"You guys followed us here from the camp?" asked Sharon as Alden and the others stood before her.

"We thought you two were in trouble when we saw you walking into the forest with a counselor, so we came to check in on you," said Gordo.

"But what were you talking about a spy gadget for?" asked Connor.

"We were talking about Sharon's braces," said Maria before said braces shot electricity at a nearby metal tray.

"Duck!" said Suzen while pushing Sharon down to dodge the tray which lodged itself into a wall on the other side of the room.

"Which can do things like that," said Sharon.

"I told you that these things were too dangerous!" said Suzen while turning to face Johnny.

"Guess they are acting in a way that I never thought possible, their programing was meant to keep the wearer safe, but it looks like that part is corrupted," he said.

"Can't you remove them?" asked Geena.

"They have a defense mechanism built in which will keep them safe until it breaks down," said Johnny.

"How long will that take?" asked Sharon.

"About three more years," said Johnny.

"There has to be something else that can help break them down faster than that," said Connor.

"They are built to withstand most foods, I mean high acidic ones will wear away at them but not by much, and I've tried to shut them down with a wireless data input but that didn't work," said Johnny.

"And they are also protected from EMPs so there really is nothing to do but wait the three years needed," he said.

"Great, so I'm stuck with these things doing whatever they want for three years," said Sharon.

"I'm sorry, Miss. Spitz," said Johnny.

"And I know that it won't make up for everything you have gone through, but I'm willing to give your family a large sum of money as an apology," he said.

"You're going to tell my parents what happened, every last bit of information that you have about this," said Sharon.

"You have my word, we'll also be keeping an eye on you to protect you in case anything happens," said Johnny.
