That same night that the Jolly Roger sailed into the harbour, the rest of the town was having a dinner party at Granny's Diner. And everyone was invited. Emma, Mary Margaret, David, Henry, Regina, Dr Hopper, the Dwarves, Ruby, Granny, Mr Gold, Belle, the Doctor, the Professor, and even Rory, Amy, and Brian Williams. Everyone who had helped them return safely to Storybrooke. Everyone and their friends.

David tapped the side of his glass with a spoon to quieten down the room. "I just wanted to, uh, thank you all for joining us tonight. Mary Margaret and I have a saying that we will always find each other, and while I believe that with all my heart, I'd like you all to raise your glasses and join me when I say, here's to not having to look for a while. To Mary Margaret and Emma." They all raised their glasses up, smiling before all taking a sip. "And Regina. She has done her best not to give in to her old ways."

"You kidding me, right?" Leroy asked.

"She looked after Henry all right. Never let him be in any harm. And that is all right by me."

"She also helped us get home. Along with the Doctor," Emma added. "No matter what Regina did in the past, we owe her our thanks now."

We're also celebrating the Doctor and the Professor today," Emma said. "They helped us get home. We owe them our thanks. And to be honest, it is so glad to be back. I cannot tell you the relief of cooking something that I didn't have to kill first."

"She's trying to change for Henry. He believes in her. And I think we all need to do that. If we believe that she can change - as Henry says - then she can change."

"That's very profound, Professor," Amy said. "Storybrooke has changed you..."

"Well, that, and Rumplestiltskin has been a big influence on me over the years I've been here. You should all listen to him. He's one of the wisest men you will ever meet..."

"I have only become that way, dearie, because of one man in particular..." Mr Gold said. "The Doctor. His guidance while I was growing up taught me a lot. If there's someone we should be celebrating, it's him."

"Or...we can all celebrate each other..." David said, and all the people in the Diner cheered.

A couple of hours after the party, the Doctor decided to leave the Diner and go to the TARDIS. His abrupt exit also made Amy, Rory, Brian, and the Professor follow him.

"Hey..." Amy said, "Jiminy Cricket - I mean, Doctor Hopper - he made a cake for the party. Don't you want a piece?"

"No. I should really be going. Take you guys home. Well, you, Brian and Rory. I have things to do, worlds to save, swings to swing on. Look, I know, you all have lives here on Earth. Beautiful, messy lives. That is what makes you so fabulously human. You don't want to give them up. I understand."

"It's you that Amy and Rory can't give up, Doctor. And I don't think they should. Go with him. Go save every world you can find. Who else has that chance? Life will still be here on Earth," Brian said.

"You could come, Brian," the Doctor said.

"Somebody's got to water the plants. Just bring them back safe. After you drop me off, you can take them on some wild adventure."

The Doctor nodded. "Yes. Of course."

The Professor hugged them all. Before walking back towards Granny's. "You're not coming?" Rory asked.

The Professor shook his head. "Not this time. Storybrooke still needs me. It's still a new town," he told them. "I'll see you again. Just have fun, all right?"

The others waved back at the Professor before boarding the TARDIS, and it began to fade away into nothing.
