakura…" Hinata whispered the name in awe. "Naruto and Sasuke told me a little bit about her. But can she really be that scary?"
"The reason they're afraid of her is because she's one of Fox Tail's strongest mages." The bearded man, who she would later learn is named Asuma Connell, explained to her. Shockingly, he managed to calm down despite the situation. "She can give off an intimidating aura that can reach farther than the main doors."
"It's best for you to see for yourself." Said the red-eyed woman, who would later be known as Kurenai Mulan.
The guild remained silent as a set of quiet footsteps emerged. The footsteps grew louder and louder as the person went closer and closer, leaving everyone shivering, knowing full well the owner.
"It's really her," Haku gaped.
"Those really are her footsteps," Jugo whispered.
"She's coming closer." Konan quivered.
Kakashi and Tsunade were noticing the whispers surrounding them and made some of their own.
"I bet she probably heard about the Mount Myoboku mission." Tsunade humored.
"If she has, then I'm screwed for sure." Kakashi squeaked beneath his mask.
"Yikes," cringed Tsume, "Even I don't want to challenge her, and she sounds so fearsome."
"Let's just hope she lives up to the hype." Kisame smirked, "I hate for her to fail my expectations."
The doors widened, leaving the bright sunny sky and a pink haired girl, with a red sleeveless shirt and a pink skirt on. Black shorts could be seen underneath the skirt, and she walked to the building in black knee-high boots with low heels. She wore a serious and firm expression on her face letting people know that she is not to be messed with, despite a smirk being clearly shown. She carried a giant yellow horn and a brown club that was double her size.
"It feels good to be back," Sakura sighed. She looked around the room, not even sparing them a single glance. "Is Master Hiruzen here?"
"Unfortunately, he's away at the Summit." Ino answered her, being the only one brave enough to answer her. "Sorry about that. I probably should have told you sooner."
"Don't blame yourself, Ino." She told her. "I'm not the one in charge of his schedule."
"Uh, what are those things?" The almond-shaped eyed man asked her with a hint of nervousness.
"Oh, those were the horn and club of a giant satyr that I managed to defeat." She answered calmly. "Would that be a problem by any chance, Yamato?"
"No, ma'am. Far from it. I was curious that's all." The newly named Yamato shivered.
"Don't w-worry, Sakura." Offered Naruto. "I-I'll carry t-those in for you."
"Are you sure you want to, Naruto?" She asked, this time with concern. "I don't want you to damage yourself like –"
"Nonsense, I'll h-handle them." The jinchuriki assured her as he was struggling to lift the club the way Sakura held it. A creaking sound could be heard from the ground as the club was slowly being lifted off it. "They s-should be pretty e-easy to carry, y-you know."
"Well, I'll c-carry the h-horn then." Jugo offered and had pretty much the same trouble carrying it like Naruto did. "A real m-man must always be w-willing to h-help out a woman." As he said that, Sakura decided to let them carry it and turned to everyone else.
"Listen up, all of you." Everyone straightened themselves and stiffened at the sound of her voice. "While I was away, I heard of the exploits you all were carrying. While I don't care about your actions during missions, I do not want you to cause any unnecessary stress on Master Hiruzen and each other. Do I make myself clear?"
"Yes, Sakura! Understood!" Everyone gulped.
"So that's the Titania in the flesh," Suigetsu muttered with a smile on his face. "She must be pretty badass if she could carry all that stuff."
"I'm sorry were you saying something?" He turned around to notice Sakura glaring at him, possibly hearing what he said. He screamed in pure terror of the fact the Sakura was talking to him. Not helping matters was everyone staring at him.
"Oh, n-n-nothing at all, ma'am! I-I-I was just thinking out loud that it is n-n-nice to meet you that's all!"
"Hmm," Sakura pondered. "You must be one of the new ones I have heard about. It is nice to meet you too, but I have to ask you a question first before I let you introduce yourself."
"Uh…ok, Titania." He said slowly, not fully recovered from his current state. "What do I owe the pleasure of answering you?"
Yikes, no wonder everyone was running in circles, Kushina thought, If she managed to catch Suigetsu off guard, then I better make sure not to get on her bad side.
