Dropping off both Belle and Mr Gold after their trips in the TARDIS, Regina had asked for the help of both Mr Gold and the Professor. Henry had been having a few nightmares since he had been under the sleeping curse. But they weren't ordinary nightmares. After waking from them, he had had burns on his arms. So, Regina asked for help.

While Henry was sitting at the counter, Mr Gold and the Professor inspected the burns on his hands and forearms. "Oh, yes. You were quite right to call me," Mr Gold noted.

"So Y-you can help? It was just a dream?" Henry asked.

The Professor nodded as he waved his hand, and the burns on Henry's arms disappeared. "Of course."

"What you're describing, Henry is certainly not a dream," Mr Gold began to explain.

"Then, what was it?" Regina asked.

"A side effect to that sleeping curse," the Professor answered. "You should learn more about the curses before you enact them."

"My victims are not supposed to wake up," Regina stated. "So I certainly never cared what happened to them after. Until now."

Walking back to the table where his bag was, Mr Gold began to open it. "When people fall under a Sleeping Curse, the soul travels to a netherworld where it resides until awoken. Now, this world is between life and death, and it's a real place. However ... even when the curse is broken, sometimes in sleep, the victims find their way back to that world... victims like you," Mr Gold explained, as he began to look through the vials of potions. Picking up a small bottle of blue liquid, he reached into the bag again and picked up a pendant, where he began to place a few drops of an unknown liquid into it.

Regina walked over to Mr Gold. "This other world is tormenting my son every time he sleeps. I want you to give him something that will keep him from going there," Regina demanded.

"Well, I'm afraid that's not possible. I can, however, give you something that will allow him to control his actions whilst in that world. And once one controls something, one no longer needs to fear it," Mr Gold said, holding up a necklace.

Henry looked at it and tilted his head. "A necklace?"

"You wear this while you're sleeping. Once you control the journey, fear will stop. And then, you can come and go as you please." He extended the necklace to Henry, but Regina stopped him from taking it.

"Everything comes at a price with you. What do you want for this?" Regina asked.

"For a house call? You couldn't afford it. But this is for Henry. This one's on me."

The next day, both Belle and Mr Gold were having a burger in Granny's Diner. The one that they had promised to have before the Daleks took them. Granny placed the two plates of burger and chips in front of the couple, and Belle smiled. "They smell delicious, Granny."

"They are delicious," repeated Granny. "Didn't take any dark magic, either." She glared over at Mr Gold. "Oh. And I charge extra for the pickles."

"Mmmm-hmm," was all Mr Gold said before Granny walked back over to behind the counter. "I have a complicated relationship with her," he explained to Belle. "As I do with most people."

"Well, it did take me a little time to get to know you," Belle replied. "They will."

Nodding ever so slightly, Mr Gold reached over and grabbed a ketchup bottle and held it up for her. "You know," he began, hoping to change the subject, "you should try it with ketchup. Condiments are this world's most powerful magic."

He set it down when someone slammed the door shut behind them. Mr Gold looked up and saw Regina walking over to his booth. "Gold. We need to talk."

"Do we?" Mr Gold asked, not looking up at her.

Granny turned around at hearing Regina's voice. "Folks … I think I may need to close early. Everybody out."

"No. It's okay," Regina replied. "We're civil."

"Yeah. For now," Mr Gold retorted. "Belle. You remember the woman who locked you up for 28 years."

Belle began to get up to leave. "I should probably just ..."

"No, no. Please stay where you are. Whatever she has to say won't be a secret from you. Whatever she wants, she won't get."

"I'm actually coming about the one thing that might unite us," Regina said, leaning down slightly.

"And what on Earth can that be?"

Regina leaned down even further. "Cora," she replied in the softest of voices. "She's coming from our land. I need your help to stop her."

"But she was dead. You told me you saw the body."

"Apparently, you taught her well. She's not, and she's on her way. And I don't think I need to remind you how most unpleasant that would be for the both of us."

"For you. I can handle Cora."

Regina looked back at Mr Gold and shook her head slowly. "That's not how she tells the story," she remarked.

"I won, in the end," Mr Gold retorted.

"Maybe." She leaned down closer. "But there's a big difference this time." Regina looked over at Belle, who was confused at the conversation that was going on. "This time, you have someone you care about. This time you have a weakness."

"I'm sorry," Belle began. "Who is this woman?"

"Someone you will never meet," Mr Gold answered Belle before looking back at Regina. "So you say she's coming. Where is she?"

"With them," Regina answered, adding an emphasis on the word 'them'.
