On the same day that the Professor and Belle had left with Strax to go to Victorian London, the Jolly Roger had sailed into the Storybrooke Docks. Captain Hook and Cora waited until it was the night for them to exit the ship. The two villains didn't want to be seen. They wanted the element of surprise.

Jumping onto the docks, Captain Hook was approached by Cora. He turned around. "Well, my dear Cora. This is where we shall part ways," Hook stated. "Thank you for everything, but it's time for me to skin my crocodile."

But Cora was having none of it. Silently, she engulfed herself in a whirl of purple smoke and reappeared in the same smoke in front of the pirate – blocking his path. "You might want to rethink this."

The pirate captain stared at her. "We had a deal," he said through clenched teeth. "Now, get out of my way."

Cora just stayed there. "Believe it or not, I'm doing you a favour," she said calmly.

"By preventing my vengeance?"

"Ask yourself how I'm doing that."

Hook stayed silent for a few seconds. "By using your dark magic."

"Exactly. Magic is here. And that makes matters a bit more complicated. If you go off half-cocked after an empowered Rumplestiltskin, do you know what'll happen?" Cora asked. Hook stayed silent but acknowledged the question with a slight nod of his head. "So you do. Good."

"Hey. You folks need anything?" a fisherman asked as he approached the two of them. "Tackle shop doesn't open until morning, but if you want to go out and try and snare some of New England's finest pescatarian creatures, I'd be happy to open early for you."

"No, thank you. We're fine," Hook said.

The angler turned to his left and saw the Jolly Roger. "

"It's a fine vessel you got there. When'd you get in?" The Fisherman said.

"What vessel?" Cora asked.

"Why that one right..." the Fisherman said, pointing to the Jolly Roger, but Cora used her magic to make it invisible. "Hey, that's a neat trick. You some magician back in our land?" But no one got a chance to answer him, as Cora had him turned into a fish.

Captain Hook approached the fish and pushed it into the water with his boot. He turned to Cora. "What did you do with my ship?"

"I hid it from prying eyes," Cora answered. "For what we both want to do, we need the element of surprise. Now, you ready to listen to me?" Cora asked.

"Go on, your Majesty. What now?"

"Let's go have a little look at this Storybrooke, shall we?" Cora asked. She walked past Hook and towards the town itself before Hook followed her.