As she thought this, Sakura pulled up a dolphin costume. The same dolphin costume from the Mt. Myoboku mission. "Can you please care to explain why I found this in the guild's trash can?"
"I…wore it… during the… Mount Myoboku… mission." Suigetsu shuddered.
"And why were you wearing this specific outfit?" She gritted her teeth at him.
"I sort of, kinda, lost a bet against a friend. And since I wasn't able to complete it, I had to wear that thing." She just simply stared at him. But she decided to believe him.
"I see. But do not let something like this happen again." She warned him. "Fox Tail is a guild that holds dignity greatly, and I will not let a silly costume like this tarnish it. Don't make me repeat myself a second time."
"Y-y-yes, Miss Titania! I won't let you down a second time!"
"Good." She turned to look at a certain masked ninja. "Kakashi!"
He turned to Sakura with an incredibly sweating eye as she glared at him. "Please say something!" He begged, with a waterfall of tears pouring out of his face.
She just shook her head in annoyance at his begging and decided to get to the point.
"Onto important matters. Is Sasuke here right now?"
"Yeah, right here, on my way." He answered while running to face her. He was sweating bullets the entire time.
"Excellent. I need your help with something." She turned to face a certain blonde, who was helping Jugo carry the satyr's horn. "You too, Naruto. This cannot wait any longer."
"Right, on it." The jinchuriki replied while zipping next to Sasuke, leaving the orange-haired young man to his fate.
"While I was out, I heard of something that popped up involving a small dark guild. Normally, I would consult with Master Hiruzen before setting out, but time is of the essence. I need you two to work together alongside me for this mission."
And once again, the room was silent. This time it was for a different reason. Sakura Haruno, the Sakura Haruno, was asking for help. And this time, it was from her old teammates. Her old teammates, who were busy glaring at each other in disgust for the reason everyone was thinking of.
I have to team up with him?! Naruto and Sasuke thought.
"Do we have a problem, gentlemen?" She questioned.
"No, we're absolutely dandy!" They responded, not wanting to face her wrath.
"We leave tomorrow morning." She told them. "Get ready by then." Both of them nodded in response
"Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura, huh." Ino mused.
"It looks like this could be return of Fox Tail's strongest team." Konan added.
Hinata was in thought after what she had just heard. Strongest team? She asked herself. Could those three alone really be so powerful together?
And Hinata's thoughts had to wait while in Konoha Central Station, because the strongest team had a problem with cooperation.
"I hate this! Can't believe Sakura wanted me to team up with you!" Naruto complained.
"Yeah, tell me about it. I don't see why she wanted your help, even if she needed it." Sasuke argued.
"Fine, if you want to be a douche about it, then go ahead and do it yourself. I don't want to go anyway!"
"Perfect plan for me. Then I'll just watch Sakura beat the crap out of you!"
Hinata just hid on a bench with Kurama, Pakura, and Suigetsu, who is still shivering like a scaredy-cat. Kurama on the other hand, just sat there, facepalming at the scene in front of him.
"Come on, guys," Hinata said, nervously trying to get between the two. "There's no need to fight. You're making a scene in here."
"Since you obviously aren't doing a good job reining them in, I have to ask you something." Kurama snarked, "Why did you three come along with us for the mission?"
"She's the one who wanted to go in the first place." He pointed at her. "I just tagged along to make sure that they don't cause too much trouble."
"Yeah, that's obviously a lie." Pakura rolled her eyes. "We only went along because Ino wanted us to help her and Sakura to do… well, what he said in the first place."
"Hey, I don't see you three doing anything to help!" She yelled while attempting to separate the two arch-rivals.
"What's going on in there?" Asked a stern and annoyed voice.
"Oh, uh, Sakura, hi there." Naruto stiffened, "Sasuke and I were just having a friendly chat, you know."
"Yeah, nothing to worry about here." Sasuke added as he pulled the jinchuriki closer in a one-armed hug. "We're just being buddies, right Naruto?"
"Yeah, we're getting along just fine. Mission stress just getting to us."
"Like I'm going to fall for that again." Sakura scowled. Afterwards, she decided to bonk the two on the heads for their shenanigans.
"Ah, dammit, that hurt!" The lightning ninja yelled.
