Moxxie slowly opened his eyes as the morning alarm, set for 6:50 began beeping. The small imp let out a loud groan before he turned on his right side and slammed his arm on top of the device, making it to shut up. Moxxie then yawned and rubbed his eyes, feeling incredibly tired. The imp rolled on his back and looked at the dark ceiling before he rolled his head to his left to see the empty spot next to him. He moved his hand across it, like he was trying to touch or find someone, but he soon stopped.

"Why do I have to go to work," he mumbled to himself. The imp then slowly crawled out of his bed, supporting himself on the nightstand. His head was killing him. As Moxxie made his way to the kitchen, he continued thinking and talking to himself. "I mean, yeah, the payment is good and Blitz is a decent boss, despite running an assassination buisness." Moxxie opened his fridge and began looking for something to grab.

"But what I can't stand is that bitch Millie. That hillbilly really needs to change her attitude or else..."

After finding nothing he could munch on, Moxxie sighed and closed the fridge. "Or else nothing, Mox." As Moxxie looked the clock on the wall, he cursed himself and ran towards the bathroom to change for work.

"I really need to stop talking to myself, it is getting distracting."

Once he was done brushing his teeth, Moxxie began changing up. Due to the lack of time, the imp decided to just put on a simple dress shirt, pants and a tie. He fleed out of his small apartment immediately after that and headed towards his work place.

Blitz left the wipe cloth and inspected his custom painted black and yellow Desert Eagle. The CEO of I. M. P. smiled pridefully, happy from what he saw, as he put it back into its holster. Blitz then looked at his watch. It was 8:01 and Moxxie still hasn't come. But just as Blitz was about to call him, he heard the sound of running hooves before they stopped right infront of his door.

Moxxie walked in, panting, and before he could say anything, he fell onto his knees, trying to take his breath. Blitz elevated one of his eyebrows and said sarcastically, "I have to say, Moxxie, your timing gets better and better. This time you actually managed to come one minute after eight."

Moxxie stood up and just then Blitz managed to see the exhausted look on his employee's face and while it wasn't rare for his employee to come sleepy or a little bit tired, this was something completely else. Moxxie's bags under his eyes were not only visible, but they were so big one could use them for pencil holders and his face had seemingly lost all of its color and was as pale as a sheet of paper, although that might have been due to morning "jog" he Moxxie managed to inhale once more, he said, "I am incredibly sorry, sir. I'll make sure this doesn't happen again."

Blitz sighed and before Moxxie could walk out of his office, the taller imp stopped him with the words, "If you aren't feeling that well you can aways go back home and rest."

"Oh... Uh, thank you, sir, but I am fine. Besides, the weekend is close anyway, so no need for that," Moxxie lat out a small, nervous laugh before he walked out. As he was heading towards the kitchen he slapped himself in the face. "Stop being so spineless, Mox. You blew your opportunity to go back home and just die on the bed."

Loona, the adopted, 18 years old daughter of Blitz, was sitting at the table, reading one of her books. Due to the low temperature in the room, she was wearing a grey hoodie and baggy pants. Loona corrected her glasses once more as she turned the page, but just then, Moxxie walked in with a slam, causing the hellhound to jump of her seat. She calmed down quickly though and looked at him, saying, "Good morning, Mr. Moxxie! How did you... Sleep?"

Moxxie barely looked at her as he headed towards the coffee machine. While waiting for the drink to get ready, the imp laid his head down, against the counter and sighed. Noticing something was not right with her dad's employee, Loona came closer to Moxxie and asked him once more. "Um, Mr Moxxie? Is everything alright?"

"Kid, have you ever felt like not only your head is going to explode, but also that your legs can't hold you and you are going to fall down into the endless abyss of misery and death."

Loona's ears flopped and the hellhound scratched awkwardly the back of her head. She turned her head side to side and remained silent for about minute or so before she began talking again." Well, uh... I-"

But just before she could continue, someone else came inside the room, and she was even louder than Moxxie.

"Howdy there, suckers," Millie shouted out and looked around the room. Becasue nobody shared her enthusiasm, the female imp just shrugged her shoulders and dusted off her hands.

As she passed by Moxxie, she noticed that her colleague was almost sleeping, barely holding his eyes open. This gave Millie an idea and with a devilish grin, she slipped her leg around his and made the tired imp to loose balance and fell back. Moxxie let out a loud grunt as he hit the cold floor, much for Millie's amusement.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU, YOU STUPID BITCH!"

Millie stopped laughing and before Moxxie could realise what was going, Millie kicked him in the face, making the poor imp to roll backwards and hit the floor once more.

That display of violence caused Loona to run out of the room and head right to her father's office. Seein that the only eyewitness was gone, Millie cracked her knuckles and stepped on top of Moxxie, pressing her hoof against his chest.

"Let's teach this naughty doggie how to behave," her grin grew even more. But before she could do anything else, she felt a tight grip around her right horn and, as Blitz turned her head around, Millie saw the disapproving look of her husband.

"Oh, h-howdy there, honey... Is there- Ouch, ouch, ouch," Millie began to whimper as Blitz dragged her to his office, leaving Lona to take care of Moxxie. As the imp boss got into his office, he let go of his wife and her first reaction was to ask him, "Hey, what was that fo-"

"WHAT FOR FUCK'S SAKE HAPPENED THERE, MILDRED?!"

Millie gulped and laughed nervously. "I uh... I just decided to play him a little prank, nothing more, heh."

Blitz's annoyance and anger grew even more as he groaned and massaged his forehead with his fingers. He then took a deep breath and tried to contain his displeasure. "Listen, Mildred, I didn't hire you so that you can fight with my employees. Just because you are my wife that doesn't automatically mean you can do whatever you want around here."

Millie crossed her hands and huffed, "That dork was begging for it-"

"Well, I don't care if he begged for it or not, you are not privileged," Blitz slammed his fist into the office desk. This caused Millie to lower her head and mumble out, "I understand you, honey. I... I am sorry."

"Good. Now, I won't force you to apologise, since I know how "good" you are at doing so, if you promise me you won't do this again."

Millie nodded her quickly with a big smile on her face. Before she walked out though, she came closer to her husband and gave him a small kiss on his cheek. "Thank you, honey. Also, prepare yourself for some nice, messy sex this night-"

"Mildred."

"Heh, sorry, sorry. I will make my way out."

As Millie walked out of the office, Blitz turned around and checked himself into the mirror, making sure his pinstripe suit looks good and doesn't have wrinkles.