"What the hell?! Why did you have to do that?!" Sasuke added.
"It was obvious from the beginning!" Sakura yelled, "You really think you could try that stunt again?" They both opened their mouths, "Don't answer that." She turned to Hinata and the other two mages. "You three are new here, aren't you?"
Hinata internally squealed before answering, "Yeah, we are. We just joined up not that long ago. I'm Hinata Heartfilia, and this is Pakura Vergito and Suigetsu Leorio. Or you can call him Mr. Dolphin," Suigetsu glared at her, "Konohamaru likes to call him that."
"Well, when you introduce yourself to someone while wearing a costume, chances are it's going to stick for a while." Sakura replied, "So what brings you three here?"
"Oh, Ino wanted us to join you on the mission. If only for those two dumbasses," The aforementioned dumbasses (guess who) were glaring at her in response. "I'll do the best I can to be of service."
The pinkette smiled warmly, "Well, regardless of her sending you or not, we're happy to have you three aboard. Oh and Suigetsu," He turned to her, fearing for his life. "Sorry for calling you out earlier. It wasn't exactly the best first impression."
"No worries. I was just glad to meet you in person." He assured her.
"Besides, I should have known better than to make the very people who helped defeat the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of Kiri, as well as fighting off an evil gorilla."
"Thanks. I'm just doing my job." Hinata rubbed her head sheepishly.
"And the fights were totally worth it. Even though they were pretty easy." Suigetsu added.
"Come on, Jinin wasn't that easy to defeat. He certainly gave me a run for my money." Pakura assured him.
"Hey, Naruto." Interjected a fully recovered Sasuke, "When this is over, I demand the match point I asked for. I have no intention of leaving our scores at a mere tie."
"Will you ever let it go?" Naruto groaned. "Fine, I'll fight you after the mission." He muttered something about his predicament as he entered the train, facing his greatest challenge yet.
The greatest challenge was inevitably one-sided, since Naruto was lying on one of the seats, trying his hardest not to vomit in front of his teammates. Hinata and Kurama were next to him, while the rest were sitting in opposite seats. Sasuke and Pakura on the right end, and Sakura and Suigetsu on the left end.
"This is just pathetic," Sasuke muttered, gesturing to the motion sick jinchuriki, "Like I seriously don't know whether to pity him."
"Pity would be the more reasonable response," Pakura answered for him. "If I had to ride with someone like him, I would feel it."
"Doesn't sound like a pleasant experience for you, Ms. Haruno," Suigetsu stated, "How about a movie to make up for that? I heard the new Princess Gale film is coming out…"
"We'll discuss date night later, or not at all," Sakura answered him bluntly. "Now do me a favor and switch seats with Naruto."
With his head down low, and about to cry comical waterfalls, he carried Naruto to where he was sitting and moved closer to Hinata.
"Alright, buddy, just need you to relax a little bit more," she instructed him. She instead punched Naruto right in the gut, knocking him unconscious, and leaving him near a window. "There we go, now this will make for a nice trip."
"Gee, thanks for the help," Sasuke answered. A sweat drop formed from his head after witnessing her actions and decided to get to the point. "Speaking of that, you said you needed help for this mission, yet you never actually explained what type of help or why you need it."
"This would have actually made everything a lot easier." Agreed Kurama.
As if on cue, Sakura breathed deeply and told them everything, starting with this tidbit of information: "When I was on my way, I overheard something between a group of mages from the former Eisenwald guild. One of the words stuck to me the most, and I think it is something most of you here are familiar with. Does the name Jashin mean anything to you?"
"Jashin?" Suigetsu asked, "I've heard myths about him, although I doubt it would be the same one you are talking about."
"A being made of pure evil; that was one thing I heard about." Kurama responded. "But wasn't he just speculation?"
"It looks like they were just trying to hype him up." Pakura theorized.
"How do people hype up pure evil?" Hinata questioned, "Isn't that asking to be arrested?"
"Normally, I would agree with you, Hinata." Sakura answered, "But apparently, Jashin is real. And indeed, the rumors about him are true."
"Are you sure it was Eisenwald?" Sasuke asked her. "Even if it is, do you have any ideas on what they could be planning?"
"I was getting to that," Sakura growled, in order to hide the fact that she didn't even think about it sooner. "Anyway, I found this out when I was stopping by at a ninja gathering. I eavesdropped on one of them, who I think was named Sakumo, complaining about a seal within Jashin. Another one, named Kagami, promised that he would have the seal removed within three days for their master, the Harbinger."
Hinata pondered about her description of Jashin as she was talking. "From what the rumors were saying, Jashin was someone that craved death and destruction, so whoever needs him obviously plans on killing an untold amount of people. And since it has a seal, the power must be obviously higher than those we have faced before."
"There's no doubt about it," Suigetsu shivered, "This is definitely Eisenwald. And that Harbinger guy must be really bad news if he plans on unleashing that thing."
"That's because the Harbinger is something of a fanatic towards him." Sakura responded, "Currently, the title of Harbinger goes to the current master and sole ace of the guild, Hidan. If I had known about it sooner, I could have stopped them sooner."
"Hidan the Harbinger," Kurama growled, "The same man known for completing as many sadistic blood rituals as he did assassination missions. But when the Magic Council banned those practices, he and his guild protested it, and they removed it six years ago when their previous master, Yashiro Uchiha, was arrested."
"Obviously, that wasn't enough to stop them," Pakura guessed, "Now we know they're back again, this time as a dark guild." She turned to Sakura and asked her, "You plan on having us stop them?"
"Yes, I do." She told her bluntly, "I failed to stop them once I heard about it. I just proved that I can't take them on by myself, so I need your help to end their reign of terror before they get a chance to summon Jashin."
"Then I guess we'll just beat them up like we always do." Sasuke smirked as he cracked his knuckles. Naruto groaned in agreement, while pointing his thumbs up to show it.
Well, there's something that those two agree it. Thought Sakura, Tenten and Tsunade now owe me from that Bingo game.
"Hey, Sakura, if it's not too much to ask," Hinata began, "what's your magic, actually?"
Sasuke put up a hand to stop her. "What she can do has to be seen to be believed. Witnessing her magic is like feeling the very planet itself shatter into a billion fragments, the likes of which float aimlessly across dimensions no one has ever seen before."
"A bit of an overstatement, don't you think?" Kurama interrupted.
"Let me have my fun!"
"I definitely don't know about shattering the planet into a billion fragments," Sakura answered. "But you should definitely ask Sasuke what his magic is. Something to do with plasma, I believe."
"That would be correct." He smirked cockily. "Plasma magic is something no ninja has ever accomplished before. It lets me manipulate and create plasma itself. Allow me to give you a proper demonstration." He created a plasma version of a tiny fox, which everyone awed at, even Naruto, who is still sick. (A/N: The plasma used for the story will work like Plasmus from Teen Titans 2003).
"And you already know about my friend over here," he pointed at Naruto. "Lightning jinchuriki at his finest. Despite the fact that he can be a bit of a nuisance, he's someone we look out for."
"Same goes to you, buddy." Naruto groaned.
Hinata and everyone else smiled at the two's camaraderie. It goes to show that despite their constant bickering and fighting clouds, the two consider each other to be their best friends.
Not long after their conversation, Team 7 has arrived at their destination, Yuga Falls. Most of them exited the train, taking in the sights ahead of them.
Sasuke was the first to break the silence amongst them. "So are you sure Hidan and his goons are hiding here?"
Sakura answered back, "I can't say for certain. We're going to have to ask around."
Hinata lightly gasped, realizing that something must have happened to one of their own. "Yeah, about that, there's one slight problem."
"Oh no, did we forget…" Suigetsu began.
"We did." Pakura answered, "We forgot Naruto."
"WHY DO YOU ALL DO THIS TO ME?!" Kurama yelled at the ceiling, groaning at his predicament once again.
Speaking of our favorite jinchuriki, Naruto was still suffering from his motion sickness as he just laid there on the train. In front of billions of passengers. Who failed to ignore him as he came close to vomiting... again.
"Excuse me." Said a man with a spiked-up blue hairstyle and an eyepatch covering his left eye. "Anybody sitting here?" Naruto took the time to moan, giving the man enough cues to sit down.
The man looked at the jinchuriki and took note of his condition. "Motion sick, huh? Have a friend who has that condition. My condolences for having to deal with it."
"No problem, man." He assured him. The man took notice on the fox tail mark in Naruto's hand.
"Fox Tail, huh. So you're in one of those types of guilds, huh. Can't say I'm not jealous."
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Naruto tried to yell, but the motion sickness succeeded in covering up his anger.
The man stood up from the train. "What, you think you can hide behind a wall of humility? Don't make me laugh," he smirked, "Dark guilders like ourselves tend to think lowly of brats like yourselves. You guys think of yourselves as foxes, but really you're just a bunch of pups. And it's time for you to learn your place."
Naruto attempted to get up, despite his motion sickness. After he succeeded, he tried to cover up one of his fists with lightning. He failed miserably due to the train rumbling.
"Heh, and the pup thinks he can bite back." The man laughed. "Now how about you experience magic from real pros."
That was when the train stopped, pushing both of them into the ground. Afterwards, the man's eyepatch fell out, and on the back of it was a symbol of a three-headed skull and crossbones.
And the Eisenwald arc kicks off with a BANG! Now to get my earful from a certain copy-ninja.
Kakashi (pissed and points as the screen): What is this? What is this right there?
I swear to Hagoromo, I have a legit explanation –
Kakashi: Fuck that, my own father is written as a villain! This is a complete contradiction to what he believed in!
Hey, you try finding villains in your series! Not a lot of them are memorable, and there are seven zillion heroes as is! It's inevitable that most of them are going to be written as villains!
Kakashi: Doesn't mean I'm still happy about it.
Tenten: Tell me about it, though mine's a really different case.
Well, at least you're accepting of my reasons.
Tsunade: He's right, if you read my arc in our manga, I acted a lot like Cana before I came Hokage.
Tenten: Fair enough. But you could've at least told him about Sakumo.
Okay, gee, how was I going to tell him? "Hey, Kakashi, you don't do shit in this arc, but your father is, and he's going to be working with the most dickish of the Akatsuki?"
Tenten: Ummm… Maybe something nicer.
Yeah, fair enough. I knew he was gonna have a hissy fit regardless of what I tell him.
Kakuzu: It's a lost cause. Just like the fact that I have to accept the fact my partner's in this arc.
Hidan (waves around Erigor merchandise): Yeah! I'm the villain! Let's go! Something I like for once!
Kakuzu: Do you have any other hobbies?
Hidan: You're just mad you don't do jack in this arc.
Kakuzu: Bite me, Erigor.
Hidan: Yeah, feeling's mutual. But I play a grim reaper, and it fits with my character motifs, so go fuck yourself.
Alright, Hidan. That's enough. Same for you Kakuzu.
Kakuzu: Fine. I'm gonna smoke some with Asuma and Shikamaru.
Kurenai: Is it wrong to worry about Shikamaru's habits?
No it is not. Now a message to my adoring fans.
Look guys, Hidan being the villain is self-explanatory. Both wield scythes, and both like killing people. That is basically most of their personalities in a nutshell.
Hidan: True, but fans love me. Erigor doesn't have that, and if you're reading this, I'm Number One on Top Ten Anime Reapers.
Naruto: Not a real Top Ten.
Hidan: Well, it should be.
Okay, good luck dealing with Soul Society from Bleach.
Hidan: Don't worry, I will. (shocked) Wait, what the—
Alright, that's it. I'll be seeing you all this weekend, and the Eisenwald arc will continue.
While I am here, what do you all think of my version of Sakura?
Naruto: Love it! It's awesome!
Tsunade: I second that.
Ino: This chapter would be perfect for her!
Sasuke: No wonder the fans ship me with her so much.
Sakura: Yes! I love it! Thank you, Author!
No problem. Now my "paperwork" –
Tsunade, Mu, Hiruzen, Kakashi, Kurotsuchi, and Naruto: (shudders)
Also known as fight scenes will show up the next chapter. Then you will really see what Sakura can do.
Important message for you all is to leave reviews and constructive criticism. They make me improve and they make me very happy. Flames will not be tolerated and will be fed to Pakura the Scorch Eater immediately.
Sasuke: Any one from our series actually eat fire?
Well, this is the best solution I can come up.
